Sorry. Extremely unfriendly to single guests. They only offer you a "cat table," even though several nicer tables are available. Not customer-oriented. I subsequently refused to eat any food and left the restaurant.

My family and I had a phenomenal experience at Kyano. The food was wonderful, Alex was a charismatic and attentive server, and the ambiance was perfect. I can only eat gluten-free food and I had plenty of options, and they accommodated my very picky kids. The tzatziki was some of the best I’ve ever had, and my husband loved the lamb. Would definitely return!

The food at Kyano was truly very, very good, and the prices were therefore reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was patchy. It was fake-friendly, and the waitress didn't greet incoming guests or say goodbye as they left the restaurant. These are the small but important differences. The ambiance outside was really nice – the large terrace area was a surprise. Conclusion: We'll be back again and hopefully have a little better luck with the service.

A rather unassuming restaurant from the outside. Inside, you're surprised to find it's larger than expected. There's also an outdoor area, which was unfortunately too cold for us during our visit. The menu is a bit more concise than you'd expect from most Greek restaurants, but there should still be something for everyone. All the dishes were freshly prepared and very well seasoned. You can watch the chef preparing the food through the open kitchen. The staff were very friendly and cheerful.

Very nice restaurant, modern and cozy, with great lounge music. Outdoor lighting with a retractable glass roof. Service is very friendly and always with a smile. They're happy to help with your choice. The food is good, but the portions are a bit small for the price.

The food was quite decent. The service was extremely unprofessional and untypical for a Greek restaurant. A lot of things were forgotten, the wrong things were brought to the table, or nothing was served for a very long time. We had to wait an extremely long time for our main course and, when we told them we couldn't wait much longer because of the children (we had already been waiting for over an hour...), were dismissed with the comment that we could go to McDonald's if we didn't want to wait. Even the rather agitated chef, who then reprimanded us at the table, perhaps should have cooked instead... Overall, it wasn't a pleasant restaurant experience.

Waren für einen Städtetrip in der Nähe untergebracht. und Zweimal hier. Wir sind Griechenland kenner und können das Essen als Typisch Griechisch bestätigen. So gut haben wir aber selten gegessen wie hier. In Europa nicht. Taramosalat, Gyros sensationell. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedinung. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältniss. Wir weden das Lokal weiter empfehlen. Gerne mal wieder.

We stayed nearby for a city trip and visited twice. We know Greece well and can confirm that the food is typically Greek. However, we've rarely eaten as well as here. Not in Europe. The taramo salad and gyros were sensational. Friendly and attentive service. Very nice atmosphere. Good value for money. We would recommend this restaurant. We'd be happy to go back.

During my stay in Munich, I visited this place twice in a row. The food was excellent, and the service was great. I was served by Alex, who was professional and provided good recommendations. The gyros and the assorted meat dish were tasty. The environment is cozy, and it was quite busy even on a Tuesday. Please note that they do not accept credit cards for payments below 50 euros.

Food was proper. If it was an exam it would just pass with minimum level of points. The portions were really small so my biggest problem with this place is prices. You can get the same quality of food, with more quantity for much less in ANY other Greek restaurant. Service was good and the vibe of place is also very nice.

The food is good. The ambience and service are ok. I would actually give it 4 stars, but the prices are too high. In addition, the prices on the website do not match those on site. As of December 16, 2024, according to the website, gyros cost €16.5 (outdated), €19.5 will be charged on site. I think the €3 difference is very steep. So please update the website!!

Since we moved from Munich, we were very happy that we were able to visit Kyano while visiting Munich. It was as part of a celebration and the food, the ambience and the staff were once again top notch! Both the starters, the main courses, the side dishes and the dessert were really perfect. There was beef that was cooked to perfection. The shrimp and fish were also perfectly prepared and tasted wonderful. Particularly noteworthy is the super friendly staff, who really fulfilled every wish and were very accommodating. If you want to have a really tasty and good meal, this is the best place!

The prices are very high and at the same time the customer saves money everywhere. The side dish is 1 potato and half a pepper without any flavor because both are of the cheapest supermarket quality. The spritzers are mostly water. The meat wasn't much, but the taste was ok. And card payments only start at €50, which I haven't experienced in a long time these days.

Überragendes Essen von hervorragender Qualität! Ich habe selten besser gegessen, generell gesehen. In Bezug auf griechisches Essen war die gemischte Platte hier das Beste was ich jemals bei nem Griechen bekommen hab. Service war super freundlich, ist auch voll auf unsere Kinder eingegangen. Das Essen der Kinder war nach 5 Minuten da, dann hatten wir Ruhe am Tisch und kein Gequängel. TOP

This is the fanciest Greek taverna I have been to. It is not a budget place. The food is really well prepared. The chef did a great job not only in terms of taste but also with classy and professional presentation. The meat was perfectly done - not overcooked. I have to say better than most places in Greece that I have been to. The service was also very cordial and attentive. The waiter was flexible and accommodating with our orders. The seating at the back is nice.

Unfortunately we were not satisfied with our visit. There were two of us and the service was neither friendly nor attentive, but seemed stressed. The portions were very small and there was no trace of the typical Greek warmth

We had a terrible visit to this restaurant, which turned out to be completely child-unfriendly. As soon as we arrived, we were unkindly informed that there was no playground here, even though our two small children were with us at all times. The staff was extremely rude and impolite. The chairs were more reminiscent of a run-down pub at the main train station than of a cozy restaurant. To make matters worse, there was no soap in the toilet. When we finally had enough and wanted to leave, we expressed our dissatisfaction. Several employees discussed anti-social behavior with us. Absolutely not recommended! Never again!

Value for money not given at all (additionally: prices on the internet did not match the current menu). We actually wanted to order drinks again, but the service stopped coming. Overall, we weren't impressed at all, neither in terms of taste nor in terms of service.

Boss was nice. Our young waitress (male) was arrogant. I probably wanted to be funny, but it wasn't a laughing matter. Price performance is not quite right. Even if there is a higher VAT, it is not entirely understandable. The interior is comfortable but the armchairs/chairs are a bit worn out. Armchairs/chairs aren't visually attractive, but it's better to be that way than uncomfortable. The winter garden is modern and bright but a bit fresh (draught in some places.) Toilets in the basement. Let's put it this way... it was our first time there... maybe. we had a bad day. E.g. All three of us had the baby calamari for the main course. Tasted good but different quantities. There is a salad with them but it is unmarinated and the bowls are too small to dress yourself. I'm a bit torn...if you order gyros or something, you might eat it. Maybe give it a try and it will become your favorite. But we're not coming anymore. Sorry

The food was good, but the service was extremely poor and disrespectful. We visited with children, and the waiter informed us that they do not offer food for kids, because it is a restaurant, implying that children should only eat at home. Additionally, due to our dissatisfaction with the general attitude, the waiter falsely claimed that tipping was mandatory. I believe the issue was with this specific waiter. Although the food was good, it was extremely overpriced.

If you haven't eaten here yet, you should do so as soon as possible. Kyano is more than a great restaurant. The visit always feels like a little vacation. The food is fantastic. Quality is still important here. The service leaves nothing to be desired. Big praise to the whole team. Keep it up!

Gyros clearly overpriced! €19.50 and only the choice of side dish: fries OR salad. As if a portion of fries were so reflected in the price. This is absolutely incomprehensible. Ist immer wieder einen Kulinarischen Besuch wert.War mit einem befreundeten Rechtsanwalt zum Mittagessen und der Chef des Hause hat uns ein fulminantes Menü zusammengestellt.Die Vorspeisen waren ein Gedicht🙏👍 und das Lamm ein Wahnsinn (ich habe das Schweigen der Lämmer gehört😉😉). Zu empfehlen ist unbedingt das kredenzte Olivenoel- wahrlich ein Genuss.

Wir sind früher oft ins Kyano gegangen und waren vom Essen begeistert, trotz der etwas höheren Preise, denn diese waren mehr als gerechtfertigt. Doch dieses Mal hat es nicht mehr gestimmt. Die Vorspeisen sind einfach preislich überteuert für das, was man bekommt. Zwei Scheiben Aubergine und ein Stückchen Käse, einfach gebraten, kein großer Aufwand und viel zu teuer. Der Salat aus roter Beete mit zwei hauchdünnen Scheiben Manourikäse ist dafür völlig überteuert mit 17,50 Euro. Doch die absolute Frechheit ist der Oktopus - vielmehr ein mittelfingerlanges Stückchen Oktopus für 22,50 Euro - garniert mit 3 Stängelchen Ruccola!!!!!! Die Beilagen zum Bifteki waren kalt und die Kartoffeln waren dazu auch noch trocken und abgestanden. Alles in allem - wir essen dort nicht mehr! Für dieses Geld sitzt man lieber auf gepflegten Stühlen und isst Speisen, die dem Preis angemessen sind. Was früher ein Edelgrieche war, hinterlässt jetzt den Eindruck, dass die Besitzer kein Lust mehr haben. Das zeigt sich auch an den durchgescheuerten Stühlen.

Honestly, the eye is with... but not here. Serving gyros flat with a dollop of tzatziki without any other side dish and a small side salad is cheeky. The same is true with calamari. The price is not justified for such portion sizes and variations.

Haven't been to a bad Greek restaurant yet. Food was not at all edible. Also very overpriced. In Munich at the Viktualien Markt, the prices are lower and the quality is better. Service, very snooty, has no idea how to behave with customers. Ambience okay, but uncomfortable to sit in and very annoying music background sometimes louder, then quieter again. Nobody understood what it was supposed to be like. We will definitely not come back and will not recommend it to anyone.
