Very good dishes. The menu is a bit smaller in terms of selection, but these dishes are very good. Service is also very important here, the staff is helpful and responds to special requests regarding intolerances etc. Very well. If you are in Norderney, a visit here is definitely recommended.

Really very good fish restaurant

The main course, I had cod and fregola sarda, was very tasty and appetizingly prepared. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point because of the dessert. The “Pavlova Diver Dessert” for a whopping €13.50 was a joke. Meringue, a mini scoop of ice cream and a tiny portion of sour cream. In my opinion that wasn't worth €5. What a shame!!

Friendly staff, ambience modern yet traditional, food exceptional, modern and very tasty. And the highlight was the open kitchen so you could see how your dish was being prepared. Highly recommended!

Es war sehr gut, die Vorspeise war sehr köstlich, der Hauptgang war sehr gut. Das dessert war auch gut und dass Eis war sehr kremig. :) Jedoch, als wir bezahlen wollten, wurden alle unsere karten abgelehnt, und uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass keine Kredit/Debit-karte akzeptiert wird, also only cash bezahlen, wenn man keine ec karte hat, also ist „Kartenzahlung“ nicht ganz richtig. :(

Eine moderne und kreative Küche, die begeistert ! Die Preise sind auch sehr angemessen. Besonders der Vorspeisen Trio hat es mir angetan!

Wow. The best restaurant we have eaten in since our 3 week visit to Germany. Great service and the food was first class full of flavor explosion with every bite.

Great store, I have to say! Food is great and drinks too. We had made a reservation with a stroller and were unfortunately placed at the top, which wasn't really advantageous but it was okay since no one agreed to touch it, so service 2 stars deducted everything else recommended!

A visit is definitely worth it. The menu is short, but everything is very tasty. We will stop by again on our next vacation.

Very nice shop with slightly upscale prices/cuisine. But very nice waitresses. Nice interior, quick service. Everything fits. 1 star deduction because only EC card instead of credit card. We are on a holiday island in the 21st century and the prices are probably 1%.

If you love fish, you've come to the right place! Great food that goes beyond the ordinary. After the cake and soup starter, we had excellent tuna and cod with different saffron sauces and side dishes. Our children had freshly fried salmon, which was not on the menu, and it was so delicious that they both ate the dish twice. And that was definitely not because of the portion size, but because of the great taste. The staff were able to describe the flavors of the wine wonderfully and were really friendly and approachable. Finally, on the occasion of her birthday, our daughter received a birthday serenade performed by the entire staff including the boss. A great memory and my absolute recommendation on Norderney.

The fish was excellent, the recommended wine was great and went well with the dish! The service was also first class: friendly, attentive and very professional. I can only warmly recommend the diver and am already looking forward to my next visit.

We found this restaurant completely by chance away from the hustle and bustle... it is by far the best restaurant on Norderney. A super nice atmosphere, thought out down to the last detail, a young and committed team, friendly and really professional, open kitchen, with an excellent menu, which 100% reflects the motto “fish in love”, the drinks are exclusive, the dessert is fantastic. If it were possible there would be 10 stars! Anyone who goes will not be disappointed. Many thanks to the entire team for the great evening!

The dinner at the diver's was simply great. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is pleasant and most importantly, the food was delicious! We were so excited that we made another reservation with the diver for our short Norderney vacation. Don't forget that dogs are also welcome in the diver. We would love to come back to the diver…

A perfect experience! The very best was presented to us in a nutshell! Rarely have we been able to experience such an all-round wonderful eating experience. Best tuna ever, great creations for starters and dessert too. The berry pavlova with vanilla ice cream was a poem, the lime sorbet was excellently creamy! Thank you for this great achievement.

The fish was fried to perfection. The only drawback: Despite the warmed plate, it only arrived lukewarm. If I had complained about it, a really good product would have gone in the trash. If you want to play in the “high price” league, you should pay attention to something like this!

Wir sind durch eine Empfehlung auf den Taucher gekommen und werden ihn selber definitiv auch weiterempfehlen.

Here the name says it all and you can wonderfully immerse yourself in all sorts of culinary subtleties with attention to detail. All of this in a unique maritime atmosphere, which is complemented by a young and friendly team. A discovery and definitely worth a visit when in Norderney!

The Taucher has been one of my personal top 3 restaurants on the island since it opened. A nice fish restaurant with great quality, in a modern style, but without any fanfare. I like the relaxed, calm atmosphere and the nice ambience. The food is excellent and daily recommendations are often great culinary experiences that perfectly complement the small menu. The only thing that would be good for the menu would be one or two vegetarian or fishless alternatives. But so far the kitchen has managed it every time. The absolute plus point for me, however, is the wonderful service: the staff is incredibly friendly, courteous and competent with just the right balance of restraint and commitment. The perfect combination of looseness and tact. I have never received better service and care on Norderney. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a special request, a recommendation or a wine accompaniment. From reservation to farewell. Everything always with a smile on your face and with a nice saying. Big praise to the diving team!! Keep it up and see you soon...

I really enjoy diving. A loving, attentive service. I had the halibut with wild garlic gnocchi with wild broccoli. A great dish with a taste explosion. Gladly again.

Outstanding! Starter bruschetta with gravlax and main course salmon fillet with linguine and red onion reddish. Top taste experience. Looking into the kitchen from the seat, you can see every move the cook makes. The service was also excellent, always attentive but never intrusive, informative, friendly. My wife had the sea bass with risotto, and for dessert we had the lime-rosemary sorbet. Everything was really excellent and beautifully presented. Recommendation!!!

That was really a very tasty meal! The shrimp with the wasabi mayo at the front. My husband had a ceviche, which came with a warm mussel salad and two corn chips, which were similar to grated biscuits. Both excellent. The main courses (tuna, monkfish on white wine risotto with truffle) were also exceptionally good. Plus the great ambience and the very friendly service! Really recommended. Not cheap, but the price-performance ratio is absolutely right!

We had a very nice, atmospheric and delicious evening in the "Taucher" - thank you for that! This is a purely fish restaurant, child-friendly and designed for adults. Note for parents: The current only children's meal is fish fingers, mashed potatoes and peas. With a delicious Frisian ice cream as dessert, a well-rounded family dinner can take place here - it's worth it! A pleasant atmosphere, attentive service and a small and fine menu rounded off our time there. We would love to come back and look forward to new dishes 👍

Leider war das Essen von meinem Mann und mir nicht heiss. Eher lauwarm. Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, der Service professionell und freundlich ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken. Der eigene Gin kann problemlos mit den bekannten Marken mithalten wenn nicht sogar übertreffen. Einzig für die Nähe zu den Nebentischen gibt es einen Stern Abzug beim Ambiente
