I definitely had higher expectations for the food. It wasn’t amazing but wasn’t terrible. I enjoyed the appetizers more than the mains. A lot of us got steaks and they weren’t cooked right, and the meat was not flavorful. Pretty restaurant though and service was good. Cocktails were also great.

I can highly recommend this restaurant! Many thanks to the entire team for the brilliant service! We'd love to come back!

I was at The ASH today and I loved it! The food was great – perfectly prepared, great quality and a real highlight in terms of taste. The atmosphere is stylish and relaxed at the same time, you immediately feel at home. Special praise goes to our waitress Duygu: she was incredibly friendly, attentive and made the evening even more enjoyable with her friendly manner. This is exactly how you want service! I will definitely come back – clear recommendation!

I had pimientos, batatas bravas as a starter, then a cheesey and finally a lava cake. Everything was just awesome. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The shop has very high ceilings and is decorated in an industrial, charming way with Al Capone style. The toilets are very clean. Nothing was left to be desired for me. I was able to take a photo of the lava cake because I was already slightly full. But the starter and main course looked so delicious that I didn't have time to take photos. So treat yourself!

We were in a group and wanted to eat a la carte. What was noticeable were the attempts to sell us as much as possible, as if the service was paid directly based on sales. This was sometimes unpleasant. The meat was very tasty and to the point, but the vegan burger had plenty of bacon and the potato with sour cream was still closed and only brushed with sour cream, so I definitely had to order more cream. It came in a small bowl the size of an egg cup and wasn't really enough. The New York Cheese Cake was absolutely delicious!

Food was good, service was nice but the music was loud. In the small corner to the right of the bar you couldn't understand much at times

Highly recommended if you are willing to pay a little more. But it's definitely worth it!

I was in this restaurant yesterday and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. The service was also great - our waiter was very friendly, attentive and kept asking if everything was OK. You can tell that there is a great team working here that takes care of the guests. An all-round successful evening – I’ll definitely be back!

-Service was very nice but unfortunately you couldn't understand everything because the music was way too loud (which was absolutely annoying) -Food was okay - nothing special -Prices are a bit too high for some dishes. -The atmosphere was quite nice and cozy but the music was way too loud and the tables were way too close to each other in the lower area

The food was incredibly delicious. But we were even more impressed by Laura's great service. It's rare that as a guest you get the feeling that the waitress enjoys her work. We'd love to come back.

The service and staff were excellent. The ambiance was also very nice, and the restrooms were remarkably clean. The food was delicious, but I found it a bit pricey for the quality. The children's menu was a really great portion for relatively little money.

The food was very tasty. The toilet paper is 1-ply and reveals how hard they are trying to save or maximize profits. Make the food 5 cents more expensive and give customers decent toilet paper.

Good steakhouse in Dortmund! You can get excellent food and very tasty steaks here in a pleasant atmosphere. There is plenty of space in the restaurant, on a gallery and, if the weather is good, outside. The service is quick and friendly. The food comes quickly, tastes very good and the menu offers plenty of choice. Always my pleasure!

Burger was amazing. Steak was awful, I don't recommend it. Staff was smart one day and served everyone efficiently. On the second day we waited 30 minutes to pay the bill Atmosphere is great

The food was great, but the young lady at the reception was unfortunately very unfriendly. We dropped in spontaneously and asked if there were any unreserved seats available in the empty-looking gallery, as it had been far too loud downstairs. The lady then became very snappy, went upstairs with us, dropped the menus on a table, and left without a word or a glance at us. The server, on the other hand, was super accommodating and friendly! The burgers are typical of The Ash and are highly recommended. The restaurant is also in a great location for parking, as there are plenty of free spaces.

We were quickly shown to the place we had booked online... well, what can I say? That was it...despite repeatedly drawing our attention to us, we were not served/noticed...but the three waitresses were able to clear a table and chat...Guests who arrived much later were also served...A very disappointing experience...After waiting 20 minutes, we left the location...

Sunday buffet nothing special, very disgusting waffle iron shortly before the end of the buffet time. Meat only moderate ribs and moderate crispy chicken wings. The rest is normal. Buffet detracts from the otherwise better impression of a normal steak meal. Then steaks and side dishes ok

The burger was one of the best I've ever eaten - juicy meat, perfectly grilled, with fresh ingredients and a wonderfully fluffy bun. There were also crispy fries and a homemade sauce that rounded the whole thing off perfectly. The service was also great: friendly, attentive and fast. The stylish ambience creates a relaxed, yet special atmosphere. If you're looking for good burgers and a great overall experience, this is the place for you! I'll definitely be back!

I went to The ASH yesterday and it was amazing! As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was impressed by the stylish ambience - modern, cozy and with a great atmosphere. The service was super friendly and attentive without being intrusive. My steak was perfectly grilled, juicy and full of flavor - exactly how I wanted it. The side dishes and drinks were also great. For me it was a thoroughly successful evening and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Absolute recommendation!

From the first moment she was completely professional, attentive and to the point - exactly as it should be! Hospitality is not only very important here at Ash, it is actually lived. Our waitress Sam enriched every moment of the evening with her charm, expertise and perfect timing. A service person through and through who takes the experience at Ash to a top level. The wonderful ambience, the excellent cuisine were convincing and the outstanding service made the evening unforgettable. A big compliment to the entire team – and thanks again to our service person Sam! Clearly 5 stars. Unreserved recommendation!

One star less because a large drink is simply brought how am I supposed to drink 0.75 of water alone? I had it taken away straight away..

We were invited to eat there with 6 adults and 2 kids. The ambience is quite nice at first glance. The benches were then very soft and worn out. Substructure clearly and possibly sensitively noticeable. Unfortunately, as the number of guests increased, the music became louder and louder. Entertainment only possible with direct neighbors. Some of the food was ok. Veggie burgers and chicken nugets are not recommended. Desserts are great, visually too. Given the price range, you can expect a little more. Too bad!
