Beautiful ambience, great food at fair prices. The dumplings that give the restaurant its name are the best we have ever been served. The toasted bread with garlic is particularly great for sharing. It was great with you again.

We ordered khinkali (lamb) it was disaster. We could not eat everything. And it cost for 6 pieces =21€. Then we ate lithuanian kepta duona, it was okay, could be better. And we ate kiev kotletas = it was good. We have waited for a long time, almost an hour despite the fact we were the only customer in the restaurant. They did not accept card, only cash was accepted.

Super tasty food at not exactly cheap, but definitely fair prices. High-quality ingredients, prepared and served with love. The dumplings are handmade and taste delicious, the shop has a great atmosphere and the service is professional and warm. Definitely recommended!

We were in the restaurant with 6 people and had a delicious evening. The selection of food and drinks is good. The service was very nice. Waiting times are absolutely ok. The price is a little higher, but the quality of the food is top. If you want to eat something different, you're in good hands here.

Loved the food and Plating. Waiter was very accommodating and friendly. You can really feel the Lithuania Atmosphere with the decorations, setting etc in the Restaurant. A video about Lithuania is also played in a tv screen.

Inconspicuous pearl in the neighborhood. Food is exceptional. Prices are decent for me, but unfortunately the store can't do anything about it these days. Ambiance is super cozy. Inside you feel a bit like you're in a medieval tavern or inn. Definitely a clear recommendation, this store is very special.

Super authentic restaurant with large portions, Lithuanian beer and an old tea tradition with amber. The atmosphere was quaint and traditional. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.

The food was fantastic. As soon as you enter, the smell of garlic and dill hits you, which immediately makes you want more. The ambience is dark, cozy and rustic, with lots of wooden elements and great attention to detail. The two ladies from service were extremely attentive and regularly checked to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. ATTENTION: Cash payment only An authentic restaurant – absolutely recommended!

It's one of the secret fancy restaurants in town. The cuisine is Lithuanian although it's basically Ukranian / Russian. They have an excellent famous Ukranian/ Russian soup Borscht. N.B only cash payment allowed

It’s very nice Eastern Europe cuisine restaurant. Mostly Lithuanian. Cepelini and cold soup were super tasty. Serving was fast. The personal is nice and polite, friendly. Don’t be scared of the area. Inside it’s nice. Great experience .

A very nice and unique atmosphere that invites you to linger. Very friendly service and we didn't have to wait long for the food. It was very good and the dumplings were homemade. We will come here again on our next visit to Hamburg.

My wife “kidnapped” me there… Admittedly, the ambience may seem a bit gloomy. And you could probably get crushed by one of the custom-made (super heavy) chairs just by dropping it on you😉. But if you don't let that distract you, you will be amazed by the very friendly staff and the really delicious food. In any case, we were and would definitely come back the next time we visit Hamburg. I have rarely eaten such deliciously prepared duck. There was also red wine from Lithuania, which made the whole thing a perfect result. Five star deluxe 👍

We've been coming there for years. Always eat the same thing because it tastes great. The cooked dumplings/pierogi are simply great. The cream sauce also tastes fantastic, we also order bacon and onions, like Polish style. A clocklike atmosphere awaits you here. Price performance is also appropriate and not as overpriced as in other restaurants. Definitely recommended...

Very quaint, small shop with sensational cuisine. We came here on a recommendation and were totally thrilled. The mixed dumplings platter and the filled dumplings were to die for. The Napoleon cake is incredibly delicious and should definitely be tried while you are here. We would be happy to come back and recommend the restaurant!

The food was ok. The dumplings weren't quite to my taste in terms of seasoning. Delicious Lithuanian beer. Especially in terms of drinks, prices are clearly too high. At the end when you pay you find out that only cash is accepted. Card payment was apparently not possible due to the poor network in the restaurant and a notice would have been posted on the door. We were unable to recognize this reference. In today's times, card payment should always be offered....just because of the location, which is also very popular with foreign tourists, and the prices are not exactly cheap.

We called shortly beforehand to see how long the kitchen would be open today (Saturday, September 14th). Statement: until 11 p.m. (restaurant open until midnight) We were there at 10:30 p.m. and already knew what we wanted to order. But the waitress left no doubt that we had ruined her hopes of finishing work early. But the food was ok, so at least 2 stars.

The service was very friendly, the waiting time was okay, just like the food, but I wouldn't order fried dumplings again, just too dry despite the sauce that was served with it, which was very thin and actually tasted like nothing. The ambience was too dark for me, the Lithuanian rock music (most of it was played) was too loud and annoying, just a matter of taste 😉

There were two of us in the dumpling yesterday. The idea of ​​Lithuanian cuisine made us curious. The restaurant is rustic and quite darkly decorated with wood, copper and leather elements. The waitress was friendly over the course of the evening, but was more engrossed in chatting with colleagues than present in the restaurant. The drinks came quickly and were well chilled. The starters also came quickly. My cold beetroot soup was very refreshing and was accompanied by crispy fried “fried potatoes” (for me the best dish of the evening). The main courses (mixed dumpling platter with mushroom sauce and stuffed potato pancakes with sour cream) were plentiful and very filling, but not very aromatic/spicy. I would have liked a vegetable side dish with it (but that may not be typical for the country).

We found this little shop 2 years ago between all the Reeperbahn. The rustic ambience, the friendly service and the very tasty Lithuanian food convinced us and prompted us to eat here again on this visit to Hamburg. Simply super delicious!

We spontaneously went to this small restaurant and would love to come back. We enjoyed the food very much. The waiting time was absolutely ok, handmade dumplings just take a little longer. Drinks and appetizers came quickly. The service was friendly and gave us good advice. The mix platter was VERY plentiful and we were immediately offered to pack any leftovers to take home.

The food was really tasty and plentiful. There wasn't a large selection of drinks and draft beer was out, just under 7 euros for a bottled beer is not without... Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good. When we arrived at the restaurant there were still two tables occupied, but it still took almost 20 minutes until someone came to take our order. Reordering drinks was also difficult and card payment was also not possible. When I asked for the rest of our dumplings to be packed, the waitress handed me a box to pack myself without comment. But it's still worth it for the food.

This was a gem to find relatively close to our hotel in the Reeperbahn. The atmosphere was dark and homey, very outdoor wood aesthetic. We had no idea what to expect from Lithuanian food, but I think any eastern European or German would find the flavors comforting and the food relatable, though not exactly what you're used to. We shared a mixed platter of dumplings, which was plenty for the two of us. We loved every dumpling, though you didn't know which might be what before eating and the waitress didn't try to tell us how we might know (they were shaped differently so I think she could have mentioned it). We also got a dessert which was a bit more cheesecake-like than we expected for something that highlighted its chocolate cake-ness, but it was very tasty. Would go again!

A very nice and friendly restaurant with tasty food and cosy atmosphere. I’m here every time I’m with my family in Hamburg. Try the Cepelinai, it’s one of Lithuanias national dish. Potato dumplings filled with pork or the amber tea.

We were there for the first time and absolutely loved it. We had to move our reserved table back a bit, but it went without any problems. Very nice staff on site and great food. We won't be there for the last time :)

Rustic little restaurant right next to the Reeperbahn. There is very tasty food, especially the garlic bread and the dumplings with lamb. Lithuanian beer is also recommended. The service was friendly, attentive and the food was delivered quickly. The only annoying thing was that we were forced to leave the restaurant at 10 p.m., even though it was supposed to be open until midnight on Fridays. There were hardly any tables occupied, so we probably had to finish work early. It was also annoying that you couldn't pay by card even though the store wasn't particularly cheap.

The food was great and the service was a bit stressed but friendly. I found it annoying and no longer up-to-date that card payments are not possible.

It was our first time at the dumpling and the mixed dumpling platter was really delicious! Unfortunately, the enjoyment was hindered by the long waiting time. After ordering, we received our drinks relatively quickly, but the food took almost 60 minutes to arrive, which was too long for two dishes and the restaurant wasn't full. After we enjoyed the really delicious dumplings and asked for the bill, it took another 30 minutes and several questions on our part until we could finally pay. I would have liked to rate the dumpling better, unfortunately the long waiting time made the experience significantly worse.

We went to the dumpling for dinner yesterday and were not disappointed. The service was super friendly, the atmosphere is very cozy, inviting and I've never seen anything like it before and the food was really delicious. Sea buckthorn tea is also highly recommended. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Hamburg.

Das Ambiente war urig gemütlich. Die Bedienung auf zack und sehr freundlich. Achtung nur Barzahlung! Das Essen war ok. Leider hatten wir danach magentechnisch echt zu kämpfen. Womit würzen die das Essen nur? Die mitgegebenen Reste rochen unangenehm, habe diese vorsichtshalber am selben Abend entsorgt. Schade!

Das Essen, die Atmosphäre und zum Abschluß der wunderbare Bernsteintee rechtfertigen die fünf Sterne in jedem Fall. Die Essensportionen sind liebevoll zubereitet. Satt wird m/w/d auch sehr, sehr angenehm.

Nice little Lithuanian restaurant where we have always enjoyed eating out. Nice atmosphere, delicious food and very good service! Unfortunately, prices have risen dramatically. For a 0.5 liter Lithuanian beer that is not on tap, €6.90 is quite steep ): The courts have also (unfortunately) been increased quite a bit :) I doubt whether such prices can be justified by the VAT adjustment alone. Therefore only 3 stars...

we went to this restaurant on the advice of the Guide. unfortunately I was very disappointed! First of all, we had to go look for a waitress so that we could be seated at a table. Then the waitress couldn’t answer us in English about how to order and until what time the kitchen is open. after all, she couldn’t tell me in accessible to her language what was on the menu, what the dishes consisted of. and one more thing: it’s the 21st century, and they don’t accept credit cards. and most importantly, the food turned out to be of very low quality, far from meeting the standards of its preparation and quality.

Lithuanian restaurant in the heart of the Reeperbahn, whose specialty is Lithuanian ravioli, stuffed with minced meat, cheese or potato of your choice, and served fried or boiled. The portions are very generous, so we ordered a mixed plate of Lithuanian starters to share, with cheeses, garlic toast, onion rings, small skewers and ham; then a plate of 16 ravioli with all the stuffings and a mushroom sauce. Everything tasted very good, the service was quick and pleasant. The setting was atypical, with many small figurines decorating the entire restaurant; The result was quite cute. Recommended if you are in the neighborhood!
