Wonderful experience! The food was excellent but it is the manager who makes this place a delight! Sorry no food pictures but we thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops and pork cutlets with hollandaise. The Greek salad was excellent and the ouzo was flowing!

We didn't walk in spontaneously, a large restaurant near the zoo. Lots of tables, there is a Greek atmosphere, but the food is tasteless, far too little seasoned and fried potato slices with a spoonful of garlic paste on top are not garlic potatoes but fried potato slices with a spoonful of garlic paste on top! Drinks are too expensive and the food too expensive for what you get unfortunately

Despite its proximity to the street, the restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space to linger. There was an ouzo before and after the meal, which is another positive thing. The price/performance ratio is neutral for Berlin standards. What should be mentioned negatively is that the gyros were not crispy and were only served lukewarm and poorly seasoned. The fries weren't completely done either. My partner's dish (chicken with rice) was delicious, but the rice wasn't convincing. When paying the bill, the waitress naturally accepted a tip; i.e. the change was not returned. That is not how it works! Conclusion: Worth a visit for holidaymakers passing through if the cuisine is a little better.

2024-07-27. We ended our pub crawl at this pub and it was a very nice and polite staff who went the extra mile for us. We each had a wießbier which tasted very good! We would love to come here again!

Onderbemand restaurant zonder structuur. We bestelden wijn toen we het hoofdgerecht kregen, maar die is er nooit gekomen. Toen we de rekening vroegen wou het meisje alsnog het gevraagde karafje brengen, nee dank u. Veel te grote kaart, dus het eten kan onmogelijk vers zijn. Dat getuigen ook de gerechten die we kregen. Opgewarmde diepvriesgroenten zonde enige smaak met zielige scampi. Alles lijkt wel uit de grootkeuken van het ziekenhuis aan de overkant te komen. Beslist een no go in de toekomst!

I usually give this place five stars. Unfortunately, the excellent permanent staff is not there. Today the regiment is taken over by a kind of unsympathetic bouncer type who doesn't have the place under control. My food was cold, I had to return it to the kitchen. It was then prepared again. The restaurant is only 10% full, but the employees act as if they have a lot to do. As I said, it's much, much better when the permanent staff is there. Unfortunately the owner isn't there today either. Last Saturday this bouncer turned us away even though the restaurant was empty on Saturday evening. I had visitors from Belgium and there were eight of us guests. Apparently there was no room for us, even though the place was completely empty. The “bouncer” turned us away with the argument that the seats were reserved. Which of course wasn't true. However, I can understand that the permanent staff sometimes need vacation. However, it would be advisable to take company holidays and not leave the restaurant in the hands of amateurs. No star 🌟 for the service today. Unfortunately

The food was very expensive but the meat tasted cheap. The service was extremely slow and unresponsive. Also they refused to give us tap water.

Everything takes forever, waitress, some of whom only speak English, no ice cubes available, main course and starter came together, no spices at the table, an absolute mass processing. There's no way I'm coming back

I recently visited the Greek restaurant “Ja, Niko, ja” near the Ku’damm and overall I was very satisfied. The shop is good, even if it doesn't have much to do with a Greek atmosphere. Nevertheless, everything was nice and great. The food was also good and quite bearable. Overall, a positive experience that I can only recommend.

The Greek barbecue restaurant across from the hotel serves delicious grilled lamb chops. You can take bus number 200 to reach the doorstep, and for three main courses and three drinks, it only costs 80 euros, which I think it offers great value.

Went there spontaneously today. Ambience and service were okay. Ordered and food was at the table within 10 minutes, which cannot be interpreted as freshly prepared. The gyros was probably from the day before, unseasoned, not crispy, dry and was only lukewarm. Fries well... Tzaziki not worth mentioning. Sorry, that could be better.

Worst Greek Restaurant. Bad service and bad food. Ordered something else and received something else.

Super friendly staff. Gluten-free food was discussed with us directly on the menu. A lot of things were possible gluten-free. Outside area directly on a dead end between the houses. Unfortunately I was very disappointed, the homemade tzatziki was wonderful, but afterwards I was served cheap frozen goods that were carelessly prepared. I had to leave the food behind. Instead of puff pastry there was dry biscuit dough (cheap goods). When I pointed this out in a friendly manner, I was casually replied: "It probably wasn't to your taste. No apology came, just dirty looks.

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. Diverse Ouzo auf das Haus. Essen war gut. Wir waren für die EM in Berlin. Der Chef sagte, wenn unsere Mannschaft gewinnen sollte, sollen wir wieder kommen und er offeriere uns Getränke. Er hat Wort gehalten, nach dem Sieg unserer Mannschaft hat er uns eingeladen. Sehr nett!

The beans were dry burnt and awful and they refused to take them off the bill. They said that i ate them even though I clearly had not .

Came on a Tuesday evening. Waited for 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. They forgot to bring our drinks so we sat at the table for almost an hour with no food or drink. Ordered the filet platter- meat was cooked well but was bland in flavor. The best part of the meal was the coke zero. Also took another 20 minutes to pay. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

No Niko... Really not... We were at Ja Niko Ja two weeks ago. My girlfriend and I ordered an appetizer plate and wanted to share it. What was brought to us was the worst food I have ever had from a Greek. The plate consisted of some not tasty dips, canned grape leaves and in the middle a large portion of broad beans in canned tomato sauce... Cold! It didn't taste good at all. There was also a pitiful portion of bread. There were four people in service that evening and the restaurant was not very busy. Nevertheless, all four service people completely ignored us. We sat on the terrace. The waiters and waitresses were around us regularly. But only for smoking or playing on their cell phones. My girlfriend and I didn't eat any more because the food was really unappetizing. After almost an hour a waiter finally came to us, although he was friendly, our mood was already in the basement. We put the plate back and didn't order any more main courses. At least the ladies and gentlemen there probably knew what they had served us, because the mixed desolation of starters no longer appeared on the bill. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant as it is currently run.

Gyros are soggy, certainly haven't seen a grill in the last three weeks, nor have the fries a deep fryer. The waiter can also pick up dishes just by number, that says it all.

Als Stammgäste in griechischen Restaurants, haben wir eine ganz gute Idee was uns erwarten sollte. Hier wurden wir allerdings mal überrascht, leider nicht positiv. Die Bedienung ist etwas hektisch und forsch, wohl fühlt man sich da nicht. Das ist aber weniger das Problem, wenn das Essen dann passt. Auf dem Foto sehen Sie eine Platte für 2 Personen zu schlanken 70€. Satt macht die sicherlich, da etwa ein halbes Kilo Reis drauf liegt. Zum Glück hatten wir die Kritharaki statt der anderen Beilage (Knoblauchkartoffeln meine ich) bestellt. Den Reis konnte man schwerlich essen, Al dente wäre eine freundliche Umschreibung für den trockenen Haufen. Als Gemüse gab es 2 Häufchen Karottenraspel, leider waren die auch schon ausgetrocknet. Das Fleisch bestand aus 2x Rind, 2xLammkotelett , 2x Hähnchenbrust und 2x Bifteki. Lamm fettig aber Ok, Huhn ok, Rind zäh und trocken, Bifteki für mich Ok, für meine Frau nicht. Sosen oder Tzatziki gibt es zu der Platte nicht , jedoch einen Bauernsalat, der von der Größe her eher an Bauernsalat für 1 Person erinnert. Fassen wir zusammen, der Laden lebt vom gegenüberliegenden Hotel und Touris, so kommt dann auch der Schnell rein- Schnell raus Service , der Preis und die Qualität zustande. Für uns der schlimmste Reinfall seit Jahren. Wir hatten uns schon gewundert warum im ( ich glaube korsischen) Lokal nebenan soviel mehr los war.

Good place, located just in front of IHG hotel, and close to Tiergarten park and zoo. Pita and cheeses are good and well-cooked, found other choices really over-seasoned. Anyway a good choice when in the area

Rather below average. I was here for the first time today, also because of the many decent reviews. Unfortunately it wasn't the case that I can recommend it: - Most of the service only spoke English and was quite disorientating - the starter came before the drinks - the empty plates were ignored for about 15 minutes - I had to wait over 50 (!) minutes for the main course because the service had forgotten to order the food in the kitchen. It was a Sunday evening and it wasn't crowded. There were a few tables outside that weren't occupied, but there were hardly any people inside. So it wasn't due to stress. The food itself was mixed: the side salad was very fresh, iceberg lettuce, some coleslaw and chopped carrots, but ready-made cocktail sauce poured over it. Loveless. Grape leaves with tzaziki were okay, but the tzaziki was extremely lightly seasoned. The chicken skewer as the main course was very good, the meat was juicy and well grilled. Tzaziki again rather tasteless, fries good, but unsalted. Overall average. The service got better towards the end, as an apology for the late meal there was a drink on the house and lots of kind words. Nevertheless, the restaurant clearly thrives on the guests of the hotel across the street, and they don't come back that often.

Most terrible gratinated gyros I've ever eaten and for the price of almost €20 it's a disgrace! The waitress was totally inattentive and only served us after half an hour. Absolutely not recommended!

We treated ourselves to a few days in Berlin last week and had dinner at Ja Niko Ja in the evening. It is definitely recommended. Service and food great.

Typical Greek restaurant with really good quality “familiar” dishes

Very familiar atmosphere here, the food was good and the location was great for us as we stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel opposite. We'd love to come back. Ps. The toilets were clean and what should be highlighted positively are the deodorants and refreshments in the toilet.

Located in a very convenient location in Berlin restaurant, opposite the Intercontinental Hotel. You can also try the brandy from the island of Crete, which is very similar to the Bulgarian brandy. If you do not know German, they can also serve you in Bulgarian, Greek and Romanian.

Nice atmosphere, staff was friendly but a bit slow. I did not pay enough attention to the menu (we had just arrived in Europe from US so not as well rested) so was disappointed that the souvlaki was not the carved meat (usually lamb or a lamb/beef mix) that I was used to- it did clearly state it was port souvlaki but the taste is not what I was going for. There was enough meat for 2 people. We had pretty good wine. Good price for all the food we had.

We ate here four times during a recent visit to Berlin. The staff is excellent, fast or slow depending on what you prefer. Everyone spoke English which was very appreciated. The menu is extensive. All of the dishes we had, a Greek salad, spaghetti with meat sauce and chicken schnitzel were HUGE and DELICIOUS. We tried a couple of their wines and really enjoyed them all especially the house wine from Greece. They play their own selection of music which changes every day. We were lucky to hit some days when we listened to mostly a collection of music from the 70’s. We appreciated the personal touch that well chosen music adds to an evening out. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely superb, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Warm and welcoming, friendly, attentive (but not intrusive) staff. Huge menu selection, fantastic food from starter through main course to desert. The maitre de could not have done a better job. Thoroughly recommended, will definitely go back.

Hoewel de bediening vriendelijk is, hebben ze geen oog voor de gasten. Ook als het restaurant halfvol is, rennen ze gestrest rond. Terwijl we nog aan het voorgerecht bezig waren, kwam het hoofdgerecht al en dit werd zo op de al kleine tafel erbij geschoven. We zaten uiteindelijk met een stapel borden want niemand die die kwam weghalen. Het eten was gewoon niet lekker, weinig smaakvol, knoflookpasta uit een potje. We zagen heel veel mensen die het eten teruggaven of het verkeerde kregen. Denk dat ze hier veel moeten veranderen, of misschien hadden ze gewoon hun dag niet en hadden wij pech.

We went to the store spontaneously and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely out of the question. The starters were overpriced but tasty. The vegetarian starter platter was also delicious, but the price was completely exorbitant. Unfortunately the gyro was a total failure, simply inedible. I had dinner here and i did not enjoy it from start to finish. I have had better greek food from am imbiss. Not very good food and not the staff seemed to care less. Very poor value for money.

This place is an embarrassment to Greek cuisine. If you want to eat good food, you should avoid this place.

We come once a year and are always thrilled. But be careful, the steps to the toilets are terribly slippery.

We stopped by here spontaneously and went in. We were greeted very friendly and were immediately given a nice seat. The ambience is not that pleasant, but the food is great. The portions are big! We stayed at the IHG opposite and wanted a quick bite in the afternoon. Many places were shut on a Sunday but this was warm and welcoming. The sharing starter was excellent and the main courses were huge and filling. Reasonably priced and attentive staff

We went out to eat with our baby for the first time today and decided on "Ja! Niko Ja!" decided. We were warmly greeted at the door by the owner, were allowed to come in with the stroller and were given a table, which was ideal with a baby. The boss immediately explained to us where the changing room was and thought for us right from the start: a quiet table, close to the heating, a small, cozy niche, space for the stroller. She immediately recognized our slight insecurities as new parents and cared for us incredibly lovingly. We were able to feel really comfortable and our child's one or two giggles didn't really bother any of the other guests thanks to the intelligent table allocation. Afterwards came a barrage of Greek food that was simply outstanding! We had a small ensemble of fresh appetizers. Divine! The house wine is also worth recommending. We will come back in any case. Thank you very much for such professional hospitality!

I can only recommend this restaurant. We had a Mama record. I have never eaten such juicy gyros. The other meat was also so tender that it was a pure pleasure.
