Never again.Soft gyros without any crunch, sprinkled with spices, not even browned. Salads served without dressing. Potato slices not fried...just warmed up. Tatziki from the bucket, no decorations on the plate, Aperol without mint or decorations like an orange slice and no ice. No toilet paper and the look into the kitchen made us leave quickly. It was on the wooden spoon a cleaning cloth - even after 1 hour! A Greek of the lower category.

It feels like Greece when you sit outside. The rattling of mopeds and the noise of trams. But the food is always delicious and the service is always friendly. Price-performance is great.

I've been back to Nico's with the family for many years and I have to say that nothing has changed: cozy rustic atmosphere, host and service very friendly, food great (portions a little smaller but just as tasty as back then) and the obligatory ouzo on the house. . Still THE Greek in Bernem, reservation recommended!

One thing in advance: We used to love going to the restaurant. Simple, authentic and very good food, at fair prices and nice service. We have been guests quite often in recent years. However, something crucial seems to have happened in the last few months. The food has gradually gotten worse. Loveless and not well cooked. We've endured this four times now and thought to ourselves: "Hey, the cook just had a bad day." But unfortunately the quality was much worse on the following visits. Prices have risen at the same time. Unfortunately that was it for us. We really liked the store and especially the friendly team. But if I'm going to spend money on food, it should taste at least as good as if I had cooked it myself. Do not do it! And I'm not a master chef! It's a shame, but all the best to you anyway. Maybe you will be able to produce better quality in the kitchen again.

One star in the rating is already too many. Wilted lettuce leaves, tough dry meat, overcooked Greek pasta, dessert was out, pita bread was not available twice again, poor and very inattentive service. We cannot understand the good reviews. During the long wait, not just for the food, the conditions don't see that the glasses are empty. So we sat the whole time with a drink and sometimes without one. Each time one of us had to get up and walk to the front for orders and the bill. After a long wait of 90 minutes, I had to give my food back because the meat was very unappetizing, dried out, tough and gray. There was no response, no apology. We didn't feel welcome. Unfortunately we can't recommend anything else here. We won't be coming back.

Definitely make a reservation, because many people feel the same way about what was said above - the restaurant is well received, the crowd is pleasantly "normal"! A tavern like you would imagine on holiday. Cozy and authentic style from Greece. From the start we felt like welcome guests even though the restaurant was completely full on Friday evening. Luckily we had reserved. After 7 p.m., guests without reservations had to wait at the bar. They also received a drink as a welcome. The service is extremely friendly and always there when we wanted to order something. That's the way it has to be. We had a warm appetizer platter for 4 people. The main course was Steak Nico stuffed with cheese and potato chips. For dessert we had baklava with ice cream and yogurt with honey. From start to finish the quality of the food was wonderful. Everything was excellently seasoned and the meat was grilled to perfection. The No. 1 in Frankfurt if you want to eat good Greek food. We would like to come again.

I'm from Bremen, discovered by chance. Awesome, rustic, cozy, great restaurant. The food was sumptuous, super tasty and we are gourmets and eat in restaurants several times a week for work reasons. But that surpasses everything. We always come back when we are in Frankfurt. From the super nice, great family atmosphere and staff to the first-class, more than plentiful, delicious food, you simply can't beat it. Essen ist gut, der Laden schon etwas angeranzt, Bedienung in meinem Fall leider sehr unaufmerksam und langsam.

Ein äußerst empfehlenswerter Besuch für den Gaumen der die klassische Griechische Küche schätzt. Preise sind sehr fair und der Geschmack vorzüglich. Abgerundet wird das Ganze vom überaus freundlichen Inhaber und seiner Crew.

Beste griechische Hausmannskost in Frankfurt! Genial leckeres Essen bei Freunden!

Es dauerte nach Bestellung knapp 75min bis unser Essen kam, es kam nicht mal eine Entschuldigung dazu. Das Gyros war zum einen Teil komplett verbrannt und zum anderen total labbrig. Die griechischen Nudeln waren zudem mindestens 5min zu lange gekocht und weich. Zu allem Überfluss gab es am Ende noch einen warmen Ouzo.

Ohne reserviert zu haben trotzdem einen Platz gefunden. Sehr lecker gegessen. Extrem freundliches Personal. Werden sicher wieder kommen.

Hallo!!! Bin neuerdings auf den Geschmack gekommen nun esse ich eins bis zweimal die Woche hier alles auf der Karte ist super frisch und lecker aufpassen rechtzeitig bestellen und reservieren. Manchmal ist das super essen. Leider schon ausverkauft weil so lecker also beeilen ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Außerdem ist der Betrieb Familien geführt und von daher äußerst persönlich und zuvorkommend.

Die vegetarischen Vorspeisen und Beilagen waren sehr lecker bis köstlich! Vegetarische Hauptspeisen habe ich auf der Karte leider nicht gesehen. Der Service ist zwar sehr freundlich, aber ein paar Bestellungen sind untergegangen und es dauerte lange bis das Essen ankam. Super wäre's, wenn eine Kartenzahlung möglich wäre. 😉

The starter took 1 hr and the mains more than 1.5 hrs, and they weren't even apologetic about the delays. The food was pretty average (dry meat and undercooked veggies!), possibly the least tasty Greek food I have had. The staff was friendly.

We waited almost 90 minutes for our apeteizer. The gyros were dry and chewy. The staff was friendly and seemed to be doing their best, but the food did not taste good.

Gute und günstige Auswahl in der Karte. Das Abendessen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und die Bedienung war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Guter Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Hatten noch eine Vorspeise, die ebenfalls hervorragend war. Das Essen kam meiner Meinung nach im genau richtigen Tempo. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, allerdings leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich.
