Friendly staff and delicious food.

It's delicious here, even if some of the portions are a bit small. When we got home, we had to have more. The taste and service, however, were absolutely top-notch 👌

Absolute disappointment! We were expecting a special evening for our birthday dinner – unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. • The ouzo was served neat, even though we specifically asked for water. Only after repeated requests did we get some, while the next table was immediately served water. • The Kos meze platter was a complete disappointment. The dolmades tasted like canned food, and the appetizers seemed carelessly prepared. • The anchovies (hamsi) were the biggest disappointment. They weren't fresh, smelled unpleasant, and the two of us couldn't even finish a single portion. • The salad was not fresh, and the tomatoes were soft and coarse, carelessly cut. In short: Both the service and the quality of the food fell far short of our expectations. The prices are high, but the quality in no way justifies this. On our special day, this experience was a huge disappointment.

The Lammhaxe was melting in my mouth. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what you expect from a Greek restaurant.

I had walked past this Greek restaurant many times, and it always caught my attention. I finally decided to try it, and it was a great surprise. The food was delicious, and the service was truly warm and friendly. The person who served us was especially kind, and the waiting time was minimal. The flavors were spot on, and we were lucky to have a nice day to sit outside, which made the whole experience even better. I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

A lovely, lovely spot with super friendly and accommodating staff. And the food is simply sublime. Simple, nothing too fancy. Yet, excellent! And you absolutely MUST try the homemade baklava. Even if you’re not a dessert person. Your life will be the poorer for not sampling them.

Greek in Schöneberg, really tasty and relaxed.

We spontaneously stopped by the Greek restaurant and got a nice table. Our server was very patient, friendly, and kind to the children. The food was traditional Greek, and we enjoyed all the dishes. The portions weren't too large. We'd be happy to come back.

The place is so beautiful and you can feel good, the atmosphere with the lights and the two trees is simply wow, you feel like you are in a restaurant in Greece, as soon as you leave you are back in Berlin, simply wow, super delicious, super friendly, it was totally worth it, I would always come here, even eat here forever, if I had to choose a restaurant where I always have to eat it would be Taverna Kos, simply WOW

Always delicious and fast service

Greek delicacies, as if your mother had cooked them: moussaka, tzatziki, souvlaki. Here you'll find everything Greek cuisine has to offer, plus the crowning glory: revani. Plus the lovely Pascal, the loving boss. It's a dream🥰, and sitting under the olive tree, you can't get any better🇬🇷.👌

The restaurant is very cozy, and the atmosphere was quite good. The service was friendly. I would rate the food slightly below average for a Greek restaurant, especially when it comes to the classic Greek dishes. I also paid €8.50 for a bottle of water, which is way too much considering the ambiance. The prices for the food also didn't reflect the quality. There are much better Greek restaurants in Berlin.

We are still regulars of this great tavern and we will stay that way!!! Unfortunately, there are now major construction projects and therefore the restaurant will probably be closed from February 1st, 2025 until March 16th, 2025. We are very sad because it will be difficult to find a replacement. If even impossible!!! We say thank you for everything and we'll be back!!!

I don't know why I just cycled past here for so many years. Now finally stopped and everything was full. The innkeeper saw our sad looks and immediately put another table out. An extra star for that! The octopus was tender, the sardines were crispy! The ouzo was on the house, we'll be back!

If you want to eat really delicious Greek food, this is the place for you. Our favorite is the grill plate for two people. You get full and it has always tasted great every time. The service is excellent. Nice, courteous and quick. Card payment is possible. Ambiance is very nice! We definitely recommend a reservation. We would love to come back…and again…and again…

Nah I won't come here again. It's extremely hot, with no AC, no even fans. Waiters keep forgetting what you ordered. As for food - somehow even dietitian red fish tasted very fat...

The food was below average. But what's most unreasonable are the prices! The salad was just coleslaw & a bottle of water costs €8.50. We were also given the wrong advice when it came to eating. This cannot even be justified by inflation.

The service has always been good on our two visits. In my opinion, the salmon and beetroot salad served today was too ambitious in price. The gyro plate also confirmed this feeling. Both dishes tasted average. If we want to eat out in Schöneberg 🇬🇷, the restaurant will definitely come into consideration again.

Taverna Kos is great and an absolute recommendation. The food (I had gyros) and the ouzo are really good and the service was also super nice and accommodating!

We asked if the dolmas were made in house and the waiter said they were. When we received them, they turned out to be reheated Turkish dolmas from a can, which are absolutely not tasty when reheated. I also don't think the spanakopita was from my own kitchen. That in itself is not a problem if they are tasty, but they were not tasty. The moussaka was probably home-made, but I had the impression that the tomato-meat sauce came from a jar. They were kind enough not to charge for the dolmas. Not recommended, stay away from here.

The lamb chops were super tasty, grilled to perfection! No frozen goods. It's rare to find them this good, but high praise for that. Unfortunately, the side salad was rather wilted and the dollop of tzatziki was a bit of a joke considering the price of the dish. A repeat order was of course charged. It's a shame, why are we saving money here? Staff very friendly and attentive. The height of the table doesn't match the height of the chair, it feels like you're sitting at a camping table outside. The salt and pepper mills from Kaufland don't look very inviting and could be customized. Thanks anyway for a nice summer evening!

It is a marvellous place with friendly and quick service. The taste of the dishes is outragingly good. The bad thing is that I am overfeeding myself in such rare places horribly. LOL Go there if you have the chance to - you will not be disappointed!

Our visit came at the recommendation of a Greek grocer. Reservation easy, service very friendly, waiting time ok. We ordered standards: tzatziki, olives, ouzo plate with salad, chicken souvlaki. Quality of the food i. O.., portions sufficient, but not nearly as fresh, crunchy and Mediterranean as we normally know from Greeks. Let's say "Germanized". Ambiance: simple, toilet urgently needs to be renovated. The price level with 2 drinks and water was too high at €73. Overall a mediocre experience.

Top quality and a great vibe on a warm summer's day. We had gyros and moussaka, which were both cooked perfectly. It's a bit on the pricy side, but it's worth every penny.

Our visit this week was impeccable in terms of culinary and service. The two of us came to the restaurant in the late afternoon without a table reservation. A table was suggested to us with the following note: “This table will be reserved in about two hours, but if you want to stay here for a longer period of time, we would find another nice place for you.” Very nice, gladly again

Normale cucina greca, menu con 700 portate, che ruotano sempre intorno agli stessi ingredienti... piuttosto caro, ma comunque piacevole

Hier sind wir gerne, weil uns ein authentisches griechisches Restaurant mit reichhaltiger Speise - und Getränkekarte erwartet. Alles wird sehr ansehnlich und schmackhaft zubereitet und serviert. Diesmal waren wir mit 14 Personen viele Stunden vor Ort und alle waren sehr zufrieden, weil wir auch am späten Abend noch immer aufmerksam und freundlich betreut wurden. Wir empfehlen das Kos gerne weiter.

Wir kommen so gerne zu Sevi, das Essen ist super lecker und sehr herzlicher Umgang. Mein Sohn gibt 30 Sterne. Sein Favorit sind die Käsekroketten. Ich liebe feta Fourno und die selbstgemachte Fischsuppe. Ohne Nachtisch gehen wir nicht heim.

Gemütlich, leckeres Essen. Preise gehoben. Gehe dort gerne Essen So war es noch vor einem Jahr! Heute Preise sehr gehoben. Essen nicht mehr so lecker. Das Restaurant war heute zu laut. Schade, es wird wohl keinen weiteren Besuch von mir bekommen, da es dritte Mal nicht so toll war.

Nette Lage, nettes Ambiente, nette Bedienung, das Essen schmeckt, aber auch im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Restaurants deutlich überteuert.

Da haben sich nichtmal die Fotos gelohnt. Ja das Personal ist gut drauf, es gibt n Ouzo und Brot zum dippen in Olivenöl vom Haus als Vorspeise…. Aber der Blick in die Karte auf die Preise dann 🤯😱 Einfach übertrieben!!! Und dann der Hammer… Portionen minimalistisch und es schmeckte nichtmal 😖😣 Bin richtig enttäuscht das war mein zweiter und definitiv letzter Besuch.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, das Essen war auf den Punkt. Schon lange nicht mehr so gutes Lamm gegessen und auch das andere Fleisch war sehr gut.

Hunger, anrufen, hinfahren und glücklich sein. Uns hat es immer super geschmeckt. Das fünfte oder sechste Mal und immer hat alles gepasst. Der Service ist top und im Sommer vor eurem Restaurant zu speisen bei herrlichsten Wetter... fast wie Kos.🙂 Lieben Dank, wie kommen gerne immer wieder.

We've been here three out of four nights during our Berlin visit. And We'll be back on our next visit. Great food at a great and reasonable cost. Nice and ambient outdoor seating with tables on the Spree. Thank you Verona, you'll be missed. But we'll see you next year. 🤗

Nicht empfehlenswert! Das Personal kennt sich überhaupt nicht mit Allergenen aus. Der Keller der uns bedient hat, war unfreundlich, arrogant und bei jeder Frage gemeckert hat. Ich habe nur Salat und Käse gegessen, weil alles anders ging nicht und war mir zu riskant. Mein Mann war mit dem Essen zufrieden.
