The food was really good. The drinks service could be better. That's probably due to the high demand. A bit noisy during peak hours. Still very satisfied.

Cozy family style restaurant. Much bigger than I had initially thought when I passed by on the outside weeks ago. A gigantic Biergarten belongs to the property. We were there on a Friday evening, it was insanely busy with big grouos of people and were lucky to get a seat. Delicious food.

Really friendly and attentive staff, always up for a joke. Relaxed yet professional. I can definitely recommend the grilled liver. Delicious, and great with rice too. It was a truly flavorful experience. Thank you so much! We always eat here on business and have never been disappointed. Thumbs up! 😉

One of very few restaurants in northern Munich where the food is absolutely top-notch.

A very interestingly designed restaurant. The entrance is captivating with its many colorful flatware. The restaurant is all pillared with curves. The ambiance is perfect. During our visit, we were able to choose our seating. The staff is very friendly, and our orders were taken quickly. The food arrived quickly, was very hot, and was very tasty. The drinks selection is decent.

The portions were generous, but the quality wasn't great. The service was okay. The atmosphere was cozy and spacious.

At first I thought it was kind of pricey but each plate came with a starter salad and some bread, and then for dessert we got Greek yogurt with caramelized carrot which was soo good, so for paying one dish we get a lot of nice extras along with it making the price very reasonable:) The atmosphere along with the aesthetics was great, it reminded me a lot of Spain and Italy.

At Greek restaurants, you always get a glass of ouzo as a welcome drink or after dinner. Here, the waiter also brought us a glass of ouzo at the beginning without asking. That was very nice. But then we would have to pay for the ouzo.

Unfortunately, my last visit with my wife and children was only OK. Because the waiter was extremely overwhelmed. The order was relatively quick, but the food took a very, very long time (almost an hour). The food was OK, but waiting too long with a three-year-old child isn't so nice. But the terrace has been fantastically renovated.

The food and ambience are ok, the food came quickly, and the price/performance ratio is still okay.

A long waiting time of 50 minutes spoils the otherwise positive impression

Solid Greek cuisine with good value for money. The portions were very generous, in our opinion. The ambiance was particularly beautiful and authentic. We thoroughly enjoyed it, so we're happy to recommend it.

Ate there twice because all other restaurants in the area were closed. The staff was minimally friendly, but the service was fast. I had schnitzel and gyros, both very large portions but very tasty. The prices were also relatively reasonable.

I happened upon El Greco with my four-year-old son quite by chance. We used Feldmoching as a park-and-ride option to get to the city center and then wanted to grab some lunch. The gyro was crispy and delicious, as was the pita bread. The rice and tzatziki were also great. The servers were also very friendly throughout and even refilled our ouzo (or cherry juice for my son). Because it was raining, we had to sit inside, but the atmosphere was nice. Next time, though, I'd like to sit outside in the beer garden; it looked very idyllic even in the rain. In other words: We'll be back :)

Very good menu and excellent service.

The food is rather average, but the portions are large. Unfortunately, the service is subpar. This started when a friend with a crutch wanted to prop up her recently operated leg on a chair. The waiter grumbled something incomprehensible and, when we asked, said it would be in the way (there was actually plenty of space in the garden, and the nearby tables weren't occupied). Missing cutlery was only brought when someone at our table (9 people) stood up and complained - the food was already on the table. The food was literally "piled in," and the bad mood of the various waiters was clearly visible. No one asked for drinks, and the plates weren't cleared away. I then had to get up and go to the staff to say that we would all like something to drink. And when I used the wrong door to go to the restroom, coming from the garden, I was yelled at again. We only visited the restaurant because our favorite Greek restaurant on the same street was closed on Mondays, and we certainly won't make that mistake again.

Good, quiet restaurant. With decor reminiscent of Greece.

The food was quite good in terms of taste and portion size, as long as it was served in its entirety. The service, however, was truly poor to nonexistent. The waiter was inattentive, unfriendly, and completely overwhelmed. My pita appetizer wasn't served at all, simply forgotten, and the main course was missing a meat skewer, which was only "returned" later. I only had one drink the entire evening; when I asked, the waiter always just said "coming right away" – but it never came. This made it almost impossible for other guests in our party to complain or reorder the missing food. Small courtesies like water for two dogs or congratulations for the birthday boy or girl were nonexistent. I was a guest and therefore didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but personally, I wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

I went there for dinner after a while. And I have to say, unfortunately, that the food has deteriorated considerably. I was very disappointed, the taste of every dish we ate was disappointing. I'm sorry, but what happened there? I used to go there quite often a year ago, but now I'm reconsidering.

Eat well and large portions. The live music that is offered here on Saturday evening is far too loud even for an AC/DC concert goer and unbearable next to the food.🙄

A very homey place for an amazing meal. Our server was very kind and friendly, made us feel like part of the family. We started with Saganaki - fabulous!!! They provided complimentary salad and ouzo as well. Main dishes I had the baby calamari and gyros plate and my husband had the souvlaki plate. Both were fantastic. My only note is that the rice was not our favourite, a little tough and lacking flavour. We had the baklava for dessert and both had a cappuccino. Great cappuccino with lovely foam! i It was an outstanding meal and I would recommend this place to anybody who wants amazing Greek food in Munich!

Food and service greatly deteriorated! What a shame! I'll never go there again! I was almost a regular customer at El Greco for 15 years. The really nice family team made you feel completely at home. The food was always top! Unfortunately, this has decreased significantly over the past 3 years. Eat mainly meat as if it had been warmed up!! Staff and boss very unfriendly, annoyed, aggressive!

A wonderful Greek restaurant! The ingredients are exceptionally fresh, you can taste the quality in every bite. The portions are very generous – no one goes home hungry here! Particularly beautiful: the wonderful wisteria outside, which gives the place a dreamlike atmosphere. Absolutely recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant, good food and great service. The staff is very attentive and what I found really great was that there was the traditional ouzo before the meal and a small dessert when paying.

We were completely satisfied. When we had only been sitting at the table for a minute, an Uso was already placed on the table to greet us. When we ordered we only waited 10 minutes for our food. When we asked for the bill, we got dessert and more Uso on the house. We will visit again when we are nearby!

Absolutely recommended! The food is first-class, the service is attentive and warm, the sanitary facilities are clean, and the prices are absolutely fair - there is hardly anything left to be desired here. The staff is always in a good mood, always ready for a joke and reacts calmly and professionally to even small complaints. Children are welcome, which makes the restaurant particularly family-friendly. The ambience is absolutely homely – warm, inviting and designed with great attention to detail. You feel completely comfortable and would like to come back.

The place is not bad, the service is a bit slow, but I have nothing to complain about. We only stopped for a beer with friends, so I can't rate the food. The environment is nice, but the toilets are unfortunately disastrous.

Typical Greek restaurant with Mediterranean dishes. Although located in the middle of a residential area, you get satisfyingly well-prepared food as you would expect from a Greek restaurant.

Like all El Grecco in the Munich area, highly recommended. Always the same good quality. However, eating scampi and calamari is too expensive compared to the meal alone. Calamari without !2! Scampi costs €6 less. 3€ for 1 scampi is too much. Otherwise the prices were ok

I've been there several times already. The food was very good, but after my penultimate visit I left hungry. The restaurant is open 11:00-15:00, 17:00-00:00, that's what it says on the website, I was there at 2:19 p.m. I heard good morning that the kitchen is closed, it works until 2:30 p.m. I say there is no 2 p.m. :30 that's what I heard, the kitchen doesn't serve food anymore. Photo from the last visit, as always, I arrive at your place after 5 p.m., but it's a pity that I couldn't eat until 3 p.m.

The Stifado with the fresh bread was fantastic, a poem! A little too many raw onions on the farmer's salad for my taste, otherwise good. Fast & attentive service, good light beer, free and delicious dessert & ouzo - very well rounded, gladly again!

Rich menu, down-to-earth Greek cuisine and very nice service. The portions are extremely large. The restaurant itself is a bit old, but despite its size, it is still very comfortable overall.

The food has worn off. Greasy and a lot of things seem like TK. But mostly nice service, Augustiner draft beer and good ouzo.

Starter plate all ready-made products of cheap quality. Covered with an indefinable ready-made mayo. We couldn't eat the cold squid pieces from the can either. Peppers with garlic, looked good but no garlic was completely over salted. Inedible. The extra tzatziki was also tasteless. Giros in Metaxa was edible but no Metaxa flavor. Too much sauce, way too powerful. We've had much better food there. The dessert, yogurt with what looked like sugar-glazed carrots, was on the house but was also subpar. You'll never see us again. We paid €57 for such bad food. Price ok, but far too expensive for this taste bud. Conclusion: the chef cannot be Greek, that would be against his honor.

Since I usually eat the same thing, I can easily compare. Here the dish was not as perfect as others. More quantity instead of quality. Also cheaper in price. So still good. Parking is a bit difficult as the parking lots are usually full and there is also a lot of parking on the street.

Very disappointing from waiter and food! Fries too greasy, gyros too tough, pita bread not cooked but doughy, bifteki very poorly seasoned, side salad very heartlessly prepared. Waiter didn't care about us like reordering drinks. We had to get up twice and call him so we wanted to order something. We were with 7 people. Portions very large which no one wants, at the end of the day it just has to taste good, very simple! Here it is more mass than CLASS! We had a very, very good meal at other Greek places. We definitely won't come here again and it's not recommended at all. In a company canteen you can eat better and the staff is friendlier! Don't be fooled by the decor here in the restaurant. School grade an absolute 6- Oh well, see for yourself!

At most, the ambience can score points. Food and service underground. Other Greeks in the area are much better and friendlier. Also more Balkan cuisine than Greek...

The food was good but nothing special. The service was ok - the gentleman wasn't the friendliest. The restaurant has a nice ambience. There was also a children's chair. Unfortunately the changing option wasn't good. The changing mat is in the hallway between the toilets - on a chest of drawers in the men's toilet. All the people who go to the toilet can literally look at the child...

Now closed on Monday in September!
