The food was good and the service was very good. A romantic feeling with what felt like 100 people in a room that was 4 meters high was limited. But I just wanted to eat well with my companion. We did that. My Alio Olio were good.

Order through a supplier. The type of pasta was different than what was ordered, things specified were missing from the dessert, drinks were delivered completely differently and then there was a call from an annoyed employee saying that he couldn't do anything about it. A joke these days and completely wrong.

Good place to have something to eat. Taste OK Price is also right. But it was very loud and the waiters were very stressed because of the full restaurant.

The food was excellent as always. Both the price/performance ratio and the speed of preparation. But at that time I will no longer use this branch. It is then overcrowded and instead of at least slowing down the music a little, it also booms in between, which makes the whole thing very uncomfortable. At first we were assigned the small table for two right at the bottleneck of the counter. However, this is used every second by waitresses and delivery drivers (those with the large backpacks and carrier bags). More uncomfortable than the place at the toilet door of my local pub. Our waitress immediately interpreted my displeasure correctly and gave us another table that had just become available. By the way, big compliments to this slightly smaller, dark-skinned employee (unfortunately I have to describe him that way because I don't know his name). In contrast to some colleagues who are stuck at the counter, he just moves around, is always friendly and customer-oriented. (Tip to management: delete this table for two for the sake of staff and customers)

I went to the losteria for the first time yesterday and was thrilled. The waitress with the pony was quickly super friendly and accommodating. The pizza salcicca pikante was delicious and fresh. I'd love to come back :)

Delicious Italian food and huge pizzas.

Ordered takeaway. Ravioli and salad: 1) Long waiting time (40 min). 2) When we got home, we discovered that the salad had no dressing at all!! 3) The Insalata mista only consisted of green lettuce and three small cherry tomatoes!! 4)The portions were outrageously small in a huge box. There were only 8 ravioli in here!! Absolutely not recommended!!

Been to this restaurant about 15 minutes ago. I was promptly seated to a corner of the room and left ignored for the next 10-15 minutes without anyone asking me for drinks or food. Shameful service.

There were two of us here and we found the food very tasty, the pizzas were really tasty. The staff was courteous and there was a generally positive atmosphere. Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back ❤️

Food was good. Service wasn't excellent, while we ate no one came to ask if we needed anything else. After eating we had to wait forever until someone noticed us and wanted to pay.

Very welcoming with a staff that makes you feel at home

Unfortunately, this restaurant has deteriorated greatly. First of all, the doors are broken and you have to use extreme force to open them. You are then greeted with the flippant statement: “You have now overcome the first hurdle”. Tip to the head waiter: if the guests can't open the door, they won't come in and won't spend any money. Quality of service: We waited over 25 minutes for the waiter to come to our table. No hello. No thanks for waiting, nothing. Cleanliness: There are pizza leftovers on the floor everywhere without being cleaned up. The table was sticky and dirty. The service and the ambience were unsatisfactory. The pizza was ok. Will we visit this restaurant again? Most likely not, because at least you can expect cleanliness.

Friendly staff and good food with large portions. Unfortunately the place was extremely loud and very dark. Had to read the menu with cell phone light. This could definitely be better. Otherwise we were very satisfied.

We had reserved a table, but were there 1 1/2 hours earlier because our visit to the museum ended earlier than expected. Got a table straight away. It was always full but the service was always friendly, we didn't have to wait long and the food was good as expected. We were really positively surprised because the service at L'OSTRIA in the city center is not always worth mentioning. I can highly recommend it here at Mailänder Platz. We sat across from the kitchen.

Leider hat sich dieses Restaurant sehr verschlechtert. Zunächst sind die Türen defekt und man muss extrem Kraft aufwenden, diese zu öffnen. Man wird dann mit dem flapsigen Spruch begrüßt: "die erste Hürde haben Sie ja jetzt geschafft". Tipp an den Oberkellner: kriegen die Gäste die Tür nicht auf, kommen sie nicht rein und geben kein Geld aus. Servicequalität: Wir haben über 25 Minuten gewartet, bis der Kellner sich zu unserem Tisch bemüht hat. Kein Hallo. Kein Danke fürs warten, garnichts. Sauberkeit: Überall liegen Pizzareste auf dem Boden herum, ohne das diese aufgeräumt werden. Der Tisch war klebrig und schmutzig. Die Serviceleistung und das Ambiente waren ungenügend. Die Pizza war ok. Werden wir dieses Restaurant wieder aufsuchen? Höchstwahrscheinlich nicht, denn wenigstens Sauberkeit kann man erwarten.

The staff involved were very cocky. A tall man with glasses. We sat down and he came 10 minutes later. I asked for pasta, he said no. I said I will think about a different order and let you know. He started laughing, it was so annoying. He stood and waited. After 3 minutes, I decided to order (since I have allergies, I wanted to read the menu). He left and never came again. I ate pizza, vegetarian, it was nice. Reservations were written on all tables, but no one showed up. I do not recommend

Es war sehr viel los, da die meisten Restaurants und Läden rund herum an Silvester bereits am Nachmittag geschlossen hatten. Entsprechend lange mussten wir auf unsere Getränke warten. Es war alles sehr hektisch, ein kommen und gehen. Die Pizza’s waren riesengross und gut.

On January 2nd lunch here for lunch. We waited at least 30 minutes for our pizza, which had been lying around in the kitchen for ages. No wonder it was cold. Pizza Caprese then the cold mozzarella was placed on the cold pizza. Underground😡. After the complaint we were promised the new pizza in 10 minutes. After 15 minutes we left, the service staff just called out an unaffected sorry as we walked past. I'll never set foot in this chain again🤬

So far we have had good experiences at L'Osteria, but unfortunately not at this location - on December 29th, 2024. + Point: We didn't make a reservation, but still got a table for two people - with the hint that it might be cold because the heating had probably broken down. - Points: It was actually very cold, so we sat there with jackets on at times. We ordered bruschetta as a starter and 2 pizzas as well as a latte macchiatto and tea to warm up. The latte macchiatto was lukewarm - the second one wasn't warmer either. The tea water was also only warm. The pizzas were served first. When we said that we had ordered bruschetta as a starter they apologized. Instead of bringing the bruschetta when we had eaten the pizzas, it was brought while we were eating. My pizza was good, but quite cold. My husband's pizza was also cool and very, very crispy.

The pizzas were, as always, very tasty. It's just the surroundings that made us personally a little upset today. The loud music, the very cold room and the rushed energy in the restaurant made us feel out of place today. Too bad.

Unfortunately yesterday was a disappointment, there was no lasagne and no parmesan for the spaghetti bolognese. But the worst thing was that no matter where you sat, it was cold and there was a strong draft. Not only we, but also other guests tried to escape the cold drafts, unfortunately with little success. Our very nice waiter confirmed that we weren't the only guests complaining that it was too cold. We were so cold after eating that we paid straight away and left. It's a shame, we actually wanted to sit comfortably and enjoy dessert and drink some wine, but it was just unpleasantly cold and drafty. Unfortunately, the spaghetti and gnocchi weren't that tasty either. But pizza has always been very tasty and way too much. Very good service.

Class service. Super helpful, patient and friendly. Not a given with 2 small children. Food: Pizza great; I ate Pizza Cesar - completely different and really tasty. Gnocci delicious. The half-timbered house in which the restaurant is located is simply beautiful. We'll be back soon. Thanks

Leider mussten wir lange warten, was nicht an dem Service selbst, sondern an zu hoher Auslastung für zu wenig Personal lag. Eine unhaltbare Situation ist die Kälte in dieser Lokalität. Die Tür ist defekt - kaum zu öffnen - wodurch ein starker Windzug selbst am anderen Ende des Restaurants zu spüren ist. Wir hatten eher Mitleid mit dem Service-Personal, welches sich bemüht hat, aber einfach zu viel zu tun hatte. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

The food is as you would expect from l'osteria. Good. Unfortunately the service is bad. There is no shortage of staff but it is not well organized. We had to wait 10 minutes at the entrance because an employee said someone would come and seat us soon. We then decided to sit at a reserved table. The food was good. The toilets are very dirty! There is no soap, the toilet paper holders are broken so toilet paper is spread all over the floor. Only 1 sink works. Conclusion: Order to pick up or go to another branch.

There was no paper on the toilet and the waiter left a lot to be desired. We had to wait a long time until we could order something from the menu. In general everything seemed a bit unprofessional and rather unmotivated. Which is a shame because I have fond memories of Losteria...

I've been to L'Osteria several times, but at different locations. Unfortunately, this was one of the worse experiences. Ambience: Modernly furnished, clean and pleasant. Since there is nothing to complain about here, I give it 4 stars. Service: Extremely bad. The restaurant wasn't even half full, but the salad of two dishes we ordered (pizza & salad) came about 10-15 minutes AFTER the pizza. We also had to ask several times for oil, which eventually came but took an extremely long time. It also took a while until we could finally pay. 1 star for the service Eat: Good taste. Not an extreme highlight but price-performance fits here. 4 stars for this Miscellaneous: I also noticed unpleasantly that some of the staff preferred to sit at a table and chat privately instead of taking care of the guests. And no, I'm not talking about employees who have just taken a break, but about active waiters who went to the "regulars' table" every now and then to chat. - 1 star because of external impact. My feedback is constructive - please sensitize your managers to have better control over the service staff. At least you're not a fast food restaurant!

It permeates the entire restaurant like pike soup. The staff is totally demotivated. Eat little and laxly... Aperol Spritz completely over-intoxicated. An unpleasant beeping noise fills the room throughout and when new guests enter the restaurant there is a very unpleasant negative pressure on their ears...

The location is good and the waiter was nice too, but unfortunately it is extremely cold in there and since the curtain from the entrance area is only half as wide as the entrance itself, there is a draft every time the door is open. Constant beeping is also very tiring. Unfortunately the food was not/hardly seasoned. Not necessarily recommended…

The staff was underground. You are not greeted at the table with hello but rather, Ready? Otherwise, the staff here doesn't pay any attention to you. You have to ask for everything, like cutlery, and then wait. About the food: the taste was good, but we found hair in our noodles. We couldn't eat the cheese because it was moldy. When we asked, we were told it wasn't mold, but it obviously was. Appropriately, you could see the corresponding working methods in the show kitchen. Some of the employees didn't have gloves on and then sneezed into their hands and blew their noses before touching the food. Employees can also be found in the kitchen during their break wearing thick jackets and without any hygiene precautions. Definitely the last visit for us.

The food was OK, a little underseasoned. The waiter tried hard. We sat near the door, with the outside temperature being around 0 degrees it was very uncomfortably cold at our table. Opening the door to the restaurant requires a lot of strength. The Sarti Spritz was very good!

Very good food and very good service

The impression of this place was mixed. The staff managed to find a table for two, even though the restaurant was full. The waitress was very pleasant, and we even found common topics to chat about. The bruschetta with tomato and garlic was exceptionally delicious. The pizza was good as well, but nothing extraordinary. However, the lasagna was extremely greasy, with orange-colored oil visibly dripping from the dish. On top of that, we had to wait for it quite a long time (we had already finished the pizza by then). The restaurant was a bit noisy, the restroom was dirty, and the table near the entrance was constantly hit by drafts. But that's not even the worst part. A few hours after the meal, I started feeling nauseous… and, sorry for the details, but the entire lasagna came back up, along with a thick layer of oil.

The pizzas were sensational, the pasta with pesto also tasted really good. We were there in December and sat near the front door. It was very cool because the cold wind was always blowing in. Therefore 3.5 stars for Ambiente, which I generously rounded up to 4. Will come again.

This was not my first time at L'osteria, at various locations around Germany, but this experience stood out because of our wonderful server Lawrence. I'm from the USA, and one thing Americans know how to do right is customer service. This felt like having dinner at an American restaurant, with a very personable, friendly server who actually took care to explain things to us, offer suggestions, and even apologized for a miniscule mistake he made, which is not always the case around here. The food is consistently good, and I really like the pizzas, which are huge and easily shareable. Would definitely recommend.

Very very nice place! We had Carbonara pasta and a large 4 cheese pizza! It was very large, we were not disappointed by the dishes. The service was a little long but at the same time a lot of people. I have very good memories of this restaurant. The price is consistent. We highly recommend me and my girlfriend this restaurant.

I was here for lunch today and sat at the table where 5 people normally sit. I wasn't aware of that. Then the waitress came and told me to sit at a table for 4 people. Very rude. Maybe I came as a craftsman. That would be a difference if I had a white shirt.

Sunday night, we have been served like unexpected customers! Worst service of Osteria’s…21:30 we asked for a coffee and deserts… no service…

The food was great as always and our waiter, abeeeeer BUT, the lady from the bar was so unfriendly when we ordered drinks again after the meal, then scolded the friendly waiter "he should do it himself, she doesn't give a damn and and...." I have to say that according to the service, Losteria is open until 00:00, and the lady made such comments as early as 11:00 p.m. An argument with a colleague happened but with gestures and words like that, it was very, very bad.

Although the food and atmosphere were good, I did not like the behavior of the waiter who provided the service. He could not take the orders properly and did not hesitate to add the order he did not bring to the bill. Afterwards, he asked me for a tip based on this bill, as if it was obligatory. To avoid shame, we gave him a tip despite his behavior...

Drinking is very expensive. Coffee is not even half a sip and costs more than my kidney and without specifying the quantity of your expensive products

The service leaves a lot to be desired. We had to wait half an hour for service. We then got the tickets ourselves. The food was fine. Two different pizzas were then wrapped in the same paper packaging. After paying we had to wait 20 minutes for the receipt and then had to ask the waiter for the receipt a second time. At 11:15 p.m. we wanted to order dessert but were refused because the kitchen was closed. After the statement, walk-in customers were allowed in and were also served... When asked how the evening went, a waiter replied with "yes, 12 hours is enough." When you left the restaurant you weren't even said goodbye. As already mentioned, the food was okay, but the service wasn't really good.

With a group we wanted to eat something quick before a rehearsal. But the front door was so difficult to open that we initially thought it was closed. We only managed to open the door after being tipped off by a passer-by sitting in front of it. We were given a large round table where we could all sit. The service was friendly. The food (I had a salad) was very tasty and the portions were large. The pizza was enough for two people. An extra plate was no problem. Since we were able to pay as soon as the food arrived, we got to the rehearsal just on time. I'd love to come back when I'm in Stuttgart again.

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. At first we were literally forgotten and had to wait over an hour for our food. The portions we finally got were far too small and absolutely not appropriate for the prices. We were promised something on the house as compensation, but in the end this promise was not kept. The waiter was also unfriendly. Another negative point: When paying in cash, he didn't have enough change, so I was forced to involuntarily tip him. Overall, a completely unprofessional and unpleasant experience.
