MAM eat Greek in Hamburg

Gyros has almost no flavor and is relatively dry. The bread is far too soft and not rolled up very intelligently, so it's a huge piece of pork that you'll end up eating. The tzatziki is cold and also has little flavor. And to top it all off, they put fries in the pita. Seriously???? Fries??? They have absolutely no place in a pita. And calling yourself "eat Greek" is so out of place in this context.

The food is now only delivered cold, which is a shame. It's dry meat and mushy fries that aren't cooked properly. It used to be better, but in my opinion, it's deteriorated considerably. The portion size is okay for the price.

Super delicious food! No matter what you order here – it tastes great. The pasta and the chicken souvlaki are particularly delicious. And the entire staff is motivated and always in a good mood. Thank you!

One of the few restaurants in Hamburg that serves truly authentic Gyros Pita, as we know it from Greece. The other dishes, such as grill plates, are also of high quality at fair prices. Bravo sou, mom!

My first Greek kebab. A revelation, so to speak. I happened to pass by outside opening hours and saw the quality raw meat on the skewer. Pork and chicken. Coming back was very worth it! It was so delicious and juicy that I ordered a second one and took it home with me. Gladly again at any time!

The food was very tasty, but the service was a bit rushed and abrupt. Maybe it was because it was a bit crowded...

By far the best Greek in Hamburg, just like in the villages in Greece, pita and lamb chops are perfect!

Overall it was ok. Nothing new and is more of a snack bar. Price performance is quite ok. But it doesn't taste like an explosion either

My absolute favorite shop! We always take the pita halloumi with mayonaise instead of tzatziki. This is awesome. Whenever we are in St. Pauli we go to MAM. Seats are comfortable, service is friendly and the food is very good. We don't know of a better pita halloumi ❤️

Best Greek, so delicious, both the vegetarian options and the meat ones. Service is always so nice and prices are also reasonable for the level of taste and portions you get. You can't get past the shoulder blade without stopping here!

I found the food pretty expensive. €13 for a souvlaki plate and €7.5 for a veggie pita is a bit too much. And I don't find the portions huge. I would rank the place more towards "restaurant" than towards "imbiss". Having said that, the food is good (although not the best I tasted in my life), the menu has many nice options, the place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and they seem pretty well organized.

It tastes good but I find the meat a bit less compare to others I have had and for the price they're asking it is relatively small serving. I already had better ones.

Gyros plate is now a complete joke. Endless bread, the little bit of meat spread in between with the tzatziki. Probably an Anatolian recipe. New owners are a disaster.

A Greek self-service restaurant on the shoulder blade. Orders arrive directly at the counter. You can sit directly at the window facing the street or you can look for a quieter spot at the back. The pita is tasty, but at €8.20 it is also quite expensive (in my opinion). Otherwise good Greek food.

Very good Greek if you want to go quickly. Stable alternative to the surrounding kebab shops. The gyros with fries is a recommendation

I had lamb chops with a farmer's salad and drink for 35 euros. For that money you get generous portions of juicy, deliciously prepared chops. I was pleasantly surprised!

Unfortunately too expensive for the gyros portion with a bit of red onions, tomatoes, fries and gyros, unfortunately it wasn't well seasoned, it didn't taste good, I won't be back

Incredibly nice service and great food

Absolutely stable shed. After having delicious beers at 10 a.m. and some people losing their steadfastness after 4 p.m., we had to fortify ourselves. But no one expected it to be so delicious. Mega stable prices, outstanding portions and extremely tasty. I haven't eaten such juicy gyros in a long time. To cool down, a yeast, a little Becks or a Despe for the really crazy ones. Absolute recommendation.

Absoluut een aanrader voor een lekkere snelle hap. Het restaurant is wel zelf service, maar dit is prima. Na je bestelling pak je zelf je drinken uit de koelkast en krijg je een kastje mee. Zodra je eten klaar is gaat het kastje piepen en kan je het eten ophalen. Wij hebben heerlijke gyros gegeten.

Had a pita with gyros, coleslaw and tzatziki and a coke. The taste is quite good, but the price is extremely expensive.

We travelled with my husband from Mannheim to Hamburg. It's a long time that we had some good souvlaki because in Mannheim it's a disappointment. We found this place by coincidence and we decided to give it a go. Me as Greek, I can tell you that this was on of the best souvlaki I ever had outside of Greece. The quality was superb, the portions huge (we strangled to finish it) and the prices very reasonable. The owners and the staff was so friendly, they made me feel like I was at home. Highly recommended and on our next trip to Hamburg for sure we will visit it again. Bravo guys, that is an excellent representation of a Greek souvlaki. Keep up the amazing job 🥰

It's a very clean and fast self-service "street food" place. Portion is huge, side veggies are fresh, crispy fries and great meat. Sometimes the lamb is dry.. but out of 6-7 times, mostly great for its price.

I've been coming and eating here regularly for 6 years. For 6 years it hasn't even tasted bad. Pita with pork is simply unsurpassed. Better than any dürüm, kebap, shawarma or similar.

Omg halloumi souvlaki! I have no idea how, but they somehow packed everything I love about souvlaki into this cheese. In the pita with the perfect mix of creamy tzatziki, salad, fresh onions and a generous amount of fries. I didn't think I would get this taste again after I stopped eating meat. Transported me to Thessaloniki in my head, thank you for this moment. <3

Ordered online and within 40 minutes food arrived. Food was delicious and value for money. Thank you to the delivery driver. Food was still warm when arrived.

I bought Gyrospita and to take it with me, unfortunately the meat wasn't crispy and because there was so much sauce in it, the fries were soggy I've eaten it better somewhere else But the service staff was nice and the snack bar/restaurant also looks very cozy!

Everything is perfectly seasoned and perfectly prepared. Price performance is 100% right here! The staff is also very friendly. I'll probably become a regular customer :)

Freundliche Service am Tresen. Fleisch zu fettig, Pommes zu weich, Gemüse zu ölig. Gerne wieder! Aber dann alle Speisen getrennt auf den Teller. Nette Atmosphäre. Griechische Musik!

Nettes personal top Piga Gyros und alles clean sauber und jeder cent ist der ladent wert

Ich hatte eine Gyros Pita zum mitnehmen mit Huhn. Das war leider nix. Dem Fleisch fehlte die Würze und die Pommes in dieser gerollten Konstruktion hatten sich wohl verlaufen. Die haben darin nix verloren, da sie sich sofort mit dem Ketchup und dem Senf vollgesogen hatten und von der Konsistenz her ehr an aufgeweichtes Toastbrot erinnerten. Das Tzatziki war okay und das Brot ganz gut. Ich kann dieses Gelöt aber leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Die Gastro sieht aber ganz einladent aus und auch die Angestellten machten einen sehr netten Eindruck.

Wer das Bedürfnis hat, dass jede Zelle des Körpers sich in Fett verwandelt, ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Das Essen war köstlich und es gibt guten Qualitätswein. Die rote Marmelade auf dem Cheesecake jedoch ist nicht zu empfehlen

Das Essen ist super Die Bedienung ist wirklich freundlich und nett Das Ambiente ist wie in einer griechischen Taverne Wenn das Essen fertig ist wird man von so einem Funkgesteuerten Summer den sich jeder an den Tisch mitnimmt informiert Sonst ist wirklich alles top. Hier gibt sich das Team wirklich Mühe Parkplätze sind Mangelware in der Schanze also bitte zu Fuß kommen oder weiter weg parken

Das Essen ist super lecker und die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Preis Leistung ist wirklich top. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Gerichte und die Atmosphäre sind sowohl für den schnellen Hunger als auch für ein entspanntes Essen in Gesellschaft geeignet.

Die beste Gyros Pita in ganz Hamburg und Umgebung! Wir fahren jedes Mal 45Kilometer hin und zurück, nur um uns diese leckere Gyros Pita nicht entgehen zu lassen.

Leider habe ich kein Foto vom Essen gemacht. Wir hatten außerdem Crunchy feta Cheese whit dry tomato - auch das einfach super. Unser Eindruck ist, dass hier alles frisch zubereitet wird und das schmeckt man! Die zwei Damen an der Kasse sind super hilfsbereit und freundlich… so wünscht man sich das. Schade das wir nicht um die Ecke wohnen, sonst wären wir neue Stammgäste! Vielen Dank ans gesamte Team!

Wir waren neugierig und wollten sehen ob die Bilder und Rezesionen stimmen. Was soll ich sagen, wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das ganze Schanzenviertel macht ja lust auf mehr aber heute sollte es Griechische Küche sein. Schon beim eintreten waren wir angenehm vom Ambiente überascht. Das ganze Team war sehr freundlich und kein bisschen aufdringlich. Freundlicher Empfang mit dem Hinweis auf Self Service, wir suchten uns einen schönen Tisch aus und dann ging es auch schon los. In aller Ruhe durften wir das richtige für uns aussuchen, bestellen und bezahlen. Nach 10 min war alles fertig was uns der kleine Tischtimer anzeigte. Der Salat mit Kretischem Zwieback wurde sogar an den Tisch gebracht. Sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise sind wirklich moderat. Die Portionen waren riesig und mehr als satt zogen wir weiter durchs Viertel. Absolut empfehlenswert!
