It's nice, but it doesn't have many features.

A wide selection of dishes. The dining area on the first floor is relatively small, but perfect for lunch, for example. The waitress was prompt and attentive. The food also arrived quickly, even though the restaurant was very busy.

I've been here with my friend for what feels like the hundredth time, and the food is always delicious. A large selection of noodle, rice, and soup dishes. The prices are more than fair, and the service is very friendly. The ambiance when you sit upstairs is also very chic. In my opinion, the best Asian restaurant in Stuttgart.

Update August 7: Unfortunately, the second visit wasn't quite as tasty. The peanut sauce was very creamy and pasty, but not in a good way. The fried roll dish wasn't that good either. The vegetarian dish was okay. We'll see if it improves next time. Reception is nice (you enter through the kitchen and go upstairs to the dining area). Service is friendly. The food is very tasty, and prices are quite reasonable for Stuttgart, etc. The decor is actually nice, but it's a bit cramped, and the hallway leading to the seating area creates a nasty chimney effect that draws all the grease smells up. So, after the visit, you're left with a strong smell of deep-fryer grease.

The food is very good and relatively inexpensive for Stuttgart. In summer, you can sit outside. Payment is only accepted in cash; no card payments.

To take away, we had spring rolls, duck with rice and mango sauce, and soup. The menu is much larger at the restaurant, but you can also take away.

I ordered a pho there today. It looked delicious. Unfortunately, the taste was extremely watery, bland, and flavorless. That had nothing to do with the "broth." The beef slices were also far from tender. With a generous splash of soy sauce plus the lemon and chili that came with it, I was able to spice up the boring pho a bit. But that shouldn't be the customer's job, but the chef's. Too bad... Edit: Pho...sucked... But I either understand the answer or not. I can still cook the pho myself. And yes, I was there and not there....🧐

Excellent food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. The outdoor seating isn't particularly pleasant, though. The advantage: It's not quite as busy as elsewhere. The only reason it loses points is because they accept cash payments only. That's simply outdated. Aside from that: I'd be happy to come back.

Definitely never order again. This is not Vietnamese food, and when the delivery came, the soup and dipping sauce was spilling everywhere in the bag. I tried to contact the restaurant but it has closed for the night.

We were encouraged by the rating on Google that pho is the best, the food is great, etc. We can agree a little, but there is always a "but". I ordered pho, ordinary, without seeing, expecting a delicious soup. What did I get? Water with fat, noodles, meat and chives. Do you dream of great beef, aromatic and super seasoned? Water, beef, melting in your mouth, but unfortunately tasteless. The only taste I felt was chives, if I scooped it up on a spoon. Other dishes, udon with duck and rice noodles with duck, were good, but this bird seemed to have flown through the Sahara eight times already... On the plus side, there is a very nice lady who holds a steel hand over the young "chefs", it's a pity she didn't supervise them in the matter of seasoning and dryness of the dishes.

Nice service and a really good price. I ordered extra spicy food, which wasn't spicy at all, which was a bit of a shame. It was still tasty, but not outstanding. The outdoor seating is very pleasant.

I was disappointed with the experience. Food quality was below expectations, portions were comparatively small, and we were charged €2 for tap water. Additionally, card payments were not accepted in 2025, which was inconvenient.

Important note: Cash only; unfortunately, card payments are not accepted. The beef in the Pho Bo was excellent – ​​very tender and flavorful. The homemade lemon iced tea was also delicious and perfectly balanced – not too sweet, not too sour. The owner's warm smile is a particularly memorable one.

I never understand how I just find this gem now! It looked like a regular imbiss downstairs, but when you go upstairs, it’s a nicely decorated restaurant. When I read through the menu, I can see they serve authentic Vietnamese dishes that are usually not available everywhere else. I ordered one of my Vietnamese dishes: bun nem. I’m not a Vietnamese, but to my taste it is really good! (next time I will try the pho and other dishes!) A lot vegetarian options as well. For drinks I had the fresh lime juice and it it very refreshing! The prices for me are not so expensive, so it is worth it for me! Service is friendly, payment only by cash after you are done eating. Will come back for sure!

We stopped here spontaneously. The staff was friendly. The food itself was nothing special and very bland. It just didn't taste like anything. I had the crispy duck with rice and Thai curry. The rice was a bit dry. The starter was spring rolls. These are frozen and not fresh. The food came quickly, and the service was friendly. The price was okay, but I expected a bit more.

For appetizers, we ordered spring rolls and calamari rings—both were great choices. For drinks, we tried different fruit juices, and they were all delicious. For the main course, we had pho, roasted duck udon, and chicken rice. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal. The ambiance was simple and elegant. We would definitely come back if we have the chance.

I always come here when I'm in town. I think the prices are quite fair for what you get here. Can only recommend it. Of my 5 visits, I once had to wait 45 minutes for my food because the waitress messed something up, so I got my drink for free. That's why I give this store its 5 stars overall.

The food was delicious, especially the sour-chili soup I had with shrimp and tofu. The atmosphere is not great but not so bad that it takes away from the taste of the food. Definitely recommend.

The duck and glutamate sauce were served cold. The duck was gristly = inferior. Half went back. The fish dish was also cold. Spices and fresh herbs were completely missing. We've had much better and more authentic Vietnamese food elsewhere. Too bad. Not recommended. The service employees were overwhelmed.

Price-performance is right. Very inexpensive. Good for families with children and young people. I've been coming here since the beginning, it's still awesome!!!! We are always happy to be there again, preferably Pho!!!!

The upper floor is nice but the food is absolutely nothing special. We also had to wait almost 1 hour for our food...👎🏼

I saw good expectations about this place, but I found hair in my dish, the staff said that it is mine, I only wanted to point out that they may be a bit more careful when cooking dishes.. but this was just mean and rude.. In terms of food, it was mediocre to be honest.

We have eaten here frequently in the past. Unfortunately the taste and quality has deteriorated quite a bit recently, it was OK, but not anymore. Service is subpar, no politeness at all. My companion was served food. When he was finished, we asked where the other dish was. This was forgotten, actually not tragic, but an apology would have been appropriate. Then I see an employee sitting in the dining room wrapping cutlery in napkins. She eats and constantly has her fingers in her mouth. I find it anything but hygienic that the guest then receives the cutlery. That was our last visit here!

We came because of a recommendation. We have been searching for a good go to pho place but we were a bit disappointed with the food. I ordered the small Pho Bo and there was so much soup but very little amount of noodles.The flavor was sort of there but not the richness I usually like in my pho. My husband ordered a noodle dish and it tasted like fancy instant ramen noodles, his was very underwhelming (and 15 euros)The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the seating area upstairs is very nice.

We have enjoyed coming here for many years. The focus is on the food, exactly as it should be. And in my opinion that is extremely tasty, the dishes are very well seasoned with authentic herbs and spices. The decor is simple, the service is friendly. However, you can only pay in cash, so you should take that into account beforehand.

We love Asian dishes and are always trying new restaurants. The shop here was a spontaneous visit. The taste of the dishes was okay but unfortunately nothing special. The service was very polite, as we know from the culture. Unfortunately, it's not a store that attracted us a second time, but the price-performance ratio was definitely right.

The outdoor seating is in the middle of the pedestrian zone, but we didn't find this uncomfortable. The selection, including vegetarian dishes, is large enough to suit every taste. The food was tasty, although, atypical for an Asian restaurant, the seasoning was a bit sparse. This is a good place to eat during your lunch break.

Only 1 star because it is simply unacceptable not to accept card payments. The two of us were eating, sat at the table outside and ordered lunch and drinks. When we paid, we realized that none of us had any cash with us and that we hadn't seen the sign on the door because we didn't go into the premises or the glass front was pushed aside. That was such an embarrassing moment 😲! More and more people have their cards on their cell phones and no longer take cash with them. Food and service times are 5 stars.

Great little vietnamese restaurant ! Got offered an english menu and the waiter switched to english as soon as we said we were foreign :) Very generous serving of delicious food! Reasonable pricing. No card payment accepted though ! Overall great, will come back another time !

It was a very hot summer day and what can I say, I felt like I was on vacation. We sat outside. Okay, the chairs and tables could be sturdier and more comfortable, but the food is incredibly delicious. And that's what matters. A dream for the eye as well as for the taste buds. Just the smell of the food, OMG and so well seasoned. I can only recommend this location. And when we had finished our meal and the guests at the next table were served theirs, we wanted to sit down. That looked so delicious. The only thing I can complain about is unfortunately the toilet, which urgently needs to be renovated.

Update 2024: deducting 2 stars because the "large" portion size is much smaller now. Previously would leave the restaurant full, but not anymore. I can understand increasing costs but if I agree to pay extra for a larger portion then I expect to get what I pay for. Additionally, the summer rolls weren't very good. Not as packed with filling and rolled badly. Hope they improve as it used to be our favourite Vietnamese in town. Will be trying other places in the meantime. **************** Best vietnamese in Stuttgart. Didn't think much of it from the plain shop front and couple of basic tables by the entrance. But there is an upstairs seating area waited by two lovely ladies (reminded me of being served by some aunties) The vietnamese noodle soups were super tasty and generously portioned. Not too heavy with the seasoning, balanced flavours, fresh mint & beansprouts on the side. Really enjoyed it. Will be back for more.

Worst Thai food of my life. No taste meat terrible, my kids would do more with the ingredients..No Thai ingredients, had to put soy on it to taste something. Wantang soup and number 70 noodle with shrimp and meat. The €20 really hurt me

The restaurant offers a diverse selection of Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant is located near the town hall. The service can easily get a bit confusing for many guests. You still get your ordered food very quickly. Despite everything, the food is very tasty and I can recommend it without reservation. The Pho in particular tastes great. I've already eaten here twice and would love to come back.

I'll start like this: this used to be my favorite Asian shop in Stuttgart, authentic, tasty and cheap. I was just back there after a few years (I moved away) and was very disappointed. My order was summer rolls, pho bo and the lime soda. Unfortunately the summer rolls were not fresh, or rather the sprouts in them, they gave off a strange smell. Pho bo used to come with fresh chillies, but not now. I had to wait forever for cutlery and had to tell them 5 times. Unfortunately, overall the service was very poor. Until you were served and the order was taken, it took forever as well as waiting for the cutlery. I hope that was a blip and it just didn't go well today - I love this food! Greetings

Would definitely shorten the menu to get a more clear overview. Some dishes also had some strange flavor combination like mixing curry sauce with fish sauce dip and peanuts with an minty aftertaste. Also some ingredients/vegetables tastes a bit old and not super fresh. Haven’t tried the Pho‘s but they definitely looks to be the highlights there. Place is pretty small and the ambience is more like a „Imbissbude“ instead of an restaurant. Staff is very friendly and prices are also alright. Worth a try but there are definitely better places in that area

We have tried the most basic Pho Bo and spring rolls. The broth of the beef noodle soup, which is the soul of the soup, was clear and tasty but lacked the complexity we were looking for. Understood there are different recipes among various regions in Vietnam. The spring rolls were crispy and freshly fried and tasted fine. They have 2 sizes for the noodle soup and we had the small one as we were not too hungry. But it may not be enough as a normal meal. Suggest you either order the big one or have other side dishes. Overall, the meal has been pleasant but the dishes did not leave too strong an impression that would entice me to go back.

The ground floor was not the best looking one, even looking like your average asian takeaway, but once you go upstairs, it is way better. Food is good, even though we had to wait a bit more than usual. Also, they don't take cards when we were there so get some cash prepared

We came here on the recommendation of a friend. At first we were a bit confused because at first glance the restaurant looked more like a snack bar. There are enough seats on the first floor so that we were able to eat here for Saturday lunch. We were very impressed by the delicious, beautifully presented and comparatively cheap food and the friendly service! If we were in Stuttgart more often, we would definitely come here a few more times.

I had Pho Bo here and the food quality is comparable to restaurants in Vietnam. I also enjoyed the friendly service from the staffs here. It was enjoyable experience overall. I will introduce this place and come back with my friends and colleagues in the future 😊

The seating is on the upper floor. 🥈 The service and behavior of the staff were acceptable. ❌ In 2023, card payments are still not possible here. 🥈 The preparation time was reasonable.

Landed in Stuttgart after some crazy weather, we were craving something soupy and comforting. We came across this little joint, which we didn’t know was a 2 story place. It looks more decorative and cozy upstairs with a cute bartender working upstairs. I had Bun Bo Hue, cafe sua da ( Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk -iced) and Bò sốt vang ( I had no idea what it was until it came out, it was Bò kho ( which is beef stew is what Im known it for )the meat was a little tough and hard to chew. Bun bo Hue was good, missing a few ingredients here and there but it’s doable if you want a hot spicy soupy beef dish- worth the try. I also had cafe sua da and it was only ok to me. It might’ve tasted a bit different for me as far as the coffee , a bit powdery for my after taste. Overall nice experience. We’ll definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

Optisch eher unscheinbar,aber völlig o.k.; dies ist sekundär,denn das Essen ist exzellent. Phantastische vietnamesische Gerichte. Die Suppen sind super lecker und schmecken wie in Asien. Gerne immer wieder,wenn ich in Stuttgart bin.

We had lunch at Tay Ho last Sunday. The service was exceptional. When the staff noticed we were speaking English (one Korean person in the group), they offered an English menu without hesitation. All of us chose items from the Vietnamese specialties section (Pho Bo, Mi Tom Tron, Bun Ca, Pho Bo Sot Vang) and we were highly satisfied with the flavor and consistency of our food. Also, food and drinks were served quickly. We'll definitely come back on a regular basis! 🥰

Unscheinbarer Asiate mit gutem Essen. Von außen und innen erscheint das Restaurant eher mäßig. Alles ist der Basic aber das Essen schmeckt jedes Mal super. Die Preise sind auch super fair und der Service recht simpel aber erledigt den Job. Für einen sehr fairen Preis kann man hier super asiatisch essen, definitiv eine Empfehlung!
