Very good cuisine, very friendly staff, we felt very comfortable

The staff was polite and helpful, responding quickly to our orders. I was impressed with their knowledge of the menu and their suggestions. Also, the menu had a wide variety and the dishes were well thought out both in taste and presentation. The ingredients seemed fresh, and I particularly liked the steaks, which were extremely tasty.

Spontaneously returned. Good food, nice service - fits. Prices okay. Personally, I prefer to sit inside even in summer, as the outside area at the intersection can be very noisy.

The food was really delicious, the service was good too, food came quickly. BUT there was no tzatziki with the Poseidon plate with a lot of meat, so we ordered a portion of tzatziki and were charged €7.50 for it...that's a rip-off!!... We actually wanted to come back, but looking at the bill spoiled our appetite for another visit. It's a shame, €7.50 for about 6 tablespoons of tzatziki is not justified!! Above all, it's strange that the Poseidon plate doesn't come with tzatziki from the start and that if you order tzatziki it's so incredibly expensive...

Fantastic food and warm atmosphere! I loved my visit to this Greek restaurant. The food was fresh, authentic and incredibly tasty. The lamb shank in particular was excellently prepared – simply a delight! An obligatory ouzo for us adults and a non-alcoholic version for our little daughter were included on the house! The ambience was cozy and inviting, and the Greek music in the background created a great atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit! Our voucher from the BMY book was taken into account without any problems.

The food is very good. I like going to Poseidon because - unlike many other Greek restaurants - they also have vegetarian main dishes. However, it is completely incomprehensible that a vegetarian dish does not include salad. The price difference between vegetarian and meat dishes is very small. Baked mushrooms without salad cost 15 euros. For this price there should be a salad. Many meat dishes are served WITH salad for only 3 euros more. This is incomprehensible and should urgently be changed.

Food was good. The service was careful and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is easy to reach by public transport. Here you can have the delicious ouzo before your meal. (Unfortunately this is often already being saved in some restaurants today). We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon.

The shop is fantastic and the staff happy and very friendly. In relation to price quality, there is no debate, good prices, large portions and excellent food quality. We came to Munich and we have been coming here continuously for five days.

Excellent dishes, inspired by the Greek culture and mentality but which have been exceptionally combined with German touches. All this contributes to an excellent result both in terms of the atmosphere and the taste of the dishes. Also the staff was indescribably friendly but within professional contexts.

Nice Greek restaurant. On the way north we pulled off the highway briefly and had lunch here. It tasted excellent and the price-performance ratio was surprisingly good. Highly recommended.

Down-to-earth with very good cuisine and wonderfully friendly staff. A restaurant where you can meet real Munich residents and others alike and where you can also talk to the people sitting next to you and stay seated! I'll definitely come back again

1. Staff was friendly. 2. Our dishes were huge disappointments. The vegetables: potatoes and carrots were raw and partly cold on my side (warm on the outside and cold inside) ; on my wife's side, all of them were cold though the plate was hot. *We mentioned the issue and the kitchen kindly gave us a small new plate of well-cooked veggies. Delicious but they charged extra for it. 3. The fishes were nice ingredients but the whole "burnt" flavour was stronger than the fish's fresh flavour. Worst situation in the meal time was the unavoidable mix between all those big black burnt bits with every bite of fish. No this is not normal in comparison with the other charcoal-grilled Greek dishes. These really stayed way too long on the grill😂 Please try to understand instead of telling us "This is how we do stuff". 4. We were in this restaurant once or twice a year before this and we always had good impressions. This time both dishes simply got messed up. Maybe Mittagsmenu is a better choice(?) *We waited for 20 mins for the honestly burnt fishes and the hard/raw "cooked" veggies. That was frustrating.. 5. Baklava was delicious :) Thank you.

I came alone with a gourmet block without a reservation to the already very busy restaurant, was greeted very friendly and was given an ouzo straight away. The food was very tasty and came quickly. I was pleased that several dishes with turkey/chicken were offered. I will come again, next time with company and without a gourmet block.

Wow. This is a great restaurant. The atmosphere is super cozy and inviting. The team is friendly, courteous, experienced and warm. That's how I imagine it - I felt like I was in good hands. The food was super tasty and the portions were just right! You had those typical grilled flavors, just as perfect juiciness and perfect doneness. So really, really good. I found the tomato rice to be super delicate, the tzatziki very creamy and still hearty. Great. So all in all perfect. Oh, the price. Yes, perfect price/performance ratio.

The Poseidon Restaurant offers a delicious grilled Cretan platter with fresh seafood and fish, accompanied by tasty side dishes such as buttered potatoes and mixed salad. The chicken salad and the selection of alcoholic drinks such as red wine and ouzo complete the dining experience.

There were 7 of us here and no one liked it! The drinks were lacquer and there was maybe 1 drop of apple juice in the apple spritzer. The salad was carelessly prepared with huge leaves. Dressing was absolutely tasteless. Gyros gratinated with cheese inedible! Endless gristle, cheese rock hard and the sauce, like the salad, tasted like nothing at all. Souflaki skewers for the son were fried twice to death and were therefore as dry as the desert. Not even the fries tasted good. Another negative thing that caught our attention was the service staff, who stood outside the door smoking and greeting us with fog... The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. Toilets were clean.

Sitting outside in summer is great. It's nice inside too, but it can't be compared. The food is always as it should be - simply good. In contrast to many other restaurants in the chain, the use of salt here is just right and not over-salted! The service is typically Greek - friendly, courteous, attentive but never intrusive! You feel bad - nothing to drink. The innkeeper refused without listening. Despite the fact that other guests still had full drinks at the table.

We felt very comfortable and ate quite well, even if it was "just starters". What actually shocked us was the price of €10.20 for a wine spritzer. that is not realistic for us. We are fully aware that gastronomy should and must survive, but not for such a price for drinks.

The food tasted 5 stars but I got food poisoning so bad it was coming out of both ends of my body. Suffering all night :(

Hmmm... it was a special treat again... the food is always very good and very fresh! I almost always eat the lamb shank here. Prepared in different ways. It always tastes good! I will eat here more often this summer.

The gyros were well, the coleslaw was too sour, the salad was too sweet and to make matters worse, the food ordered from other tables was served almost twice. Unfortunately, a waiting time of over 45 minutes for this service is not sufficient. Sorry

If you eat at Poseidon, you should definitely stay away from the warm "platter" for a mere 12 euros. A joke. Of 6 small ceramic pots, one has a slice of cucumber and a slice of tomato (I can still get over it because, hey! Vitamins and stuff...). However, 3 pots were filled with lovelessly and tastelessly fried eggplant and zucchini slices. I even had to add salt to it. Profit = cost of goods sold x 100, variety = 0, never deserves the name “plate”. “Fried, boring vegetables with stuff on the side” would have been honest. In another pot, two small warm grape leaves with dill sauce, in the last one a fried piece of crab meat (the things that you can buy frozen everywhere, with scissors) and a piece of puff pastry filled with feta. After I answered the waiter something other than "yes" when asked if everything would be right and she didn't understand, the second, friendly waiter came and confirmed my disappointment by saying that the cold plate would have been better!! !??? What's up, guys? Interesting statement! There is one more star because I got an ouzo on the house at the beginning and the garlic pita was not below average. I got involved in the old spade-g'washing. This is not included in my rating. ;) If you want to throw away your hard-earned money on below-average food, you're in good hands here. Regarding the warm “plate”. I don't feel like doing the rest anymore.
