Restaurant Helena in Halle (Saale)

Back then, Helena Mal was my favorite restaurant. Today we ate there again after a long time. When we came in I said hello, only to be answered in a disinterested tone and completely listless. Unfortunately, we were also served like that (by the young man). I just don't think that's appropriate in the restaurant industry because it makes you feel like you're not welcome. And the question of whether he should simply put the food in the middle of the table so that everyone takes their own dish is not an option! As always, the food was delicious, but unfortunately there was a lot of saving on quantity. Of course, you can't complain about the ambience as long as you don't sit in the smoking area. All in all, I just updated the review because I was very annoyed with the service. Too bad.

Simply the best Greek restaurant in Halle and the surrounding area. Mega delicious menu, everything super fresh and the service and staff are all super friendly and nice. We always like to come back!

The price/performance ratio is right here. Bifteki ordered should be filled with sheep's cheese. Unfortunately it wasn't!!! I spoke to the boss about it. She reacted very rudely. She didn't even mention that it wasn't sheep's cheese; she just said that everyone liked it. Yes, but if sheep's cheese is on the menu, I also expect the bifteki to be filled with it and not with any processed cheese.

We had lunch there, everything went quickly, friendly service and the food was good too.

Usually there was always ouzo before and after the meal. The ambience is fine. The service gives you the feeling of being in a fast food restaurant. Apparently the EC card reader didn't work. (That wasn't the first time)

I forgot my Coke and only after I asked again did my Coke arrive. I ordered Coke without ice and I received an ice-cold Coke with lots of ice cubes. Food wasn't what I expected. The music system must have been broken because sometimes the music was too quiet and sometimes too loud. As a smoker you had to go outside in front of the restaurant.

We were there spontaneously on a Thursday evening without making a reservation. Had seats in the winter garden. Very friendly and fast service. Food was excellent. Salad with salmon and king prawns, green beans with sheep's cheese and lamb fillet with grilled vegetables and potatoes with a side salad. Nice atmosphere, prices okay. We'd love to come back!

The amazing thing was the price for a bottle of wine. It's probably not on the menu on purpose. I thought 35 euros was very rich.

Unfortunately I have to say that it was the last time we were there. The food was delicious, but here too you could tell that savings were being made. More onion (a whole sliced ​​onion), less tomato rice...unfortunately disappointing compared to before. A main course salad that was supposed to contain chopped almonds came without almonds. When I asked the boss, there was no apology, but an excuse - Not all guests can tolerate that and they don't offer it anymore, the menu would be changed tomorrow - Aha! Then a bowl of walnuts was actually offered as a replacement. Unfortunately, what disappointed us most was the smell of smoke throughout the restaurant from the winter garden. It should be advertised as a smoking restaurant. Smokers might now say, don't go there. And yes, we won't do that anymore.

It was such a great experience. The personal were very friendly and all the time asking if its ok or we need something additional. The food was delicious and a lot. Its better to reserve a table because it was full.

Beautiful setting with wonderful Greek service. I was very surprised. Simply wonderful Greece in Germany. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

Service was very quick...everything at the table in no time, but the food is typically Greek...and delicious. Ambiance cozy. Unfortunately, the winter garden (i.e. the most beautiful places) is reserved for smokers. This is really incomprehensible. There are also benches built into the restaurant... they all have a very short seat... you can't sit there comfortably. We'll come back for the food, the decor is rather uncomfortable.

The owners of the restaurant should think about whether another part of the restaurant should be made into a smoking area or whether the restaurant should generally be run as a non-smoking restaurant. Incidentally, my overall rating of the Helena restaurant above still applies.

We were only there for an hour! It was like a clearance! We had barely sat down before we got the ouzo! Then they wanted to take the order! Then came the starter...while we were still eating, the salad arrived! As soon as the salad was finished, the main course arrived! And we were a little disappointed... a few fries on a plate as a side dish... or a mini ball of rice! For around 20€ something very little! Then shortly after clearing up the plum liqueur came... everything as I said happened with eating in 1 hour!

Fühlte mich von der Bedienung regelrecht gehetzt... Essen war ok aber nichts was im Gedächtnis bleibt Leider darf man auch während des Mittagstisches rauchen ...wenn das alle Kunden nutzen ist das sicher nicht lustig.

War heute das erste mal in dem Restaurant. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente und Mega freundliche hilfsbereite Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Alles in allem super abend ich komme sehr gern wieder! Geheimtipp: nach uso Alternative fragen!! (irgendwas mit Weißwein und Saft) Wurde uns am Ende serviert und ist super lecker und ein geheimes Rezept des Hauses!

Ein sehr sympathischer Service. Herzlich lieb und absolut authentisch. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Eigentlich ein gutes Restaurant aber die Bedienung ging gar nicht wir haben für eine Trauerfeier reserviert und es war von Anfang an ein durcheinander. Der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig und das Essen war mehr oder weniger ok. Ja es gibt einen Raucherbereich der allerdings nicht richtig vom restlichen Restaurant getrennt ist leider wurde wir auch mit Kindern in diesem platziert was gar nicht geht. Arbeit am service und an der Kommunikation.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!! Die Bedienungen sind alle super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen fanden wir sehr lecker und vor allem waren die Teller auch nicht zu überladen, wie man es bei manch anderen Griechen so kennt. Beim Ambiente muss ich leider einen Stern abziehen, da im Wintergarten geraucht werden darf und das auch im restlichen Restaurant zu riechen ist.

Ambiente und Atmosphäre eigentlich top. Aber der Fakt, dass man im Wintergarten auch rauchen darf und die Leute das natürlich ausnutzen, zerstört alles. Man kann aufgrund des permanenten Gestankes weder den Abend, noch das Essen genießen. Essen und Service jedoch sehr gut.

Schönes Griechisches Restaurant im Süden von Halle. Der Wintergarten ist sehr gelungen und hat uns gut gefallen. Das Servicerpersonal inform der Inhaberin und einem Angestellten, empfanden wir als freundlich. Das servierte Essen war lecker und reichhaltig, Wir hatten eine geteilte Vorspeise, je einen Hauptgang und ein Dessert. Wir würden wieder hier essen gehen. Besucht am 17.09 zum Abendessen.

Es lohnt sich her zu kommen. Das Essen war lecker. Es gab davor einen Ouzo und danach einen Aperitif. Gerne wieder.

Das Essen war lecker und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir mussten über 1 h auf unser Essen warten, aber das ist bei frisch gemachten Speisen und einem vollen Restaurant völlig in Ordnung. Was mir nicht wirklich gefallen hat und deshalb auch nur 3 Punkte, ist das wir nach dem Essen relativ schnell gehen mussten, da unser Tisch schon wieder reserviert war.

Gutes griechisches Restaurant mit Wintergarten. Wochentags gibt es eine Mittagskarte. Sehr aufmerksame, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung.

Vom Wintergarten aus hat mein einen guten Blick auf das rege Treiben. Sehr freundlicher, schneller Service, in der Woche (Mo-Frei) gibt es günstige, aber trotzdem leckere Mittagsangebote.

Unser Besuch bei Helena war mehr als empfehlenswert. Freundlich, sauber, hell und schmackhaft sind die Attribute schlichtweg. Das Essen frisch und heiss ohne längere Wartezeit. Die Portionen mehr als ausreichend und das zu ganz normalen, nicht überteuerten Preisen! Wir kommen wieder!

War sehr frisches und gut schmeckendes Essen. Ich war positiv überrascht da ich zuletzt vor 5 Jahren dort war und damals alles andere als begeistert war. Alle Bedienungen super freundlich. Man kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Das einzige was ich schade finde dass der große Wintergarten komplett den Rauchern gewidmet ist :-(
