Eine Stunde für drei Kaffees… schrecklich!

So schlecht behandelt bin ich in meinem ganzen Leben noch nicht. Es ging so weit,das ich die Polizei gerufen habe. Weil ich so beleidigt worden bin von dem Kellner. Nie wieder. Mein Rat : Lieber woanders hingehen am Schlossplatz

Man hatte den Eindruck das Personal will nur bestimmte Gäste bedienen, andere Gäste werden lange ignoriert und nach extrem langer Wartezeit widerwillig und unfreundlich behandelt. Seltsam!

10min an Tisch mit Leergut von vorher gewartet. Stuhl hin & her geworfen, unfhöflicher Servie..

Über eine Stunde auf zwei Getränke und ein Panini gewartet, trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage. Mitarbeitende waren definitiv überfordert und ab 14 Uhr wurden auf der Terrasse plötzlich keine Bestellungen mehr aufgenommen und neue Leute wurden weggeschickt. Eine halbe Stunde später war alles wieder normal.

Ich bestellte etwas und bekam etwas völlig anderes; kein Irrtum, so läuft das hier eben. Nach meiner Beschwerde kam zwar die richtige Bestellung, aber der Kellner machte deutlich, dass er mir beim nächsten Mal das servieren würde, was in dieser Bar üblicherweise serviert wird, nicht das, was ich bestellt hatte. Das ganze Erlebnis ließ mich dankbar für einen Sitzplatz sein, nicht wie ein zahlender Gast. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Habe mir vorhin eine Cola Zero (0,5 Liter) gegönnt. Preis = 4 Euro. @Terrazza: ihr habt echt den Allerwertesten bis zum Anschlag offen

Ehrlich gesagt, die Wartezeit war lang, aber das Problem war, dass ich Orangensaft bestellt hatte und er in einem Coca-Cola-Glas serviert wurde. Ich war die Einzige, die das bekommen hat. 👎🫤

An sich war das trinken inordnung. Nur das Personal wirkt sehr genervt und gestresst. Wir haben 1 Stunde auf 3 getränke gewartet und das ist definitiv zu viel. Mal davon abgesehen das alle Personen die nach uns karmen ihre Bestellungen vor uns bekommen haben.

Ich hatte hier eine der schlechtesten Restaurant-Erfahrungen meines Lebens. Ich habe eine Pizza bestellt, aber das, was serviert wurde, war eindeutig eine Pinsa. Als ich das angesprochen habe, meinte das Personal einfach, dass das ihre „Pizza“ sei – was ehrlich gesagt sehr irreführend ist. Leider wurde es danach noch schlimmer. Kurz nach dem Essen bekam ich starke Bauchschmerzen und sehr schlimmen Durchfall. Ob es an der Qualität des Essens oder an mangelnder Hygiene lag, kann ich nicht sicher sagen, aber irgendetwas war definitiv nicht in Ordnung. Etwas als Pizza zu verkaufen, obwohl es keine ist, und dann auch noch Essen zu servieren, nach dem man krank wird, ist absolut inakzeptabel. Für mich wirkt das wie eine Abzocke und ein komplettes Versagen in Bezug auf Ehrlichkeit und Qualität. Ich kann nur davon abraten, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. When I pointed it out, the staff insisted that this is how they define “pizza,” which honestly felt misleading. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there. Shortly after eating, I started experiencing severe stomach pain followed by very bad diarrhea. Whether it was due to the food quality or hygiene standards, something was clearly not right. Calling something a pizza when it’s not, and then serving food that potentially makes customers sick, is completely unacceptable. This felt like a scam and a serious failure in both honesty and quality. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Wir waren spontan in Stuttgart und wollten die Aussicht zum Schlossplatz geniessen. Wir konnten uns hier an die Sonne hinsetzten und es geniesen. Die Getränke und Speisekarte ist gut und preislich fair, obwohl es an einer sehr guten Lage ist. Wir haben nicht gegessen, sondern nur etwas getrunken.

Cafe am Schlossplatz, wunderschön Außenbereich in der Sonne direkt an der Königstraße. Service Mitarbeiter freundlich und für Smalltalk zu haben, auch sehr nachsichtig und haben sich entschuldigt weil das Essen länger brauchte. Frühstück 3x Spiegeleier und Vegano waren mehr als ausreichend für 2 Personen. Frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Kaffee leider kleine Tasse und bis Essen kam schon kalt. Hunde sind herzlich willkommen ;)

Eigentlich wollte ich nur kurz ein Espresso trinken. Bestellung ging schnell und freundlich. Der Espresso kam nach 25 Minuten. War Kalt und nicht gut. Schade. Wahrscheinlich zu wenig Personal.

Das einzige positive war der nette Service. In der Karte steht Pizza, bekommen tut man eine Pinsa, die vom Geschmack und den Zutaten sehr grenzwertig ist. Ich werde hier nicht mehr essen gehen.

Draußen auf der Terasse 15min warten bis der Kellner kommt obwohl er schon öfters einen gesehen. Dann wird die Bestellung von der Kollegin gebracht, die auf meine Frage ob ich gleich bezahlen könnte mit "Schatzi Kollege kommt gleich!"antwortet. Fühlte mich als Frau Ü 50 mit Schatzi bezeichnet echt respektlos behandelt. Cappuccino bestand zu 90% aus Milchschaum. Kollege ließ sich wieder Zeit zu kommen. Zur U Bahn mussten wir dann rennen, 1h für kurz einen Cappuccino trinken, mitten im Februar wo das Cafe nicht ausgelastet war, weil man 46 min insgesamt nur wartet, ist schon krass. Nie wieder Terrazza.

Hatten nur einen kurzen Espresso und der war okay

An einem ruhigen Nachmittag gegen 17 Uhr besuchten wir die Terrazza Bar, um etwas zu trinken und mit Blick auf die Piazza zu entspannen. Das Wetter war perfekt: sonnig, angenehm und überhaupt nicht kalt. Deshalb entschieden wir uns für die Terrasse. Eine gute Wahl, denn die Atmosphäre war entspannt und wir konnten das Treiben auf der Piazza genießen, ohne uns eingeengt zu fühlen. Wir bestellten jeweils ein Bier, das recht schnell serviert wurde – ein Vorteil, den man immer zu schätzen weiß, wenn man wenig Zeit hat oder einfach nur abschalten möchte. Das Bier war schön kühl, und den Preis fanden wir angemessen und dem Ambiente der Bar entsprechend. Es ist kein teures Lokal und perfekt für ein zwangloses Getränk. Der Kellner war von Anfang an freundlich und bediente uns höflich und effizient, ohne zu hetzen. Solch ein Service macht den Unterschied und trägt zum positiven Erlebnis bei. Insgesamt ist die Terrazza ein toller Ort, um nachmittags in der Sonne zu sitzen und in angenehmer Atmosphäre etwas zu trinken. Ohne große Ansprüche, aber mit der guten Erfüllung seiner Versprechen würden wir ohne Zögern zurückkehren.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a young, athletic, broad-shouldered waiter who was not only incredibly friendly but also had a professional calm and presence that you usually only see in Italian Dolce Vita commercials. Michelin-starred service, but with genuine warmth. I ordered a pizza and an Aperol Spritz – and WOW, what can I say? 🍕 The pizza was a revelation! Crispy crust, fluffy dough, the toppings so fresh, it was as if Nonna had personally picked them up from the market that very morning. The cheese? Pulled mozzarella that stretches into strings when you bite into it, just like in the commercial. Every single ingredient tasted like it had its own fan club. 🍹 The Aperol Spritz was perfect! Not too bitter, not too sweet – the balance of a cocktail artist. Served ice-cold, beautifully decorated, and so photogenic that I almost did a photoshoot instead of taking my first sip. 💶 And the price? I would have easily paid 30% more for the quality – but no, it was totally fair and reasonable. You get premium enjoyment here without the big-city rip-off. The atmosphere? A mix of an Italian street café, a cozy living room, and a vacation vibe on Lake Garda. Just the thing for a relaxing weekend – whether with friends, on a date, or simply for a self-care dinner. Verdict: Bistro Terrazza is a culinary bullseye! Anyone who hasn't been there yet officially has a gap in their culinary knowledge. This goes to the manager of Terazza in case these were instructions to the staff. We sat down in the arcades to drink two coffees. The lady who took and passed on our order was quick, friendly, and attentive. The waitress who brought us our ordered drinks, however, demanded immediate payment because (I quote:) he couldn't see us very well up here. My wife jokingly asked if he thought we were running away (62+55, dressed normally). He didn't say anything, just the price of €9.40. I was already saying, "Ten euros, that's fine...", but in this way, I said: "That makes exactly €9.40." Furthermore, it's strange when a young person addresses you directly as "you/her." So if the instruction to pay immediately comes from above, then the employee should be excused. If not, they should be given a brief training in customer service.

Never eat pizza by the window. It tastes like rubber.

Terrible service from the black-haired waitress. We asked for a pizza without cheese due to an allergy, and she told us it was impossible. I asked for a potato with chicken, and she served it with yogurt sauce. We asked her several times what it had, but she didn't tell us. Very unpleasant service and terrible food. I don't recommend it at all; exorbitant prices.

To start with, the food-price ratio was completely disproportionate. My family and I didn't like it at all, not to mention the terrible service provided by the very condescending waitress. I think that if you order a dish without an ingredient in a restaurant, the logical thing would be to accommodate the customer's request, but apparently not at this "restaurant"—or rather, a fast food place. And if you're allergic or intolerant to something, you'll have to put up with it. That said, it's very expensive. Thanks.

No cutlery with our food for 10 mins, brothers food was brought 20 mins before the rest of ours. The flammenkuchen was lidl bought. No check back or any service once we had ordered.

Two years ago, the group sat on the first floor, this time outside, and the waitress pushed together extra tables and chairs so the group could sit. Perfect service.

We visited the Italian restaurant Terrazza in Stuttgart's Königsbau on Saturday, July 12, 2025, around 5:30 p.m. Overall, the restaurant offers convincing culinary quality in a beautiful location, but with some weaknesses in the service that dampen the overall impression. Food & Value for Money: The pizza was excellent – delicious, freshly prepared, and typically Italian. The drinks selection was also excellent, especially the spritzers. Prices are within the range of what you would expect in a central city location – overall, a fair price-performance ratio. Atmosphere & View: The location directly on Schlossplatz offers a very nice view of the city – a major plus, especially in good weather. The atmosphere on the terrace is lively and pleasant. Service: One major criticism concerns the service – particularly from an older employee with dark hair who was on duty during our visit. She repeatedly moved in close physical proximity to guests, especially between couples, even while they were talking. Her upper body was sometimes very close to their faces, which was clearly perceived as uncomfortable. A certain degree of consideration and professional distance would have been desirable here. Her tone of voice also came across as very brisk and impatient. It was also noticeable that guests were not greeted as they left the restaurant – even when they made direct eye contact. While the high volume of guests on a Saturday evening is understandable, the impression should still be created that every guest is welcome and appreciated – and not just a means of generating revenue. Conclusion: From a culinary perspective, Terrazza is a recommendable spot with very good pizza, delicious drinks, and a great view of Stuttgart's city center. However, the service, especially in terms of proximity, tone of voice, and manner, has significant room for improvement.

The ambience is perfect but the conditions are quite unfriendly.

Am "Terrazza" sind wir schon -zig Mal vorbeigegangen auf dem Fußweg durch die Stuttgarter Innenstadt. Es liegt toll an der belebtesten Flaniermeile mit Sicht auf den Schlossplatz und man kann es schier nicht übersehen. Im Rücken hat es den stattlichen Kronenbau. Vor uns spielten Jazz-Musiker live. So eine Location ist in ganz Europa DER Platz zum Einkehren! Die äußere Wahrnehmung mit Blumenkübeln, Stühlen und Schirmen suggeriert das auch. Die Bedienungen waren schnell zur Stelle und kümmerten sich freundlich um uns. Allerdings wird der erste Eindruck schnell getrübt. Das Mobiliar ist schon sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt. Das frisch gezapfte Bier war nicht wirklich kalt. Und nun das Übelste (wofür aber das Terrazza nun wirlich nichts kann): Während unseres Besuches im "Terrazza" stiegen üble Gerüche in unsere Nase, die nur aus der Kanalisation stammen können! Das will man nun wirklich, wenn man an einem solchen Platz sitzt!

We went there for breakfast and were really impressed with the breakfast; everything was fresh and delicious. The service was also very friendly.

I was there on a Thursday evening, so it was relatively quiet. We got our drinks after about two minutes, and our food after about 15 minutes. The food wasn't special, but it wasn't bad either. The pesto was too oily, but the panini was delicious. The portions were decent for the price, and the restaurant is in a beautiful location with a view of the castle!

Good breakfast selection, large portions, and a nice place to sit. But the waiter finished his cigarette before coming over, and there was only a flippant, mumbled apology for the overcooked egg.

I was there last Saturday with some friends and colleagues. It was very cozy. Whether it was pizza, bruschetta, or pasta, we all enjoyed it. Our drinks were cold and delicious. Almost all the seats were taken, but it still moved quickly. The staff was very friendly and quick. The waiter who served us was very friendly, nice, and funny (with a beard and a snooker). We'll definitely go back when we're back in Stuttgart. 👍👍

I find it totally rude and disrespectful. Yesterday we were drinking coffee and then we forgot a small bag on the table, the bag is a decorative bag and it says CHRIST on it and there is also Baar sweets in it because I was in the market hall before, we had forgotten the bag for only 5 minutes and we came back and we asked about it and she said that she had thrown it away and they were in the kitchen eating sweets as we had seen. Although you can tell that it's not a trash bag.

A pleasant break in the heart of the city! Friendly service, lovely view of the Schlossplatz square and a really tasty tomato-mozzarella sandwich. An ideal place to relax and observe the comings and goings of the city.

This was my first visit to stuttgart, the waitress was slovakian , she mistreated us very badly because of her mediocre english , she wanted us to speak german , we are tourists obviously we wouldn’t be able to speak german , she was screaming at us and shouting some words in german , if the restaurant wants you to speak german they should’ve put up a sign about being able to speak german, in conclusion this was a very traumatic experience i don’t recommend anyone going there if they don’t speak german

The worst experience I had in my life was actually from the Slovak waitress. I asked her if they had Bolognese and she shouted at me while speaking in German... and unfortunately I do not know, but some people who were in the restaurant intervened and admonished her that we should not shout at us because we are only fluent in German and speak English... an unforgettable experience. I do not advise you to go to this terrible restaurant

Food is essential frozen and warmed up, especially the pizza. Atmosphere and service is great though.

Black-haired waitress came over very rudely and took the order. 7 minutes later she came back and wanted to take the order again until she realized that we had already ordered. When she was at the next table I said that I would like to pay, she ran away, so she also made mistakes with the next table and slapped his beer on the other side of the table. I asked again a little louder to be allowed to pay, she ran away again and looked at me angrily... When she finally came to let me pay, she became rude and aggressive. Unfortunately, the lady was very dissatisfied and she let the customer know. Maybe she should rethink her job choice.

The staff (lady with black hair) was very unfriendly and seemed visibly annoyed after I told her that I had been brought the wrong drink (Cola instead of Cola Wheat). She had understood it when I was admitted but then probably forgot it again when I handed it over. When she brought me the wheat afterwards, she put it on the other side of the table and ignored my tablemate's repeated requests for the bill. Maybe I'm having a bad day, but that's not appropriate behavior. Otherwise, the terrace is of course directly on Schlossplatz, which makes a short stay attractive and the drinks came quickly

Since we only had a drink outside, I just want to rate the service: Although the restaurant was almost empty, the waitress had a very unmotivated expression on her face and was slightly annoyed. Things didn't get any better when a glass slipped out of her hand while serving and the contents spilled over half the table. Well, it can happen. An apology would have been nice, though, especially since half of my trouser leg was wet. We got a new drink, but were told to sit at a different table because the old one was wet and sticky. Now if you don't want to wipe the table, that's of course also a solution. After 45 minutes I paid my bill and with the tip I wanted two euros back on my bill. “Unfortunately I only have one euro in my wallet,” she said. I thought it was a bit bold to increase the tip again in such a way. Now she just had to run back in and get change. By the way, after 50 minutes, no one had taken care of the sticky table. Service looks different in my opinion.

Only parasites are employed here and if you sit outside a beggar comes every 5 minutes and wants money. When I wanted to go to the toilet, I was insulted by the lady in front of the toilet because I didn't give any money even though it was free for guests. Never again!!!!

Good location with a view of the Schlossplatz (if everything isn't fenced off). The quality of the food looks good and tastes good too 👍 prices are very clear, e.g. around €12 for pasta dishes and pizza from €10. For the two of us we paid around €38. The service is nice, although one lady seemed a bit confused, probably on her first day at work 🙈 In my opinion the portions are a bit small but the restaurant is still worth visiting.

Die Lage ist super aber das war’s dann auch an diesem Restaurant. Die Pizza schmeckt wie jede andere Fertigpizza auch. Man sieht der Pizza schon an, dass der Teig alles andere als frisch ist. Dazu noch billiger Käse der das Fett so richtig rausdrückt. Für Getränke kann man diese Lokalität auf alle Fälle empfehlen. Für Essen jedoch überhaupt nicht.

Yesterday we paid a bill of 40 euros for two beers, a coffee and a Red Bull....unfortunately I only noticed when we got home that they had cheated us out of 20 euros....Unfortunately I didn't take a bill with me otherwise I would tell them something... .Never again !!!

There were rotten leaves in the salad, so we had to give it back. The drinks are expensive and the parmesan on the pesto pasta was hard and old. Overall not a good experience!

The lady and the guy preparing the pizzas were also really disgusting for handling both without gloves!! When did a slice of pizza get so expensive!?

My favorite place to drink coffee. I feel comfortable where the coffee is delicious and the staff is very wonderful.

I really enjoy coming to Terrazza, less to eat and more to sit outside and drink wine. The service is always super friendly. No matter who served us, we always felt very comfortable. But I prefer being served by Maria. She does such a great job. I hope it stays with the Terrazza for a long time! Thanks!

I like to come often, nice atmosphere, centrally located and nice to relax. I also appreciate free motorcycle parking. I also can't understand the critical reviews about service, of course when it's completely full at peak times, not everyone can be served immediately, but they can always be served quickly. But otherwise great service, pleasant, nice, friendly and, in my opinion, surprisingly fast. And breakfast and also the pizza taste good, so I'm happy to come again👍

There were 4 of us here, very nice place to sit. Tables could be a little larger, but sufficient. Service very friendly and quick. Although we were there on Sunday when the weather was nice. Food was very tasty and price was also very good. We ate pasta, pizza, salad.

Personal opinion: You go here to see and be seen. Have a quick cappuccino or something similar. and then it continues.

Unfortunately, yesterday we supposedly ordered homemade lemonade (2 types) and a Fanta. However, these were so artificial and tasted like diluted water that we actually only drank 10% of the glass. The Fanta was not an original Fanta. After a long wait of about 10 minutes, we asked for the head waitress to come. She was so disinterested and didn't respond to our complaint at all, so we just wanted to pay. She didn't even address the false Fanta. She then offered us other drinks instead, but we didn't want them. The height of the outrage was that we had to pay for the whole thing in full. Conclusion: No way, never again. Unfortunately you have to give one star here.

Unfortunately, the pizza to go no longer tastes good at all - for €4.40 you get a piece of tasteless dough with hardly any toppings on it. It's a shame, for me this used to be one of the best pizzas in Stuttgart.

We were only here for breakfast. But I can highly recommend the breakfast. The employees feel a bit stressed. The location is of course beautiful, right in front of the castle. But the chairs, umbrellas etc. are not so well set up now.

Unfortunately, both the food and the service were very poor. We got our food first and the drinks 5 minutes later. Unfortunately, the cheese on the pizza looked like plastic and tasted like it. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait over 45 minutes in the blazing sun for the only service (where you could probably pay, even though there were a lot of other servers on site). Unfortunately not recommended at all. The service was very unfriendly and service was generally very poor. Waited forever for drinks and the waiters just shouted at each other. When we wanted to pay, the Stuttgart City voucher was simply rejected. Apparently people don't take part here anymore or not yet (the waiter himself wasn't sure about that). After an eternity of discussion, I paid differently. Never again!! You should really avoid it. It's a shame about the good location. The city voucher will of course be forwarded and the costs will be reimbursed. The pizza was definitely not worth the money!
