The food from the buffet was disappointing except for the gyros. A lot of things seemed warmed up (liver tough, noodles mushy...). The a la carte food was better, but not a revelation. The starter salad was pretty puny and the meat/rice ratio for the main subjects was also very skewed towards rice. If you like a “classic Greek”, you will find something better in Halle. We were there on Monday evening, the quality may vary greatly, otherwise I can't explain the very different reviews.

Unfortunately not recommended! When I wanted to eat at 1:30 p.m., the waiter casually told me that there would be no more food, saying: We close at 2 p.m. He didn't respond to my objection that it says 2:30 p.m. on both the homepage and the sign on the entrance door, but instead turned provocatively to another guest. So you get the impression that the catering industry is probably not doing as bad as you always hear.

There are better Greeks in Halle and the surrounding area. The buffet was ok, but I've eaten better. The service took a little too long for my taste, the bill was wrong the first time and was clearly too expensive.

My better half and I were greeted by a friendly waiter and seated straight away. It was very busy this evening and the waiter apologized several times that it took so long (personally it didn't seem that long to me). When our food came, I was extremely excited. I had the chicken breast fillet in Metaxa sauce and Cretan potatoes and I haven't eaten anywhere before. Thank you for the very tasty food and the friendly service. We'd love to come back. P.S. Most importantly, they had a card with correct allergens, which is very important for my gluten intolerant significant other!

Well located restaurant in Halle. The food the food is basically good tasty warm as you can guess. Unfortunately, the starter plate falls a bit short compared to other Greeks. The selection isn't that big. The buffet option is really great with a great selection of options, salads, warm dishes and at a fair price. The service is quick, friendly and good. Card payment is possible. The ambience is classic for a Greek restaurant.

We were here today for the first and certainly the last time. The service was quick and ok, but the food was okay. The salad for the main course was a tablespoon of white cabbage with half a slice of tomato, a slice of cucumber and a pepperoni with a dollop of yogurt dressing. For the main course we had the lamb fillet Crete, which was three very thinly sliced ​​strips about 3 millimeters and a few slices of potatoes for a whopping 26.90. So I think that's totally overpriced even with 19% VAT. When we said something, they explained that the meat had become so thin while frying😤😤 the farmer's salad for 9.90 was not appropriate for the price either. But we tried 🥴🥴

Schon bei der Tischbestellung sehr netter und angenehmer Kontakt. Der Service stimmt, die Musik im Hintergrund ist griechische Folklore. Das Essen ist super lecker, frisch und echt griechisch. Wir hatten Cocktails, echt lecker. Vielen Dank für die Gastlichkeit und die netten Minuten im Restaurant.

Super angenehm mit sehr freundlichem Personal und einem tollen Abendbuffet mit top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich ziehe bald nach Halle und werde mit Sicherheit häufiger dort einkehren.

La atención al cliente es excelente, talves para compensar la calidad de la comida. Pedimos platos a la carta, cuando fuimos al baño y pasamos junto al bufé, lo que había ordenado mi pareja a la carta, también lo ofrecian en el bufé. En relación al sabor, nada extraordinario, me atrevería a decir que los sabores son aburridos. El lugar es agradable con un muy cordial servicio, pero no recomiendo los platos a la carta.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen mit Buffet. Sehr nette Bedienung. Buffet war ausreichend mit verschiedenen griechischen Variationen beladen. Satt wird man auf alle Fälle und der Preis war auch ok.

Buffet ist kostengünstig und ordentlich, für jeden was dabei. Getränke haben angemessene Preise und die Bedienung ist nett und zuvorkommend. Nur die Stühle und Tische sind klein, zumindest für eine große Person. Klare Empfehlung fürs Mittagsbuffet

Das Essen ist lecker und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Buffet ist eine klasse Ergänzung zum Durchprobieren. Die Kellner sind sympathisch und wirklich mal serviceorientiert. Highlight: Ouzo zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied mit Loukoumades. Immer wieder gern.

Manche mögen griechische Küche und Erinnerungen dazu. Ein Besuch lohnt in die Sternstraße bei Sonnenschein und später Abenddämmerung. Parken ist in Entfernung möglich, dafür der Marktplatz nicht weit zur Tram.

Wir haben spontan eine Stunde vorher angerufen, ob innerhalb der Woche ein Tisch für 15 Leute verfügbar ist. Eine merkwürdige Anfrage, worauf man innerhalb der Woche bestimmt nicht viel Lust hat. Dennoch wurden spontan Tische zusammengeschoben und uns wurde à la carte angeboten. Wirklich top Service auch wenn unsere Truppe etwas chaotisch bei der Bestellung und den extra Wünschen war. Absolut top 👍🏼

Klassischer Grieche mit dem "Ouzo umsonst davor". Auf der Terrasse vor dem Lokal waren ausreichend Plätze frei. Ein Kellner kam sofort mit Ouzo und Speisekarte. Ich wurde sehr freundlich abgearbeitet. Gerichte sind klassisch wie bei den meisten anderen Griechen auch. Getränke kamen ebenso wie das Essen recht zügig. Ein Kellner war immer in Sichtweite, falls ich noch einen Wunsch habe. Fazit: 0/8/15 Grieche, bei dem es nichts zu beanstanden gibt. Wer Hunger hat, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Das Besondere sucht man aber hier vergeblich. Aber ... ich würde wiederkommen.

Ein uriges und nettes Restaurant in der Sternstraße, welches seine Gäste mit leckeren Speisen verwöhnt. Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Buffet.

Taverna Kreta Is a nice Greek restaurant in the middle of Halle. The waiter helped us through the extensive menu and then provided free ouzo to start the wonderful meal. Credit cards are not readily accepted so take cash.

Der neue Betreiber Nico und seine Frau haben den guten Service noch verbessert. Nette Begrüßung und schnelle Bedienung. Essen vom Buffet lecker. Hier kommt man gerne wieder!!!

Dieses kleine Restaurant haben wir schon einige Male besucht und es immer genossen. zu empfehlen ist das preiswerte aber sehr abweschslungsreiche Mittagsbuffet.

Bei unseren Halle-Besuchen nahmen wir des öfteren unser Abendessen im Kreta ein. Die Begrüßung und Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen sehr schmackhaft und vielseitig. Insgesamt ohne Einschränkungen weiter zu empfehlen.

Halle-Neustadt ist nicht bekannt für Sternegastronomie ABER seit letzter Woche wäre es potenziell möglich. Das Taverna aus der Sternstrasse hat gegenüber vom Treff / am Fusse des Studentwohnheims ein kleines & feines Lädchen eröffnet - im früheren Tiffany - ... Mit sensationeller Küche. Gerne würde ich es als Geheimtip behalten, aber das wäre den Jungs unfair gegenüber. Herzlich, lecker, frisch und saftig ... Tolle Karte, schöne Weine und das zu tollen Preisen. Ich rede hier nicht von Imbissware sondern von tollem Essen. Und wie ihr an den anderen Empfehlungen sehen könnt; lege ich Wert auf gutes und tolles Essen! Ein kleiner Gartensitz macht dieses Lokal zu meinem Sommerhit 2016 in Halle & Halle-Neustadt... Stattet dem Team einen Besuch ab! Ein Ex-Hallenser aus Zürich!!!

....seit 4 Jahren Stamm. Die guten Kellner und Kellnerinnen weg. Von 3 Brüdern ist der mürrische geblieben. Schaaaaaade Der Kellner der seit 1 Jahr da ist (nicht der kleine) ist Fehlbesetzung. Oft sitzt man lange mit leerem Glas! Aber holt man sich schnell von gegenüber eins (DonCamillo) kriegt keiner mit. Essen seit Jahren gleichbleibend OK bis gut. Fehlt mal was neues. (Eben wie beim Service). Alles in allem Preis Leistung gut. Als Freundeabend super(Preis?). Als CandleLightDiner nicht geeignet. Liegt zur Hälfte am Klientel...& den anderen genannten Punkten. Geh im halben Jahr erst wieder....vielleicht dann was "neu"

Wir waren schon mehrmals hier essen, sowohl mit der Familie, als auch geschäftlich. Man kann a la carte essen oder vom Buffet. Das ist eher selten in Halle und man muss es mal probiert haben. Essen war eigentlich immer lecker, Bedienung freundlich, meistens wird man persönlich begrüßt und verabschiedet (mit Handschlag). Preise auch ok. Liegt mitten drin in der Stadt, eine Seitenstraße nahe dem Marktplatz, mit Auto ziemlich umständlich, keine Parkplätze, Toiletten im Keller, klein und naja... Aber sonst völlig ausreichend und zu empfehlen.
