Super delicious food, service, super best Greek ever, waiter, great food, delicious, can only be recommended

Great Greek, great friendly people who run this business with love. We enjoyed it very much and the prices were absolutely right. However, you should make a reservation on the weekend as it is very busy, which speaks for itself. Parking spaces can be found in the area but not necessarily directly in front of the restaurant.

The food was great. Portions were big. Overall, a great experience. The prices are a bit high though.

A Greek restaurant that made me feel at home. The food was very tasty and there was a dessert on the house that I didn't know before. It was a kind of ice cream with a strawberry sauce, very tasty. I ate Metaxa Gyros, which I found very good.

I would like to resubmit/update my review for Taverna Sirtaki. Maybe the current owner will have a quiet moment to think about it and optimize the service and food. We have been regular guests at Sirtaki since 2011, and were always very satisfied until 2020! We even celebrated my husband's 50th birthday and the wedding after-party in 2018 with 50 of our invited guests at Sirtaki. Everything was great! Then came the first disappointment, I ordered 2x gyros to take away, they were very dry, and one had the assumption that they had already been cut in advance and heated again in the pan.... Last Wednesday we were back at Sirtaki with another couple. We didn't make a reservation because we couldn't agree on an exact time beforehand. But we were able to sit outside after all, cards and a welcome ouzo arrived promptly. Thank you very much for that! We were also able to place our order promptly. Drinks and salads also arrived promptly, but unfortunately the garlic bread was forgotten. But it came with the main courses and on the house. Thanks for this too. Now to the main courses: all the grilled meat was very dry, so even the great tzatziki didn't help much. The gyro was like the takeaway one.....dry, pre-sliced ​​and reheated/fried. Overall, the food was only lukewarm. Then I was looking forward to the really delicious rice noodles in/with excellently seasoned tomato sauce. But here too there were only lukewarm tomatoised (reddish) bland rice noodles! The baked potatoes were good so far, maybe a little firm. But it could depend on the variety. Then we noticed that we weren't really being looked after and would have liked to have had something to drink. The ashtray came very late even after dinner, and I had already taken my travel ashtray out of my bag. Dear owners, I have read the reviews of the last few months and unfortunately I have to agree with those who write that they try very hard to ensure constant regular guests. But with "short-term" guests the attention/warmth leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, we didn't have a permanent service person either. I really would have liked to have had an all-round great evening and a tasteful experience at Sirtaki again!

We were there today and are very disappointed. When we came in we were asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, the waiters rolled their eyes. The waiters are inattentive, starters were forgotten and finally brought after asking three times, the meat is completely dry and tasteless. It was cut off beforehand because it was already dried and no longer hot. Then the table was simply cleared away even though we were still eating.

The food is delicious, but the food we ordered came before the drinks 🥹. We were served by several waiters; One brought the menu, one took the drink order, etc. Maybe the waiters just had a bad day, we'll definitely try again.

Rarely have I eaten such good meat from a Greek. Tip top. But tzatziki 5€ extra and zero tzatzika with the salad and eating at is unusual/impossible.

Danger! The positive reviews are misleading. I am appalled by the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the service! The food was of such poor quality and tasted so strange that we left the plates full (no one in charge thought to ask us if everything was ok after the plates were returned almost full). The staff was disrespectful towards us, with an arrogance and didactic tone and they "forgot" part of our order. 3-4 of the staff stood behind our table and were obviously making fun of us. This shop is a disgrace to Greek cuisine, which we actually value very much.

A great restaurant that our family has visited regularly for 15 years now. Today we were there for the last time. The chicken salad was tasty, but decidedly too expensive for 22 euros. The price-performance ratio is no longer right here. A gyro dish with cold French fries, almost inedible, was carelessly served for just under 18 euros. The service staff reacted aggressively. A sad finale after 15 beautiful years.

If we lived in Berlin, it could easily become our regular Greek home. We have been there three times now on different visits to Berlin. Very tasty food, especially good tzatziki, grill plate is plentiful and also delicious. The salad side dishes are simple but tasty, delicious salad dressing. The waitresses are extremely friendly. There are a lot of regulars - no wonder.

A Greek restaurant like many. You sat quite well. I ordered gyros with garlic sauce. The sauce had no garlic taste, I know otherwise. We came from Mitte, it wasn't worth it.

A family business for decades with truly excellent Greek food. Four of us (2 E. 2 K.) were there and let ourselves be pampered. The taverna offers a charming, rustic interior as well as a large terrace, which is of course very busy and popular at this time of year. Definitely worth many more visits. Recommendation Pepperoni, gyros, melitzanosalata and fries all 10/10 Garlic bread and tzatziki 9.5/10 Tree resin liqueur 9/10

This family business is a real insider tip in Berlin. Everything was delicious and fresh, like in Greece. Warm people who value quality will host you here. Looking forward to the next time.

We were there spontaneously on a Sunday, full because of the European Championships and still the best service from all the employees who tried hard to make everyone happy. Food was a dream from start to finish, portions perfectly portioned and everything fresh and homemade, from tzatziki to ice cream. The restaurant itself also impressed with its cozy, authentic atmosphere. When we wanted to watch the next European Championship game after eating in the outdoor area we had booked, a table was reserved for us. We were completely satisfied and from now on we will only go to Taverna Sirtaki if we want Greek food!

This restaurant is completely overrated. In the 80s and 90s, delicious Greek food was still served here. Unfortunately, that is a thing of the past. The salads and starters were a disaster, and the main course didn't convince me either. The staff is fake friendly……., You would have to take away the owner's business because he unfortunately knows nothing about gastronomy!!

It was our first time with friends who come there often. It was May 1st and it was well attended. A table was pre-booked. First there was an ouzo, which had alcohol in it. The service was nice, a bit haphazard, perhaps because of the rush. I had a bifteki with salad and fries. The salad came first and was kept very manageable. If I had known what was coming, I would have saved it. Bifteki came, a large piece of meatloaf with a small block of sheep's cheese rammed into it. And a lot of fries, salted and completely without anything... just dry fries. When I asked, I was given a ketchup bottle. Otherwise I would never have been able to choke down the dry things. Now I was missing the salad. I could say that I won't make this "mistake" next time, but there certainly won't be a next time. Mr. colleague said that people go to Greek restaurants mainly because of the ouzo. In this restaurant he summed it up for me.

The four of us had dinner last Friday. The food was great, the service was extremely friendly and attentive. The sirtaki spritz tasted great, unfortunately I don't remember the recipe. We will be back definitely . We had a lovely evening, thank you for that. Kind regards, Marion Albrecht

A fantastic culinary experience! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was perfect. The selection of dishes was varied and each one was expertly prepared. The service was attentive and very friendly, and the ambience was simply wonderful. An absolute must for foodies!! We feel very comfortable and warmly welcomed and will definitely come more often!! The food was delicious, the casserole should have been much warmer. Therefore slight deductions. We found the service to be very good. We felt very comfortable here in this atmosphere. We would be happy to come back. Today for Women's Day, we were happy to be guests here again. We enjoyed a cold starter plate and a mixed grill plate. It was really good quality.

We were rather disappointed… we compared what was served with the food in Greece. Unfortunately very distant and loveless. We ordered lots of little things in typical Mediterranean style - from cheese, olives, anchovies... unfortunately disappointing. What particularly stood out were normal black olives - which are typically processed mechanically with iron - and Kalamata olives were not there. The saganaki also didn't taste good and the consistency was more like a cheap feta - flat and without any seasoning. The fish - anchovies - was limp and not crispy... so if we skipped everything, it was unfortunately disappointing.
