Average restaurants with Balkan food

This restaurant offers very affordable grill dishes. The only thing missing is more space and tables. The food tastes great.

I've eaten here several times and give the shop 4 stars. The cevapcici are simply amazing, but the burger was rather average - you can save that. I know you can do better! The rest of the menu always tastes great and the price-performance ratio is outstanding.

The food is good and solid. The service was super friendly. If the tomato salad was properly dressed with dressing and the flatbread on the grill plate was warm and toasted, the shop would absolutely have the potential for 5*

Went there hoping for an authentic Balkan restaurant. I ordered the chicken breast with kajmak. First I got slightly raw chicken legs, then when I asked, they processed the outside into a piece of charcoal inside. It still tasted like raw meat. The third time I went to the register to complain, I was finally offered chicken breast. It tasted very good. I got some bread with it. And a little discount at the end. The service was very nice. They just skimped a bit on the quality of the food. Especially at these prices.

The ambience is great but I didn't like the Balkan-style minced steak at all. The meat was very fatty and, in my opinion, hardly tasted like anything. It's a shame because the ambience and service were good.

Something different from the Christmas market

As a starter we ordered the peppers in a warm kajmak with bread. Everything was very good and tasted good. However, the bread could have been a little crunchier. For the main course we had cevape in bread with ajvar and onions. The bread was atypical for Cevape and was more reminiscent of a burger bread, but was very tasty. The cevape themselves were well cooked and also tasted very good. Overall, I would give it a solid 8 out of 10. The atmosphere is appealing, but due to the location right next to the main train station, it may not be ideal for everyone. Nevertheless, the restaurant is highly recommended and I will definitely come back!

The place has a very cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and relaxed music. The food was delicious, we had the cevapcici which were grilled to perfection. The prices are fair for the quality offered.

We were there and got a place straight away. The service was very quick and friendly. Three cevapcici were missing from my plate. But these were delivered in less than 1 minute. Overall, the food was tasty, but it didn't seem to me like the cevapcici were homemade or made from really high-quality ingredients. Therefore a star deduction in the overall rating. The price-performance ratio was right.

Very tasty and authentic! In the middle of Frankfurt, parking spaces in front of the door and also easy to reach by public transport.

We only went in to have a coffee in the middle of the afternoon, and they treated us wonderfully. Good coffee, well presented with a cookie and milk in case you wanted to add it.

The Balkan Food near Frankfurt main station is definitely worth a visit! The dishes are very tasty and have the authentic taste of Balkan cuisine. The prices are absolutely fair, especially for the portion size and the quality of the food. The staff is very friendly, even if they sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed - it can take a little longer, especially at peak times. Nevertheless, I felt like I was in good hands and would come back at any time. It's just a little too loud sometimes. If you are looking for good Balkan specialties at fair prices in Frankfurt, you have come to the right place!

Food is amazing, the goulash soup is out of this world, Cevapcici taste the way they’re supposed to taste, meat in general is always cooked to perfection. Staff is very friendly and the food arrives on your table in no time, they move very fast. Overall, a hidden gem in this country, great place!!!

Very meat-heavy Balkan cuisine, no fine dining, no modern refinements. But the food seemed very fresh and was perfectly prepared, everything tasted very good. The cheese-filled meatball was terrific. Unfortunately the selection of drinks was very simple. The service was ok, but the tables were barely wiped between guests and we sat in sticky leftover food. Plan more as a fast food stop.

CEVAPCICI well I recommend (which are 4) 2.Bread cold and old (2) 3. Potatoes cold and not tasty (2) 4. Stuffed pljeskavica was made a few hours ago and warmed up again (3) 4. Dry chicken breasts (3) 5. Roast veal (just laugh) doesn't taste good, it's dry, it's not warm...(2) Unfortunately not recommended all together, maybe just order CEVAPCICI. General value for money not recommended.

This really is the best Chevape I've ever tasted. The only thing that could be improved is that the Chevape are fried and not grilled and therefore the smoke flavor is missing. But otherwise they are just perfect!!!

Nice downtown restaurant, unfortunately the toilets cannot be locked. The food, well. The fries were not crispy but soggy and without salt. Even McDonald's fries taste better compared to it. Unfortunately there were no fried potatoes. The veal was incredibly good, as was the turkey and civapcici. But the Pleskavica was terrible with a strange rubbery consistency and spices were missing. The restaurant itself looks very nice, but you can't pay at the table, only at the counter like in a snack bar. I wouldn't eat there again. Very hyped on Tiktok, unfortunately I can't understand it. Was disappointed after the supposedly good reviews. For €16.90 (including €2 for extra Ajvar) definitely too expensive compared to better Cevapcici alternatives. The cevapcici themselves were good. However, the rice as a side dish was not Djuvec rice but simply tasteless, which should be included in “Balkan Food”. Ajvar / coleslaw tasted ok at best, I think I bought it ready-made. I found the portion (especially for the extra ajvar) cheeky and not worth €16.90. Ambience, well, station district. 3 stars for the Cevapcici, still the main course, but not recommended for anything else. There are cheaper and better alternatives nearby.

While the second time, when I was with a German friend, I traveled 150 km, before I went there I called the staff on the phone, do I need to make a reservation, they said no, just come directly, we went, but when we went, I called them back on the phone and they tell me not to come because there is no room and we can't help you, when I went to the restaurant you told me to give you 1 solution, they send us to another bar, they say that we will bring you the food there, I am very satisfied with the food, I have no complaints, but payment for 2 dishes and 3 cocacolas he took from us without understanding 50€ Payment which was not possible to pay, 5 kebabs, 1 slice of white chicken meat, 1 slice of boiled meat Viqi. That is, a dish was calculated at €20 according to the price of Cocacola, because 1 Cocacola cost €3. I don't want to put anyone down there, maybe their employee wanted to take revenge on me because I asked them for a solution because I also showed them the phone call I made beforehand. I'm sorry, but I will never go to this restaurant again. Not because he took €50 from us, but because he cheated me on a German, whom I took and showed him the Albanian culture, and on the phone I told him that I am 150 km away, plus I told him that I have 1 German friend and I am happy with you. I'm sorry that 1 employee of this restaurant takes over the whole place so well, maybe it's also in the family. I'll stop there in the future, but also all my family and those I know know him, I've never stopped recommending this restaurant. This happened more than 10 days ago.
