Simply fantastic! We visited Kyklos in Munich and were completely thrilled – from the friendly service to the authentic Greek food. Everything was fresh, lovingly prepared, and incredibly delicious. I'd especially like to highlight the hospitality – at the end, they even gave us a glass of ouzo on the house! 🥂 A truly lovely gesture that rounded off the evening perfectly. We'll definitely be back – an absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to experience true Greek flair in the heart of Munich! 🇬🇷

My boyfriend and I spontaneously stopped by on a Sunday and were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The food and drink selection is very diverse, with something for everyone. Greek dishes with German descriptions. The portions are a normal size, so it's not too much, and you can order several things at once. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the delicious smell coming from the kitchen filled us, and the food was excellent. The price is totally reasonable and it's definitely worth it! I'm now completely disappointed with this restaurant! The quality of the food is getting worse and worse. Today I had almost raw potatoes, and the souvlaki skewer used to be nice and lean and tender, but now half of it is pure fat and is also too black for my taste... This hasn't just started today; I've had it every time recently. This restaurant was my favorite place in Munich for a long time, and since I live around the corner, it's super convenient, but enough is enough... The only bright spot, and I appreciate it, is that I wasn't charged for the meal after I complained.

Hello everyone, we visited the restaurant on a Thursday in August. Overall, it was okay. But there are better Greek restaurants. The cold appetizer platter for two costs €29 and consists of the two red peppers with some cow's feta, these two baked feta cheeses, nine thin slices of eggplant, pickled artichokes, and two dollops of tzatziki. The hot appetizer platter was similar. We would have preferred more in terms of flavor and quantity. Especially since the waiter said the platters were very large. What a shame.

Terrible review! I don't think the older man who served us has ever worked in a restaurant! He allows himself to make inappropriate jokes with people he doesn't know, he delivers the food and drinks and leaves them wherever he can, and when it comes time to pay, he doesn't know what the guests ordered! The food seems reheated and not freshly cooked (overcooked rice, soggy fries!)! The baclava with soft filo pastry and butter floating in it, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream (of terrible quality!) was abominable! The €1.50 tip we left was even generous compared to the treatment I received! They'll never see me again!

I can only say positive things about the restaurant. And anyone who doesn't like the ambiance should just go to the restaurant where it's located. There, they can pay for the ambiance.

I'd really like to write a positive review, but unfortunately I can't because the staff wasn't friendly to us. We sat down at a table that had just been vacated. It's only natural that you clean the table after clearing it. That wasn't the case, and I should have asked specifically. The server didn't wipe the table properly either. A piece of food got thrown onto my T-shirt.

A down-to-earth, traditional Greek restaurant in Neuhausen. The food was very good, but there weren't many truly good side dishes. Instead of rice, potatoes, and vegetables, it would have been better to have just two side dishes and a bit more of each. The wait was long, and the service barely earned four stars. But the food has decreased significantly and you have the feeling that it is getting a little more expensive every time the portions get smaller. You can now also see this in the number of guests: there are fewer and fewer. I hope that they get things back on track at some point. It will only be difficult to retain regular customers in the long term if you rely on a previously very good name with constantly declining performance. Especially because another Greek restaurant opened nearby, which isn't necessarily bad. Update: There are new tenants and the food has become bigger and better again. Very beautiful picturesque Greek tavern with wonderful meats, appetizers, salads and traditional Greek food such as moussaka, pastitsio, yuvetsi etc. Everything we tried was perfect! We were completely satisfied!!!!

Never again. We were there with 5 people. Ordered various dishes. Served far too quickly and unfortunately cold. Had to go into the microphone again. Everything is very loveless. Too expensive. Horrible in taste. Oily lettuce. The mousaka like sheet cake served without sauce. Better a Greek restaurant that hasn't been around in Munich for over 50 years.

First of all, the food is quite tasty. However, if you order a grill platter including lamb, but then (dry) turkey is served instead of the lamb without prior agreement and full awareness that what you ordered will not be delivered, then I miss the respect and appreciation that I expect as a guest. If the only reluctant response to my complaint is to offer us dessert as compensation, then that is not worthy of a host. When the waiter brings the drinks and doesn't know what's in which glass, I find it embarrassing. In short, Kyklos is not a place we will go in the future. It's a shame considering what the restaurant used to be like.

I had a wonderful evening today, luckily it wasn't that crowded and we were down in the basement. After reading the reviews, I was a little confused about the portion size. However, this was immediately reversed when we received 2 huge plates full of bifteki and turkey suvlaki. The grilled meat was great. The side dishes lacked a bit of flavor. Overall, we are still satisfied. At the end the waiter offered us an ouzo on the house, which we politely declined.

The food was very good, but could perhaps have used a little more seasoning in some places. At least that's what I know from traditional Greek cuisine! Great Taramas! In summer there is a very nice outdoor area under old trees. Because the restaurant is usually in the basement next to it, the distances are long and you should be patient. No problem for us, as long as you don't get overlooked when it comes to drinks... Still very friendly and open to all questions. Better reserve! PLV Munich-like! Gladly again!

It was our first time in this tavern. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was quite good, but it wasn't enough for me. I had gyros, there was enough meat on the plate, but one and a half potato wedges? Are you really serious? Really how much do potatoes cost? Is it too much to ask that one main course fill you up? I had to order more to fill up. There are better Greeks in Munich, it's a shame.

Half of the cherry tomato and 1 wheel of cucumber... less is not possible, sorry... service was rather apathetic... only the young guy from the kitchen was very attentive. After a year of living in Munich, I finally found and ate my favorite pasticcio food! Excellent restaurant, fast service, delicious food.

We have known Kyklos for 23 years. Unfortunately, things have gotten worse in recent years. We were here for the last time on Saturday. There were seven of us, including three children. The waiter was totally annoyed by questions. Sometimes he just ignored us. We asked for a good white wine and were hoping for advice, or at least a recommendation. Unfortunately the waiter had no idea. He then offered us the most expensive one as a flat rate because it was probably the best. So far so good, then the food arrived. Gyros was in the expected range, not particularly good or particularly bad. But the baby calamari lived up to its name. 4 small calamari and the rest of the plate filled with dry rice. You don't even want to know the price. The salads were small and hardly varied. When he asked at the end if everything was ok, we said that the food was not good and dry. He shrugged and said OK. After we paid by card and still gave a generous tip, the waiter managed to say a dry “Thank you”. no goodbye or at least an ouzo? I'm going somewhere else from now on. Sounds similar, it's nearby, great food and, above all, always nice waiters. Salute, all the best

The best Greek restaurant in Germany. The food was like back home, the drinks authentic and above all, the staff are some of the most hospitable I’ve ever seen! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to eat some authentic Greek food. Don’t forget to taste the lamb neck, actually anything lamb, drink some retsina and beet salad.

Super tasty gyros, friendly service, food was served very quickly after ordering. Special requests with additional rice and tzatziki were possible. There was a lot of gyro meat on the plate. There were a few side dishes for the large amount of meat. Very good and the prices are reasonable for Munich standards. The beer garden is TOP. The restaurant is in the middle of the city near Donnerstberger Bridge, in a residential area and therefore super quiet. There is a public playground right next door, some of which you can see from the beer garden. So you keep an eye on the children. So the beer garden is worth a visit.

The restaurant, located in a cellar, is cozy. The service is friendly and helpful. The food we ordered was very tasty. There is also an outdoor area that we unfortunately couldn't use because of the cool weather that evening. You should make a reservation

Attempted fraud when paying, service subpar, food average. Borderline criminal. The description of the process here under my comment from the owner is a blatant lie, and there are also witnesses to the attempted fraud by the supposedly “a new employee”. Legal action will follow, I don't have to accept the accusation of lying after an honest review of an evening with poor service and unfriendly and attentive waiters (who bring parts of the food after the main course because I forgot twice).

We have 2 hours. Waited for food and the service was a disaster and also made stupid comments to guests. Disasters locally the worst!!!!

I ordered a meal to be picked up. After paying, I only noticed outside that I had been overcharged. After I went back and told the employee, he said succinctly "old online map with old prices". Sorry, but is it still possible? If you order by phone, you should always list the current prices online or at least let me know over the phone that the prices have changed. Only after repeated requests did the employee give in and give me back the money I had overpaid. As a further comment, the employee only said: "I don't know, old map" Sorry, but this is fraud and deceitful! PS: I also paid by card and it didn't work the first time, even though I entered the correct PIN. After the employee brought a new reader, he said briskly: “Yes, you entered the wrong PIN”. Um, no I didn't! In other comments you can also read that the card reader sometimes doesn't work. I would like you to change the prices online immediately to the actual prices and to have an employee interview. Otherwise the food was good!

We visited the taverna for the first time with friends. We all had different starters and main courses. I think the portions were mediocre compared to other Greek places. However, the taste of the food was good. The service was good, but just like the portions, it was better in “Tou Bakali” (on Fürstenrieder Straße) or in “Taverna Melina” (Maistraße). I found the ambience to be rather austere, but the flickering fireplace had something homely about it.

Wir waren Samstagabend wie seit den 80ern schon unzählige Male zu sechst zum Essen hier. Leider war es diesmal unerfreulich. Die Akustik macht eine Unterhaltung nahezu unmöglich. Der Service zuvorkommend und unaufdringlich angenehm. Die Calamares qualitativ unterdurchschnittlich, nur mit kleinem Salat und deutlich zu wenige. Anstelle der angekündigten Knoblauchsauce nur der übliche Zatziki. Da hätten wir uns lecker frisches Gemüse dazu gewünscht. Das Moussaka relativ fade gewürzt und wohl nicht mehr ganz frisch. Es hat sich nachts deutlich im Magen gemeldet. Die Lammgerichte waren gut und ausreichend um satt zu werden. Insgesamt hat der Abend unsere Erwartungen enttäuscht. Das nächste Mal nur im Biergarten. Im Winter definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Der Service war nicht in Ordnung. Der Gesichtsausdruck, als ich sagte, ich wäre alleine da, verhies schon nichts Gutes. Getränk und Essen kamen schnell, war auch grundsätzlich lecker, Preis-Leistung diskutabel. Dass ich die ~20 Eur dann mit Karte zahlen wollte, was offensichtlich nicht im BG sondern nur unten im Restaurant geht, war für den Kellner scheinbar zu viel. Erst hörte er auf mich zu Siezen( "dann komm jetzt mit runter"), dann dürfte ich mir auf dem Weg nach unten noch genervte Kommentare wie "Meine Güte" anhören. Mein Feedback dazu wurde dann mit etwas wie "ist doch alles gut" abgetan. Schade, ich war bis dato gerne dort.

Waren abends zeitig im Biergarten. Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen. Getränke kamen zügig. Essen hat etwas länger gedauert. Im Biergarten war aber noch wenig los. Calamares vom Grill mit krass bitterer und viel zu viel Knoblauchsauce, die auch im kompletten Reis verteilt war. Meinem Sohn hat es überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, hat nur das Brot, welches am Anfang auf den Tisch gestellt wurde gegessen. Portionen eher klein. Ein Gericht wurde erst mal vergessen, kam aber dann sehr zügig. Vorspeisenteller lieblos mit ein paar Aufstrichen. Leider war kein Brot mehr da, es wurde bereits vorher gegessen, da wir ja lange warten mussten. Es kam auch niemand mehr um nachzufragen, ob noch etwas fehlt oder noch Getränke oder Nachspeisen gewünscht sind. Alles in allem Essen nichts besonderes, Service unaufmerksam, Preis/Leistung passt für mich nicht.
