L'Osteria Stuttgart Kronprinzstraße in Stuttgart

The meal itself was delicious. However, the bottom layer of my lasagna was completely burned to the pan, and the sides of the bottom layer were charred. My wine glass wasn't properly polished, and there were still smudges on it.

Located in city center of Stuttgart 3-4min walking distance from Stadtmitte S Bahn Station. We went Sunday evening without any reservation. We were 8Adults with 4 kids and were nicely accomodated. Although, our ordering service was not very fast. Pizza was really good, with some authentic taste coming out of Cheese they use. However, I had to settle with 2 stars less because of following reasons, Pizza Vegetarian was disappointment in terms of vegetables and Rucola loaded in Pizza. The homemade lemonade was very disappointing in terms of quality, quantity and price. We had more ice than lemonade and for that price it’s just not a good offer. Also, we missed a wow factor in that lemonade. The best part was that you can order pizza in half portions. But sad part they charge you for the full price of higher price pizza if you choose two different ones. This flexibility was something very unique and we liked it. Recommended if you like to eat authentic Italian style pizza. Price is moderately high for the quality you get.

The standard menu is already sold out at lunchtime, and the taste is significantly worse than in Metzingen or Ludwigsburg during the week. Espresso is served cold and without water.

Late one Friday evening, the three of us spontaneously visited L'Osteria Stuttgart – and were pleasantly surprised. Even on the phone, the contact was extremely friendly. Edvin served us there, and with his patience, good humor, and fine sense of humor, he created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout the evening. If you love pizza, you'll definitely get your money's worth here. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

After visiting the restaurant in Hamburg for the first time, I became a big fan. We visit the restaurant there every time we're in Hamburg. Quite different from the one in Stuttgart: As a group of six, we were forbidden to push the tables together outside - it "wasn't possible." We were then assigned the only larger table on the street; on the train (it was very windy that day). Unfortunately, even after several minutes (we visited the restaurant with 2-3 tables), no one came to take our drink order. So we moved on. It's a shame, I would have loved to eat there. I hope this was just an isolated incident. (Important: Food cannot be rated)

This is the first time I've seen a similar way of serving pizzas. They're much larger than the plate, and the servers have to reach under the pizza to grab the plates while simultaneously serving and taking payment in cash, which is extremely unhygienic. Customers usually order one pizza for two people, and I don't understand why they don't prepare them in a regular plate size so the servers can use the free edge of the plate as usual.

I can definitely recommend L'Osteria. We received a warm welcome and were seated exactly as we had requested. There's a good selection of pizzas and pastas, and we especially liked the fact that they also offered more unusual dishes. So, not your boring, standard Italian restaurant. We received good service and would like to thank Marko for his courteous and competent service. See you next time.

I've always been a regular there. Very good food... I ordered food by phone and then decided to eat there instead. They said it wouldn't work. I have no idea why. They couldn't even give me a reason.

What has happened to restaurant service standards, phew? Just now, Tuesday at 8:50 p.m., I politely asked a server if I could sit down. The answer was, "Yes, fine now, but next time, please sit at the front counter." The store is at most half full, probably less. Well, not then, friends. I'd rather spend my money somewhere where I'm also valued.

We didn't receive any orders because they are closing because there are few customers. This is the first time we hear this, it's a huge disrespect

We passed through there on a Saturday afternoon as a group of six hungry men and stopped in. The service was remarkably friendly. The pizzas are famously huge. I had half arugula and half canarino. The canarino part was very tasty, the arugula part rather bland. Overall, it's worth getting a pizza with lots of toppings, as they're rather sparingly topped. Nevertheless: for the price of €13-16, the pizzas are top-notch. The drinks make up for the money; €5 and up for a 0.4l Coke is pretty steep. To get 5 stars, the arugula pizza should have had a more refined flavor, and the other pizzas could have used a bit more topping (e.g., the Hawaiian pizza with 7-8 pineapple pieces is a bit lacking for its size). Conclusion: I wouldn't let the fact that l'osteria is a chain put me off. The artisan pizzas here were good (and extremely large).

Great pizzeria in Stuttgart – perfect all around! I recently went to this pizzeria in Stuttgart and was absolutely not disappointed! The food was excellent - the pasta was al dente and very tasty, the salad was fresh and made with delicious ingredients. The pizza was simply perfect: crispy dough, high-quality toppings and a successful seasoning. There was also a good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The service was also great – friendly, attentive and quick. You could tell that the team makes an effort to make the guests feel comfortable.

In any case, please don't go to the L'Osteria on Kronprinz Straße to the L'Osteria at the Milaneo because according to stories from my ex-boyfriend, the service didn't come and my son says so too, very, very unfriendly staff there in my opinion. Tried to order online for pickup but it wasn't possible. The branch does not currently offer this. Last week the order failed to complete the PayPal payment because the redirect to the order page did not work correctly. Two attempts to call were rejected. Thank you… never again.

When I write a review, I always only do so if I am either very positively or very negatively surprised. VERY POSITIVE applies here. We were there twice during our stay in Stuttgart. Once to eat in the restaurant and once before our long journey home we came to take a pizza with us for the journey. All the waiters in the restaurant were really friendly. The food was also very good. When we ordered the pizza to take away on the day of departure, we waited at the bar. The waiter came with the pizza we had ordered (it didn't take long and the pizza was huge) and gave us two cups of ice cream - just like that. I had never experienced that before. The cups weren't small either and the ice cream tasted really good. That was a very kind gesture that made us very happy. Praise again to the very friendly waiters in this restaurant

Not recommended as an Uber Eats order deep in the west of Stuttgart. The taste is classic Italian pizza made in Germany and the ingredients are certainly ok. But it was difficult to judge because all the side dishes were piled up on one side, the egg was stuck to the lid of the pizza box and the pizza was at most lukewarm (and uncut). Because of the size, you can only reheat it in pieces, but it was just supposed to be a simple pizza order for grandma and me. Price with 10Eur Uber discount still 14Eur and unfortunately the delivery was not satisfactory.

Extremely long waiting times to get there (60 minutes until the food was there), not good service. Of course not the staff's fault but more staff is definitely needed. There is no tap water. Very customer unfriendly. Also very expensive. The food and ambience were good.

At the beginning the wine glass was dirty. The pizza was way too hard, especially on the edge. The pasta was shot, tasted (like) warmed up, no sauce, not fresh. The waitresses responded immediately and were friendly. I know other L'Osteria locations, this one was the worst.

Staff friendly, food also delicious but portions far too small. Had the spaghetti carbonara and for 14.95 EUR I think you can expect a full plate that will fill you up, but unfortunately that wasn't the case...

The place is huge and very beautifully decorated. The kitchen is open, you can see the cooks making the pizzas at the moment. The treatment is friendly and fast. They have quite a variety of pizzas and pastas. We ordered a burrata starter with cherry tomatoes which was very good and fresh. It came accompanied by bread. Then we ordered a pizza and a plate of pasta. Oh my goodness the size of the pizza! I do not recommend it for a single person unless you eat very well. It's huge. The dough is very thin which helps to finish it. The pesto pasta was delicious too, and they put cheese on the table so you can add whatever you want. They have Italian beers. Everything was more or less €50.

This restaurant has now been in existence for 25 years. I was there for lunch for the first time today and was thrilled, absolutely consistent, "great Italian concept" and good, super friendly customer service. The young man was very attentive, friendly and accommodating! The food was very tasty! Price-performance ratio fits 5 stars 🌟 and absolutely recommended.

We would particularly like to highlight the incredibly friendly staff - from the reception to the last drink we felt like we were in good hands. A very special thank you goes to our waiter, who was not only extremely attentive and personable, but also spontaneously gave us a little birthday surprise. Without much notice, he managed to organize a small celebration with dessert, candles and a good atmosphere - that was really the highlight of the evening and totally touched us. Such service cannot be taken for granted and made the evening very special for us. We'll definitely be back!

Very friendly and attentive staff, even if it was very busy, we were served relatively quickly. In the restaurant itself, the tables are very narrow and it is very loud in a large room. The pizzas are very large and also taste very good. But you can already tell that it's a chain and a lot has to come out quickly. The price is okay for the size of the pizzas. There is a good selection of pizzas and pastas. You can have everything that you haven't eaten packed up.

It was okay. The service wasn't particularly friendly, they brought the wrong drink several times, and seemed rather lackluster. Overall, it was really loud inside, and it was difficult to have a normal conversation. The food was okay, tasty, and actually came pretty quickly, but it wasn't anything special. Let me put it this way: you can't go wrong, but you can certainly have a nicer evening somewhere else.

We ordered pizza through Lieferando. After 1.5 hours, we called the restaurant and were told no, the order would be ready after 20 minutes. The order was never prepared. We were blatantly lied to, and the blame was shifted to Lieferando, saying the driver hadn't delivered. Of course, the staff wasn't that rude.

I went to L’Osteria on Kronprinzstrasse and had a great experience! I accidentally oversalted my pasta because I confused parmesan with salt. The team was incredibly friendly and immediately made me a new pasta for free. Top service and super delicious food!
