It is one of the best Greek restaurants in terms of the taste of the food and the quality of the service. However, there is a big problem, especially on weekends: as soon as it is 10 p.m., the doors and windows are closed to guests, as if there was a nursing home nearby, and since there is not enough ventilation inside, the room oxygen-free and very hot. Those who go outside to breathe are constantly scolded by restaurant staff for being quiet like children. I have never seen such ridiculous treatment anywhere in Germany. Everywhere is busy on the weekend, no one sleeps at 10 p.m., and no restaurant lets their customers inside without oxygen. They can't be a good restaurant if they don't solve this.

Just as it should be. Manos is the best host.

Great food! Make a reservation early, it is often packed - with little chance of getting something in the evening. Unfortunately I was asked to leave after too short a time...

The food was great. There were four of us without a reservation. We were given a table for an hour. Usually enough. But if the service seems to be overwhelmed and also unfriendly, things get difficult. We were then cashed in without warning because “the customers are already there”. 🤦 ...and clearing plates when the others at the table are still eating is not possible!

After many years, I still love the delicious Greek food. However, you should make a reservation as it can get quite crowded on most evenings.

The food was great, you especially have to try the mixed starter plate! The main courses were also good, but the fried calamari was a bit too greasy and the ingredients didn't taste of high quality. The service was quick and polite, despite the loud and crowded atmosphere. One of the waiters was genuinely amusing and slightly unprofessional as he downed one ouzo after another about every 5 minutes. A true experience!

Very good atmosphere and good food.

Food good, service absolutely bad. We made a reservation, then had to wait 30 minutes for a table, even though many were free, and it wasn't wiped clean. After repeated requests, it was cleaned after another 30 minutes, so we were finally able to order drinks (according to the waiter, we weren't allowed to order food yet, only later). We then had to wait another 15 minutes for drinks. The main courses came before the starters. When we asked when the starter would come, the waiter said we hadn't ordered one. In the end they slammed everything together wildly on the table, didn't even ask if it was tasty or if we wanted something to drink, even though all the glasses were empty. And at 10pm sharp we were told to get up and leave, without any prior notice. It was probably because of noise protection. As compensation we got a bottle of Uzo and desserts, at least. The team was completely overwhelmed by the rush, and the boss caused even more chaos because he somehow got involved without a system or simply working along. Our waiter was absolutely snippy and anything but service oriented. That's not possible despite compensation, you pay so much money and want to have a harmonious evening, but instead you go home stressed and annoyed.

One of the best Gyros plates i ever had. Amazing food quality. On the other hand the waiter was extremely impolite and unfriendly… shame for any greek restaurant and shame for such restaurant with great food quality.

I've been enjoying going to Paros for over ten years. In recent years, however, it has become increasingly rare and the sole reason for this is that the boss always spreads a bad mood. Last night it really wasn't bearable anymore. The restaurant is now only designed for pure food consumption - you can no longer spend a relaxing evening here. The food is great and the service is great!

We live right next to the restaurant, but in the future we would like to go further away to another Greek restaurant, the food is average and the service is absolutely rude and very unfriendly, we have rarely experienced such an unfriendly waiter, it's not possible at all! The guests sit right next to you, you sit absolutely crowded together and uncomfortable. It's a shame, I always liked being there, but that's not possible!

Giannas was excellent! We are a family of Mancs in Munich for the first time and, after arriving quite late to our Airbnb, we ventured out in search of food. Thankfully, it didn’t take us long to stumble upon the bustling Taverna Paros. The restaurant was as lively and atmospheric inside as it was outside on this sunny Munich eve; to our luck, we were seated instantly upon request. I have worked as a waiter for over 2 years now, and I have to say I was slightly dubious about the quality of service we may receive upon being seated - simply because the restaurant was at maximum capacity. However, my worries were soon put to rest by the expert and confident presence of Giannas. I firmly believe that one cannot expect anyone to speak English outside of England, but how welcome a bonus it was when Giannas spoke to us, fluently, in our mother tongue. He made sure our drinks hit the table in lightning fashion, and our food not long after. We cannot thank him enough. Whilst, as a waiter, I am an appreciator of fine service, my brother - the zealous foodie of our bunch - is the most apt appreciator of food. If I could attach an audio file of the sounds of pleasure he made whilst eating… well… you would worry it was something entirely different. The sentiment of first class food was shared by us all. Thank you for a wonderful first evening in Munich, Taverna Paros.

Sunday, a wonderful summer evening in Haidhausen. It's a good thing we had a reservation, at 7 p.m. every table outside is occupied by a colorful audience. As always, the Paros service team is charming, professional and very prompt despite the large crowds. After the meal comes the pinnacle of hospitality: when we politely complain about small things about the main course, we are given a dessert and both main courses are removed from the bill with an apology. We have never experienced it in this form before. Simply great!

I've been to Paros several times and have ordered several times. However, I was very upset yesterday. It seems that not all customers are treated equally here and are offered bread or dessert. Probably based on either sympathy or tips (? Although my husband left a 15% tip). I then had to drive my crying child home and prepare him his promised dessert there. In addition, the farmer's salad is a disgrace. I'm Greek myself and supermarket cocktail tomatoes simply have no place there. Why not order decent tomatoes from the wholesale market that taste like fruit (which are available everywhere in summer)?! The feta is a matter of taste - I didn't like it, too hard and rather neutral in taste. The tirokafteri is spread with mayo or something else - in my opinion it has no place there.

We have visited the tavern again and again over the years! The food is delicous! The fish is always recommendable! The Service is very friendly and Professional! One of us even particularly liked the avocado salad. the mussels in tomato sauce with feta were excellent and the fish fillets were fresh and well prepared! Highly recommended! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We have been to Paros three times and always found the food very good. Unfortunately, the service last time was absolutely subpar and we had the feeling that they wanted to get rid of us. Despite the good food and the nice ambience, we will not be coming back.

It’s a great place to go to have dinner and then some party. We went on a Friday it got very wild! You can find all the things that used to be happening in the Greece of the 80ies. Their wine was very good and the shared starter plates were fantastic. We also ordered some main dishes but these were just ok, so I would recommend to rather go for the starters. The service personnel was very friendly.

Unfortunately, we reserved a table for two, which turned out to be a mistake. We arrived on time but ended up waiting for 15 minutes with no service. The staff seated random people without reservations before attending to us. Eventually, we were seated, only to wait another 15 minutes without any service. Then, a large group arrived, and we were asked to move to accommodate them. Naturally, we decided to leave. In short, I believe they prioritise larger groups over couples. If you're planning to visit as a couple, expect similar treatment.

Please expect to wait for an empty table even you have reservation before visit the restaurant and also don't forget that they can change your table to give your's to another group that is larger than yours. I hoped to have a good night with my husband in this restaurant but we had to leave after this attitudes. It was really disappointment!

Crazy good food! I took home gyros with fried potatoes and pita bread. The crowd was perfect. I've had my fill and I've rarely had that at a Greek restaurant in Munich. It tasted incredibly good. There was white bread with the gyros. But please give me more of the delicious tzatziki next time!

Food and everything was very good as always but some new service men were slightly aggressive and didn't take their eyes off my wife. Wasn't very pleasant! Especially the gentleman with the tattoo on his chest. We ate and left the restaurant. A pity

Super tasty food, a bit tight to sit in some places. It's always quite busy, so there's a lot to do and you should be patient with the service.

Despite the restaurant not being full and enough staff, we waited about 25 minutes until we could place our order. Starters were sufficient and tasty. Grill plates completely burned meat that had been on the grill for too long. Minibifteki had no feta in it. Dry little meat planter. Had enough food (3 people) and thought we would mainly order drinks. Bill for €120. We also ordered ouzo ourselves. In the past, you could get a free certificate at the end of the course. This time just a goodbye. Without thanks, without seeing you soon etc... Chairs are very close together. Hardly any space. Every meter is blocked up. So, it's ok. But there are much better Greeks. The Greek hospitality also lives.

We usually ordered food from them for delivery. Overall it was good but the food wasn't very fresh. and the last time she was very old, I was afraid I might be poisoned. After that, I'm afraid to order from them. We were in the facility ourselves once. The place is designed for ethnic Germans. If you don't look like the Germans, you won't be considered a potential regular customer. Even if you regularly order deliveries from them. They don't know you're a regular customer and look at you like they're strangers. We were not offered ouzo, which comes as a welcome from the restaurant. The whole restaurant was full, everyone except our table was treated to food. Yes, I know that Greek restaurants in Munich are run by Greeks from Greece. Therefore, according to their understanding, their customer target group is exclusively Germans.
