Near Richard-von-Weizsäcker-Platz, somewhat hidden, is this really great location with authentic Greek cuisine. The large outdoor area in particular invites you to relax and unwind in the summer months. Although there is room for a lot of guests, the tables are set up in such a way that it doesn't feel cramped or uncomfortable in any way. Due to the high demand, a reservation is strongly recommended. The service staff is hospitable and courteous and was never intrusive. The menu is manageable and not exactly cheap, but there is still no shortage of Greek specialties. I would have been very happy to have an ouzo on the house as a farewell, which I think is typical in such restaurants, but you can't have everything. Everything was perfect and I will definitely come back.

The Taverne Platia in Berlin Schöneberg is one of the best Greek restaurants I know. The food tastes exactly like you would on holiday in Crete. Everything is freshly cooked and sensationally prepared. The service is great and the wines are excellent too. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the upscale range and is significantly more expensive than the average Greek restaurant around the corner, but it's worth every cent. Reservations are essential, even during the week, as demand is very high. In summer you can sit outside, which makes the experience even more comfortable. From now on, Taverne Platia is my favorite Greek restaurant in Berlin!

We've been here twice, and every time we loved the food! We tried several different dishes, and so far we've enjoyed each and every one of them. Sorry for not sharing any pictures. The food looked so good that we all jumped in before I had a chance to take a pic! The outstanding dish: Grilled Calamari! Runner up: zucchini balls.

I was here with a large group recently, I guess over 20 people, and everything was truly top level. I very much enjoyed the food, and they took good care of those with allergies and other dietary requirements. The service truly stood out.

A surprising experience: the beautiful backyard with an almost romantic city atmosphere. The exceptional dishes with very solid quality. The charming, bustling group of waiters who absolutely had everything under control. We liked all of that. Only - the food came a little quickly as the house was full. Barely five minutes after ordering, fried and grilled calamari were already on the table. How is that possible? We would have liked to have had a little gourmet break beforehand.

We like to come here again and again when we want to eat good Greek food. The concept with lots of small dishes is exactly my thing, so you can try lots of delicious things. The service is always very nice and friendly, many greetings to the waiters!

Excellent Greek restaurant near Akazienkiez. The Bifteki is really a dream and I haven't had such a good meal myself in Greece. The drink selection is very good and the service is very professional and child-friendly. It is very pleasant on the terrace, especially in summer.

If you want to experience the feeling of being a member of the Hells Angels, then this is the place for you. The crowd certainly takes some getting used to, but the food and service are truly exceptional. The parties here are also a real highlight and definitely worth a visit.

This backyard tavern seems to appeal to a more young and specific crowd. We sat outside under the closed awning. The seating is very tight! However, nothing compared to the interior. It gives the impression that you are sitting on long benches in a beer tent. The service was very attentive and quick. The food good. I definitely miss the family atmosphere here. This is more of a party than a cozy “Greek next door”. When people thundered into the backyard with their Lamborghinis and Ferraris, it was really too much for me! By the way, finding parking spaces is a disaster (except for the people selected above).

As always everything is perfect

Unusual Greek tavern with the possibility of eating inside and outside. Unusual because at a certain point in the evening the atmosphere in the internal room changes radically, the music turns up and the lights go down! If you don't have "a night out" as your goal, I recommend eating out, also because people smoke inside. The food is very good and is served with generous portions. We paired it with a bottle of Greek wine and were satisfied. The staff is also very courteous and helpful.

A unique place that is worth visiting with a group, namely a group of relatives or friends on Friday or Saturday. It's better to book in advance, of course. You seem to be sitting eating, talking, drinking, and then closer to about 21, general fun and dancing begins, almost suddenly, but that’s why it’s even cool 🙌🏻 The only strong drawback is that they start smoking in the establishment, it stings their eyes 👀, although this is of course prohibited 🚫, but no one cares anymore and no one controls it 😏

Excellent food, friendly and attentive service, and a nice atmosphere! I got a mixed grill plate with a choice of sides (salad, Greek fried potatoes or rice), and the meat was perfectly done! So yummy! They also had a large selection of small plates to share on the menu. We got a complimentary basket of bread beforehand too. We tried a bottle of the house red wine, which was very good, and the waiter was very attentive in refilling our glasses. We also got a delicious complimentary ouzo with the bill. Prices for some items are a little higher than "your average" Greek place, but it's worth it because the food is way above average 😏 The entrance is off of the street (walk through the archway on the street where the Postamt is) in a back courtyard. Got a table without a reservation, but that was because we got there when they opened. At prime time for dinner they filled up, so reservations are definitely recommended. They have am outside area that's closed off and heated amply even in cold temperatures, which is where we sat. Recommended!

The food and drinks were very tasty, unfortunately there are no advertised vegan dishes. The service is an absolute disaster: food wasn't brought anywhere near the same time, the plates were simply taken away even though you weren't finished, no further questions were asked about drinks, the staff is very unfriendly (as long as you're not a regular or the bosses or that If you know the staff well, you will be treated as a second class guest), drinks spilled on guests will be dismissed without any consideration towards the guest. The ambience is terrible: music too loud, hallways too narrow, no room for movement, toilets too small for the possible number of guests. Conclusion: not recommended for a cozy get-together and a nice meal!

Super Tasty Food, the Bifteki was TOP. Inside is also warm and there is enough space, which is not the case with many other restaurants in Berlin.

The taste itself... It was my first time eating Greek food and it was very delicious. The meat was moist and the small squid was tasty and good... The location was hidden so it felt private and I liked it! And all the staff were friendly 💛 The bread that came as standard was also delicious.. I will go again in the summer..

Best greek restaurant in Berlin

One of the best restaurants in terms of food quality that I visited in Berlin. Fantastic Mediterranean cuisine, nice and fast staff. The evening program with loud music has a great atmosphere, but the space is very cramped (visited on a Saturday). The only downside is that there is only one toilet for the entire restaurant. Overall, however, I rate it 5+ and definitely recommend visiting.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, der Service leider nicht . Auch das sehr-nennen wir es mal „lautstarke“ Publikum an unserem Nebentisch, hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir es hier nicht noch einmal versuchen

Denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude. Das gesamte Areal wurde ab 1901 als Postamt errichtet.

Sehr nettes Lokal mit nicht typisch griechischer Küche. Bedienung aufmerksam und nett. Etwas gehobene Preisklasse aber auf alle Fälle einen Besuch wert.

Heute spontan reserviert und sehr positiv überrascht! Die Kellner/innen dort haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren sehr gastfreundlich gewesen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Über den Service kann ich nur eins sagen; hervorragend und super schnell. Immer wieder gerne bei euch. Danke!

Wir waren wochentags zu unserer Weihnachtsfeier da.....gegen 18:00 war es noch sehr leer im Platia....was sich schnell geändert hat...alle Plätze waren bald belegt...denke Reservierung oder vorige Anfrage ob es einen freien Tisch gibt wären angebracht. Bin durch den Terrasseneingang reingegangen...was etwas seltsam war....weil es unübersichtlich ist vom Hof aus wenn man zum ersten Mal hier ist...Der gesamte Gastraum ist mit den gleichen Tischen und Stühlen ausgestattet, die beliebig zu langen Tafeln oder Einzeltischen arrangiert werden können. Praktisch....aber die Stühle fand ich wirklich extrem unbequem 😱. ...Die Sitz-und Platzqualität allgemein....Wir waren circa 20 Personen und haben an einer langen Tafel platzgenommen...das war allgemein sehr beengt.... Ellenbogen an Ellenbogen mit seinen Tischnachbarn....die Wand im Rücken....ein Tischbein am Bein🙄 dann noch die Winterkleidung über der Stuhllehne und meine Tasche.....und mein Hümdchen auf dem Schoß ( aber schön, dass man sein Hündchen mitnehmen darf....😘) ....glaube wäre länger geblieben wenn ich bequemer gesessen hätte ....Und als ich auf die Toilette musste... mussten alle aus der Reihe aufstehen und aus dem Tischbeteich weggehen damit ich durch konnte...😖 Wir haben in unserer Gruppe eher Hauptgerichte gegessen -ich hatte Hähnchenspieß mit Kartoffeln und meins war wirklich sehr lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet-aber glaube, wenn ich nochmal *privat* herkomme würde ich eher mehrere kleine Speisen wählen...vegetarisch und "was aus dem Meer*...Die Speisenauswahl gefällt mir sehr gut... Besonders weil es mal kein Gyros ist👍 Glaube hier ist ein perfekter Ort für Drinks ( grosse Getränkeauswahl vorhanden) und kleine Speisen....wenn man zusammensitzen, sich unterhalten oder trinken und feiern will. Gut auch für größere Gruppen oder Veranstaltungen geeignet. Der Geräuschpegel war auch ziemlich hoch-mich persönlich stört das nicht🤷🏼‍♀️.....Für mich kein Restaurant wo man mit seinen Kindern hingeht.....eher Feierlocation...Kann es mir hier im Sommer noch besser vorstellen. Service war umsichtig und mir hat es sehr gefallen, dass ich gefragt wurde ob ich mein restliches Essen mitnehmen möchte (war noch fast die Hälfte übrig weil ich schon eine Vorspeise und Brot hatte)...schmeiße Essen grundsätzlich nicht gerne weg und manchmal ist es peinlich im Restaurant zu fragen🙄....also danke für diese Aufmerksamkeit 😘

Der Laden ist optimal zum trinken und feiern. Leider ist das Essen nicht so optimal für meinen Geschmack, was griechisches Essen anbelangt. Aber das Ambiente und die Gäste sind der Hammer. Man wird nicht angegraben, gut umsorgt als gar, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral, etwas versteckt. Die Security sind sehr freundlich. Die Musik ist super und das Tanz feeling der Hammer, da es inzwischen. Sehr schwierig ist irgendwo in Berlin cool zu tanzen.
