Was very excited to have dinner here, but left extremely disappointed when we were served undercooked lobster as part of surf and turf. It was not busy, and the lobster was halved - it could have easily been noticed by an attentive kitchen staff. Ruined my birthday dinner.

Excellent food for the price! Very nice atmosphere and the service was fantastic. Menus were available in German and English. Presentation was spot on and the drinks were delicious.

I've been to many steakhouses, but nowhere has the meat tasted as good as here; I didn't even know steak could taste so amazing. I'd love to eat here every day.

Our first visit to Thai and Turf was a real highlight. The perfectly prepared steak and aromatic shrimp were a culinary delight – you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. The presentation of the dishes was also truly eye-catching: creative, stylish, and prepared with great refinement. The service was attentive, warm, and at the same time extremely professional – you immediately notice that the hosts here are truly passionate about their work. A special evening with friends that we will remember for a long time – and certainly not our last visit!

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to Thai & Turf! Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a stylish ambiance and warm hospitality. The combination of Thai cuisine and high-quality steaks may sound unusual at first – but it works impressively here! The menu is creative and varied. I tried the Thai curry with tender beef fillet – a true explosion of flavor! The flavors were perfectly balanced: spicy, fresh, and yet incredibly harmonious. The steaks were also cooked to perfection and of outstanding quality – juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The service was attentive, friendly, and competent – ​​you can feel the passion that goes into their work here. The staff's recommendations were excellent, and even special requests were handled flexibly and professionally. I would also like to particularly highlight the excellent wine selection and the stylish decor, which creates a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. In conclusion: Thai & Turf is a true gem in Frankfurt! Unfortunately I've only been here once, but it was great. I was invited by my company on the evening of the JP Morgan run. Over 60,000 people were in the city center and many of them probably wanted to go out to dinner with their company afterwards. So definitely one of the busiest evenings of the year. With that in mind, we were served quickly and friendly. As a group (around 40 of us), we ordered platters instead of à la carte. First starters such as beef and salmon tartar, summer rolls, guacamole, delicious papaya... and then the main course with delicious fillet and curry. Drinks requests felt like they took less than two minutes, even though the dining room was busy otherwise. We had a lot of fun together after the run and felt well looked after in Thai and Turf, with excellent service and delicious food.

Super fun place to go. Food is amazing and the staff is super nice. The owner also comes out to greet us and every desire you have is met. We love going there.

The service was attentive and friendly; the staff were very helpful in choosing our dishes. The menu offers a great selection, and I chose the Thai curry with tender beef, which was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful. The appetizers, especially the spring rolls, were also fresh and crispy. I highly recommend Thai & Turf and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Overall, our evening with eight people was very cozy and pleasant. •Ambience & Atmosphere The location stands out visually and invites you to linger longer. The furnishings are attractive, stylish and offer a pleasant atmosphere. The music selection is good, but in my opinion it doesn't quite match the menu. The volume was a bit problematic for our large table as communication was made difficult by the position of the table. •Service & seating The staff was consistently friendly and attentive. The seating is comfortable, but the space on the table was a bit limited for a group with large plates. •Food & Drinks •Drinks: The Virgin Hugo was good, classic good wine glasses. I personally didn't like the water glasses. •Starters: The mixed starter plate was not only a visual highlight, but also very convincing in terms of taste. We were particularly impressed by the Thai caprese and the satay gai with the delicious peanut sauce. A quick note: This dish is served cold, which may be unusual for some. •Main course: The dishes were served at very different times (we almost all ordered the same thing) with one exception: a colleague had to wait a long time for his main course. The Pad Thai with chicken was good but next time I would choose something else that might be more convincing. •Dessert: The lemongrass crème brûlée is definitely worth recommending. The sanitary area was clean, there was enough space and there were one or two amenities for women to freshen up (deodorant, hairspray, etc.). I think it's great! Conclusion: The prices are sometimes high or even too reasonable for the quality. A nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and good food. There are some small optimization possibilities for the music and the table arrangement for larger groups. Nevertheless, a clear recommendation for a relaxed evening with delicious food! We'd love to come back.

Ich finde, das Steakhouse wird seinem Ru nicht gerecht! Ich war mit meiner Frau und meinen zwei Kindern dort essen. Ich habe ein US prime rip Eye gehabt. Es war sinnig und komplett sehnig und komplett geschmacklos. Die Garnelen, die wir als Vorspeise hatten, waren TK Ware und trocken. Insgesamt haben wir als vierköpfige Familie, wo ich, wir, nur ein Glas Wein, eine Flasche Wasser und drei Apfelschorlen getrunken wurden, insgesamt 400 € gezahlt haben. Total überteuert und nicht einen Cent wert.

I had dinner at Thai and Turf with my wife. However, I am extremely disappointed with the food and the service! We had reserved a table and arrived on time then we had to wait almost 20 minutes at the bar for our table because it was occupied in advance and the reservation was not taken into account. This restaurant doesn't have a clue about organization or how to treat guests. We were not offered anything to drink nor were our jackets taken away like the apparently regular guests who have VIP status in this restaurant! But the boss and the employees don't care at all about the other normal guests!! When we got to our table after 20 minutes, we had to wait another 10 minutes for the menus because, according to the waiter, there weren't enough cards even though the restaurant wasn't full. You could tell the staff was more busy standing at the counter and talking or watching videos on their cell phones! Our food was brought to us incorrectly twice and the meat was absolutely subpar. We chose the medium rare cooking level and it was cooked completely through twice. The last time I tried it there was too much spice on it so it was inedible. In the meantime the side dishes were of course totally cold and not tasty either. The waiter who served us was very arrogant and was not aware of any guilt. You could tell that he was only doing this job for the tips and had no interest in it at all. In addition, the music was much too loud and you had to shout at each other to understand a word. After repeated requests to turn the music down a little, we were repeatedly told “this is what the boss has prescribed and this is our concept”. We've had enough of this restaurant! When paying, the waiter boldly said that when paying by card we have the option of choosing between 10%, 15% or 20% because of the tip. When I answered that we don't give a tip, the waiter reacted very aloof and stroppy said it was customary to give tips. The young waiter with the dark brown curls should perhaps demonstrate a job change as he has no business in the catering industry with such behavior!

Staff was excellent. Other than that you get mediocre German-Thai average food (I did not try the steaks) and my Old Fashioned was just as average. For the premium price here not recommended by me. The chicken satay was even below average.

A dinner for four will be judged. 1 US fillet 200gr, 2 burgers, 1 Thai curry, cocktails first. Water & wine. Price/performance overall a good-natured two stars, tending to be more like one star. Service was mediocre, given the price level I would expect much more attentive service. The deficiencies highlighted were not treated acceptably. Filet was of very good quality, but the price was almost twice as expensive as other restaurants in Frankfurt that offer US Prime Filet (Nebraska Three Star). So even if the quality was satisfactory, this is also a downgrade. Coleslaw didn't work at all. Like freshly grated white cabbage and dressing way too sour. Been here twice now. But this time is definitely the last time. Too bad.

Thai and Turf is a top choice for foodies who appreciate Thai cuisine and quality steaks! On New Year's Eve I enjoyed a perfectly prepared steak there that impressed with its quality and taste. The service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was pleasantly festive. Absolutely recommended for a special evening!

I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed with last night's at Thai and Turf City. It was my first time there and it will probably be the last time. When we arrived we were allowed to sit at the bar for half an hour. That wasn't a problem at all because we stopped by spontaneously and didn't have a reservation. We were friendly directed to the bar and were always regularly informed about the location of the free tables. When we were finally allowed to sit down at our table, it took another half hour until we even received the menu, even though the big proposal was already over. I don't blame the waiter for this at all, but when I see that there are only two/three waiters there when there's such a rush, it's very poorly planned and it's logical that a lot of customers have to wait a long time. Even when there's not so much going on anymore. With every order, regardless of whether it was the starter, main course, dessert or drinks, things were counted twice or forgotten. It took 15-25 minutes for drinks to be delivered. Even a small bottle of Sprite took 15 minutes. In the same way, at the end of the billing process, things were added back that had not been ordered at all, which I have read more often here in the recessions. The food was quite good, but unfortunately far too expensive for the price. The desired cooking point of our dishes was missed several times. A colleague's burger was prepared extremely carelessly. Even the bowl in which the mayo was was splattered from top to bottom as if the last remnants had been squeezed out of the plastic tube. The musical sound was just as intoxicating. It was a wild roller coaster ride. One second there's driving house music playing, the next second it's the lamest tearjerkers that are mostly used as bouncer tracks in clubs. Dj Skip was very present. Every third track was skipped, large volume differences within the “playlist”, etc. As a DJ, it was really terrible to hear. Maybe it was because the staff was already very exhausted from the day. We were told that 200 guests were already here a day. Accordingly, some dishes were already sold out. Here, too, there was a big faux pas. Our orders have been taken. Here, too, it took a whole half hour before we were informed after ordering that a large number of our dishes were no longer available. The whole thing also happened before when ordering the cocktail. We ordered and after 10 minutes we were told that some cocktails were out. I'm giving at least one more star for the service because they at least tried to make us happy. When we were billing, we were asked several times whether we were satisfied. It was just too much for all of us to complain about the events after that evening. The only point that was completely satisfactory were the cocktails, although some were not available. If I put it in relation to the fact that I left €150 there alone, it was overall very disappointing for the prices quoted.

Honestly, wasn’t the best stay. The service was not good and the food was okay - I guess the overall experience made the food taste less good. They let us wait for the table, completely ignoring my friend (she came a bit earlier than me) and we had to ask multiple times for things, they seemed overwhelmed and didn’t want to come on purpose sometimes. Anyways, the atmosphere in general is pretty decent tho.

We ate at Thai and Turf for the first time last night and were unfortunately very disappointed with how the evening went as we were cheated out of around €20! We didn't have a reservation, so we had to wait at the bar, okay. However, this took 1 hour without us being told a time beforehand. In addition, a couple who probably had contacts with the staff were preferred and only had to wait 10 minutes and then sat down at a table of four, which we (as a group of four) were waiting for. Since we weren't brought to the table like every other guest, we had to wait at the table for 10 minutes, including a clear hand signal, until we were finally served. After the initial contact at the table, the service went ok, but we had a large piece of plastic in our Freestyle Mixed Plate for 2. We received compensation for that, which made us happy. However, at the end we found out on the bill that we had been cheated with the voucher from b my frankfurt 2024. We had to pay full price for the Freestyle Mixed Plate, even though we were told to redeem the voucher. Only then was the invoice handed out. After several discussions with the staff, I let it go. However, it's a big shame, which is why I can't recommend the store! Attached there are photos as evidence (online price of the record, invoice and redeemed voucher)

A very modern high-priced restaurant. The ambience is nice and modern, the service is good. However, the food does not meet expectations when you see the prices. The mixed appetizer platter Freestyle was tasty and pretty to look at, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the grill plate for 2P does not meet expectations for the price. The duck was very dry, the entrecote was tough, the chicken was fried for too long. The lamb and two pieces of fillet were on point! Our friends' burgers were only lukewarm when they came to the table. All in all a good restaurant but the price-performance ratio doesn't match, here you pay for the ambience and style.

That was a very good recommendation from my work colleague. Price is a little higher but worth every cent! Whether steak, fish or Thai cuisine, everything tastes delicious and fresh. The service is great and many people can learn a lesson from it. I like coming there to celebrate special events. Drinks are also great and the atmosphere outside and inside invites you to linger.

The burgers at this restaurant were to die for - by far the best I've ever tasted! The meat was juicy and perfectly grilled, the ingredients were fresh and the rolls were soft and delicious. The taste was unique and the service was friendly and quick. Absolutely recommended for all burger lovers!

The food is a 12 out of 10! Since I am a steak lover, it was important to me to get good meat. At Thai & Turf, these expectations were exceeded! Incredibly good meat and even better preparation. I was really speechless. Furthermore, I have to say that the staff listened to our every wish without being pushy or pretending to be friendly, like on any cheap holiday in Turkey - just to sell the goods. Service is definitely a priority here. Full marks for this too! Above all, the host Floris. Very nice personality and super accommodating. Hallo liebes Team, Ich war im Juli bei euch, auch eher zufällig, da wir mit Freunden unterwegs waren und unbedingt ein gutes Steak restaurant finden wollten. Ich bin aus Köln und hier gibt es schon einige gute Steak läden. Deshalb habe ich mir nichts dabei gedacht als wir bei euch waren. Aber was ich da erlebt habe- schlägt alles!!! Erstmal zum Essen. Das Essen ist eine 12 von 10! Da ich Steak liebhaber bin, war es mir wichtig auch gutes Fleisch zu bekommen. Im Thai & Turf wurden diese Erwartungen übertroffen! Unglaublich gutes Fleisch und noch bessere Zubereitung. Ich war wirklich sprachlos. Des weiteren, muss ich sagen, dass das Personal uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen hat, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein oder gespielt freundlich wie in jedem billig Türkeiurlaub- nur damit die Ware verkauft wird. Service wird hier definitv großgeschrieben. Auch hierfür volle Punktzahl! Allen voran der Gastgeber Floris. Sehr nette Persönlichkeit und mega zuvorkommend. Also, alles in allem, ein wirklich toller Ort für Leute die auf exzellenten Service und noch bessere Qualität stehen. Ich kann das Thai & Turf in Frankfurt definitiv jedem Empfehlen!!!

Service war echt super nett und aufmerksam. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt getroffen und generell hatte man das Gefühl dass einem qualitativ gutes Essen serviert wurde. Für eine Mädelsrunde gab es natürlich auch eine breitgefächerte Getränkekarte.

We went to Thai and Turf again on Saturday... it's a 130km drive for us but we wanted to treat ourselves to it again on the occasion of our wedding anniversary! It was excellent, from the starter to the dessert a dream!! All dishes perfectly prepared and presented! You're happy to pay a little more for that! When the waiter found out that it was our wedding anniversary, he brought us a wonderful plum brandy on the house. The young couple at the next table immediately added more... and what can I say... there was a lot more, including dessert from the kitchen... It was a wonderful evening with great conversations and a wonderful atmosphere, so we had to get a room in the nearby hotel because driving was out of the question! Many thanks to everyone involved who made this evening special!! We would like to come again

We were there in the evening with 4 people. The staff was really very friendly. Unfortunately, for example, the drinks took way too long. We were about to cancel the last drink because we wanted to leave, but then it came. The table next to us wasn't cleared for over half an hour. The drinks were really very good. Unfortunately, the food wasn't entirely good. I had Pad Thai and was very surprised. There were no peanuts, a few sprouts or lime in it. There was pepper and broccoli in the dish. And that for 23€ - for a Pad Thai. My girlfriend's food was definitely good in terms of taste. All in all, the prices are unfortunately too high for what is on offer. Unfortunately, that doesn't take away from the beautiful ambience.

The restaurant offers outstanding service that leaves nothing to be desired. The staff are extremely courteous and attentive, and the food is simply sensational. Every bite is a true taste experience. I can fully recommend this restaurant - an absolute must for foodies!

It was very tasty, varied menu, top service. Prices mixed, high priced for steak. Large selection of starters. If you're lucky, you can either find parking spaces on the side streets, or you can drive into the Alte Oper car park, which is nearby.

great evening. We had 2 B-My2024 with us and because the Thai spare ribs are no longer on the menu we were allowed to use 3 vouchers for 6 people. The mixed starter platter for 2 people or more was great and really filling. From spring rolls to various tartars (tuna, beef, salmon) to carpaccio, everything was great. The burgers for the main course were also delicious. It was great that the service asked whether the main course could be ordered.

We recommend! Even with this restaurant you have to know where it is. Very centrally located in Frankfurt, but I didn't have any parking problems on the direct side streets. Not exactly cheap but very high quality, nice ambience and very attentive service. Tip - it's better to make a reservation, even during the week.

Mit der roten Beleuchtung erinnerte es mehr an ein Bordell in Bangkok als an ein Restaurant. Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit konnte die Bestellung aufgenommen werden. Freundlich teilte man uns mit, dass die von uns zum Teil ausgewählten Vorspeisen aus der verschlissenen Speisekarte zur Zeit nicht vorrätig sind. Wir bestellten dann erstmal die Getränke. In der Zwischenzeit ging ich zur Toilette. Die Herrentoilette war geschlossen, wegen Umbauarbeiten. Ich schaute mir die Baustelle an und war entsetzt. Die Wände waren voller schwarzen Schimmel. Vorräte wurden da offensichtlich auch gelagert und sogenannte Silberfische huschten über den Boden. Ich ging zu meinen Freunden zeigte die Fotos. Wir verzichteten auf eine Essenbestellung und zahlten die Getränke. Eine Kartenzahlung war nicht möglich, man hätte lieber das Geld bar. Den Bewirtungsbeleg erhielten wir erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen. Offensichtlich versuchte man hier noch Gewinnoptimierung über das Einsparen von Steuern zu organisieren.

Schickes Restaurant in der Innenstadt. War früher noch bei der alten Adresse. Das Essen ist hervorragen, wie die letzten male. Steak war auf den Punkt gebraten. Preislich bewegt es sich im Frankfurter Innenstadt Preisniveau.
