I can definitely recommend this place. Great atmosphere, the waiters were always present. The only drawback is that the lamb and beef on my grill plate were unfortunately too well done.

Very good quality food and taste. We celebrated our son's first birthday and every one loved ambience plus food. I would give high rating specially for naan.

We had been coming there for a long time. Food and drink is good there 👍 There is also more choice in 🐟 fish dishes. The food prices range between €17 and €22. Starter soup ranges between €6 and €8. There are also non-alcoholic cocktails.

The ambience at Teja is really very nice. The employees are also very nice. Unfortunately the food was just bad. This was one of the worst Indians I've ever been to so far. It's a shame actually.

Wonderful food, if anyone is in Berlin Germany, pays a visit they will love the place, excellent service, congratulations.

It was very cozy in the place and had a very good experience of tasting Indian cuisine. First of all, I found the snack with sauces very inventive. Respect! Afterwards there was the very good Yogi tea with honey. In this case the tea was very pleasant and had a calming effect. As a starter I had a paneer pakora, very juicy without too much fat. Simply delicious! The main course and highlight was the lamb curry. Very tender, not too hard and very, very tasty. I can only recommend it to anyone who likes curry! And last but not least there was a very tasty Kulfi ice cream. Very refreshing after a warm meal. Successfully! Thank you for the very nice experience! I'd love to come back! Donath

Palak paneer was ok but the cheese Nan was the worst I ever had. There was some shredded "cheese" on top of a nan but I am not even sure it was real cheese as it has no taste at all. Decoration of the restaurant is original.

This restaurant is absolute recommended. The whole environment is welcoming, soft and smooth, and the staff are incredible, the food and drinks are so good as well. Especially thanks to the staff (I asked for their names) Gagandeep, Abhishek, Simran.

The restaurant is very colorful and richly decorated in Indian style. Large statues of Indian deities and traditional decor elements attract attention and create a lively atmosphere. However, the service is very slow: you have to wait a long time even for simple orders. The presentation of the dishes is simple, without any particular sophistication, but the sauces and snacks taste good. This place is suitable for those who want to enjoy the ambience in peace, but less for guests who value quick service.

It was a new experience to eat here myself. From the decor to the dish, everything was a cultural experience. The only other thing I would point out for the first time is: It's really filling!

The service is horrible. The girl who was taking order was so arrogant. Its really horrible to see the weird expressions . The chicken butter masala was tangy and soury . The butter naan seems like heating the frozen ones . All things are accepted if the behavior is good but the behavior and arrogance while taking order just made us sad . She didn't give us bill and denied accepting cards initially and told go and take out cash from ATM. Sad sad sad. Why Indians behave like this with fellow Indians??? Just spoiled our mood for the rest of the day. We are here to support Indians who are studying and working part time and also who are away from home ad working but we expect good behavior atleast. She said there is dessert with our 35 euro veg thali I attached the pic of dessert. Probably it's mango lassi I dint even taste it threw it away. I wish there is negative ratings in google. Coz you guys don't deserve even 1 rating. I am surprised seeing 4.6 rating for this type of food and behavior.

The food is tasty and gets in front of you faster than you can crave for it (and trust me, I was starving). Many options for every dietary from meat to veggies to vegan. Unfortunately there was no salad left when normal food was ordered. The waitress said she would ask if the food would now be served without salad, but there was no answer. After paying more than 70 euros, I didn't get any liquor at the end... It's not worth eating there anymore to spend so much money...

I eat here quite often and I have to say I have never been disappointed once. Very solid work is done in the kitchen here. Boss and service are very friendly. I will continue to go here regularly. If you don't know this balloon bread (Batura), you're missing out. The decoration in the store is absolutely brilliant. Well, the poor fish shouldn't be there now, but otherwise it looks great here. Keep it up!

I came here with my family to try this restaurant. Very good reviews have whetted the appetite. There was butter chicken, crispy duck, mango chicken and the children's curry. As a starter we had the breaded and fried cauliflower. The children were generally not enthusiastic about the world of spices in Indian cuisine, but the restaurant can't do anything about that. For this reason, this opinion is not included in the evaluation. The duck was tender like butter, the potatoes could have used a little salt but the sauce absorbed it well. Full marks, very tasty and crispy in a completely different way than the Chinese duck. Butter chicken was also a hit, but there are slight points deductions here because the chicken was a little overcooked in all dishes and therefore a little dry. Mango Chicken was also great. Unfortunately, the chicken curry was a bit spicy for children with a German palate. The menu said mild, so far no problem. People who like spicier food, like me, have no problem with it, unfortunately it was a bit spicy for our son. The balloon bread was a hit. There were deductions for the service because the drinks came after the starter and we would certainly have ordered drinks in between but couldn't reach a waiter directly. We weren't thirsty, but we also didn't want to whistle at the waiter or actively go there. Still very friendly and happy to take our advice. Price-performance was great. My wife and I will certainly like to come without the children because we found it to be a great and successful spice trip. We would have liked to give 4.5 stars, but that wasn't possible and the little things mentioned above were missing for 5.

I never recommend this restaurant because of their behavior. I applied for a job as a kitchen assistant. They had me do a two-hour trial without any payment and then told me to come back the next day to start working. I went as instructed, but when I met the owner, he asked me, "Hey, why are you here? Uber Eats? Wolt?" I said no, that I was selected as a kitchen assistant and wanted to sign the contract today. He then behaved rudely and said, "Go now, I don’t have a job for you!" They are racist, and the owner was the worst person.

The food was very tasty. My request for more garlic was also honored. We didn't get to the restaurant until around 9:30 p.m. and weren't even escorted out after closing time. The waiter forgot to charge me, since I'm an honest person, I turned to him and paid. The seating is very comfortable and the atmosphere is nice. If I lived in Lichtenberg, I would probably be there more often...

We took two starters and one main dish, the mixed pacora (a mix of fried food), a cheese naan ( but there was no cheese) and a butter chicken. Both starters were a 4/10 for me but the main dish was good 👍 The interior design is really pretty though so I give it a solid 3.5/5.

Wonderful freshly prepared food. We always enjoy coming here. The ambience and facilities are very good. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes fantastic. The staff is friendly and everything is super clean and hygienic.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Spicy is spicy, but not overly spicy. We had the vegetable soup, tomato soup, the 52 and the 99. All highly recommended. Definitely coming back. The selection is huge.

Why can't you just use negative reviews of a restaurant as a suggestion for improvement...that annoys me that people just try to cover up negative experiences in order to be good as a restaurant to stand... now my experience - Bad... The table was dirty, the restaurant seemed cold and uncaring, no friendly and attentive staff. I had the feeling that I didn't take enough care of the guest. Not child friendly, dirty, drunken children's chair! Terribly never again!!! Eating like an ordinary Indian, nothing special that creates an incentive to come back...

I translated from my English. Not a good experience for me. Inconveniences: higher prices than others and no card acceptance Food quality: below average to poor (compared to some other Indian restaurants I've been to in Berlin). Reason for bad reviews- 1. The waiter didn't take the order properly and neglected to bring a chapati with the vegetables I ordered. 2. The chapati he brought was actually a wheat roti, which I wouldn't expect. 3. I asked for lemonade (I just prefer salted) and he said they could give me bitter lemon (which contains sugar). 4. I ordered Dal Tadka and he brought me Dal Makhani. Worse, it didn't taste fresh and smelled stale when he put it on the table. (I make this dish a few times at home so I can feel it) Before billing, I very subtly discussed these issues with the waiter to give him feedback. He started to raise his tone in conversation, made it sound like an argument and started justifying that this is exactly what we serve here because we can't prepare anything like they do in India and most Germans come here and they like this Taste. Well then! They don't know what your authentic food is, so believe what you serve them. Needless to say, all the other German guests were looking at my table out of curiosity, which wasn't nice. The whole thing ended with me having to go to the ATM to withdraw cash and pay the bill. And the waiter tried to be exaggerated by giving me back 10 euros less. Of course he apologized. But at this level of food and service? No tips were given. Not visiting again. I won't recommend it if you're looking for authentic Indian food.

Food tasted excellent. The lamb was tender and the sauce that went with it was flavorful. The scampi curry was also delicious in a creamy sauce. I thought the Bhatura was really great. I can highly recommend the Arjun cocktail.

I was recommended this restaurant by a relative and have never been so enthusiastic about Indian specialties. The service is great, the food is terrific. I order there several times a month and like going there because it's not crowded and the prices are great too. In the future, I would also like to see some of the dishes offered in the on-site restaurant also available for ordering online - this can be expanded a little more. Otherwise, I can only recommend the Chicken Mango, it is simply delicious, so I was about to ask for the recipe. 🤔🤭 Best regards
