Cocktails in the bar followed by dinner in the restaurant. We had a lovely evening but the value for money wasn't quite right for me, so no full marks.

A really chic restaurant/bar in a very good location in the Hafen City. The staff is very friendly without being intrusive. The ambience is tasteful and creates a harmonious atmosphere with the calm music. The food is beautifully prepared and tasty, but given the ambience, it's missing a little bit for 5 stars. A little more spice (yes, individual preference) would be good for the whole thing. Otherwise unusual ideas and a nice wine selection.

I can't describe the evening in words! We were here for the first time, but not the last time. The menu with the wine accompaniment is simply amazing. The Tuscany theme is consistent. We had a wonderful evening yesterday in the “Kitchens”. We have rarely eaten something so varied, inspiring and delicious in the last eight years since we stopped eating animal products. It started with the greeting from the kitchen (Saitan smoked in a bamboo basket, delicious!) and continued through all three courses. My husband had the South Korean inspired menu with wine pairing, I tried the vegan wine soup and the “green sauce”. Everything was extremely tasty and attractively prepared and the waitress was extremely competent and friendly. Only the non-alcoholic Column Zero white wine would have tasted better served ice cold (the nice waitress knew how to advise and brought ice cubes) and the acoustics in the room offer little privacy. At least we were able to celebrate her marriage proposal with the woman sitting next to us at the next table. Overall, absolute recommendation!

We had a wonderful evening at Kitchens. The service, the food and the ambience were really nice. We had booked the New Year's Eve dinner (vegan and normal) and were very excited. The kitchen put a lot of effort into creating really great food. We can highly recommend Kitchens for both vegans and carnivores and will definitely come back. Lovely cocktail options available. Great wine selection. The tasting menu was great, the only thing I would have loved is for the brisket to be a bit less dry. Otherwise the rest of the meal was great, lovely experience. Great staff, professional and attentive.

I had the pleasure of visiting Kitchens Restaurant and absolutely loved it. International cuisine is presented here at the highest level. The pasta with truffles is particularly recommended – it was incredibly fresh, excellently prepared and an absolute highlight in terms of taste. The service was also a big plus: the waitress was extremely attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the dog-friendliness of the restaurant. We were there with our dogs and they were immediately given a warm welcome - including a bowl of water that was provided straight away. Despite the full restaurant, the atmosphere was pleasant - the volume in the room was well dampened, so you could have a relaxed conversation while pleasant music played in the background. The ambience was very clean and stylish, which rounded off the overall impression. Although the price level is a little higher, the quality of food, service and atmosphere fully justify it. I can highly recommend Kitchens - especially for guests traveling with dogs - and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Very good, cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant. Entertainment was possible without any problems despite almost full capacity. Service extremely attentive and courteous; Each menu item was first reported upon when it was served. The barista served the espresso and the kitchen served the small delicacies from the patisserie. Von der Qualität des Essens und dem sehr zuvorkommenden Service. Immer wieder gerne! Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir verbrachten ein verlängertes Wochenende in Hamburg und übernachteten im Pierdrei. Bereits bei der Buchung war mir das "kitchen's" aufgefallen, das damals noch das Thema Norwegen hatte. Nun war meine Neugierde geweckt, und als ich sah, dass das neue Thema Louisiana ist, noch mehr. Ich entschied mich für das Fünf-Gänge-Menü. Was dann folgte, waren zweieinhalb Stunden kulinarischer Hochgenuss. Der Küchenchef hatte sich auf einer Reise nach Louisiana von verschiedenen Köchen inspirieren lassen und dies in köstliche Kleinigkeiten umgesetzt. Die Präsentation der einzelnen Gänge war schlichtweg genial. Was die Kollegen vom Miniaturwunderland für die Augen zaubern, zaubert dieses Team des zum Wunderland gehörenden Hotels/Restaurants für den Gaumen. Ich bin schon gespannt auf das nächste Thema und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

We spent a long weekend in Hamburg and stayed at Pierdrei. When I booked, I noticed the "kitchen's", which at that time still had a Norwegian theme. Now my curiosity was piqued, and even more so when I saw that the new topic was Louisiana. I chose the five-course menu. What then followed were two and a half hours of culinary delight. The chef was inspired by various chefs on a trip to Louisiana and translated this into delicious little things. The presentation of the individual courses was simply brilliant. What the colleagues from Miniaturwunderland conjure up for the eyes, this team from the Wunderland hotel/restaurant conjures up for the palate. I'm already looking forward to the next topic and will definitely come back!

Insgesamt: Das war ein richtig schöner Abend in toller Umgebung mit sehr gutem Essen und Weinen. Ich war mit meiner Familie im Kitchens und hatte mich für das Dreigang-Menü entschieden: Sehr gute Austern-Vorspeise, tolles BBQ-Brisket (wie in den Südstaaten :-), und ein interessantes Bananen-Dessert. Dazu eine hochwertige Weinbegleitung mit interessanten Weinen, die super zu jedem Gang passten. Und: Sie haben ein IPA vom Fass! Meiner Familie hat es auch sehr gut gefallen und alle haben das Essen gelobt.

Great concept restaurant with dishes from all over the world. The Louisana menu was first class. Big compliments to the kitchen and to the very nice service lady at the table, who made the evening a wonderful experience with her friendliness, professionalism and joy in her job. Everything was really right, from the nice arrival to the smooth and friendly service to the complete concept of accompanying the culinary journey with small pictures of each course. Wir hatten gestern eine unerwartete fantastische kulinarische Reise durch Louisana im Kitchens. Es hat wirklich alles gestimmt, vom netten Ankommen über dem reibungslosen und dem sympathischen Service zu dem kompletten Konzept die kulinarische Reise mit kleinen Bildern zu jedem Gang zu begleiten. Wir haben uns zu viert für das 5 Gang Menu entschieden und haben sehr viel mehr als das bekommen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und freuen uns schon auf eine Reise durch Südkorea. Vielen Dank es war ein wirklich toller Abend!!!

Tolle Atmosphäre in diesem großen, wunderschönen Raum. Das Essen war excellent. Nur die Cocktails schmeckten mir nicht. Damit meine 83 jährige Mutter zum WC kam, musste ich mitkommen. Die Brandschutztüren waren zu schwer für sie alleine. Sonst alles super. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Just great! Extremely friendly and equally competent service, a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. And most importantly: the food was excellent! We had the 3-course “Louisiana” menu. The typical US dishes were innovative, new and therefore constructed differently, but still recognizable. Perfect in terms of quality, as well as the way it was presented. The brisket is wonderfully tender, with the right hint of smoke. But the best thing for us was the “Amuse Gaulle” - a deconstructed jambalaya to kneel down on. Unfortunately, it was just a small treat that definitely had to be on the menu - it could have been a starter, main course and dessert for all of us! Please keep it up and keep your nice, attentive staff in service!

A 100% perfect evening. We had the 5 course menu from Lousiana and were thrilled with every course. Hanna explained everything to us very well and we were accompanied competently and friendly through the excellent menu and surprised several times with greetings from the kitchen. Familiengerechtes fine dining in schoenem fantasievollen Ambiente. 3 oder 5 Set Themenmenue (2024-08 Cajun Kueche) oder à la carte. Tolle Qualitaet liebevoll und kreativ in Szene gesetzt. Bar im hinteren Bereich auch empfehlenswert.

My husband and I had an incredible evening at KITCHENS. The service was outstanding. Hanna and Jamina looked after us, which was just a lot of fun. Wir waren mit 6 Personen zum Abendessen. Durch die kleine übersichtliche Karte werden die Gerichte frisch und vorzüglich zubereitet. Es hatte für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Da die Weine auch Glas weise erhältlich sind, haben diese gut zu den einzelnen Menü geschmeckt. Rundum ein perfekter Abend.

The Louisiana menu is incredibly tasty, the service is very competent, very attentive and completely unobtrusive. The same applies to the bar!! The ambience contrasts pleasantly with the usual chic bombast. Gladly again and again!

Food was great and location was very convenient for us since our hotel was across the street. But, service was really bad. They were very slow, we kept having a hard time getting the attention of any waiter, and they served my wife an alcoholic drink when she had ordered a mocktail. Maybe they’re understaffed, no idea but it’s something they should fix since food is really good.

Nothing more than mediocre. We ate with 8 people and were allowed to order a la carte upon request. Otherwise only menu is allowed. Price/performance is not right Optics great but Risotto only lukewarm (I could/should have said that but I didn't want to break the circle) Ragout for €28 more pasta than ragout, but plenty of it Steak was good The brisket in the menu was unfortunately dry The Fregola sobers up Beef tartare is good but the fried onions are far too dominant, after looking for something I discovered 2 capers... Dessert in the menu was delicious Dessert a la carte - cheesecake for 16€? - I bit back White chocolate mousse was already “out” despite being at the table in the first service at 6 p.m. Everything is somehow mediocre Ambience subjectively uncomfortable Service means Won't be my store. For me, expectations and reality don't go together.

From the extremely friendly service, the wonderful food (vegan 3-course menu, €60, without wine accompaniment) to the beautiful ambience, we really enjoyed it! The room is very high and open, I was a little worried that it would be noisy and it wouldn't be possible to have a good conversation, but that was absolutely unfounded. Price/performance is absolutely justified and we also really liked the concept.

Great restaurant in the Hotel Prierdrei in Hafencity. Here you travel through different countries with culinary delights. Based on the crew's travels, different kitchens move into Kitchens. I was a guest in Louisiana. The dishes were interpreted great and in a modern way. Greatly prepared. And really incredibly tasty.

Incredibly delicious and the food is really excellent. Great, relaxed service that you don't expect in a "hotel restaurant". The Louisiana menu and its presentation were top notch. The only detraction from the food: the edge of the beef brisket was unfortunately too dry. Portion size was on the larger side for me personally. You'll definitely be full!

Es ist zwar recht teuer, dafür gibt es aber hier Gerichte, die exotisch aber auch sehr schmackhaft sind. Wir waren 6 Personen, davon 2 junge Erwachsene und jeder hat sein Essen gefunden und es mit Appetit gegessen. Die Qualität ist wirklich hervorragend. Wer über das Preis-Leisutngsvehältnis meckert, wie hier in einer Beurteilung gefunden, sollte sich die Speisekarte einfach mal vor dem Besuch anschauen.

Wir wurden mitgenommen auf eine Reise durch Louisiana, wir waren begeistert! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und besonders und die Bedienung war großartig!

Was für eine Überraschung! Anstatt der in Hamburg üblichen Fischspezialitäten gab es ein Menü aus Louisiana. Meister Markus kam an den Tisch und erklärte , wie er mit seinem Team die Originalgerichte aus der Gegend rund um Louisiana verfeinert hatte. Cajun, Jambalaya ( ich hatte erst etwas irritiert “Himalaya” verstanden.) und andere Köstlichkeiten wurden serviert. Seine Beschreibungen waren nicht, wie sonst üblich, wie von Chatgpt geschrieben runter geleiert. Der Spaß und die Motivation für die einzelnen Menükreationen funkelte aus seinen Augen. Sicher haben wir nicht alle Beschreibungen über “Crumble” und Saucenvariationen richtig verstanden. Sorry! Auch die Servicecrew servierte mit echtem Spaß an der Situation die Köstlichkeiten teils auf Pflastersteinen oder auch unter McDo Pappschachteln. Diese wurden z.B. mit “Serviceballett” auf allen vier Tellern wie Warmhaltedeckel hochgehoben und darunter war natürlich kein Burger, sondern eine neue Louisianaspezialität. Zusammen mit dem perfekten Serviceteam war das ein einzigartiges Abendessen! PS leider war es so schmackhaft, dass wir die Pralinen zum Schluß nur minimal naschen konnten

We really enjoyed the food (5-course meat/fish menu) and was exactly as expected/hoped for. The courses were very creative in terms of taste as well as visually and definitely not run-of-the-mill. The portions were not overly large, but if you take your time between courses and top up the delicious sauces with bread, you will still be full. The very young service staff was courteous and extremely friendly. Not recommended for those who want to stuff themselves senselessly as if they had a pork knuckle with sauerkraut and fries in front of them. Even if you "just" want a steak and fries, you can of course have that at Kitchens, but I personally think it's a shame for the interesting menu. Unfortunately we were only with you during a city trip. The restaurant is therefore not just around the corner, otherwise we would stop by more often.
