The service is very attentive and truly excellent. The staff has a good knowledge of wine and offers helpful recommendations. The food is beautifully presented in a lovely setting. The price-performance ratio is good, especially considering the drinks. There's room for improvement with the children's menu.

The Diver is a special place whose interior design perfectly reflects the diving theme. The food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back! ♥️

My wife, daughter, and I dined at Taucher for the first time today. Let me say right away: what a fantastic place! We were greeted by a very friendly server who not only showed us to our table but also looked after us attentively and with genuine friendliness throughout the evening. The table was very stylishly decorated, reflecting the restaurant's name. The appetizers we chose (grilled shrimp and ceviche) as well as the main courses, such as halibut, were expertly prepared and tasted absolutely amazing. The fish was truly top-notch. We even indulged in dessert, which brought the evening to a refreshing close. Many thanks to the team at Taucher for a wonderful evening.

The ambiance and food completely won us over. The decor is harmonious, and the service is very attentive and friendly. We had the lobster bisque, the sea bass fillet with white wine risotto, and the monkfish. A perfect evening in a fantastic seafood restaurant!

Great online reviews and a pleasant atmosphere – the ingredients for a successful evening seemed to be there. Unfortunately, the service and the kitchen couldn't live up to expectations: the promised shrimp in the soup were missing, one of the ordered main courses was completely unavailable, and another was only available once, without the server having mentioned this when ordering. Furthermore, the halibut was too dry and, along with the side dishes, had an unusual spiciness that was neither appropriate for a fish dish nor indicated on the menu. All in all, a culinary disappointment, even though the server – clearly dissatisfied with their own performance – was accommodating when it came to the bill.

We have rarely eaten so well: everything was excellent and not at all standard, but unconventional without being over the top. Very friendly service and a great atmosphere! It's a must on our next visit! Thank you so much!

We visited as a family with our two-year-old twins. First and foremost, the staff's incredibly child-friendly attitude deserves special mention. We felt more than welcome every minute, even with our young children. They even provided crayons and paper for the little ones to draw on. The service was so warm and friendly! The food blew us all away. The flavors were simply unique; it completely won us over. This restaurant is now an absolute must-visit for us whenever we're on Norderney! A truly fantastic fish restaurant on Norderney! The fish is excellent and the cuisine is perfectly matched. The wait times are perfect. You immediately notice how harmonious everything is here. The staff is super friendly and attentive; you immediately feel at home. Children are also well looked after, so you can eat in a relaxed manner – and even dogs are welcome. The restaurant is stylishly and chicly decorated, yet still has a pleasant, cozy feel. I highly recommend it!

Excellent fish restaurant with a very good wine list

We were here with a larger group and had a long table in a private area, which worked perfectly for us. The service was a bit overwhelmed, trying to create a sophisticated atmosphere that we didn't need or want. The food, especially the appetizers, were very good, although the tuna main course was a bit too bland for some. We didn't particularly enjoy the wine from the main menu (especially considering the high price range). And it took a total of 2.5 hours for us to get our main course. But overall, it's a good place and I recommend it.

Even if a crown had broken off my first fork, I would have still eaten everything. First class! A Michelin star. The ambiance is so beautiful: incredible attention to detail! Thank you so much!

We were recommended to go to the diver's resort on Norderney with 6 people. Unfortunately, we were all very disappointed with everything. 1. No draft beer, glasses like in the youth hostel, the food was a disaster, the prawns were burnt, various fish specialties were not tastefully prepared, the service staff were kind and friendly but they did not have much to say, all in all we were not happy with what we said, but no reply from the kitchen!!! There is better on the island

My wife and I visited twice during our stay because we were so impressed with the restaurant the first time. The menu is quite small, but offers unusual and very tasty fish dishes. There's also a small but good wine selection. The service wasn't quite up to scratch yet, apparently because new colleagues had joined the team. But nothing that can't be remedied with a bit of experience. In general, everyone in the service team was very friendly and attentive.

Perhaps somewhat underrated from the outside, the Taucher offers dining of a new level. The menu is straightforward, but the food is of the highest quality. We've rarely eaten such good and innovative fish dishes. We were so impressed that we immediately reserved a table a second time during our vacation. The service was very attentive and friendly. Only the wine selection didn't quite convince us. The white wines we tried seemed very "light" and could have had more power. But that's a matter of taste, of course.

The fish was very good, but the portions were rather small. The combination is unusual and therefore not suitable for everyone.

The food was delicious, service very friendly, once at the table. The reception was just a little less, we stood unnoticed for a while while everyone was busy. It is nicer if someone at least says hello to you, so that you know you have been seen. But wine and food very good and the decoration very beautiful and tasteful. Recommended!

Beautiful restaurant with good ambitions and a good chef. But the main courses have room for improvement. The appetizer was very tasty. The main course left something to be desired. The halibut was delicious, but the sweet potato gnocchi and dates (especially since the latter aren't even mentioned in the dish) are really very sweet in combination. The staff is extremely friendly. We'll try again.

This was our second visit to Taucher and we were very disappointed. It can always happen that a dish doesn't turn out as expected. The cod we ordered was raw inside, making it cold and inedible. After the waitress asked, the plate was taken back to the kitchen. The reworked dish was brought back to the table long after my partner had finished his meal. Disappointingly, there wasn't even an apology. In summary, the prices are disproportionate to the service and preparation of the food on offer!

An all-around successful restaurant visit: the food – all three courses – was perfect. A recommendation for the halibut: simply fantastic!

Nice ambience. The selection of dishes is good but manageable. The chef, whose facial expressions could be easily observed in the glass kitchen, didn't seem particularly happy about special requests regarding gluten intolerance.

Very nice and professional staff.... Warm and without arrogance as experienced in other restaurants. The restaurant is wonderfully furnished...so that you feel comfortable. I give 5 stars.

Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant, in dem ich zu zweit meinen runden Geburtstag begehen konnte, stieß ich auf den Taucher. Vor zwei Jahren hätte ich noch andere Top-Restaurants auf der Liste gehabt, aber in der Zwischenzeit hat sich auf Norderney kulinarisch einiges verändert. Es liegt nicht an der Promenade und wirkt zunächst eher etwas unscheinbar. Aber dann… Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr aufmerksame aber diskrete Mitarbeiter und ein unfassbar leckeres Essen! Wow! Ich bin wirklich rundum begeistert! Wir haben in den letzten Jahren viele Restaurants z. T. auch mehrfach besucht, aber der Taucher ist grad ein absolutes Highlight! Weiter so!

Reservieren ging einfach und reibungslos. Das Ambiente kühl aber auch schön. Der Service nett und aufmerksam. Wir hatten den Taucher Burger, der war ganz ok. Ausserdem den Lachs mit Linguini. die Nudeln waren getränkt in Sojasauce, nicht gut. Und der Heilbutt war völlig übergart und richtig trocken. Fazit, einmal und auch nicht wieder.

The food was super tasty and very attractively prepared. The prices are already at a high level, but quality must also be rewarded!!! I would like to eat there again. Hier bekommt man nicht nur leckeres Essen, hier wird auch der Service groß geschrieben. Das Ambiente spricht für sich. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben, aber Qualität und guter Service sollte auch anerkannt werden. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort essen gehen. Kleiner Tipp, besser reservieren.

Really very good fish restaurant

The main course, I had cod and fregola sarda, was very tasty and appetizingly prepared. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point because of the dessert. The “Pavlova Diver Dessert” for a whopping €13.50 was a joke. Meringue, a mini scoop of ice cream and a tiny portion of sour cream. In my opinion that wasn't worth €5. What a shame!!
