First of all, I have to say the service, waiters, and staff are all fantastic people—very warm and attentive. You feel very comfortable; hospitality is clearly a top priority. The pasta and its preparation are very elaborate, and the texture is perfect. They really pack a punch. The seasoning and flavor will certainly appeal to many, although it didn't quite hit the spot for my palate, which isn't a problem since everyone has their own taste, and you can tell it's high quality. The dumplings, which I had high hopes for, unfortunately weren't to my liking at all, but it's worth noting that they are very elaborate and steamed for 40 minutes. I would definitely recommend that everyone come here and see for themselves and try the food; there's a reason so many people are so enthusiastic! Furthermore, it has a unique selling point; there aren't many comparable restaurants.

The food was delicious. We weren't familiar with Uyghur cuisine, but we were pleasantly surprised. Deliciously spicy with a subtle chili kick. Perhaps it had something to do with it being Christmas Eve when we were there, but there was a line out the door, so reservations are recommended.

Germany's number one Xinjiang restaurant! Aside from not being spicy enough (a compromise for Middle Eastern, Turkish, and German customers), everything else is practically perfect. The baked buns are mostly delicious, and the business is booming.

Today I tried this restaurant, they serve halal food. It was really good, we tried 3 dishes. I really liked the " Gebratene Nudeln mit Bärlauch". However I went there to have beef soup, I had seen many reviews about it, they do not serve it anymore and told that it is now served at their other branch called "Soup day". They should really mention this on their website or here.

My husband and I ate here today. First, we had to wait 30 minutes outside for a table. When we ordered, the pasta and dumplings arrived cold. After I finished my meal, my husband's food still hadn't arrived, and he waited 50 minutes for it. We were fed up with waiting, and my husband canceled his order. Unfortunately, there was no proper apology, and we had to pay for the rest of the food and drinks instead of any compensation.

FOOD POISONING! The three of us went to Tengri Tagh over the weekend and were really looking forward to it, as the restaurant has received so many positive reviews. We ordered vegetable noodles and dumplings, and while we weren't impressed with the taste, we didn't think much of it at the time. The next morning, all three of us were suffering from severe food poisoning, accompanied by hours of pain and discomfort. We all had the exact same extreme symptoms and suspect that the meat in the dumplings was spoiled. We are truly shocked by the quality of the food. Definitely NEVER AGAIN!!

The staff was very friendly and offered excellent recommendations. The fried noodles with wild garlic were delicious—not dry, well-seasoned, and pleasantly spicy. We waited about 20–30 minutes on average for the noodles, but they are freshly prepared. Overall, we all enjoyed our meals. Other dishes, such as dumplings or rice dishes, were ready much faster. Reservations are highly recommended during busy times, as a long line can quickly form.

The noodles have the BEST chew. Don’t forget that you can also order an extra portion of noodles to finish off the generous amount of sauce. The cucumber salad is the perfect complement. We arrived starving because we had been waiting for our food all day and had barely eaten anything. We had last been there a year ago because we had a long drive of 70km. After the frustrating table change, we placed our order. From the very first minute, it was chaotic. The appetizer arrived. I was really looking forward to the cucumber salad, but immediately realized it was nothing like the salad I had a year ago. Plus, it was extremely overpriced. The seasoning wasn't the same as before, and it was poorly served, all for almost €8? My husband's main course arrived, but mine didn't. After 45 minutes and numerous reminders, it still hadn't arrived. They said they wanted us to eat together. Meanwhile, my husband's food was cold? They simply forgot my dish. Customers who arrived after us had already finished eating. We were sitting there starving. Instead of an apology, there wasn't even any compensation or anything. We left incredibly angry, and that was the last time we'll be coming back. The owner kept saying they had to run back and forth between the other restaurant across the street. Absolutely outrageous! Your fame hasn't done you any favors. We're going to try the Uyghuren in Cologne now; it's closer for us, too!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. We were there on a Sunday with five people, and it was like eating in a train station. The place was incredibly crowded; I've never experienced anything like it. The restaurant staff didn't ask people to leave, so thirteen people were crammed into our table while we were eating. It was very loud and uncomfortable. They took one order, and then never again. We received a drink, but couldn't order anything else. All the main courses arrived at different times, so two people had to start eating before their food would get cold. When I complained about this during the payment process, they treated me like an idiot and said it was traditional to share all the dishes, which is why they didn't arrive at the same time. If that were the case, the staff should have pointed this out and not removed the small plates to give us more space. The pasta my colleague wanted with his meat arrived at the very end, after everyone had finished eating, so he had to eat the dry pasta. Furthermore, I found the prices outrageous. We paid €13 for just seven pieces of pak choi. There was no attempt to refund the bill for the disastrous service. All in all, the visit was an expensive disappointment.

Since I ordered the same dish each time, I can easily compare them. The flavours were so good in my dish. If I go back to Dusseldorf il be visiting here for sure. I did not have to wait long. I arrived nearer the 3pm closing time which they close for 2 hours.
