A very delicious restaurant. Friendly staff. The food was fantastic. We had Pinsa Romana with salmon and Quattro Formaggi, as well as gnocchi with basil pesto, and apple crumble for dessert. Parking is available nearby. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you to the Café am Ring team for the wonderful evening.

We visited Café am Ring for the first time today. From the outside, the café looks very inviting and is centrally located near Hameln's old town. The café is beautifully decorated for the New Year period. The staff is very friendly and hardworking. I ordered the gnocchi with basil pesto. It was absolutely delicious. The café is definitely worth another visit.

The restaurant is a bit overhyped. The food quality is average. For the prices, one could expect a little more. My beef stir-fry was very unimaginative. The sliced ​​meat was a bit tough. The mushrooms were canned. The sauce was bland. The Denner beer is very tasty. The service is friendly and attentive. It's very noisy in the restaurant. It's worth noting that my friends were satisfied with the quality of their food.

I enjoy going to Café am Ring, no matter what I order, it tastes very good, but €7 for a slice of cheesecake is where I draw the line. I won't be eating cake there anymore.

My second time in Hameln and once again I'm absolutely thrilled with this restaurant! Everything is perfect, from the Polish specialties to the incredibly crispy and delicious pizza, which is served here with a special dough called pinsa. The place was quite busy, but we were still served quickly, courteously, and efficiently. The fresh local draft beer made it all the more perfect. Next time I'm in Hameln, I won't be experimenting; I'll come straight here.

My family and I visited for the first time this weekend and will definitely be back! The ambiance is super nice and incredibly cozy! The service is very friendly and accommodating; we immediately felt at home! The food is fantastic; we had the breakfast platter, which included a wide selection and was beautifully decorated. The pinsa instead of rolls rounded it off perfectly. A heartfelt recommendation, Grazie!

We ate pierogi and roulades; the food was good, but nothing special. There are so many seats there, it just doesn't feel comfortable.

We were here at lunchtime and were served quickly. The carpaccio di bresola was a good size and tasted wonderfully creamy with the cheese and the juicy meat. It also had plenty of pine nuts on it. The pelmeni/pierogi could be ordered mixed, and each of the three varieties was excellent. They came with beetroot, coleslaw, and cream. The pierogi were very large and had a lot of cheese. We happily asked for them to take them home. Overall, everything was delicious, except for the banana cake (sheet cake approx. €4.50, San Sebastian cheesecake approx. €7.50), which was a bit disappointing.

A very pleasant atmosphere and exceptionally delicious food. We feel very comfortable there and have a great time.

The friendly ladies at the prontamoda boutique in Hameln's city center recommended this restaurant to us upon request. As cyclists and day tourists, we would hardly have chosen this pleasant, tastefully decorated restaurant. The service was extremely friendly, and the food was sophisticated and the ingredients fresh. The wine was also very good. The value for money was excellent. A glimpse into the kitchen showed us that the food was a professional at work. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Today we went to eat asparagus with a wheelchair group. The entire meal was ordered in advance, last week. The appointment was scheduled for 12 hours, but it arrived 45 minutes later. Unfortunately no one came to the table and explained the situation to us. We didn't feel valued or welcome at all. What a shame!! The food was fine!

I have to say that I am very disappointed. I remember the food and the quantity differently. I ordered a chicken schnitzel. A huge plate arrived though!!!!!!!! Unfortunately with very few fried potatoes and a schnitzel which was much smaller than the one from my companion. And charging €18 for it is cheeky. I'm happy to pay, but then fill the plate with normal adult portions and no children's portions please!!!!!! The salad was no longer crunchy either.

Incompetent & brazen!! I ordered an Aperol Tonic. The price was an Aperol Spritz (€8.00) + tonic (€4.00) = €12.00. Reason: Aperol is only available as a spritz and has to be calculated that way. The “head waiter” also didn’t know Aperol Tonic. Poor Hamelin

The Café am Ring is always a good place to go for good service and delicious food. We love coming here regularly and are always satisfied. No matter whether you just come for a drink or to eat, there is something for everyone. In addition to the regular menu, there are always changing recommendations, so there is always something new to try.😋 Even if something didn't meet expectations, we acted in a customer-oriented manner and found a solution. We are happy to have the Café am Ring here in Hameln and are really looking forward to our next visit.🤗

The food is very tasty! The staff polite, nice and very helpful! All in all it was really nice. Highly recommended! Even the smoking community is allowed to do so outside or partially covered. We will definitely come back again. Edit: we were there today (05/22/25): I had a hair in my food twice. Hygienic things are different. It's a shame that this restaurant has deteriorated so much. Definitely not again ☹️

We went to the Café am Ring a few times and ate vegan pinse. At first they were really tasty and the service was very nice. At some point we were there and had a bad experience with the food. After a long time, the two of us were there yesterday and ordered pinse again. One was delicious, but mine was so sparsely topped, dry and therefore didn't taste good. After the first piece I complained, but the waiter wasn't interested. He kept saying it was a Pinsa and not a pizza. I bake pinse myself, so I didn't need any instruction. He argued with me for minutes and repeatedly asked what I actually wanted. I asked him to take the pinsa with him. The cheeky answer: “You still have to pay. You ordered it.” Then he offered to have a new one baked, but it would be just as dry. Vegan pins would always be so dry. The dough was ok. It was about the topping that had dried out in the oven and the very sparse amount. I didn't want to make a big scene in the restaurant, so I put oil on them so it wouldn't be so dry and then I ate them. We then skipped dessert and coffee. I paid without leaving a tip. Dear Mr. Ober: "The sound makes the music and its sound was very bad." Two stars from me because a Pinsa was OK.

On the occasion of my birthday, I had a delicious brunch with my family at Café am Ring today. There were 11 of us and everything went perfectly. The entire team listened to my wishes in advance and the service and food were perfect. Thank you for the lovely morning. Can only recommend it to everyone! Price performance is top!

The food was very tasty and the portions were also very filling. The table was quickly cleared after everyone was finished and as soon as everyone had finished drinking, they asked if they wanted anything else. We were there at Christmas time (December 23rd) and unfortunately there was very little decoration. Otherwise overall great!

We ordered our wedding cake here and were absolutely satisfied. The cake was very tasty, beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Communication was easy and pleasant. The price-performance ratio was also good.

Really good food! We had an excellent breakfast there. There was a rich, fresh platter for two with delicious selections. Plus homemade bread and homemade jam. In the afternoon we had really great cakes (also homemade and tempting selection). We took pierogi back to the hotel for the evening. They were sooo good and came with special salads. The service there was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is a bit too modern for me but that's a matter of taste. Definitely very clean and pleasant. The location is also quite nice. Not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but still easy to reach. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely come back the next time we visit Hameln.

For breakfast for two, there is a bread basket with bread and rolls, although there is always only one roll. When you asked the service that there was only one roll, you could buy an additional bread basket with bread and another roll for an additional €2. Let's be honest, you order breakfast for two people! And then you only get one roll. Dear management, please reconsider this, or is this a new business model? Otherwise, the breakfast was delicious and the platter was sufficiently filled. But this missing bun is questionable! And leaves a slightly negative impression! Please just think about it and improve it if necessary. Then you'll be happy to come back again.😊👌

We often go to the Café am Ring, everything was always great, whether it was the food, the drinks or the service, we never had anything to complain about. But today it was repeated for the second time that the service was declining. We waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken. It wouldn't have been a bad thing if the table behind us hadn't been picked up beforehand, the family came after us and only sat for 2-3 minutes. Then it was our turn. That doesn't work. After 10 minutes we got our cake and waited another 13 minutes for our hot drinks…. That's not possible, especially since there wasn't much going on and there were enough staff... a shame

Why isn't there a card at the entrance as required? I had to ask about it first before I decided to stay there. Food, service and ambience ok. In terms of price, I found a simple chicken schnitzel with fried potatoes and a small salad for €18 two to three € too expensive. But what the heck...what I didn't like: The (obvious) boss walks through the store with a glass of wine and chats with the staff at the bar. Actually a no-go...

Went to the cafe there at around 3:10 p.m. In our area there was only one table occupied. After 5 minutes we received neither a condition nor a menu. During this time two more tables were occupied and the guests immediately received the menus as well. Very inattentive with so many staff. We then waited a total of just under 15 minutes to order. The cappuccino was good and the cheesecake was extremely cold, only tasting like sugar due to the cold. The ambience is very nice, but that's about it.

My absolute favorite cafe! I hardly go anywhere else anymore. I'm never disappointed here. Whether breakfast, food or just a cappuccino…. I've never gone home disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is so friendly! You simply feel comfortable in this great atmosphere.

A nice café at Bürgerpark, not far from the historic city center. Guest-oriented, friendly and attentive staff without being intrusive. We were informed in detail about any questions we had about the food on offer. We enjoyed it very much. Our dog was also brought a water bowl without being asked. Thanks! A clear recommendation!

I have to agree with Sofia about the unfriendly service staff. I was there for breakfast too. And the service was a disaster (early shift, I can't rate the other shifts). I come from the catering industry myself and know what I'm talking about. But I was also shocked because this had absolutely not been the case on previous visits and the service was excellent. But that staff apparently no longer exists. But it's not all that bad, because the delicious breakfast and the great ambience make it all better. Some people shouldn't be taken too seriously these days...then they'll get less tips :))

We had breakfast there and sat outside. Were served super quickly and regularly. Great cheese platter and the park directly behind the cafe invites you to take a walk afterwards. You can definitely have a good breakfast. It looked nice inside too. The toilets are modern and it smells great of lemongrass.

I visited this cafe on May 8th this year. Right at the beginning I was asked which drink I would like. Unfortunately I had to wait about 15 minutes until the menu was brought to me. After another 15 minutes the waitress came to me because I had reported it several times. I don't think it's okay that a customer has to wait 30 minutes to place their food order. The outdoor cafe didn't seem crowded. And other customers who came after me have already been served their food. Since I lost my appetite after 30 minutes, I paid for my drink and left the café.

We had breakfast today in the Cafe am Ring. Unfortunately all I can say is “big disappointment” It was my partner's birthday. Despite pre-ordering, there wasn't even a candlelight on the table. In addition, there is unfriendly service and total confusion. Agreements were not kept and in the end an invoice that did not do justice to everything. For 8 people a whopping 195 euros. Very very sad. I was definitely there for the last time. And our friends too. P.S. I am a trained chef, was on the IHK examination board, and have already gotten to know many different cuisines at home and abroad. But you have seriously damaged the belief in good German cuisine.

It's finally open. It's very nice on the terrace. Even the loud Deisterallee doesn't bother you. Service is super nice. So far I can only judge café au lait and strawberry cake. All I can say is delicious, simply delicious. And there's Denner beer on tap. I'm looking forward to it. The wine list is also promising, my favorite wine from the Thielen Feilen winery is also there 👍. I'm looking forward to many wonderful hours there. Update January 2023 Pinsa, simply brilliant, it's so nice that you exist.

If you're looking for something other than pizza, Peking duck, gyros and schnitzel, you've come to the right place. Very tasty, reasonable prices, good quality and attentive service.

I was at Café am Ring for breakfast on June 18th. We sat outside. The entire outdoor area is well protected from the sun. It's really comfortable to sit in. With a view of the community garden, there is a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. I was really impressed with the service. Very friendly and courteous staff who were always present but never intrusive. A nice conversation and competent information about the dishes were always possible. I ordered a deluxe version of scrambled eggs and was really satisfied. I can fully recommend Café am Ring as a breakfast restaurant. I will come back with the family.
