Bifteki and ouzo don't just come to the table here, they dance! Juicy, spicy, and convincing with Greek honesty. And the team: genuinely committed, charmingly chaotic – almost like a long-lost family member at the grill. It seems to be a true family business. The outdoor seating is also very nice. We'll be back again and again. I recommend gigantes or rice as a side dish.

I visited the Greek restaurant on a Friday evening and reserved a table in advance. I recommend doing so, as the place was packed and customers started being turned away after 7 p.m. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the ambiance lovely. We sat outside in the beautiful weather, and the main road wasn't a problem thanks to the large hedge. Parking is difficult, as there are very few spaces. We will be back.

I've been a guest at Santorini for over 10 years. The dishes are excellent and the portions generous. The prices have remained stable even after the coronavirus pandemic. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, they're closed on Mondays.

From the travel and restaurant expert: I ate here with four other people. My first impression, the ambiance, was not disappointing. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, and the food was also pleasing to the eye. Service was very friendly and quick. There's still room for improvement regarding the children's menu. Please consider the age of the young guest when it comes to seasoning and quantity. Overall, highly recommended!

We ordered takeout. The food was okay, but the portions were too small for the price. Unfortunately, the dish didn't even come with tzatziki, which was very dry. Normally, they always serve a portion of tzatziki, but that wasn't the case at the Greek restaurant, which is a shame. The staff is nice.

It was our first time there and our last time... As soon as we walked in, the reception was very cool. This continued throughout the evening. Long waiting times, out of 4 dishes ordered, one was too salty and the minced steak was not cooked through. Even the second time, it was still not completely through in the middle. No trace of insight. The waitress wasn't particularly interested either (the one with the black hair). The other two dishes were okay, but not a highlight either. Only the smaller waitress with the red hair tried very hard and apologized to us a thousand times. But the bottom line is that it didn't ensure that we would come back again. There are simply better alternatives when it comes to Greek restaurants. Too bad. Edit: The discount was only given upon request. An accommodating approach, even if only with emphasis. I'll ignore the issue of larger society. That was also rather unusual. And no, of course I won't delete the review. The impression from yesterday is confirmed here.

I've been a regular there for years!

My review was deleted twice - why? Food was mediocre. Far too little tzatziki as the usual standard side dish for gyros and souflaki. Here there was only a dollop with the obligatory small salad. I didn't like the fries. Tip: Better these flat twisted or normal steak house fries I thought Ouzo was nice beforehand and again at the end. Somewhere between 2-3 stars.

Went here based on the reviews... The lady with the red hair was super friendly and then her colleague came and took over! Absolutely rude, the water bottle and glasses were carelessly placed on the table - no pouring, etc. The main dishes were pushed into your hand without paying attention to whether you even had the plate in your hand. The service with the black hair was probably not friendly at the start today... Really a shame! The rest of the staff at least wished us a happy new year. Too bad...

The food always impresses with its excellent quality and has always been served to our complete satisfaction. The service staff occasionally leave a somewhat unmotivated or stressed impression, but this is not always noticeable and only slightly spoils the overall impression. The overall atmosphere is very inviting, especially in the outdoor area. When the store is busy, it can get a bit noisy, but this is due to the lively atmosphere.

Unfortunately I didn't find the gyros tasty. It didn't seem fried but rather warmed up. There is only a small dollop of tzatziki on the salad plate. Since it had already been cleared away, we got a replacement without any problems. But as I said, the quality didn't convince me at all

The gyro meat was really disgusting. The consistency and color of the meat was not good. Plus it wasn't crispy at all. The service is nice, but with a bottle of wine and water, you can assume that it will be poured and you don't have to do it yourself. The dish “Gyros in Metaxa sauce” also didn’t taste good at all. The sauce was more like a soup. It was floating in the baking dish. The waitress asked us if it didn't taste good and after we said that the meat was disgusting and that we were disappointed, the plates were just taken away without comment. Since I live in the neighborhood, I have often pre-ordered something to pick up. The quality was always great, I resigned myself to always ordering a portion of tzatziki with the 2 gyro plates because otherwise it wasn't even remotely enough. Now for the last time I/we paid €33.50 for the two plates and the pot of tzatziki, so far so good, I knew that beforehand. However, the portions have become so small that I am no longer full from one plate, really not. The packaging was very light when lifted and when opened it was disappointingly low filled. I'll definitely stop by again, let's see how often.

Hier erhält man einen Mittagstisch für € 10,00 / Person. Dafür erhielten wir vorweg Weißbrot und eine pikante Gemüsesuppe. Der Gastraum ist sauber, hell und freundlich. An den Wänden Bilder von kulturellen Sehenswürdigkeiten aus Griechenland. Auf dem Plasma-Bildschirm flackert ein Kaminfeuer. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Unser Gyros mit Pommes und Tzaziki war richtig gut. An den Pommes fehlte nur Salz. Der Krautsalat extra kostete € 9,00. Das war im Verhältnis zum Hauptgericht von nur € 10,00 sehr sportlich. Der griech. weiße Hauswein ging nicht runter. Hätten wir nicht probieren sollen. Ansonsten war alles OK.

From the outside it looks like an upscale restaurant, from the inside it's a better takeaway. No tablecloths, candles or flowers, old wooden tables and wooden chairs. Food OK, but you have to order extra tzatziki for the main course Olypu plate. The food was nothing special, you can also get it in a good snack bar. So conclusion for New Year's Eve, you'd better go to Fibigerstrasse, it's really a Greek place. Service was tried hard.

Taverna Santorini transported my taste buds to the diversity of Greek cuisine. The tomato soup with pasta starter proved to be an excellent introduction, followed by a creative twist with the Viennese schnitzel made with chicken and fries - a delicate combination that tantalized the palate. The salad, consisting of coleslaw, tzatziki and olives, added a refreshing accent and harmonized perfectly with the main course. Each bite was characterized by carefully selected ingredients that gave an authentic taste. The dessert, with three tempting ice cream scoops in the flavors chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, was the sweet highlight. Unfortunately, the peppermint tea was only available in bag form, but it still helped to complete the dining experience. The welcoming atmosphere at Taverna Santorini and the attentive service contributed significantly to making my gastronomic evening an unforgettable pleasure. A harmonious interplay of flavors that made this visit a true feast for the palate.

Unfreundliche Bedienung und Zurückweisung, weil die Öffnungszeiten nicht eingehalten wurden. 30 Minuten zu früh, alles war da Personal musste noch ausruhen.

Wir waren das erste Mal in der Taverna Santorini, da es bei uns fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Der Service war sehr nett, familiär und das Essen war sehr gut und schnell da. Man hätte das Gefühl, dass sehr viele Stammgäste dort waren und immer gerne wieder kommen. Preis Leistung ist auch absolut fair für die gebotene Qualität. Es wird auf jeden Fall nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Wir sind jetzt das 3.Mal hier gewesen und sind begeistert. Das Lokal lädt ein durch seine Gemütlichkeit , sein Ambiente und die wirklich leckeren Speisen , die man im Sommer auch draussen geniessen Kann. Kostas und Vivi sind aufmerksam und fix . Nur das Aufsuchen der Waschräume könnte zum Disaster werden , da direkt hinter der Tür sofort die doch ziemlich steile Treppe beginnt. Ein Hinweisschild wäre für Erstbesucher super . Der Service war leider nicht sonderlich gut. Schon zu Beginn war der Kellner nicht wirklich freundlich, brachte uns nicht an den Platz, sondern wies uns nur "hinten rechts" den Tisch zu. Beim Servieren des Salates konnte die Bedienung leider auch zu keiner Zeit lächeln. Der Krautsalat war wenig und sehr gelblich, wahrscheinlich stand dieser längere Zeit ungekühlt in der Küche. Gyros mit Metaxa und Käse überbacken war ebenfalls nicht gut. Die Sauce war total wässrig und geschmacksneutral. Gyros teilweise angebrannt und zäh. Portion klein, Pommes sehr wenig und ohne Tzatziki. Dieses war als kleiner Klecks beim Salat dabei. Für diesen Preis (17€) würden wir mehr erwarten. Daher leider keine Empfehlung.

Wir sind seit 2009 Stammkunden im Santorini. Und wir sind da noch nie enttäuscht worden! Gutes, realistisch gepreistes griechisches Essen und toller, familiärer Service. Schön ist zu sehen, wie die Inhaber mit Kindern umgehen! Atmosphäre stimmt, und die Preise sind fair bei der gebotenen Qualität, insbesondere beim Lamm. Auf Nachfrage gibt es auch besten griechischen Wein (sorry UJ 😉), wenn in der Gegend und noch nicht ausprobiert, machen.

Nach der Lockerung ist Hamburgs bester Grieche wieder am Start. Überragende Fleischqualität perfekt zubereitet. Die Gastgeber immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wegen Corona haben wir Gyros bestellt und abgeholt. Das Fleisch war in sehr großen Fladen abgeschnitten und lieblos in den Transportbehaelter gepackt. Wir hatten Pommes bestellt, haben jedoch aufgewärmte und geschmacklose Salzkartoffeln bekommen. Das Personal war unfreundlich. Nie wieder.

Wir waren mit 5 Personen dort und wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auch das Essen wurde schnell serviert, war frisch zubereitet und von hervorragender Qualität. Insbesondere das Gyros und die Lammkoteletts sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind sehr angemessen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Nach Lockdown wegen Coronavirus-Zeiten sind wir auf einem Montag hierhin nach mehr als 2 Jahren zurückgekehrt. Drinnen hat man jetzt als Coronavirus Schutzmaßnahmen die Sitzabteile mit Plastikfolien abgeklebt. Aus der Speisekarte bestellen wir Tzatziki (4,00 €), Tomatensaft (2,60 €), Mousaka (13,90 € !), eine Flasche Amathystos Rotwein, ( 29,00 €), und Pastizio. Nun erfahre ich vom Mitarbeiter mit Bart, dass dies nicht verfügbar sei. So ändere ich die Bestellung in Scampis in Tomatensoße ab (18,60 €). Vom Haus gab es zur Begrüßung zwei Ouzo. Nach einer Weile kommt eine junge Dame an den Tisch, grüßt nicht und fragt nur wörtlich: "Scampis?" Ich war irritiert und dachte, so schnell können die das Hauptgericht zubereiten? Doch die Mitarbeiterin wollte nur 2 Salatteller servieren. Das Grüßen von Gästen schien ihr unbekannt zu sein. Mein Salatteller war am Rand mit vielen fettigen Fingerabdrücken übersät! Teuren Wein nachschenken ist hier Selbstbedienung. Nach einer Weile erhalten wir die Hauptgerichte. Meine " Scampis " entpuppten sich als 5 kleine, tiefgefrorene, harte und trockene Garnelen. Die Miniportion Tomatensoße war zusammen mit Reis, Erbsen und Karotten aus der Dose geschmacklos zubereitet worden. Später kam der Mitarbeiter mit Bart und fragte nach meiner Zufriedenheit. Ich beantwortete die Frage detailliert. Seine Antwort überraschte mich nicht! "Das Gericht bereiten wir immer so zu." Was soll also diese rhetorische Frage. Unabhängig davon weiß ich, dass dieses Gericht in diesem Restaurant vor Jahren besser und anders zubereitet wurde. Es scheint hier das Personal gewechselt zu haben. Fazit: Präsentation von Speisen: 1-2 Punkte Qualität und Zubereitung der Speisen: 1 Punkt Preis-/Leistung: 1 Punkt Ambiente: 3 Punkte Service: 1 Punkt
