Very friendly staff and a beautiful terrace

Service was quite stressful (despite few guests) and sometimes annoyed guests so much during their stay that they got up and left before ordering. Food was pretty tasteless and I can't understand the reviews at all. The taste of the food was simply not tasty. The prices blew us away!!!! Absolutely overpriced and far from justified. Value for money 1 star! There were an incredible number of flies on the terrace, making the food inedible. The mood of the service staff in the restaurant was simply uncomfortable and the atmosphere between the service staff was also irritable. We just wanted to try Nefeli because of the good reviews, but we won't be visiting the restaurant again.

Ordered there. The food tasted below average. There was a piece of duct tape in my limp salad.

Our second time in the tavern “Nefeli” (Munich-Ramersdorf). We were thrilled. Parking space in front of the door. The welcome was very warm, the ambience and selection of food were typically Greek, the service was very attentive and the farewell was just as warm as the welcome. Particularly recommended!

So, with the best will in the world, I can't understand the reviews that you have to wait a long time or that the staff was arrogant or that the food wasn't good. I had dinner there yesterday with my wife and were warmly welcomed. The wait for the food was good so not too long and the quality was excellent. The meat was super tender and the taste was just perfect. The price is of course a little higher but I think since everything has become more expensive and the portions are really big, you can't complain. We will definitely come by again because I can only recommend it.

Wir kennen das Restaurant jetz tschon sehr lange Zeit, sind sehr oft dagewesen. Vor 15 Jahren war es sehr gut, dann war es okay - un in der Corona Zeit haben wir öfters genutzt - allein schon wegen dem Namen Call-a-Greek. Seitdem waren wir noch ein paar Mal da - aber hat es eher weniger gefallen. Das als Vorgeschichte zu unserem Besuch im April 2024. Unser Service war eher unfreundlich, wobei andere Mitarbeiter deutlich freundlicher waren. Leider war auch der Chef nicht da - der es sonst oft gerettet hat. Das Essen - hmmh, das trockene Thunfischsteak wurde dominiert von einer zu dicken Sesamkruste, das Gemüse war ziemlich zerkocht, der Bergkäse war gut, leider war der leicht labbrige Salat in viel zu viel Sosse ertränkt. Schade um die schöne Location - wo es eh nicht so viele Alternativen in der Nähe gibt. Ich glaube, jetzt nur noch mal auf ein Bier - aber Essen dort nicht mehr.

Update: The owner tried to have the review deleted via a lawyer (but was able to prove that he ordered there). Reviews are heavily glossed over because critical ones are deleted. Questionable shop. Lettuce was from the day before (withered leaves, tomato tasted like compost). Bifteki was filled with mozerella (not sheep's cheese as claimed on the menu) and generally meat was very dry and tough. I would avoid.

Had a meal at Nefeli a few months ago and was very disappointed. Because of the many positive reviews (most of which are several years old) we have now made a second attempt and that was our last one. The food is grossly overpriced, the quality is absolutely not fair to the price and the service is arrogant. We were really happy that he hardly showed up.... You have to be able to afford to go out to eat now, but then I want to at least enjoy my food and feel like a welcome guest. This was not the case here.

Hair in the glass service is not good and the food is not cooked and the music doesn't fit

Today we ate at Nefeli again after a long time and it tasted wonderful. The terrace has been beautifully renovated and you feel like you are in a tavern in Greece. Starter very tasty and the rest of the menu is also highly recommended.

The food itself is very good, although a bit expensive. Service well, we ordered 2 main courses and 5 minutes after ordering we decided to have a starter. The waiter told us that the boss refused to change that because we were only guests in the sauna and not in the restaurant itself. But the restaurant was closed so the extra effort couldn't have been due. I mean, if you don't want to make money, it's your own fault, but we were very surprised.

Nefeli is my favorite place when I want to eat authentically Greek food. Always top quality, attentive, friendly service and many different places to choose from.

Wir kamen mit Groupon- Gutscheinen und wurden korrekt bedient. Allerdings nicht mit viel Liebe. Das Essen war - griechisch typisch - total übergart. Das heist die Scampis waren "furztrocken". Dafür war das Gemüse knackig. Die Möhren "sprangen" vom Teller. Etwas zu trinken zu bestellen war schwierig, wäre aber dringend nötig gewesen. Alles in Allem: extra dort hinzufahren halte ich für unnötig.

As a Groupon guest you are not very welcome. This is noticeable in the service and also in the kitchen.

We haven't been there for a year and have always been very satisfied. A friend recently said that the price-performance ratio is no longer right. Unfortunately, we found out today that this is true. The gyro was very fatty, the calamari was cold, the moussaka was burnt and the potatoes in it were still hard. In the end it was quite expensive and there wasn't a single ouzo...a shame! :(

Was als Wildscampis bezeichnet wurde, waren minderwertige Tiefkühlprodukte, teuer, lauwarm, schlecht zu schälen und geschmacklos. Eine Riesenenttäuschung, weil wir uns - natürlich - auf ein tolles Abendessen gefreut hatten. Auch die Bruscetti waren keine: komische Paste und harte Schinkenscheibe. Doch: der Ouzo war gut.....

wir sind Stammkunden dieses Restaurants, waren aber sehr enttäuscht von dem Service den wir an einem Dienstag Abend bekamen. Der Kellner war alleine für die gesamte Terrasse zusändig, damit überfordert und schlecht gelaunt. Das Essen kam nach 1,5 Std. die Dorade für zwei Personen war dann auch noch trocken. Es wurde uns kein Brot angeboten um die Zeit zu überbrücken, am Ende haben wir wortlos eine Flasche Ouzo auf den Tisch bestellt bekommen. Die Terasse war kalt und zugig, der Chef selbst mit anderen Gästen beschäftig und es hat ihn nicht gekümmert, das fast niemand Essen auf dem Tisch bekommen hat und alle warten mussten. Wir kommen nie wieder, tut uns leid aber so kann man Kunden nicht behandeln.

Warm starter platter for 2 people. ordered: the quantity is a joke with 1 pepper, a few breaded half-slices of zucchini, eggplant, tzalziki and 2 pieces of gratinated sheep's cheese, which tasted really old and the whole thing for €32.90.

Food was price performance way too expensive would have expected more Service catastrophe, we were often forgotten and couldn't order anything etc Greek yogurt with fruits and nuts was just a whole walnut, I expected more

It's a shame that our review, which only contained the facts of our visit, was deleted!! I've lived in Munich since I was little and have been to a lot of Greek people, and mostly I'm very satisfied. This is very expensive considering the price-performance ratio. The warm starter plate (mediocre) for over €16. I have nothing to say against the guys' service. Always tip generously, but with a grain of salt / You shouldn't have to ask for pepper. The pitas were flaky. Well, it's ok but for the prices you eat better with more choice in many other Greek places.

Absolutely great food, prices and staff were great AND you could even admire a belly dancer, the 5 stars are absolutely deserved.

Our service was rather unfriendly, although other employees were much friendlier. And the boss wasn't there - who often saved it. The food - hmm, the tuna steak was dominated by a sesame crust that was too thick, the vegetables were pretty overcooked, the mountain cheese was good, unfortunately the soggy salad was drowned in far too much sauce. Unfortunately, I have to say that the quality of the food has declined over the years. It's a shame about the beautiful location - where there aren't that many alternatives anyway. I think just for a beer now - but we don't need food there anymore.

Pure disappointment! We had a dinner date this evening. We waited 1.5 hours for our food - there were technical problems, but we were informed of this after an hour of waiting and our order was taken again. We waited 20-30 minutes for drinks. We had a pregnant woman with us and we asked the waiters several times to bring her something to eat in advance, but this didn't happen. After the food arrived the disappointment was greater, it was burnt and didn't taste good. Shortly afterwards, 2 out of 4 developed stomach problems and 1 stopped eating. We won't go there again! A pity...

We ate in this restaurant on business and were immediately seated in a friendly manner. The service was very friendly throughout the evening. The food was sometimes good, sometimes not so good. The tzatziki looked like the one in a cup in the supermarket, the souvlaki and bifteki were excellent, the gyros were unfortunately not very crispy and unfortunately very fatty and partly undercooked. We received a small compensation from the service quickly and professionally for the fact that the gyro wasn't cooked through, which was very good.

Order was not recorded correctly. Forgot to order again. One drink in 3 hours. You weren't asked if you wanted anything else. Once again, you didn't ask what side dish you wanted with the main course. But decided for the guest. And the quality of the meat was a disaster. Hard as a shoe sole and the spit was only made of fat. It used to be good, but today it's no longer a shame

Service would have liked to have been able to come by the tables more often. And in my opinion, fish and meat don't belong on the same plate. But that's a matter of opinion.

After a very friendly welcome, things unfortunately only went downhill. It took 15 minutes before we were allowed to order, then we had to wait another hour for our food. When the waiter put the first plate on the table, he quickly took it away because he wasn't sure if it was intended for us (even though we told him that was exactly what we ordered). By the time he got back with the rest, the plate in question was already lukewarm. Food was average at best and quite greasy, the pita bread we ordered wasn't even brought, but was then on the bill. When we asked for this, another 10 minutes passed until we got up and then paid the bill at the bar. Prices also very high for the quality.

Top food, good service, gladly again! A highlight is the covered outdoor area when it rains in summer ☺️

Unfortunately it's very expensive to eat there.

leider sehr enttäuschend... kamen um 18.30 Uhr an einem Mittwoch Abend ohne Reservierung. Der Laden noch relativ leer. Wir standen zu 4 erstmal gut ein paar Minuten im Laden bis sich dann doch mal ein Kellner um uns bemüht hat. Wir hätten gerne einen großen Tisch gehabt aber wurden dann lieblos an einen 4er Tisch gequetscht mit der Begründung man hätte ja noch Reservierungen. Die Reservierung kam dann auch für den 6er Tisch und ebenfalls zu 4. Es war allerdings für den Rest des Abends noch ein weiterer 6er Tisch frei. Nun ja..... der Kellner eher unfreundlich und das Essen staubtrocken bzw. das Bifteki noch halb roh..... einzig der Beilagensalat war einigermaßen genießbar. Zudem sauteuer was nicht schlimm gewesen wäre, wenn wenigstens das Essen hervorragend gewesen wäre. Eine kurze Nachfrage vom Kellner ob alles in Ordnung sei, kam dann doch noch. Keine Nachfrage ob man noch eine Nachspeise möchte oder einen Kaffee, statt dessen wurde meiner offensichtlich minderjährigen Tochter ein Ouzo angeboten.... was soll ich sagen, wir gehen da sicher nicht mehr hin. Das Ambiente ist einfach auch viel zu laut sodass man sein eigenes Wort kaum versteht sobald sich der Laden füllt. Warum hier so viele Leute Essen gehen, ist mir ein Rätsel.

After so many years of great Greek food today a total disappointment. Salad tasted like soap, starter came with the main course. Moussaka was greasy and tasted like anything other than Greek food. Very unfortunate

Das Essen ist sehr gut und ansprechend angerichtet, es hat auch seinen Preis. Gemütlichkeit ist verbesserbar, insbesondere die Stühle, die nicht sehr bequem sind. Dafür ist die griechische Gastfreundschaft deutlich zu spüren und man vergisst die Stühle.

Unsere Erfahrung im Restaurant Nefeli war schlichtweg wunderbar! Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert wurden unsere Geschmacksknospen auf eine köstliche Reise mitgenommen. Das Personal verdient ein besonderes Lob – sie waren nicht nur fachkundig, sondern auch ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre im Nefeli war einladend und herzlich, was unseren Abend noch angenehmer machte. Die Kellner hatten stets ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlten. Ihre Empfehlungen trafen genau unseren Geschmack, und ihre positive Energie trug zu einer wirklich angenehmen Stimmung bei. Die Vielfalt der Speisekarte ermöglichte es uns, verschiedene Gerichte auszuprobieren, und jedes einzelne war ein Genuss für den Gaumen. Frische Zutaten und raffinierte Zubereitung zeichneten die Gerichte aus, und es war deutlich zu spüren, dass im Nefeli viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Insgesamt war unser Abend im Restaurant Nefeli ein Genuss für alle Sinne. Wir verlassen das Restaurant mit zufriedenen Herzen und vollen Bäuchen und freuen uns bereits auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Das Essen hat leider stark nachgelassen - im Gegenzug haben die Preise stark angezogen. Ich hatte ein Lachsfilet, über das eine gelbe 08/15-Sauce gekippt war, mit Reis und Salat für über 20 Euro. Mit mediterraner Küche, die ich beim Griechen eigentlich erwarten würde, hatte das nichts zu tun. Service und Ambiente waren gut. Ich war früher sehr regelmäßig im Nefeli, aber wegen des überteuerten, minderwertigen Essens war ich nun zum letzten Mal dort.

Mein Lieblingsgrieche in München. Das Essen war wie immer ausgezeichnet und die Kellner sind super nett. Immer wieder gerne!

Die Atmosphäre, die Tische und die Räumlichkeiten sind wirklich schön gestaltet und bieten viel Platz. Leider fällt es mir schwer, ebenso positive Worte für das Personal und das Essen zu finden. Es ist bedauerlich, dass man sich in einem griechischen Restaurant trotz vieler freier Tische so unwillkommen fühlt. Ich hoffe, dass das Management in Zukunft an der Verbesserung dieser Aspekte arbeiten wird.

Super nette Besatzung, leckeres Essen Nachtrag: Sind nun seit langer Zeit bei Petros, Nico und dem gesamten Team zu gast und Gast ist bei Nefeli wörtlich gemeint. Ein tolles Restaurant Wer es nicht ausprobiert, hat selber Schuld.. Ein Tipp für Raucher, es gibt eine super gemütliche, beheizte Terrasse...... Leider inzwischen überhaupt nicht mehr, was es mal war, sehr teuer, Heizstrahler werden nicht mehr eingeschaltet, das Essen qualitativ nicht mehr zu vergleichen mit früher.

Angerufen, da wir reservieren wollten. Es hieß, kommt einfach vorbei. Mit Kind hingefahren und wieder abgewiesen, da kein Platz mehr frei. Waren seitdem nie wieder dort. Essen ist gut, auf Kosten der Service Qualität aber das Restaurant zu überbuchen ist jedoch ein NoGo! Da fahren wir kpnftig lieber nach Trudering zum griechisch essen.

Good vibes only....Gestern haben wir im Nefeli den Geburtstag meiner Töchter gefeiert. Wir gehen seit vielen Jahren ins Nefeli, das Essen, der Service und die Freundlichkeit dee Mitarbeitenden sind immer hervorragend. Aber gestern war es noch einmal ein anderes Niveau von Service und Freundlichkeit und Entertainment. Das Essen wie immer mega gut, aber die gute Stimmung, die auch das Personal und der Besitzer verbreitet haben, waren ansteckend. Der Service war unglaublich! Vielen Dank liebes Nefeli Team für eine unvergessliche Geburtstagsfeier, die ich so noch nie in einem Restaurant erlebt habe!

Preis-Leistung passt einfach nicht, Essen war solide, ohne besonders zu sein (nur vegetarische Speisen), aber einfach sehr teuer. Und ich bekomm selber schlicht ein deutlich spannenderes vegetarisches Moussaka hin.

Leider kann ich das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen… Die „Vorspeisenplatte für Zwei“ war ausrechend groß (sogar für drei Personen)… leider war der Preis mit ca. 30€ sehr stolz für die angebotenen Speisen (frittierte Zucchini, bisschen Zaziki, Haloumi, noch ein paar andere frittierte Sachen (kein Fleisch) aber leider alles in allem nicht wirklich typisch Griechisch. Beim Gyros mit Kalamaris fragten wir nach Zaziki welches eigentlich Standard sein sollte - Dieses wurde uns dann mit 5,40€ extra berechnet. Das Lamm von der Tageskarte war sehr gut und die Preisleistung mit ca 25€ recht gut… den Abend trübte dann die Wartezeit auf die Rechnung von 45 Minuten (nachdem wir dem Kellner bescheid gaben)… Auch ein mehrfaches Aufzeigen nach 10/20/30/40 Minuten wurde nicht gesehen und der Chef war lieber bei seinen vermeintlichen Stammgästen unterwegs… Auch die Nachfrage nach dem extra berechneten Zaziki wurde dann Wortreich mit der inkludierten Anzahl der Beilagen argumentiert und ausgeführt… hier hätte ein einfach erlassen der 5,40€ aufgrund der langen Wartezeit (45min auf die Rechnung) das ganze noch retten können… leider Fehlanzeige. Zusammen hatten wir 1x Vorspeisenplatte 1x Gyros Kalamari (ohne Zaziki) 1x Lammrücken mit Metaxa (es gab leider kein Gyros mit Metaxa Soße) 1x Wasser (Flasche) 1x Spezi 1x Hollunderschorle 1x Pide 1x Griechischer Honig 1x Zaziki da es beim Gyros nicht dabei ist… =104,20€ (leider nicht gerade günstig) Sehr schade

Wie sind nach den schlechten Kritiken der letzten Zeit wieder einmal im Nefeli gewesen um uns unser eigenes Bild zu machen. Es war ein schöner Abend mit gutem Essen. Vorweg gab es für zwei Personen Tsatziki mit Pitabrot, was beides sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir dann Bifteki und den Salat Meer, auch hier waren die Portionen mehr als ausreichend und lecker. Der Service hat allerdings ein wenig zu wünschen übrig gelassen, wenn der Chef nicht einen Großteil des Service gerettet hätte. Sehr sympathisch und kommunikativ. Auch hier gibt es wie in fast allen Restaurants Personalmangel und das schlägt sich halt im Service nieder. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
