Ate and celebrated very well and extremely expensively for my birthday. The food was really top notch, but very expensive. We would never eat there again. 10 euros for still water, 25 euros for a bottle of wine, albeit a good one. At the end, not even a free Uzo as is usual in ALL restaurants we know. No more

I just can't understand the good reviews. The food is completely uninspired. The appetizer platters are served on a long plate, but that's about it with the wow factor. The appetizers themselves seemed to be from the wholesale market. Sliced ​​beetroot from a jar, ready-made Frutti the Mare, Tzaziki... nothing special at all and all for the hefty price of €19 per person. A bottle of water costs €8.50. I sent my main course back. The seasonal vegetables consisted of unseasoned cauliflower, mini corn cobs from a jar and a stray frozen Brussels sprout (in July), along with cafeteria porridge and frozen calamari. Simply poor craftsmanship. I just can't understand how you can put such bad food on the table. But the main thing is that the staff wears a Rolex… that of course explains the prices. The service was okay, my main course was not charged. 👍🏼 The food needs to be improved. None of us were satisfied. Too bad about the money.

I agree with everything positive that has already been written. However, I think the prices are really VERY high. Especially with wine. Even with fine dining and good quality, a certain level should be maintained. I don't know anything about the origin and quality of the ingredients from the menu. Regional? ORGANIC? Pasta with vegetables for over 20 euros and you won't get full from the portion. That's too expensive. There is nothing at all offered for children, which is a real shame.

Das Hauptgericht - Dorade gegrillt für 2 Personen - war auf den Punkt gebraten und schmeckte hervorragend. Auch die Sepiche war - zwar etwas anders als gewohnt - lecker. Die Vorspeisenvariante allerdings entsprach nicht unserem Geschmack. Der empfohlene Souvignon Blanc aus Griechenland passte zur Vorspeise aber nicht zum Hauptgericht und war meiner Ansicht nach mit € 55,- zu teuer. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr freundliche Bedienung !!

Had a very nice and delicious evening here. Service is top and the food tastes excellent. A slightly more noble Greek. If you like Greek and just want to experience something different, this is the right place for you. The price is also completely okay for the quality you get. We'd love to come back.

There were five of us for lunch today. Starter was 🔝. Main dishes just like that 🔝. Very nice service, the ambience was also very stylish. I can only recommend this.

Great food, Greek interpreted in a different way, definitely worth an experience. The star deduction is on the house for the missing Metaxa. Only regular customers get this, it seems like a two-class society.

Was under the expectation. The menu of the specials is long as the normal menu, which confused us a bit. We had one antipasti that can be easily be compared with the food the you find in big supermarket chains. The second appetizer with octopus was a chewing gum and the combination with sweet taste of the wine sause wasn't a good match, to my personal taste. Fish as main course was fresh but combined with Broccoli Cauliflower and carrot seasoned with vinegar was not great. Wine was good but triple the real price if you know the Greek wines Service was lovely and sweet but you have to be very straight on your decisions otherwise they tent to over booking courses. Environment was very nice and stylish.

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend zum ersten Mal in dem modern und gleichzeitig gemütlich eingerichteten Eliá. Es liegt im ruhigen Teil des Gallus an der Frankenallee. Für uns gab es einen sehr persönlichen Empfang, fast wie für alte Bekannte, und unser kleiner Vierbeiner Emma erhielt sofort eine Wasserschüssel. Das nenne ich Willkommenskultur! Überhaupt findet man heutzutage nur selten eine so authentisch freundliche, kompetente und aufmerksame Servicecrew. Die Speisekarte erzeugte hohe Erwartungen, die mit jedem Gang erfüllt wurden. Selbst die warmen schwarzen Oliven mit Pita waren unglaublich lecker. Die Gerichte werden abwechslungsreich präsentiert und sind mit viel handwerklichem Geschick zubereitet. Wir haben versucht, einmal quer durch die Karte zu bestellen, müssen aber wiederkommen, um die kulinarische Reise fortzusetzen. Nur soviel: das Gyros vom Black Angus und die Griescreme mit Weisser Schokolade und Vanilleeis sind ein Traum. Wir bedanken uns für einen sehr angenehmen Abend und kommen in jedem Fall bald wieder. We came across this restaurant by chance and were not disappointed. It was already after half past ten in the evening and the restaurant was still very busy. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was creatively prepared and also very tasty. All in all it was very pleasant and I will come back if I'm ever in the area again.

Le restaurant est situé en dehors de l'hyper cetre -ville, dans un quartier résidentiel "intermédiaire". On peut y accéder facilement en S-Bahn (station Galluswarte). Grande et belle salle donnant sur une rue arborée. La décoration est chaleureuse. Les patrons sont très souriants et le service efficace. J'ai dégusté un spanakopita en entrée, le fameux feuilleté aux épinards et à la feta, totalement déconstruit ici : la pâte filo est utilisée comme dans un millefeuille, pour séparer les différents ingrédients. Surprenant, mais très esthétique et bon. En plat, j'ai dégusté un assortiment de grillades (Elia piato). Toutes les viandes étaient délicieuses. J'ai particulièrement aimé le gyros de black angus américain. Il y avait aussi un morceau de filet d'agneau néo-zélandais, un morceau de steak hâché d'agneau et de boeuf (soutzoukakia, délicieux aussi) et un morceau de poulet élevé au maïs. Le tout accompagné de frites bien croustillantes. Portion énorme ! Après ce plat roboratif, je n'ai pas commandé de dessert mais néanmoins goûté celui de mon ami : un yaourt grec au miel de thym et à la fleur d'oranger. Un régal. J'ai bu un verre de Nemea, un bon vin rouge du Péloponèse (verre de 20 cl). Compter 75€ par personne, avec un verre de vin. Plutôt cher pour un restaurant grec, mais l'expérience était exceptionnelle. Fortement recommandé.

This is a wonderful restaurant. It’s Greek and Mediterranean themed. Ample choices for all tastes, including vegan. We had appetizers and entrees. Excellent. We celebrated our wedding here in a small circle and were not only thrilled with the food, but also with the service and the planning process beforehand. The team was always available by email, we talked everything through again a few days before the celebration and the food was fantastic. Our guests also repeatedly told us afterwards how great the food was. We would love to come back again.

We were here for dinner. We were welcomed with a little gift from the house. We started at the beginning with a large appetizer platter and a salad. Both were beautifully prepared. The appetizer platter had a little bit of everything and a great selection of Greek specialties. The main courses were also prepared with attention to detail and everyone enjoyed them very much. Finally, after we were a little too full for a whole dessert, we got a small mini dessert. The service and the boss were very friendly, accommodating and also very nice. Anyone looking for fine Greek cuisine has come to the right place. Clear recommendation! It was a great evening, we're happy to come.

We were there for lunch on a Sunday. The service was very friendly but not intrusive. The food was good and on the table quickly. We had the appetizer platter for two people - enough but not too much. Overall a great lunch. The overall ambience is very nice, but you can see in one place or another that the renovation work is not yet completely finished.

Wir sind auf das Restaurant aufgrund seiner hier hochgeladenen positiven Bewertungen aufmerksam geworden und freuten uns wirklich auf den Besuch. Wie wurden leider maßlos enttäuscht! Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber wirklich nichts Besonderes. Vorwiegend negativ ist der Service aufgefallen. Wir haben vollkommenes Verständnis dafür, dass an einem Freitagabend es auch mal stressig werden kann, wo wir allerdings die Grenze ziehen ist, wenn wir beim essen schon fast gehetzt werden, damit der Tisch frei wird und an die nächsten Gäste vergeben werden kann (solch ein Gefühl ist zu mindestens entstanden). Auch war der Service unglaublich unaufmerksam und benahm sich so, als ob wir mit Fragen zu den Gerichten Unannehmlichkeiten bereiten würden. Es wurde insgesamt keine angenehme und gastfreundliche Stimmung vermittelt. Wie vorab erwähnt, hatten wir aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen wirklich hohe Erwartungen. So ist abschließend lediglich in den Raum zu stellen, ob wir wirklich solch einen schlechten Tag erwischt haben oder die positiven Bewertungen nicht ganz so ehrlich waren.

Food was good but not breath taking. The bottle of water that was waiting on our table cost us over 8 euros. The portions aren’t big enough.

Surprise in Gallus! We came here on the recommendation of a Greek friend and were thrilled: As inconspicuous as the house looks from the outside, the stylish dining room and the friendly service have a positive effect. You won't find lukewarm, reheated gyros with fat-soaking fries here! A select selection of Greek specialties from starters to a variety of main courses and desserts offer something for every taste and every hunger. We enjoyed every bite and would love to come back!

I was here yesterday for a birthday dinner and my companion and I were totally impressed. The food tastes absolutely delicious and the cuisine is really upscale and a bit more modern. I can highly recommend the appetizer platter. I personally liked the saganaki the best, but in fact everything on the platter was absolutely delicious. The main courses were also great. The staff is really nice and always comes to the table to ask if everything is OK. We were also able to have a very nice and detailed conversation with the owner, as there is also a branch in our city in the Taunus, which we would like to give another chance after this great service in Frankfurt. There were also little touches to try. The waiters are all really nice and want to get the most out of the restaurant visit. We would love to come to Frankfurt again and can therefore warmly recommend Elias for fine, exquisite Greek cuisine.

Classic. Years later, the restaurant gets a new name and perhaps a new owner. So that the bad reviews are not accepted, the lawyer is threatened. It's a shame... we should have simply faced the criticism.

The decorum is Greek but not over the top or too stereotypical. The staff all speaks good English, and they have English menus. Our reservation was for 7pm and we were seated right away in a great table by the window. It was Easter Sunday, so we were given the regular menu and the special Easter menu. They have an assortment of gin drinks, but we went basic with just gin and tonic. It arrived in a super-sized glass with a nice garnish. Perfect, simple, and delicious. We ordered the appetizer sampler (listed as METRO) and WOW, it came out on a plate that was as long as the table! What a presentation. It had a sampling of ALL the appetizers on the menu. It was a great way to test out a little of everything. It was great but be careful, it is a lot of food! The lamb meals were the winners of the four. My meal, Pulled Arni was a special. It lacked flavor and was a strange purple color. I would not get it again. Overall, the experience was very nice. The service was perfect but for me the food (that I sampled) was not as good as I have had at other Greek restaurants. It is for that reason that I unfortunately must give this restaurant 4 stars. I would return to try the lamb.

I was in Frankfurt on business and discovered the restaurant by chance through my colleague, who is a frequent guest here. The food was absolutely fantastic - every single dish we ordered. The owner was also a perfect host and contributed to the pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. I can only strongly recommend everyone to try it here.

Food and drinks are ok tasty but for my personal taste is too expensive for what it delivers. Is by far not a gourmet experience so I don't see the reason why to charge so much.

Well, what can you say? Great starter, good leg of lamb but unfortunately the squid was full of ink. That is not how it works. In addition, the compensation from the waiter was a joke. 2 small espressos (5€ in total) for a bill of 175€. Not recommendable.

The starter plate was okay, the grilled vegetables were delicious - but the rest of the dishes were absolutely tasteless, both main course and dessert. We've never seen this happen to Greeks, especially when it comes to goat's cheese - it's unacceptable given the prices quoted. Service was good, therefore 2*. Addendum: the restaurant is trying to take action against bad reviews - not with quality, but with a complaint to Google. That's why only 1* because the service is also bad.

The food does not recall traditional Greek tastes, a lot of aesthetics, but little quality. Fried dishes smell too much like reused oil. The waiters were too present to collect the dishes when we hadn't finished eating yet. Water not included in the menu list at the price €12.80!!

One of the Most tastiest place in Frankfurt

The food was very tasteful and innovative. I tried the chicken and it was juicy and with carrot-potato purée was perfectly combined. Waitresses were all very kind and fast and the ambientation was very heartwarming. The entrées were very mixed and amazing. I totally recommend.

Not recommended for groups. I will definitely not book business meals here again. We ate here with a larger group (>20 people). Some disadvantages: 1) As a group you are only offered a menu on platters. The prices per person are quite reasonable. 2) Only wines are offered for 60 euros per bottle and up. I probably don't need to mention that, in the best case scenario, these are wines with a significantly lower purchase price. 3) A 10 percent service fee is charged on the total bill. 4) Cancellation fees are then due in full per person. Of 23 people, one person was missing and despite the bill being over 3000 (yes over 3000), one person who didn't show up had to pay a cancellation fee of 110 euros plus a service fee of 10 euros. My conclusion: From my point of view, the food on the platters was nothing special and, in my opinion, too expensive. I find it outrageous to charge cancellation fees because 1 out of 24 people was sick. I'm not coming back anymore.

Not enough vegetarian and vegan options. The salad and the garlic bread has been tasty, but most food they offer is meat. So if you want to go there with a crowd from work, your friends or a date, you might not know the food preferences, choose another place, because the vegan and vegetarian people, will leave hungry.

The Elià has become one of our favorite restaurants, on Saturday February 10th, 2024 we took friends with us who were also enthusiastic and will definitely come back. We really like the modern Greek cuisine at star level. The service from Anna and Vassilis was again very good, warm and unobtrusive! At the next table there was a large family with small children, around whom the trays were carried around with a smile. The restaurant was well filled, but it wasn't too loud. All in all a wonderful, relaxing evening!

Outrageous prices. The food and the service were mediocre at best. The Moussaka we ordered costs about 27 euro and the Giovetsi about 26 euro. We have absolutely no problem paying for quality food but this was simply disappointing. They cannot meet the standards that are expected when charging that amount of money. The service did certainly match the whole experience. We waited quite a bit even with a reservation. I can’t describe the restaurant better than my friend who said: “mehr Schein als Sein”.

One of the best places to eat in Frankfurt. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere in the shop quickly makes you feel at home. From Food we tried fava beans, hot Mykonos cheese, dako and burger. The highlight, however, was the black Angus gyro, a standard and great-tasting dish. Congratulations to all the elia team.

Bis jetzt das beste Restaurant in Frankfurt. Wir aind der Empfehlung von Freunden gefolgt und sind absolut begeistert. Service top, Essen wunderbar angerichtet, richtig lecker, da sind Leute in der Küche, die mit Leidenschaft und Fantasie arbeiten. Jedes Gericht ein Gedicht. Service war top: Sauber, höflich, aufmerksam, flott. Jeder Extrawunsch wurde angenommen und umgesetzt. Jeden Cent wert! Man merkt, dass wirklich qualitativ hochwertiges Fleisch , Gemüse, Fisch benutzt wird. Komme selber vom Fach und kenne mich mit guten Lebensmitteln aus. Wirklich jeden Cent wert!! Empfehlung: die Vorspeisenplatte für (ab) 4 Personen. Optisches Highlight und abwechslungsreich. Ein perfekter Starter sind auch die leckeren Cocktails dazu

My wife and I were overnighting in Frankfurt on our anniversary night and were looking for a place to have a good dinner. Elia was highly rated on TripAdvisor so we made a reservation and are very happy that we did. We had an excellent fresh turbot, and some delicious appetizers. The service was excellent. This is definitely a restaurant that we will revisit on future trips through Frankfurt.

The atmosphere was nice. But the food we ordered tasted bad. It was very very sour, and was not worth the price considering the ingredients.

Leckeres griechisches Essen. Die Zutaten frisch, saisonal und lecker. Eine große Auswahl an nicht nur typischen Gerichten. Schön ist, dass Tradition auf neue Ideen trifft. Leider haben wir bei unseren Gerichten die Molekular Elemente etwas vermisst. Noch ein Minuspunkt sind die Preise.

Leckeres Essen. Der frische Fisch war sehr lecker. Haben nicht in die Karte geschaut sondern der Empfehlung der Kellnerin gefolgt. Gemischte Vorspeiseplatte, zwei frische Fische und eine kleine gemischte Grillplatte. Halal Fleisch war auf Anfrage verfügbar. Habe noch nie rinder Gyros gegessen.

Wow, das Eliá gehört definitiv zu den besten Premium-Restaurants in Frankfurt am Main. Nicht nur das Essen schmeckt ausnahmslos fantastisch (von der Vorspeise, über die Hauptgerichte, bis hin zum Nachtisch), sondern auch der Service ist bei jedem Besuch unfassbar top und das Ambiente rundet jeden kulinarischen Abend ab. Das Interior ist so toll gestaltet, dass wir uns jedes Mal pudelwohl fühlen, wenn wir im Eliá Essen gehen können. Passend zum Essen, bietet die Bar eine Auswahl an Getränken, die zu jedem Gericht passend zubereitet werden. Es lohnt sich, der Empfehlung des Services zu folgen und die leckeren Drinks (auch alkoholfreie) zu genießen. Preislich ist das Eliá im oberen Bereich angesiedelt, ebenso wie die Qualität des gesamten Restaurants. Es empfiehlt sich frühzeitig zu reservieren, um sich lange auf den Besuch freuen zu können. Ausgezeichnetes Essen und angenehme Atmosphäre. Nur die Website sollte öfter aktualisiert werden. Sonst freut man sich auf Speisen, die es gar nicht mehr gibt 😉

Very nice place, mixed appetizer don't taste as super original Greek food, main course is ok but all is a little bit overly compared to the real essence of food.

Eins der besten Restaurants für mich in Frankfurt. Das Essen ist hervorragend, der Service immer exzellent und das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass es manchmal sehr laut werden kann. Vielleicht würden hier ein paar Akustikpanele helfen?

Was man als erstes sagen muss, dieses Restaurant punktet sehr durch sein Ambiente. Der Service war zu jeder Zeit sehr zuvorkommend und auch sehr nett. Der Gruß aus der Küche und die Vorspeiße waren lecker. Allerdings überzeugte mich das Bifteki nicht gerade. Dennoch ein sehr gelunger Aufenthalt und ein weiterer Besuch kann ich mir durchaus vorstellen.

Wir waren zu zweit essen und es stimmte alles. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Aufmerksames, freundliches Personal. Und das Essen war überragend. Etwas gehobenerer Preis, aber Preis-Leistung hat trotzdem gestimmt. Auch als Vegetarier hat man eine gute Auswahl, was für ein griechisches Restaurant nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Exzellente Qualität und professioneller Service. Alles 100% in Ordnung. Hohe Preise sind tatsächlich angemessen. EinKommentar allerdings für den der Chef nichts kann, ich wünschte die anderen Gäste würden mal ihr handy eingepackt lassen und nicht dauernd Fotos von ihren Tellern machen, den Gastronom beim Zubereiten ungefragt inklusive der anderen Gäste Filmen. Keinen interessiert euer social media kram und niemand braucht Bilder von Gästen im Netz. Die Betreiber haben auf der Website ihre Gerichte abgebildet wenn ihr anderen die Gerichte zeigen wollt. Foto und Aufnahmeverbot im Restaurant würde ich begrüßen!

Wir waren im Rahmen eines Firmenevents mit 20 Personen zu Gast. Jeder von uns war absolut begeistert! Herzlichen Dank für den genussvollen Abend.

Presentation, flavours, atmosphere, and especially the service were exceptional! Portion sizes were not small, and we were full after just an appetizer and entree, but we still were able to squeeze in a bit of some delicious dessert. Very reasonable prices too! I expected to pay more for such a wonderful experience that will be a highlight of our first visit to Frankfurt. We almost felt like family. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Frankfurt
