As someone from Xinjiang, I feel that the food at this restaurant is truly authentic—it feels just like eating in Xinjiang. The laghman is the best, and you absolutely must try the Samsa when you come here. Of course, pairing them with Kashgar tea makes the experience even more authentic. The lamb skewers are also incredibly flavorful and true to the original taste.

Uigur is amazing. Really delicious food, friendly staff, clean and good value for money.

I've always wanted to go to a Uyghur restaurant. My friends and I ordered stir-fried noodles and Tianshan noodles (fried pork noodles). They were delicious! The service is very good. It is best to make a reservation during peak dining hours, otherwise you may have to wait for a table. The business in the store is very good. Will come often.

Many of the problems can be found in the negative reviews of this restaurant. The food was very oily, extremely salty and meat-heavy, with hardly any vegetables in the dishes, as can be seen in the pictures. The handmade noodles were overcooked and hard - and the noodles were forgotten and only served after repeated requests. Service was problematic due to forgetting an order, which is a common occurrence according to other reviews. The payment practice is particularly questionable: the restaurant only accepts cash, specifically for Google rating optimization. In the event of a complaint, Google requires a receipt as proof, which is not provided here. As a result, bad reviews often cannot persist. The review of a friend with whom I visited the restaurant was removed in this way. What is striking is that the restaurant has a rating of 4.9 stars despite recurring criticism in reviews.

I can't understand all the overrated comments. The dishes all have the same sauce and the meat is rubbery. In addition, too little rice is served with the dishes. Price performance and quality are not right here at all. The visit was a big disappointment.

Very tasty and fresh food. The fried noodles with wild garlic and the Kung Pao chicken were great, very spicy. The special dish, which is only available on Saturdays, was a good balance. The waitress gave us very nice advice when choosing the dishes.

Very tasty food. However, despite having a reservation, we got a seat near the door, where the cold came in and new people kept coming in and out. Our table was very close to the neighboring table and there were stains on the wall. When we asked if our dumplings could be packed, an empty box was simply handed to us. We knew the store before the hype, the service was more respectful.

Here you can immerse yourself in a different world of taste. Pasta cooked to perfection and not mushy and completely different seasoning but delicious. Only those who don't like it so greasy should be careful here. Definitely worth a visit

The portions are good... The food actually tastes good... and is a bit spicy without it there is nothing... You have to make a reservation!!! And you can only pay with cash!!!

Tengri Tangh Restaurant is extremely popular, so booking is a must. The food is served quickly and impresses with authentic and delicious dishes. If you love Central Asian cuisine, this is the right place for you. Definitely recommended for a special taste experience!

It was my first time eating Uighur food here and it was extremely tasty and inexpensive. I'll definitely come back again!

Food was okay but in my opinion it was very overpriced for what it was and also quite overrated. I also had a hair on one of my dumplings. When I asked, I was told that it couldn't possibly come from an employee in the kitchen because they wear hairnets all the time, which was also shown to me on the live broadcast. That's all well and good, but I still had a fly in my food. When I asked to replace these dumplings, I was told that it wasn't possible because they are only ever served in batches of 6. But I was still not accommodated, not even in terms of price. Instead, I was told that sometimes a hair could get through you and you wouldn't notice it... I didn't touch the plate when it was put down and was only using chopsticks, but at some point that was too stupid for me and I took it just like that. Funnily enough, a friend of mine had a hair in his food there a week before and then didn't have to pay for the food. Well, that's just how it is. When the hype dies down I might come back again, but I'm no longer interested at the moment.

The restaurant was full, so we had to wait for a while. What bothered me the most was that two people who arrived after us were seated before us. Additionally, communication in English was quite difficult, and the person who served us was not friendly. However, nothing to complain about regarding the food and it's a little expensive.

Very nice restaurant and a nice change. I would like to come again for the noodles. The dumplings were also delicious, but the sauce was too thin and didn't give off much flavor. I would have preferred a vegetable filling, but unfortunately it wasn't available. You definitely have to make a reservation, otherwise it will be difficult to get a seat. The atmosphere was familiar and cozy. We just sat right at the entrance, where it was a bit too loud.

On average, you can expect to spend €25 to €30 per person for a starter, a main course and a drink. Visiting a restaurant without a reservation is definitely not recommended!!! You will hardly find a place!!!

The food really tastes very authentic with a large selection of dishes and fast but friendly staff. I have to point out that it can also be very spicy. If you can't tolerate spicy foods, you should definitely state that.

The homemade noodles are really well made. But unfortunately that's the only good thing about food. The sauces taste somehow the same in all dishes: bland and slightly sour. There is a lot of saving on meat and the tofu wasn't prepared well either. The service is really top notch - very friendly and attentive!

Mega experience. Fresh pasta tastes so much better and has a different consistency. For starters we had fried dumplings (which were previously cooked?) with a very tasty sauce. and other baked dumplings. The fried noodles with vegetables and beef were delicious. Uyghur is definitely something different than typically Chinese. Both the spices and the taste are different. I liked it very much. Admittedly, I personally haven't been to a good Chinese restaurant yet. The service is very friendly and helped me choose my order because I didn't actually know what to order (no connection to the kitchen). We were lucky and went straight in without a reservation, but when we left there were a few people waiting outside the door, which speaks for the good food. What was definitely positive for me was the pleasant atmosphere and the fact that there were some families with children there. The prices are a bit higher but considering that the quality is high, the noodles are homemade and the portions are quite large, it is definitely fair. Can recommend it unreservedly.

Coincidentally, our hotel was next to this place. It was a striking restaurant that was completely full and people were queuing outside. Therefore it is advisable to make a reservation. We had a delicious meal here of the Uyghur dishes. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The tea afterwards was delicious. You can't eat dessert here, because apparently they never do that in their culture, except for holidays. Highly recommended

You can't really complain about anything. Didn't make a reservation, but still got a spot. Very well maintained, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Staff extremely hospitable and accommodating. Top starters with the dumplings and baked filled dumplings - so tasty and spicy. Fantastic. For the main course we chose the fried noodles and the Dapanji, a kind of braised dish with wide tagliatelle noodles (very positive - the waiter gave the well-meaning comment that it is very spicy and also bone meat). Of course, it's not necessarily for everyone and if you can't tolerate anything spicy, it's not recommended. 😅 But both dishes are very aromatic and hearty. You can also treat yourself to Uighur milk tea - as if you had mixed Ayran with tea. Something different and tasty. If you want to have “normal” tea at the end, there is something for everyone. It should also be emphasized that everything arrived at our table really quickly despite being packed with people. We definitely want to go back and check out the menu. A+ with an asterisk - you really can't do it better! Looking forward to visiting our sister store Soupday!

Staff: Very friendly and respectful. You try to find a solution for every problem. Location: The location is small but nice but far too small for the masses of people who visit this shop. I had hand pulled fried noodles. The noodles were way too thick, the meat was way too tough like little pieces of leather and the food was way too salty. So I didn't like it. The only advantage was that it was Halal. It's like Chinese cuisine, only unfortunately the worse version.

The restaurant looks a bit inconspicuous and unspectacular from the outside... Which can lead to subjective expectations being slightly adjusted downwards. The culinary experience that awaits a guest like me, who is open and eager to experience new and foreign culinary experiences, is all the more effective and impressive. The service was elegantly friendly, somewhat reserved or shy, but very service-oriented. The food and drinks were served within 5-10 minutes, which was a big bonus for me personally. The meal (No. 2) coincidentally or for whatever reason was exactly the taste experience that I am always looking for given my love of Asian dishes (noodles), but have never found... taste-wise a palate orgasm... By far the tastiest noodles , with vegetables and meat combo that I have eaten so far. The restaurant was full all the time, and without a reservation things seem to look bad and there were constant guests in front of the restaurant waiting for the next guests to come out. All in all, I can now totally understand this phenomenon after my first and definitely not last visit to tenggei tagh. I will definitely come back soon 👍🏻.

Uighur cuisine offers interesting flavors, but there are also a few points that could be improved. Unfortunately, the pasta dishes were a bit too thick and therefore less pleasant to eat. The price-performance ratio could also be better - especially considering the simple furnishings of the restaurant. Parking is fairly limited, making it a bit inconvenient to get there. However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the peach and passion fruit tea was a real highlight - albeit a bit pricey. Overall it was okay, but with small improvements it could be a much better experience.

We were able to dine at this restaurant for our Christmas party. Thank you boss for that, it was worth every second. The food and portions were just right. As a meat lover, I really enjoyed the vegetables and the dumplings were amazing. As a note: It wasn't because I was perhaps hungry. I ate a pizza 1 1/2 hours earlier and was hungry. Here I ate really with pleasure and overall more than I could. It was fun. Many thanks also to the friendly staff. Absolutely recommended.

As someone who was very curious about the human rights violations against the Uyghurs, I went to this store to confirm what great people the Uyghurs are. I also enjoyed this delicious meal. It was the best ramen and noodles of my life. We drove there specifically from Bonn and my wife asked me almost every day when we were going there a second time, until we drove there a second time from Bonn. I was particularly impressed by the meat dishes and the handmade noodles. However, two dishes were a bit too salty for my taste - but that didn't spoil the overall positive impression. If you want to experience Uighur cuisine, you should definitely try this restaurant!
