Beautiful location. Service very good. Food was also delicious.

Just great! Extremely friendly and equally competent service, a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. And most importantly: the food was excellent! We had the 3-course “Louisiana” menu. The typical US dishes were innovative, new and therefore constructed differently, but still recognizable. Perfect in terms of quality, as well as the way it was presented. The brisket is wonderfully tender, with the right hint of smoke. But the best thing for us was the “Amuse Gaulle” - a deconstructed jambalaya to kneel down on. Unfortunately, it was just a small treat that definitely had to be on the menu - it could have been a starter, main course and dessert for all of us! Please keep it up and keep your nice, attentive staff in service!

A 100% perfect evening. We had the 5 course menu from Lousiana and were thrilled with every course. Hanna explained everything to us very well and we were accompanied competently and friendly through the excellent menu and surprised several times with greetings from the kitchen. Definitely recommended to try it, we will definitely come back.

We were here today after seeing The Lion King. I found this restaurant online while planning our visit to Hamburg. The 5-course menu was a dream, the atmosphere was very appealing and the service was first class. We had a great evening with you - thank you very much for that.

My husband and I had an incredible evening at KITCHENS. The service was outstanding. Hanna and Jamina looked after us, which was just a lot of fun. They are restaurateurs themselves and can only say at this point that the two of them are worth their weight in gold. For every restaurant. ❤️ The food was excellent and prepared with so much love. Wir waren mit 6 Personen zum Abendessen. Durch die kleine übersichtliche Karte werden die Gerichte frisch und vorzüglich zubereitet. Es hatte für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Da die Weine auch Glas weise erhältlich sind, haben diese gut zu den einzelnen Menü geschmeckt. Rundum ein perfekter Abend.

It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every cent. Absolute recommendation!

Yesterday we had the Louisiana 3-course menu with wine accompaniment. It was very creative, surprising, with a variety of flavors and really tasty. We were told stories about origins and inspiration, which gave us a really great evening overall. We were completely happy! Thanks!

Food was great and location was very convenient for us since our hotel was across the street. But, service was really bad. They were very slow, we kept having a hard time getting the attention of any waiter, and they served my wife an alcoholic drink when she had ordered a mocktail. Maybe they’re understaffed, no idea but it’s something they should fix since food is really good.

The Louisiana menu is incredibly tasty, the service is very competent, very attentive and completely unobtrusive. The same applies to the bar!! The ambience contrasts pleasantly with the usual chic bombast. Gladly again and again!

It was a successful evening. For special occasions we can only recommend the five-course menu with the corresponding wines. It's a pleasure experience that we haven't found quite often before. Great and keep it up.

We've eaten here a few times and are always impressed. From the creative and good cuisine as well as the service. We'll definitely be guests in Kitchens again!

Nothing more than mediocre. We ate with 8 people and were allowed to order a la carte upon request. Otherwise only menu is allowed. Price/performance is not right Optics great but Risotto only lukewarm (I could/should have said that but I didn't want to break the circle) Ragout for €28 more pasta than ragout, but plenty of it Steak was good The brisket in the menu was unfortunately dry The Fregola sobers up Beef tartare is good but the fried onions are far too dominant, after looking for something I discovered 2 capers... Dessert in the menu was delicious Dessert a la carte - cheesecake for 16€? - I bit back White chocolate mousse was already “out” despite being at the table in the first service at 6 p.m. Everything is somehow mediocre Ambience subjectively uncomfortable Service means Won't be my store. For me, expectations and reality don't go together.

From the extremely friendly service, the wonderful food (vegan 3-course menu, €60, without wine accompaniment) to the beautiful ambience, we really enjoyed it! The room is very high and open, I was a little worried that it would be noisy and it wouldn't be possible to have a good conversation, but that was absolutely unfounded. Price/performance is absolutely justified and we also really liked the concept.

Great restaurant in the Hotel Prierdrei in Hafencity. Here you travel through different countries with culinary delights. Based on the crew's travels, different kitchens move into Kitchens. I was a guest in Louisiana. The dishes were interpreted great and in a modern way. Greatly prepared. And really incredibly tasty.

We had a lovely evening with a very tasty menu and very attentive, friendly service. The menu was very good. For my taste, the BBQ beef was almost boring compared to the other courses. However, that is complaining at a high level. We are already looking forward to the next culinary journey at kitchens.

Es ist zwar recht teuer, dafür gibt es aber hier Gerichte, die exotisch aber auch sehr schmackhaft sind. Wir waren 6 Personen, davon 2 junge Erwachsene und jeder hat sein Essen gefunden und es mit Appetit gegessen. Die Qualität ist wirklich hervorragend. Wer über das Preis-Leisutngsvehältnis meckert, wie hier in einer Beurteilung gefunden, sollte sich die Speisekarte einfach mal vor dem Besuch anschauen.

Was für eine Überraschung! Anstatt der in Hamburg üblichen Fischspezialitäten gab es ein Menü aus Louisiana. Meister Markus kam an den Tisch und erklärte , wie er mit seinem Team die Originalgerichte aus der Gegend rund um Louisiana verfeinert hatte. Cajun, Jambalaya ( ich hatte erst etwas irritiert “Himalaya” verstanden.) und andere Köstlichkeiten wurden serviert. Seine Beschreibungen waren nicht, wie sonst üblich, wie von Chatgpt geschrieben runter geleiert. Der Spaß und die Motivation für die einzelnen Menükreationen funkelte aus seinen Augen. Sicher haben wir nicht alle Beschreibungen über “Crumble” und Saucenvariationen richtig verstanden. Sorry! Auch die Servicecrew servierte mit echtem Spaß an der Situation die Köstlichkeiten teils auf Pflastersteinen oder auch unter McDo Pappschachteln. Diese wurden z.B. mit “Serviceballett” auf allen vier Tellern wie Warmhaltedeckel hochgehoben und darunter war natürlich kein Burger, sondern eine neue Louisianaspezialität. Zusammen mit dem perfekten Serviceteam war das ein einzigartiges Abendessen! PS leider war es so schmackhaft, dass wir die Pralinen zum Schluß nur minimal naschen konnten

We really enjoyed the food (5-course meat/fish menu) and was exactly as expected/hoped for. The courses were very creative in terms of taste as well as visually and definitely not run-of-the-mill. The portions were not overly large, but if you take your time between courses and top up the delicious sauces with bread, you will still be full. The very young service staff was courteous and extremely friendly. Not recommended for those who want to stuff themselves senselessly as if they had a pork knuckle with sauerkraut and fries in front of them. Even if you "just" want a steak and fries, you can of course have that at Kitchens, but I personally think it's a shame for the interesting menu. Unfortunately we were only with you during a city trip. The restaurant is therefore not just around the corner, otherwise we would stop by more often.

We had the vegan menu and it was extraordinarily good (as was the service). We were very satisfied with everything. One little remark though is that there is no real privacy were we sat so our neighbors were forced to listen to our conversations, not sure if they enjoyed that.

The food was very, very tasty. The vegan versions are great! The table service is excellent and very friendly. The gentleman at the registration desk intimidated me a bit with his manner. I now understand one of the previous reviews when someone commented that they were treated “down to earth”. I had the vegan risotto pasta, highly recommended. In the other photo you can see the vegan starter from the three-course menu.

The food was excellent, the service was extremely nice. Small points of criticism: Because we arrived exactly 5 minutes before our reservation, we were treated quite condescendingly by the inspector at the entrance. And the sorbet just before dessert had alcohol in it, which wasn't on the menu. Since I'm not allowed to drink alcohol, I had to return the sorbet. That has to be on the map!

We went to KITCHENS on Tuesday and can highly recommend it. Great and exciting menu, matching wines and very friendly, competent and calm service. We'll be happy to come back for the next country menu!

We made a reservation there in the evening with our family and were given a very friendly welcome. The motto in the restaurant at that time was Norwegian cuisine. And even though we were 3 to 1 vegetarians, we found very interesting variations. Whether we were indecisive about the accompanying drinks/wines, we were advised and surprised. After the meal, each of us confirmed that the dishes were absolutely delicious and the drinks were really recommended. And once again a big compliment to the service, everyone took great care of us and also gave brief information about the dishes and how they were made each time we were served. A really nice evening.

The food was very good, as was the wine pairing and the service. We were able to leave the children in the Rackers Room while we ate. There was a movie night there. They first ate something with us in the restaurant and then we were able to enjoy our menu alone. The staff here was great too. There is also a children's menu and we all felt welcome.

Jeder Gang war eine perfekte Mischung aus frischen Zutaten und kreativer Kochkunst, die die Essenz Norwegens einfing. Der aufmerksame Service, die harmonisch abgestimmte Weinauswahl und das einladende Ambiente rundeten das kulinarische Abenteuer ab. Ein unvergesslicher Abend, der die norwegische Küche in den Mittelpunkt rückte und jeden Gast begeisterte.

Wow, a culinary experience at a (very high!) level, far more than I expected…. extremely delicious! The current theme was “Norway”, very creative and tasty!

The food was great - including the vegan menus. The service was excellent and super accommodating. The only point that kept me from 5 stars was the table placements. We were so crowded between other tables that one would have liked a little more privacy. Since the food and service are more reminiscent of fine dining and implement this concept excellently, the table arrangement stands out again. Hence 4/5 stars. Nevertheless, as with the menu change, we are happy to come back and recommend the restaurant to others thanks to the original idea and implementation.

User Sohn hatte eine Tisch für unsere Familie reserviert und uns das 5-Gang Menü Kitchens goes Norway mit Weinreise empfohlen, da es eines seiner Lieblingsrestaurants ist. Wir waren besgeistert was uns für Auge, Nase und Gaumen geboten wurde. Besonders die Abstimmung der Weine auf die Speisen und die kleinen Zwischenspeisen war hervorragend. Alle Weine und Gänge von Lachs, über Pilzsuppe, Makrele, Ren (Ragout und Rücken!) sowie Nachspeisen wurden sehr ansprechend und freundlich vom sehr aufmerksamen und zahlreichen Service präsentiert. Service top, wirklich gut geschulte Mitarbeiter Vorspeisen absolute Spitzenklasse bestes Tatar was ich je gegessen habe auch der burata unglaublich gut, zum Hauptgang Rumpsteak top Qualität wirklich gut gebraten ein wenig lieblos hingegen der Feldsalat nur mit Himbeervinegrette, die Pasta auch sehr geschmackvoll.

Very nice atmosphere and really extremely good service. The food was good, there is just one real problem: the price-performance ratio is absolutely not good. The prices are absolutely unreasonably high for the food. Even though it was tasty, €40 for a rump steak with fries and €33 for a curry, and over €30 for pork ragu (Bolognese) are really cheeky. In the end, the two of us paid over €200, which is really not appropriate for the store. But you get significantly more quality and surprise in other restaurants. The prices for the wines were also very high. There wasn't even a white wine under 40€, nor was there a red wine. All in all, a nice shop, great service, good food, but the price level is pretty high. A pity!

- Alle vier Vorspeisen waren phantastisch. - Drei der vier Hauptspeisen ebenfalls. Gute Ideen, toll umgesetzt. - Wir erhielten eine Weinempfehlung von der Service-Kollegin, die ein Volltreffer war. - Der Service war sehr freundlich und zügig. - Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Qualität, Menge und (gehoben) Preise passen zusammen. Bis auf einen Ausreißer: - Von einer Hauptspeise waren wir allerdings sehr enttäuscht. Das war umso überraschender, weil sie in der Qualität und Umsetzung so krass gegenüber den anderen Hauptspeisen abfiel: Das war das Ragout vom Apfel-Schwein auf Nudeln. Das Fleisch war leider sehr trocken und etwas zäh. Fleisch und Soße wirkten fast komplett ungewürzt und praktisch neutral. „Etwas nüchtern“ war mein zurückhaltender Kommentar. Meine Frau, die das Hauptgericht bestellt hatte, sagte „furchtbar“, hat es halb gegessen, sehr enttäuscht zur Seite gestellt und nicht mehr angerührt. Aufgrund des oben erwähnten nicht guten Gerichts, hat das Vertrauern mit Blick auf gehobene Preisniveau leider gelitten. Das mag kleinlich klingen. Aber der verlässliche Qualitätseindruck ist – anders als bei anderen Restaurants, die wir über „Taste Twelve“ kennen gelernt haben – eben leider nicht 100%. Trotzdem haben wir uns unter dem Strich bei Euch wohlgefühlt und vergeben 4 von 5 Sternen.

Es war ein echtes Erlebnis. Ein kulinarisches Abenteuer. Wir hatten das norwegische 3-Gänge-Menü und jeden Bissen genossen. Der Laden selbst ist im Edel-Vintage-Style eingerichtet. Nicht ruhig aber auch nicht nervig laut. Bedienung nett und prompt. Preis gehoben aber jeden Cent wert.

Das Menü mit norwegischen Hintergrund war außergewöhnlich. Dazu gab es dezente, aber sehr informative Beiträge zu den einzelnen Gängen. Passenden Fotos rundeten das Ganze in einer besonderen Weise ab. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Durch einen kulinarischen Reiseführer sind wir auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Im Restaurant entschieden wir uns für das 5-Gänge Menü, das Thema war eine Reise durch Norwegen. Die Zeit die hierfür eingeplant werden sollte beträgt 2,5- 3h. Wobei die 3 h das realistische ist. Der Service war zu Anfang wirklich stark, nicht aufdringlich und aufmerksam. Jeder Gang wurde erklärt, wo er herkommt, wie die Köche zum dem Ergebnis des Erlebnisses kommen. Zusatzlieferung gibt es Bilder, die die Reise durch Norwegens kulinarische Welt untermalen. Geschmacklich hat die Küche hier sehr gut gearbeitet, die Gerichte sind schön abgestimmt und wussten zu begeistern. Auch die Präsentation auf den Tellern waren durchdacht. Qualitative Produkte wurden hier sehr schön bearbeitet und mit viel liebe zubereitet. Hier werden auch nicht alltägliche Lebensmittel zum Verzehr angereicht.

Das Kitchens ist ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant für alle, die auf der Suche nach einem kulinarischen Erlebnis sind. Die sich stetig verändernde Speisekarte bietet eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten aus der internationalen Küche. Die Gerichte sind kreativ und ansprechend zubereitet und schmecken ausgezeichnet. Zusätzliche Anmerkung: Die Frage des Servicepersonals "Wollen Sie direkt eine Fläche Wasser?" fand ich sehr zuvorkommend. Das Personal war aufmerksam und hat sich bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten

Waren bei einem Firmenessen dort. Service super, essen lecker aber die Portionen sind leider sehr klein.

Das Essen war super, die Idee, die dahinter steckt ist auch toll, das Ambiente ist sehr schön aber ich bin die falsche Ansprechpartnerin für diese (in meinen Augen) völlig überteuerten Speisen. Man zahlt hier für eine "Show", die "Show" des präsentierens der Speisen, die "Show" der Erklärungen mit Bildkarten dazu und, und, und. Alles toll, alles köstlich, ich gehe von einem qualitativ hohen Zustand der Lebensmittel aus, trotzdem ist es nicht meins. Ich war eingeladen, hatte einen schönen Abend mit Freunden aber ein zweites Mal brauche ich das nicht! Für mich zuviel "Hype" und wirklich teuer!

The meat was great, perfect cooked, i missed a dip for the delicious fries. The truffle pasta was ok, great truffle product definitely, but the sauce was not the match, i think with such a good product they can improve the combination (sorry, i am a fanatic truffle lover). Service and restaurant were perfect. I will repeat for sure!

Kitchens ist DER „Place to be“! Wenn wir in Hamburg sind, ist das Kitchens ein Muss. Nicht nur, dass das Essen traumhaft schmeckt, sondern die Menüs jedes Mal ihre ganz persönliche Geschichte haben, bei der man das Land und die Natur förmlich schmecken kann. Es ist eine wahre Kunst, wie das Team einen jedes Mal an einen anderen Ort auf der Welt geschmacklich verzaubern kann. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch die Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre und die herzlichen Gastgeber am Platz. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und würde diesen Ort am Liebsten NIE WIEDER VERLASSEN!!! Tolles geschmackvolles Ensemble. Kulinarisch ein Genuss im Zuge des Menü und das Ganze kreativ präsentiert. Wenn man eine besonderen Abend verbringen möchte ist man hier definitiv an der richtigen Adresse. 100% Weiterempfehlung.

Essen und Location sehr gut. Zwischen den einzelnen Gängen war die Wartezeit etwas länger, so etwa nach dem Hauptgang bis zum Bestellen der Nachspeise oder vom Abräumen der Nachspeise bis zum Espresso, deshalb für den Service 4 Sterne und nicht 5.

Megalecker, was das Kinfelt's serviert. Perfekt für Weinliebhaber und Feinschmecker. Ich liebe die Trüffelpasta.

Tolle Atmospäre, leckeres Essen toll präsentiert, manche Tische etwas dicht beieinander. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hin.

Freundliches, aufmerksames und kompetentes Personal kombiniert mit leckerem Essen in einem individuell eingerichteten Raum haben uns einen schönen Abend erleben lassen.

Es ist ein tolles Restaurant und es war wirklich lecker! Obwohl es sehr groß ist und viele Tische nebeneinander stehen, war es überhaupt nicht laut. Wir konnten uns sehr gut unterhalten. Einzig das es wenig Auswahl an vegetarische Menüs gab. Daher der Punktabzug

5 Sterne, es gibt nichts anderes über dieses wundervolle Restaurant zu sagen. Die kulinarischen Reisen, dass Ambiente und die sehr professionellen Mitarbeiter bereiten einem einen perfekten Abend. Ich freue mich auf das nächste Mal!
