I was there a feed days ago for a business dinner. We book for 20, when we arrived there we told them that we were 16 instead, and they said ok. They ask us to split into 2 tables, even if I asked to Stay together. We accepted. They ask us to choose a menu even if we were less. We accepted. The quality of the meat was really awful, nobody was able to eat that chewing-gum. At the end of the dinner they asked us to pay for 20 people and they said that the bad quality of the meat was not there fault. After that I decided to share this comment. Bad service, we waited hous Bad quality of the food, meat not eateable Bad behaviour, they literally stolen the amount of 4 meals The meat and the service affected the business dinner. A company in Utes customer to spend a relax evening eating good food and drinking good wine. There is definitevely not possibile.

We received a very warm welcome and great service even at 10 p.m. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed it very much. We particularly recommend the Rosé, the name of which is very long and unfortunately I couldn't remember it. Everything was perfect and we were simply more than satisfied. Would love to come back. Very nice restaurant with excellent & friendly service. Food quality is always high, same for drinks. For the level of quality the price is really good. I have been there repeatedly, mostly with business partners, and I never heard any complaint, only compliments (for the restaurant). Will I keep going there? Definitely!!

I was a guest in this restaurant yesterday and was greeted very friendly by the waiter (Triaxxx) and also received top service. But while I was waiting for my second guest, I had to listen the whole time in my native language as the boss, in a very humiliated manner, personally attacked her two waiters (T and N.) with the worst words because they had private conversations lead over their weekend, that you get your salary to work and do things that have nothing to do with the shop. Even complained that one of the waiters was constantly touching the tablecloths because he was overweight and he had to be more careful with his butt. It was so uncomfortable for me that I wanted to get up and leave but my customer had priority 1. Although the waiter said several times that there was a gentleman sitting at the table who was also Greek, she didn't stop mentally trying to finish her off at the two waiters. Respect to the waiters and the company culture is at one of the worst levels there I'm just saying the poor waiters!!!

Wir waren zum Mittag dort und haben das beste Fisch-Mittagsmenue in Frankfurt bekommen. 23 Euro für drei Gänge absolut fair und super lecker.

The fact that the four people in service (for an estimated 80 people) have been here since 2012 speaks for itself! I still stick with it today: 5 stars Quality, atmosphere, staff (also in the kitchen), continuous opening times are simply perfect. Hilariously hidden in the far corner of the city center and yet on the “Tigerpalast Highway” (opposite the regional court, the people in custody next door probably won’t know it) with a parking garage diagonally opposite. Today again for a cheap, high-quality 3-course lunch for me with turbot (23 €) and all sorts of mezedes (starters) for my 3 companions. We tried all of each. Price-performance is unmatched! We don't understand why the house is still associated with Ex-Binding (Schöfferhofer and Selters yuck, but Radeberger Pils at 0.3 l for €4 is ok). That's why (and not only because of that) we like to grab the Greek house wine “Alpha Malag” (nowhere to be found) 0.2 l for 7.50 or the delicious Lillet for 11 €. We would have loved to sing the Flea Waltz on the piano because we were in such a good mood. But in the end we didn't want to harm the noble house...

A chic, family-run Greek restaurant with authentic, very fine cuisine. If you're looking for gyros here, you're in the wrong place. The service was really friendly and extremely competent. But suddenly there was a lot going on and you had to wait a bit. But all in all a very nice evening and recommended.

Hervorragendes Essen, Service äußerst aufmerksam, hat uns eine wirklich vorzügliche Vorspeisenplatte für 2 zusammengestellt und der Rotwein war auch super. Preis ist klar etwas gehobener, aber jeden € wert. :) Alles in Allem kann ich es besten Gewissens jedem empfehlen.

We both love Greece & Greek food. Such a beautiful restaurant & genuine hospitality! We loved the dips (spicy feta) & halloumi cheese with grilled veggies. Fiance really enjoyed his lamb with orzo & my large salad with grilled shrimp was fantastic! Sadly we were too full for dessert. Very nice gesture to receive 2 glasses of ouzo! 10 stars for us. Bonus: 2 minute walk from our Westin hotel!

Our last meal in Frankfurt before flying back to Florida tomorrow We both love Greece & Greek food. Beautiful restaurant & genuine hospitality- we felt very welcomed! The dips- houlloumi cheese with grilled veggies - spicy feta…oh my!! Lamb shank for my fiancé- outstanding & I had the delicious salad with large grilled shrimp. Too full for dessert & oh so nice to be offered 2 complimentary glasses of ouzo. What a treat!!

Das Essen ist zwar gut, aber in solch einem Restaurant das Speisen zu gehobenen Preisen anbietet erwartet man eine gediegene Atmosphäre und keine asiatische Reisgruppen, die sich nicht zu benehmen wissen und alle anderen Gäste mit ihrer Lautstärke stören, sogar den Abend verderben können. Ich erwarte von solch einem Restaurant doch etwas mehr.

Will never return. The service was so slow, We arrived at 630pm and our mains came out about 830! The beef cheek was so salty, and so was the chicken.

I really enjoyed the small grilled calamari and the main course. Typical Greek flavors and real Greek spices that can be felt in the meat. Very tasty and traditional. The appetizer platter is a combination of several dishes, but I wasn't impressed with the taste. Although the eggplant salad tasted great. The waiter was very friendly! The restaurant is Greek style, clean and tidy. I will definitely come back to try the appetizers again separately.

Yesterday we were at the Ariston in Frankfurt again. As always, the food was very tasty. The service from start to finish was super friendly and very professional. The prices have risen a little but where that is not the case. Unfortunately it's like that everywhere. We'll be back and thank you for the lovely evening.

Long-established noble Greek restaurant in a classic, stylish ambience. We hadn't been here for a few years and wanted to get a new impression. The service was very accommodating and we were able to sit at a table by the window with a view of the room. After studying the map, I noticed a significant increase in prices here too. Let's see how long and to what extent this will be accepted by the guests. For food: the four of us shared a starter platter for 2 people, which was completely sufficient. There were about 8 different mezes - beautifully presented and delicious. Suitable for 2 people as a main course and then ok at 34 euros. I then had braised lamb shank with Greek noodles. The knuckle came out super tender. But overall I would have liked more seasoning, the sauce that came with it was rather bland in taste, as were the noodles. Just pepper and salt couldn't do much. The ladies at the table had whole, grilled sea bream or loup de mer, which they were very happy with. We tried the two open red wines 0.2 for 9.50. Unfortunately I didn't remember the names. In any case, the second one tasted much better to us. An overall successful evening without hustle and bustle and noise in a nice ambience, with attentive service.

We were an announced company with pre-ordered food. Nevertheless, the children waited over 2 hours for their food and the adults even longer. The service was chaotic. The food was average at best. If you wanted to order more drinks, you had to practically beg for the waiter's attention. He just stood there most of the time. I'm sure that things aren't always as horrible and underground as this time, but that was by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in Frankfurt.

Leicht gehobener 'Grieche' mit sehr freundlichem, aufmerksamen Personal. Die Speisen sind liebevoll zubereitet und wenn das Restaurant voll ist, dauert es halt mal länger bis zum Genuss. Auch ist es dann sehr, sehr laut. Ansonsten: top.

When I was on a business trip to Frankfurt, I decided I wanted to try a Greek restaurant that I had never been to before, so I visited there. Even though I had made a reservation, it seemed to be a popular restaurant that quickly filled up, probably because it was a Saturday. There were 9 of us, so we ate at a rather cramped table, but the food was delicious.

Tip top restaurant!! I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Very friendly staff, very tasty food and good wines. You have to expect 50 euros per person for starter + main course + wine + drink but it's worth it. Always my pleasure! I am pleased from the bottom of my heart that there are still restaurants like this in downtown Frankfurt. Update after one year, November 19, 2022: Had lunch twice this week and have to say: best lunch menu in the city center. Unreserved recommendation from me! I don't know how the restaurant manages to offer a three-course menu of high quality for 16.50 euros, but I'm happy that they manage to do it! Update after one year, February 18, 2024: Was here for lunch on a normal Sunday after a long time and have to reduce my rating to three stars. My reasons: 1. The prices have increased significantly without the quality or ambience increasing. 2. For every dish I had the feeling that the value for me personally was significantly 1/3 lower than the price asked. 3. 8.50 euros for a 0.75L mineral water bottle is very reasonable. If you don't have budget problems, I can still recommend the Ariston Restaurant as a "good" restaurant in the city center. Otherwise, the lunch menu on weekdays is recommended, although it has also been available for significantly cheaper in the past. There are good alternatives in the city center in the 20 euro range.

Really Greek food! We enjoyed our dinner there and everything was delicious. As we went on Tuesday, we were the only ones in the restaurant, with another couple. The staff was quite friendly and helpful ☺️

We were there with a larger group. Overall, the shop is quite narrow, loud and hectic (at the time of the trade fair), but it can also be described as lively and authentic. The service was very friendly and seemed relaxed despite the large crowds and was in the mood for a few jokes/sayings. The waiting times for food and drinks were completely okay and the food itself was really delicious. Aromatic, fresh, not too greasy/hearty (as we sometimes know it). The prices for the food are ambitious, but definitely reasonable for what you get. The only drawback this evening (complaining at a high level) is the selection of vegetarian options - here you basically have to limit yourself to the starters, which were also very tasty. Overall, a clear recommendation!

Before I recommend this restaurant to anyone, I would advise everyone to buy chicken skewers in the supermarket, throw them on the pan, serve them yourself and then eat them. The taste of the self-fried chicken skewers, left in the kitchen for an hour, would get a better rating from you than the Sovlaki in this shop. After about 45 minutes of waiting, all but one of my friends and I received their food, which received a satisfactory rating of 1 out of 3. The meat was firm and inedible. The staff was rude, slow and very inattentive to orders. One of my friends only got his food after I and two others had almost finished eating it. Not recommended!

Despite a reservation, we waited 15 minutes at the door without a word of apology - we only got to our table by constantly asking. The service was visibly overwhelmed by the masses of visitors. Totally loud inside: Live piano is well-intentioned, but the volume prevents conversations. There were also loud groups singing Italian songs and individuals using the restaurant as an opportunity to show off their solo singing talents... The first meal came after more than an hour - in our group everything finally came after almost two hours, so eating together was not possible. Unfortunately, the staff is not aware of the poor performance. Food tasted good, but overpriced.

Really not recommended. - Waiter unfriendly. My rump steak was English, although ordered medium well and even returned to the kitchen once. Still came back a maximum medium rare. A tip of 10% will be charged without asking. When asked, the reason was: This is how it is done there during the trade fair because many foreign guests come to Frankfurt... No lemon with fish...

Very good greek restaurant in Frankfurt, close to Frankfurt Messe. Nice staff, although there appeared to be a problem with our table, and they ended up placing 6 people in a table originally for 4. No harm done though, except the occasional extra work to fit all plates on the table. A bit noisy but that's because it was crowded. I had the Moussaka and it was very good. Book in advance because it's highly sought after!

Ein gutes Restaurant, um gut essen zu gehen, das Ariston aber als griechisch zu bezeichnen, trifft nicht den Punkt. Es ist eher teilweise griechisch!

Kwaliteit eten wel heel goed. Maar wat een rumoerige sfeer door te veel groepen mensen toe te laten. Ook problemen met met mijn reservering. Niet nagekeken. En dan nog tip vragen bij de afrekening. Kan daar heel anders. De uitbater moet beter nadenken over zijn concept van uitbating van het restaurant.

Für Getränke und Speisen musste man zwischen 30 und 60 min warten. Viel zu wenig Personal und offenkundige Überbelegung auf dem Rücken der Gäste führt zu massiver Frustration. Leider keine Empfehlung.

Ich war letztens mit Freunden im Restaurant "Ariston" in Frankfurt. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und dem Service. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte aus der italienischen und französischen Küche probiert und waren von allen sehr angetan. Besonders gut hat uns das Rinderfilet mit Trüffelsauce geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Kellner waren stets bemüht, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr angenehm. Das Restaurant ist geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Insgesamt können wir das Restaurant "Ariston Restaurant" uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist ein sehr gutes Restaurant, in dem man sich wohlfühlt und lecker essen kann.

Ich habe Wochen im Voraus einen Tisch bei Ariston für eine Weihnachtsfeier reserviert. Als wir pünktlich ankamen war das Restaurant brechend voll. Wir wurden gebeten kurz draußen zu warten. Nach 45 Minuten in der Kälte mit einer weiteren wartenden Gruppe von 10+ Personen und etlichen Nachfragen hatten wir genug. Wir wurden jedesmal unfreundlich vertröstet unser Tisch wäre gleich fertig. Auch Nachfragen nach Getränken, um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken wurden unfreundlich abgelehnt. Kurzum: Absoluter Reinfall, mieser Service, noch schlechtere Planung und wir mussten unsere Weihnachtsfeier spontan in ein anderes Restaurant verlegen. Nie wieder!

War sehr lecker Gruß aus Armenien

Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort reserviert. Als wir angekommen sind mussten wir eine halbe Stunde mit fünfzehn Mann im Eingangsbereich warten. Es war weder eingedeckt noch weihnachtlich geschmückt. Dann wurden im bereits vollem Restaurant ein paar Tische zusammengestellt und geflochtene Stühle aus dem dem Aussenbereich geholt. Es war sehr beengt zu sitzen und als noch ein paar Nachzügler zur Feier kamen musste noch einmal ein Tisch dazugestellt werden. Es wurde Wasser nach ca. 20Minuten gebracht aber die Gläser erst 10minuten später nach unserem anfragen. Besteck war auch nicht komplett.es mussten Gabeln angefragt werden. Eine Unterhaltung konnte nicht stattfinden da es unglaublich laut war. Das essen war sehr lecker obwohl wir bei der Vorspeise Brot vermisst haben. Dadurch ist der Streichkäse liegen gelassen worden. Essen war Qualitativ gut und lecker und die Bedienung war bemüht.

Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier gehabt und leider ist dieses Restaurant durchgefallen. Vorspeise: war lecker, etwas zu wenig Brot, Zuviel Dip‘s. Essen: das Essen war vorher natürlich vorbestellt, jedoch wurde niemand gefragt ob z.B. wie man sein Steak haben wollte, es war zäh. Der Fisch war sehr trocken und durchgebraten. Hinzu kommt, die Portionen sind recht klein. Der Nachtisch: war mit Abstand das Beste. Aber auch da, war das Besteck rar und das Eis wurde dann mit der Gabel verzehrt. Es war viel zu viel los, meiner Meinung nach, haben die Besitzer sich zu übernommen und waren ziemlich überfordert. Getränke haben ewig gedauert und sehr Aufmerksam waren Sie leider auch nicht. Finde ich persönlich sehr schade. Mag sein vielleicht ist es in ruhigeren Momenten besser, jedoch es zählt der Augenblick und wir als Team, würden nicht nochmal dieses Restaurant aufsuchen.

Wir waren zum Mittag dort, haben aber nicht die Mittagskarte genommen, sondern den Steinbutt mit Tomaten-Spinat-Risotto. Als Vorspeise haben wir Taramas bestellt. Es gab auch noch selbstgebackenes Brot mit Ajwar und Schafskäsetrüffelcreme dazu. Und hat wirklich alles sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend. Der Service war gut und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Es gab auch kostenfrei Wlan. Preislich lagen wir bei 50 EUR pro Person inkl. einer Flasche Wasser. Wir konnten direkt an der Straße vor der Tür kostenpflichtig parken. Der Gastraum ist groß mit hoher Decke, eignet sich auch gut für Gruppen.

Essen und Service waren hervorragend.

Das Essen ist qualitativ gut. Leider hat das Ambiente stark nachgelassen. Ich war früher sehr oft dort und es war eine der besten Adressen in Frankfurt. Das Personal wurde komplett ausgetauscht und der Service hat stark nachgelassen. Wir mussten wiederholt nach Wasser, Brot, der Karte und Rechnung fragen. Die Kellner waren überhaupt nicht aufmerksam. Die Möbel die früher die Tische etwas abgetrennt haben sind weg, dadurch ist es sehr laut. Sehr schade weil das Essen wirklich gut ist, aber so macht es keinen Spaß. Ich hoffe, dass es in Zukunft wieder besser wird.
