Not a classic Greek restaurant, no Greek music in the background, more modern - fitting for Eimsbüttel. I had gyros with fries, which I liked, but the meat could have been crispier. The small salad beforehand was very tasty, the tzatziki could do with more garlic. My husband's lamb was very tasty, tender and didn't have the typical lamb taste, which I don't like at all. All in all, you can eat good Greek food here 👍

Finally been there again after a long time, Christos and Alfonso do a good job and the food (in our case: grilled calamari + stifado) is again super delicious!! Well, of course the prices have now gone up and the portions are a little less, but that's the same as everywhere else 😉...

We have been to Samos three times, there is a dessert menu upon request. Without a reservation, we got a place during the week, whether as a group of three or two. Service was friendly, food came to the table quickly, atmosphere was good.

Yesterday we had dinner there with six people. As always, it was delicious. The starters creams, grilled calamari, zucchini fritters, pita bread were super delicious. The same was true for the main courses. Everything was hot and very tasty. Bifteki juicy breaded calamari, etc. Finally, the large dessert plate and everyone was happy. The waiters were super friendly and attentive. Thank you very much for the great hospitality. We had a wonderful evening.

Very good food, the service and the boss with his junior, simply top

As you can see, the baked potatoes are just jacket potatoes in oil and herbs. In the restaurant I would have sent it back to the kitchen to finish baking in the oven, but when you get it delivered you just have to see that hunger drives it in somehow. I can't say much about the service, except that the delivery was poorly packaged. I don't know the atmosphere in the restaurant.

Had dinner there with a colleague. We were lucky to get a table. Service is top Food was more than enough for the price or they have a good sense of what I can eat 🤭 Everything was clean. The shop is great, I would take my lamb chops there again but add a little more garlic to the tzatziki.

Yesterday we had dinner with 4 people at Samos on Osterstrasse. The 3 stars are for the food. The service deserves 0 stars, we haven't experienced anything so unfriendly and haphazard in a long time. Even though we live nearby, we won't be visiting Samos again.

Great concept that stands out from other Greek restaurants.

The Samos restaurant on Osterstrasse is highly recommended! We had a great spot outside in front of the TV for the European Championship game between Germany and Spain. The food was simply outstanding – fresh, tasty and authentically Greek. Despite the hustle and bustle that day, the atmosphere was great. The only small negative point was the Aperol Spritz, which could have been a little fuller and the service could have been a little more attentive. Nevertheless: a wonderful evening, we would love to come back!

We just had a good meal!!!! Thanks to the friendly service at the beginning. A very likeable young man, with roots in Albania, but born in Greece and in Germany for 3 years? Very nice and attentive! However, the young man who collected our Euro 200 bill was not that well trained. We paid in cash and when we wanted to see the bill he said that this information had to be entered first. This was only done at his “request”. I think it goes without saying that as a guest, regardless of whether you pay by card or in cash, you can expect the bill to be placed on the table before payment. Kind regards Klaus Schumann

The food was excellent. The menu includes more than gyros and fries and also tempts you to try the delicious specialties of Greek cuisine. The service was attentive and friendly. You can sit very comfortably both inside and outside.

Food tastes good, but it's not good. I'm from Bavaria from a small village and there is better Greek food there. Well, for 17.90€ Bifteki you definitely expected something good but you were disappointed. Here in Hamburg there is a Greek guy who really no one can top and I noticed that again today, well, hunger is satisfied, taste buds are unsatisfied. With the bifteki there was "oven potato" if you can even call it that, which was ultimately what I had in front of me (see photos). Portions are incredibly tiny for the price in my opinion. I don't think I have to say anything more about the picture with the €8.90 grilled vegetables, but I would like to point out that after a long search I finally found a small piece of eggplant (circled in red)... at least I think it is one . Conclusion: It was ok but the portions were too small.

I was really blown away by the quality of the food. A modern Greek restaurant in the heart of Eimsbüttel. Great ambience and very attentive service. Here are the highlights: -SAGANAKI (breaded feta) are THE hit here. The golden saganaki breaded feta loaded with sesame was simply a magical combination. The Pita tis Giagias (Puff pastry pockets filled with spinach and feta) were fresh and delicious. I haven't seen this anywhere else, so it's a pretty unique starter. -Tzatziki, Tirokafteri with pita. I think it's great that you have the opportunity to try new dips. The Chtpiti (spicy feta paste) was my favorite. - We had a platter of various delicacies. The chicken souvlaki and lamb souvlaki were juicy and grilled very nicely. The bifteki was crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. The grilled vegetables were very crunchy and fresh. -Let's come to my highlight: the cheese balls. Love it, crispy and full of cheese… a dream. We'll definitely be back.

Public transport/parking: Line U2 Osterstraße (approx. 500 m walk) Parking only possible on the street. Entrance area: Simple door, usable with assistance. Ambiance: Simple furnishings; has a lot of places; public cloakroom and child seats. Eat: I had the Mercedes record. Very tasty and enough for a small meal. Drink: Myth beer, since Alpha hasn't existed for a long time. The ouzo served is very good and tastefully follows the barrel ouzo that every taverna in Greece had. Of course there was also ouzo on the house. Service/Staff: There was only one waiter in the afternoon between 2 and 3 p.m., but he was very quick and attentive! Super great service! You feel very comfortable here as a guest! Prices: I spent a good €50 on good food and drink with a tip - which is okay. Firstly, quality and service always come at a cost - and I would have had to buy a whole bottle of ouzo to take home! Basically, I felt comfortable here as a guest! That's how it has to be in every restaurant. 🤗

Endlich ein authentisches, griechisches Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service hervorragend. Unbedingt für Vegetarier geeignet- es gibt nämlich nicht nur vegetarische Vorspeisen, sondern auch Hauptspeisen. Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin.

Danke für den schönen Abend! Heute haben wir in großer Runde den Geburtstag meiner Tochter im Samos gefeiert- Kleines, modernes griechisches Restaurant mit aufmerksamen, lieben & herzlichen Service. Top in Qualität, Preis-Leistung, Kreativität & Geschmack. Wir kommen wieder 🫶🏽

Ich habe hier ganz spontan für unsere standesamtliche Trauung für 25 Personen einen abgetrennten Bereich reservieren können. Das super freundliche Personal hat vor unserer Ankunft den Bereich entsprechend dekoriert, mit Ballons und wunderschönen Rosen auf den Tischen. Der Service war excellent und das Essen hat allen ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Vielen Dank nochmal an das gesamte Team!!!

Die Räumlichkeiten sind an sich sehr schick und modern. Leider hat es an unserem Tisch sehr gezogen sodass wir schnell gefroren haben. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Die Portionen waren angemessen groß und haben hervorragend geschmeckt! Obwohl wir reserviert hatten, mussten wir an einen anderen Tisch ziehen, was schon sehr unschön war. Außerdem war die uns dann bedienende Servicekraft sehr unfreundlich. Als wir unser Essen serviert bekamen, wurde uns nichtmal einen guten Appetit gewünscht. Erst als es um die Rechnung ging, wurde die Servicekraft nett. Die anderen Servicekräfte, die an unserem Tisch vorbeikamen waren dagegen sehr nett.

Donnerstag Abend ohne Reservierung haben wir einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Auswahl der Familienrezepte, von denen wir die Lammhaxe und das Mousaka (siehe Bilder). Etwas ungewöhnlich und so noch nie beim Griechen erlebt: es gab keinen Ouzo aufs Haus. Der Ouzo hätte das Erlebnis abgerundet. Das Bier wurde abzüglich der Schaumkrone leider nicht ganz bis an der Füllsteich gefüllt. Das Personal war zwar aufmerksam, aber wirkte bisschen unmotiviert. Das Mousaka war zwar lecker, aber von der Menge her überschaubar. Die Lammhaxe hingegen hat gut gesättigt. Durch die ganzen Kleinigkeiten leider nur 4 Sterne, obwohl das Essen selber absolut 5 Sterne verdient hätte.

Tolles griechisches Restaurant mit einer schönen Auswahl leckerer Speisen. Die eine oder andere Vorspeise habe ich vermisst, aber dafür werden generell viele tolle Mezedes und Suppen angeboten. Die Hauptspeisen-Auswahl ist sehr gut und mein Giros mit Chili-Cheese-Soße und die Kichererbsen schmeckten sehr gut und machten satt. Die beiden Brötchen vorweg schmeckten sehr gut. Der Salat genauso. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen sehr guten Mokka und ein Ouzo aufs Haus. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt und man kann hier gut essen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles im allen sehr empfehlenswert.

Heute waren wir zum ersten Mal im Samos, allerdings auch zum letzten Mal. Da es dem Koch in unserem Stammrestaurant leider nicht mehr gelingt die Speisen immer gleich zu zubereiten suchen wir nach Alternativen. Das Samos war unser 2. Versuch. Das Essen und der Service waren OK. Aber da das Restaurant nicht sehr groß ist war der Geräuschpegel schon sehr hoch. Wir haben auch nicht verstanden warum es zum Vorspeisensalat 2 trockene Brötchen gab.

Dem Essen fehlte die Würze und die Kellner wirkten genervt. Das kennen wir anders. Dem Restaurant fehlt das griechische Flair nach unserer Meinung
