A great Greek restaurant, and one that's been around for decades. The food is fantastic, and the service is just what you'd expect from a Greek restaurant: warm and attentive. Of course, there's also a free ouzo on the house when you greet and leave. There's an alternative drink available for children or those who don't want alcohol.

Actually, you have to give a bad rating so that Taverna Sirtaki doesn't become hip. Hip is crap. Time travel. Authentic "Greek" like before. If you come here, respect the place!! This is how German/Greek gastronomy works. We live around the corner and will come back. Echaristo para poli.

Always top service, very friendly atmosphere, makes you feel like you are with family! The food is amazing, the wine is perfect. Definitely my first choice when it comes to go out for dinner with friends! Highly recommended

The shop is always full because you can eat great here! A little more expensive, but really good! You can sit inside and outside. The food comes quickly. The waitress is very nice and says goodbye to you personally at the entrance. On public holidays and weekends you should book a table in advance!

Tavern Sirtaki – really good service and delicious food We went to the Sirtaki tavern in Lankwitz for the first time after seeing how crowded it was many times - and now we know why! The food was fresh, tasty and really well prepared. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the service: very attentive, friendly and always present without being intrusive. We were asked several times whether everything was okay - including whether the temperature was comfortable for us. When I put my jacket on, the heater was immediately turned on - that was really attentive and nice. Although we don't drink alcohol, we were still offered something non-alcoholic at the end - this was also taken into account as a matter of course. You just felt welcome and it was even possible to have a little conversation with the waiter every now and then. The whole thing had a very personal, pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a really great evening - we'll definitely be back :)

Very nice staff and delicious food!

For me it's by far the best Grichiche restaurant in Berlin!! Because the food tastes good there and the hearts beat blue and white 🔵⚪️! We had dinner there on Easter Monday and were very happy with the service and the food. No matter whether it was the starters or the main courses, there was nothing to complain about. The grilled peppers with olive oil and fresh garlic and grilled lukewarm tomatoes were so tasty that they didn't need any salt or pepper. The lamb shank was so tender that it almost fell off the bone on its own. The gyros, lamb chops, souvlaki and souzukaki that were on the grill plate were all very tasty and delicious!!! A family business with heart and soul!!!!

This tavern has a family atmosphere and is always worth a visit. ATTENTION: Pop and Greek music will be played! You have to like that. But there is always something going on and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The price-performance ratio is definitely right! They really aren't stingy when it comes to giving out ouzo! Audience mostly, middle to upper age! The food always tastes good! 👍🏼

Best Greek Tavern in whole Berlin!

We went to this Greek restaurant last Sunday (3 adults and 2 children). The food was delicious and the portions are very good. It's a wonderful Greek restaurant in this part of Berlin. Super cozy and the service is very friendly and attentive. We didn't have a reservation.

It's like always, like coming home. Great delicious food, a fantastic team and always a good atmosphere. A reservation is recommended, especially on weekends. The only thing missing is the original Greek port, i.e. being in Greece.

Food was a little under-spiced, had lamb stir-fry. Starter feta 7m puff pastry was delicious. Unfortunately a bit very loud. You could hardly have a conversation.

We ate there for the first time today. It was a friend's birthday and she invited us to dinner there. The friendliness with which we were greeted there is typical of the Greeks. The food we ordered was really tasty. There was lamb steak and minced meat in a spicy sauce. They are deliciously prepared. We were thrilled. The atmosphere is very cozy and we felt very comfortable at the time. Our conclusion... great overall package. It's worth eating there. We'll see you again soon & thank you for this lovely evening

Full marks. Was there again yesterday with my wife and brother. Despite a very short-term reservation and a full hut, it was still possible. We were treated so warmly and courteously that we came home completely happy and satisfied. Thank you very much, we will definitely be happy to come back soon.

Has deteriorated extremely. Take away, Gyro meat looks like it's cooked, it's just incredibly poorly prepared, and it's no longer high-quality meat. Not crispy nothing. And for really proud prices. We have enjoyed going to Sirtaki for many years and have always been very satisfied, but today was the last time we ordered and picked up food there. Unfortunately, everything has subsided. The service, the warmth and friendliness of the staff and especially the food. The gyro is weak, dry and not grilled at all (who knows if the meat was ever actually on a skewer. It was just a pile of chopped, gray pork), the souvlaki is just as dry and the quality is anything but high. It was actually inedible and unfortunately ended up in the trash. Apparently there is no longer a side salad if you don't eat in a restaurant. Unfortunately I only noticed this when I got home. All in all, in contrast to other restaurants, the service is not worthy of a Greek and I don't expect a sloppy answer from boss Kosta to my review, as he has already done here. Accepting criticism and learning from it instead of insulting customers would probably be a better approach. It's a shame that such a well-established institution like Sirtaki only relies on its good reputation instead of shining with quality.

As a regular guest, I was totally disappointed again today. Yes, of course, other guests who asked for the bill after you obviously have to be served beforehand. Regular guests are so stupid and come back... Even if the "boss" Kosta then says that they could look for another restaurant... Just without words!

It's a cozy restaurant, the food is excellent. My family and I really enjoy eating there because you always feel welcome. Hospitality is lived at Sirtaki. Everyone is very nice and friendly. There is always an Uso to greet you. No matter what I ordered there, it was always delicious and tasty. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth and has its charm in Berlin in the 80s - 90s. By the way, the restaurant opened in 1987 and is very popular. Sirtaki is my favorite Greek cuisine.

It was so cool in the winter garden through the gap in the curtains at the entrance. Otherwise very satisfied. Super attentive service despite a large event inside the restaurant.

A fantastic evening at Taverna Sirtaki! The food was excellent - especially the garlic sauce with the prawns and the souvlaki were to die for. The service was warm, attentive and even toasted with us. There was singing, dancing and laughter – pure joy of life! The energy was simply contagious and one employee even taught a little Sirtaki dance class. Hospitality really comes to life here. Absolutely recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Greek, great friendly people who run this business with love. We enjoyed it very much and the prices were absolutely right. However, you should make a reservation on the weekend as it is very busy, which speaks for itself. Parking spaces can be found in the area but not necessarily directly in front of the restaurant.

I would like to resubmit/update my review for Taverna Sirtaki. Maybe the current owner will have a quiet moment to think about it and optimize the service and food. We have been regular guests at Sirtaki since 2011, and were always very satisfied until 2020! We even celebrated my husband's 50th birthday and the wedding after-party in 2018 with 50 of our invited guests at Sirtaki. Everything was great! Then came the first disappointment, I ordered 2x gyros to take away, they were very dry, and one had the assumption that they had already been cut in advance and heated again in the pan.... Last Wednesday we were back at Sirtaki with another couple. We didn't make a reservation because we couldn't agree on an exact time beforehand. But we were able to sit outside after all, cards and a welcome ouzo arrived promptly. Thank you very much for that! We were also able to place our order promptly. Drinks and salads also arrived promptly, but unfortunately the garlic bread was forgotten. But it came with the main courses and on the house. Thanks for this too. Now to the main courses: all the grilled meat was very dry, so even the great tzatziki didn't help much. The gyro was like the takeaway one.....dry, pre-sliced ​​and reheated/fried. Overall, the food was only lukewarm. Then I was looking forward to the really delicious rice noodles in/with excellently seasoned tomato sauce. But here too there were only lukewarm tomatoised (reddish) bland rice noodles! The baked potatoes were good so far, maybe a little firm. But it could depend on the variety. Then we noticed that we weren't really being looked after and would have liked to have had something to drink. The ashtray came very late even after dinner, and I had already taken my travel ashtray out of my bag. Dear owners, I have read the reviews of the last few months and unfortunately I have to agree with those who write that they try very hard to ensure constant regular guests. But with "short-term" guests the attention/warmth leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, we didn't have a permanent service person either. I really would have liked to have had an all-round great evening and a tasteful experience at Sirtaki again!

We were there today and are very disappointed. When we came in we were asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, the waiters rolled their eyes. The waiters are inattentive, starters were forgotten and finally brought after asking three times, the meat is completely dry and tasteless. It was cut off beforehand because it was already dried and no longer hot. Then the table was simply cleared away even though we were still eating.

Rarely have I eaten such good meat from a Greek. Tip top. But tzatziki 5€ extra and zero tzatzika with the salad and eating at is unusual/impossible.

Danger! The positive reviews are misleading. I am appalled by the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the service! The food was of such poor quality and tasted so strange that we left the plates full (no one in charge thought to ask us if everything was ok after the plates were returned almost full). The staff was disrespectful towards us, with an arrogance and didactic tone and they "forgot" part of our order. 3-4 of the staff stood behind our table and were obviously making fun of us. This shop is a disgrace to Greek cuisine, which we actually value very much.

A great restaurant that our family has visited regularly for 15 years now. Today we were there for the last time. The chicken salad was tasty, but decidedly too expensive for 22 euros. The price-performance ratio is no longer right here. A gyro dish with cold French fries, almost inedible, was carelessly served for just under 18 euros. The service staff reacted aggressively. A sad finale after 15 beautiful years.

If we lived in Berlin, it could easily become our regular Greek home. We have been there three times now on different visits to Berlin. Very tasty food, especially good tzatziki, grill plate is plentiful and also delicious. The salad side dishes are simple but tasty, delicious salad dressing. The waitresses are extremely friendly. There are a lot of regulars - no wonder.

A Greek restaurant like many. You sat quite well. I ordered gyros with garlic sauce. The sauce had no garlic taste, I know otherwise. We came from Mitte, it wasn't worth it.
