We were on our way from Berlin to Bottrop and met up with a friend for dinner there. The atmosphere was super nice and the staff friendly. The burgers and fries were delicious.

The drink service was a disaster; you had to wait about 30 minutes for it, and that was in the summer! The food tasted like it had been reheated, and the plate was dirty.

Our visit with a couple of friends was fantastic. Xenia did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, both the 250g fillet steak and the 350g rump steak were well done rather than medium rare. Xenia informed her manager, who immediately showed understanding and arranged for replacements. Without even asking, we even got new side dishes and were treated to a drink. The kitchen can make such a mistake once in a while, but it's no problem – especially when guests are looked after so well. We'd love to come back!

We went there for brunch for the first time on a Sunday, just the two of us. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the hygiene of the dishes, cutlery, and restrooms is particularly positive. The brunch selection was okay, but nothing special. You get full, but the offerings were rather average. Although the price at the Dortmund branch is a bit cheaper than at others, we know of restaurants with a better selection and quality at comparable prices. The coffee is brought by the waiter, but the staff was rarely at the table. When we served ourselves, as the coffee was from the buffet, we were somewhat rudely reminded of this. The waitress later explained that it wasn't meant to be offensive. The coffee cups are very small, and used plates were often left uncleared. Overall, we didn't really feel comfortable. It seemed like we were constantly being watched. Small mishaps, like a drop of batter, led to immediate reactions from the staff. My husband also burned himself on a space heater, so please be careful; the heaters are unfortunately quite deep. The food tasted okay, but for us, it wasn't a reason to return for brunch. The dinner menu, however, is recommended—especially if you like meat dishes. We probably won't visit the restaurant again for breakfast or brunch.

Never again! Water served without asking – extremely expensive. Slow service, but brazenly asked for a tip. I feel ripped off. Absolutely disappointing! If I want luxury, I order it myself – I don't need any hidden tricks!

We went to have dinner on a very busy Tuesday night. Food was great, but the service was a little slow (friendly though). The tomato soup is to die for

While I was about to place my order, the waitress (blonde, relatively young) rudely interrupted me. She completely ignored me and didn't even look at me, apparently preferring to serve my boyfriend. And she did so in a manner that was simply inappropriate: She leaned her butt against the table right next to us, and later even leaned against our table while we were eating, to take the order from the next table. Absolutely disrespectful. When my boyfriend didn't tip because of this behavior, she didn't even say "thank you" or "bye," just asked if we wanted a receipt, as if she were offended 😂. This is completely unacceptable. Unprofessional, rude, and just plain embarrassing.
