1 year later for the 2nd time there - still very nice service and very good, fresh food. Everything is homemade right down to the chocolate that comes with the bill. Class. Original review: Very friendly, very fresh, good food. Only Greek wines - very good! Prices very reasonable. We had a lovely evening on the terrace. Pleasant audience. The location right on the City Ring is very good, right next to the clock tower, but there is sometimes loud traffic noise (over-motorized cars driven with over-motivation...). If we're in the area, we'd love to come back.

I'm disappointed! Although I know my way around quite well and enjoy Greek food, I cannot recommend this restaurant. As soon as we entered the restaurant we had the feeling that the waitress wanted to get rid of us quickly. The friendliness left a lot to be desired and it seemed like we were more of a burden than welcome guests. While the food was edible, it lacked the flavor and freshness you expect from a good Greek restaurant. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that doesn't encourage you to come back again. Except for Dragana/Ana from the waitress – she saved the evening. She was entertaining and kind, which made an otherwise disappointing visit a little more bearable

A discovery, a Greek tavern that we didn't know yet. Small, cozy, very warm and helpful service and excellent food. Perfect for going to the International afterwards. to go to the theater.

The main course was very tasty, especially squid tubes. I liked the starter plate with homemade dips a little less. The service seems to be overwhelmed due to a lack of staff, but tries to make the best of it. Price-performance ratio is ok, but I find some starters a bit overpriced. The wine is very good. The place is very easy to reach by public transport or on foot because it is in the immediate vicinity of the city center. There is an open terrace.

We ate phenomenally well and had a great time. Ana was very entertaining and kind. I can particularly recommend the dessert with yogurt and pickled figs. He just blew me away.

11,50 für Aperol Spritz. Das zahlt man nicht mal in gehobener Gastronomie. Für ein solches Lokal derart unverschämt, das man auf das Essen gar nicht mehr eingehen möchte. Dazu noch in einem Ambiente, das eher an Imbiss erinnert.

I'm rather disappointed. Food was good. Service is not friendly and warm, as is otherwise known from Greeks. I think a few olives for 4.50 is outrageous. Aperol Spitz 0.2 for 11.50 too, I passed it up. My main course included a mini dollop of tzatziki. We won't be coming back

Sind spontan bereits um kurz nach 17:00 eingekehrt - haben trotz einiger Reservierung kurzfristig noch einen Tisch bekommen. Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller(warm/kalt) sowie unsere Hauptspeisen (Moussaka/Lammbraten) waren optisch ansprechend und allesamt sehr lecker!!! Hier stimmt das Ambiente, der Service und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis - insofern eine klare Empfehlung von mir.

A really good Greek restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. You should definitely make a reservation as it is a small and popular restaurant. We were warmly welcomed even with a stroller and baby. We'll definitely be back.

Thank God the best Greek in Frankfurt (in my opinion) survived the Corona period. Once again we arrived 20 minutes before opening, and as usual, host Georgios/Jorgos Dimitriadis let us in at 4:40 p.m. And once again we were completely thrilled by the dishes made with fresh, selected regional ingredients (without any adulteration of spices). The name of the house, Kritamo, is modern Greek and comes from Crithmum (Krittle, barley due to the similarity of the seeds to barley grains). We understandably call it “samphire”, a commonly used medicinal plant that was already mentioned in Greek mythology. And so it is only logical that samphire (which looks like a smaller sage leaf) is added to all the dishes here in variations and is touted as “anti-aging from the inside and out”. But I always find this "encore" exceptionally good... I've still visibly aged :-( I even liked the quiet, more rock music, pretty good today. Still a very clear recommendation!

Sehr guter dezenter Service, tolles Essen, weg vom 08/15 Griechen. Frische echt griechische Gerichte weit weg von der langweiligen Pommes/Gyros Kultur. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Statt dem Standart Uzo... Feinste Mandeln in dunkler Schokolade. Kleines aber feines Detail mit Charme.

Schon der Name Kritamo (kritamos = Meerfenchel) zeigt auf, dass das nicht griechischer Mainstream ist. Und so ist auch die Begrüßung in diesem kulinarischen Kleinod nicht weit einer befahren Straße jedes Mal von wirklich ehrliche Gastlichkeit und Freundschaft. Folglich gibt es auch im Menu viel neues zu entdecken - wohltuend anders. Die Zutaten sind von erlesener Qualität und man hat stets das Gefühl, sich hier doch ein Stück gesünder zu ernähren. Die Selektion der Weine fügt sich da nahtlos ein und verdient besonders Lob. Ich empfehle Kokkinisto (zartes Fleisch in würziger roter Soße) und dazu ein Gläschen 'The Duck', rose oder weiß. Wer es kleiner mag: den gegrillten Ziegenkäse auf Rote Beete Salat. Im Moment lockt der kleine Garten, aber auch drinnen ist es urgemütlich.

I really liked the aubergine, and the Tzatziki. This place is very good and not so expensive. Notmal prices. The bottle of white wine was very delicious too, a little bit sweet flower taste. My friends likes the food too. I like a lot the dessert "kalt Hund" For sure I would like to return here again.

Sehr leckeres Essen, gute Location. Toiletten sind sauber. Service war gut, gegen Ende als mehr Gäste da waren, musste man auf sich aufmerksam machen. Aber das ist leider dem Servicekraft mangel geschuldet. Trotzdem hat es hervorragend geschmeckt.

Ich war das erste Mal hier,uns Ich muss sagen das ich super super zufrieden war. Zwar ist das Lokal etwas zu klein und einwenig in die Jahre gekommen,aber das Essen war hervorragend?Der Service außerordentlich freundlich und der Gastvater ein erfahren Gastronom. Ich werde definitiv wieder und wieder hingehen.

Für mich bester Grieche in Frankfurt. Authentisch, Top Sevice, Top Qualität. Gyros gibt es höchstens mal als Tagesempfehlung. Lamm und Fisch stehen hier im Vordergrund. Reservieren ist hier ein Muss.

Unfreundliches Personal. Von 5 Gläsern waren 3 noch mit Mund abdrücken am Rand sprich nicht sauber... Essen ist wenig für dessen Preis.

Der Chef, Jorgos, empfängt jeden Gast mit ausgesuchter Freundlichkeit - die personifizierte Gastfreundlichkeit. Das Essen steht in der Qualität dem Gastgeber in nichts nach. Ausgesuchte Weine runden den Besuch ab. Immer wieder sehr gerne!

Das wohl beste griechische Restaurant in der Stadt. Georgios führt seine Taverne griechisch authentisch auf sehr hohem Niveau. Und das Kritamo Pesto ist eine kulinarische Entdeckung. Nicht zu vergessen die Weinkarte! Unbedingt den griech. „Champagner“ probieren! Als Resumee: selten so gut gegessen, getrunken und willkommen gefühlt.

Wir waren im Kritamo zum Abendessen. Das Kritamo ist ein kleines aber gemütliches Lokal. Reservierung wird empfohlen. Das Essen war in Ordnung und die Preise sind angemessen. Trotzdem habe ich lange überlegt, ob es vier oder drei Punkte geben sollte ... zum Schluss wurden es vier mit einer starken Tendenz zu drei. Das lag in Summe daran, dass wir uns nicht wie bei einem Griechen gefühlt haben. Herzlichkeit sieht anders aus. Das Essen war wie in vielen anderen Lokalen und irgendwie haben wir sogar den Ouzo auf das Haus vermisst. Ich mag es auch nicht Quittungen zu erhalten auf denen großgeschrieben KEINE RECHNUNG aufgedruckt ist. Immerhin: Kartenzahlung ist kein Problem. Fazit: Ein (noch) guter Grieche mit Verbesserungspotential!

Herzlich-einladender Service gepaart mit einer außergewöhnlichen die Karte (hier gibt es nicht die Standard-Gerichte, die man erwarten könnte, wenn man "griechisches Restaurant" hört). Die servierten Speisen sind rundum lecker und toll gewürzt. In vielen (oder allen?) Speisen ist die namensgebende Zutat "Kritamo" - zu Deutsch Meeresfenchel - enthalten, von der ich hier zum ersten Mal hörte. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier in jedem Fall auch, daher eine absolute Empfehlung!

Very friendly and competent service. Good choice of Greek wines. Delicious small and larger dishes freshly prepared. Cosy and quiet, with a nice terrace. Ideal also for a pre or post theatre snack or dinner in view of the opening hours. Good quality for little money.

This place is unbelievably good-very family style and this is what you enjoyed the most. The interior is very simple -could be more greek in my opinion, but food and attention we received was absolutely great! And yes, we found our favorite Crete wine which you cannot buy in a continental Europe. We will be definitely back!

Our host/chef/owner was gracious and welcoming, offering recommendations and explanations in English for the extraordinary cuisine he offered. The sea bass was outstanding, but I would rank every dish--and the wines-- very highly. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we returned the next evening and it was just as excellent as the previous dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is walking distance from the Frankfurt Zoo.

I have tried this place two times, thanks to tripadvisor revuews, and I can confirm the high quality to price ratio. Really good greek specialities, sometime adapted to the local taste.
