Never again!!! I always loved eating there. I also ordered food for delivery every week. Like today… then I got the wrong order. These things happen. I was relaxed and called the restaurant to ask about my order and when it would be delivered. They rudely told me it was my problem and that I should contact Lieferando. I offered to have my paid-for food delivered by taxi at my own expense. They said that wasn't possible; I'd already received a delivery and there was nothing they could do!!! Terribly done, guys. You definitely won't be seeing me again. It's a shame, your food is really good, but you're amateurs and absolutely terrible hosts. Very unusual for Greeks…

It's a tough one for me. I'm not a huge fan of Greek food. But what I can say is that the service was friendly, and they offered small and large portions, which I thought was very fair. What I ate was good. But it was Greek, of course. 😂 I think anyone who likes Greek food will find a really good restaurant there.

The Greek cuisine is quite good, and the mother sometimes cooks exceptionally well, but lately the price and quantity no longer seem to be in harmony as they were before, which is a shame.

I like going here with my sister. Usually for lunch, and yesterday I went for dinner for the first time. The food is great, although they're more generous with the tzatziki at lunch than in the evening. Service could be a bit faster and more attentive, but otherwise, it's top-notch. I highly recommend it. 🫶🏻

I'm a regular at Samos. The food is simple but very good. The staff is always nice and friendly. I recommend it.

My friend's food was really good—fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my farmer's salad. For 14 euros, I got a small portion with a few cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, onions, and some feta—no salt, no lemon, or vinegar, just drenched in olive oil. No flavor, no spice, no love. And when I asked for lemon or vinegar, the waiter avoided giving me any, ultimately claiming that you have to eat the farmer's salad without lemons. 🙁 For that price, I expect more—not only better quality, but also more effort. So, unfortunately, this wasn't an authentic Greek experience, but more of a tourist menu without soul.

Very tasty and fresh food. Homemade pita and sauces. The shop advertises this. The family, which has been behind it for generations, is passionate about what they do. This is reflected in the food and service. Very attentive and competent service. You can feel the family atmosphere. I enjoy coming here for dinner, and the servers always have a relaxed chat. You feel very welcome and appreciated. I had lamb and chicken suvlaki with a bit of tomato and onion.

The waiter could have done with a bit more friendliness in the morning. The portions were smaller, but they were sufficient.

Wir hatten vegetarisches Briam und Gyros – beides super lecker, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders das Briam mit Feta war ein Highlight – ich liebe Feta einfach! 😍 Dazu ein nettes, entspanntes Ambiente mitten in Eimsbüttel und eine tolle Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Alles war aromatisch, die Portionen genau richtig, und der Service freundlich. 🌿🧀

Delivery was an absolute disaster. They lied on the phone saying the food was on its way, even though it wasn't. Unfriendly... definitely the last time.

We particularly liked the service and the quality of the food. The portions are a bit small, but sufficient and just right for us. You should arrive by public transport or bike, or be prepared to pay for parking. We can recommend the restaurant and will visit again. We're deducting one star because the prices are quite high for the portion sizes.

Last Tuesday we had a great event at the Greek Samos. Eating like in a Greek family in the village. Super cooked by chef Eleni and well served by Christos and his team. The live music created the right atmosphere. A beautiful evening!

I've been wanting to try this Greek restaurant for a long time because it was recommended to me. At the weekend I happened to be nearby and took advantage of the opportunity. I really liked it, the food was delicious and my companion's allergies were also taken into account. So we were able to relax and enjoy the meal. You can tell that the food here is really fresh and that everything is done with love. I'll definitely come back again🙂

The food was good to very good. The service was very nice. The ambience was good - we reserved a table for 5 people. It's a good idea to ask how long you can stay because the "store" was packed :-). There was a relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely go there again!

Not a classic Greek restaurant, no Greek music in the background, more modern - fitting for Eimsbüttel. I had gyros with fries, which I liked, but the meat could have been crispier. The small salad beforehand was very tasty, the tzatziki could do with more garlic. My husband's lamb was very tasty, tender and didn't have the typical lamb taste, which I don't like at all. All in all, you can eat good Greek food here 👍

It's a bit noisy because it's on a busy street. However, the food is very tasty and it is also a nice restaurant. The interior ambience is also a little loud, and when we visited again we had to wait 15 minutes in Laufstraße despite having a reservation

Finally been there again after a long time, Christos and Alfonso do a good job and the food (in our case: grilled calamari + stifado) is again super delicious!! Well, of course the prices have now gone up and the portions are a little less, but that's the same as everywhere else 😉...

We have been to Samos three times, there is a dessert menu upon request. Without a reservation, we got a place during the week, whether as a group of three or two. Service was friendly, food came to the table quickly, atmosphere was good.

Yesterday we had dinner there with six people. As always, it was delicious. The starters creams, grilled calamari, zucchini fritters, pita bread were super delicious. The same was true for the main courses. Everything was hot and very tasty. Bifteki juicy breaded calamari, etc. Finally, the large dessert plate and everyone was happy. The waiters were super friendly and attentive. Thank you very much for the great hospitality. We had a wonderful evening.

As you can see, the baked potatoes are just jacket potatoes in oil and herbs. In the restaurant I would have sent it back to the kitchen to finish baking in the oven, but when you get it delivered you just have to see that hunger drives it in somehow. I can't say much about the service, except that the delivery was poorly packaged. I don't know the atmosphere in the restaurant.

Had dinner there with a colleague. We were lucky to get a table. Service is top Food was more than enough for the price or they have a good sense of what I can eat 🤭 Everything was clean. The shop is great, I would take my lamb chops there again but add a little more garlic to the tzatziki.

Yesterday we had dinner with 4 people at Samos on Osterstrasse. The 3 stars are for the food. The service deserves 0 stars, we haven't experienced anything so unfriendly and haphazard in a long time. Even though we live nearby, we won't be visiting Samos again.

Great concept that stands out from other Greek restaurants.

The Samos restaurant on Osterstrasse is highly recommended! We had a great spot outside in front of the TV for the European Championship game between Germany and Spain. The food was simply outstanding – fresh, tasty and authentically Greek. Despite the hustle and bustle that day, the atmosphere was great. The only small negative point was the Aperol Spritz, which could have been a little fuller and the service could have been a little more attentive. Nevertheless: a wonderful evening, we would love to come back!

We just had a good meal!!!! Thanks to the friendly service at the beginning. A very likeable young man, with roots in Albania, but born in Greece and in Germany for 3 years? Very nice and attentive! However, the young man who collected our Euro 200 bill was not that well trained. We paid in cash and when we wanted to see the bill he said that this information had to be entered first. This was only done at his “request”. I think it goes without saying that as a guest, regardless of whether you pay by card or in cash, you can expect the bill to be placed on the table before payment. Kind regards Klaus Schumann

Too bad. It didn't even come to dinner. We had chosen a free seat and were then very rudely asked to wait 30 or yours. To eat. Even though the table wasn't reserved. And it's the only free spot in the sun. The request then came for 6 people to eat even though it consisted of 3x tables for 2. It was probably more important to hope that 6 people would come. Than the current customers. To use. Unprofessional, rude and even though it was very empty... you don't stay hip for long...
