Andre’s Restaurant in Norderney

Da wir einen sehr regnerischen Tag erwischt haben. Und vergebens nach einem Restaurant gesucht haben, der nicht nur Fisch hatte und überhaupt geöffnet hat, sind wir ins andres gegangen. Ambiente richtig gemütlich, der junge Kellner super nett gewesen. Und das Essen ein Gedicht. Pommes waren sehr gut gewürzt. Schön knusprig, aber nicht dunkel. Das Steak, das beste was ich je gegessen hab! Selten das ich nichts zum meckern hab wenn wir essen gehen. Und trotz Regenwetter hatte ich nach dem Essen wieder gute Laune 😅 wir kommen wieder !

Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie zum Abendessen hier und waren rundum begeistert! Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch der Service war ausgesprochen nett und aufmerksam. Dazu kommt ein schönes, gemütliches Ambiente, in dem man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Preisleitung sehr gut. Speisen Deutlich günstiger als Ort üblich. Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Abend und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir haben unser Hochzeitsessen bei André veranstaltet und es war wirklich toll! Im Planungsprozess ist er super auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und war zu jeder Zeit total zuverlässig. Am Tag selbst hatte sein Team sogar etwas dekoriert. Alles lief reibungslos und das Essen wurde von unseren Gästen gelobt. Danke an das ganze Team vom André‘s!

Salat super lecker Pommes Standard aber der Rest sehr lecker

Wir haben dort unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und waren dort bestens aufgehoben. Service und Küche sind super und wir kommen immer wieder gerne dort hin

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort (einmal angemeldet, einmal nicht) und es war beide Male super! Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und die Besitzerin und ausnahmslos alle KellnerInnen ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit! Vielen Dank für die schönen Stunden bei euch!

Ein absolut tolles Restaurant! Toll eingerichtet, eine übersichtliche Karte, richtig leckeres Essen (Omas Gurkensalat ist der Knaller!) in guter Portionsgröße & ganz tolles, freundliches und lustiges Personal. Top Restaurant mit einem tollen Service und sehr leckerem Essen. Zu empfehlen: Kabeljau Filet mit Dijon Senf Sauce und einem sehr leckeren Gurkensalat nach Omas Rezept. Eine Reservierung ist dringend zu empfehlen. Top Restaurant 👍

Leckeres Restaurant mit überschaubarer Karte aber sehr leckerer Karte! Der Geschmack der Gerichte war wirklich sehr gut und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und angenehm. Es gibt zudem eine Mittagskarte. Restaurantbesuch sollte eingeplant werden :)

Wir waren zu viert in Andre`s Restaurant. Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut. Unsere Bedienung (Dame) hatte an dem Abend gefühlt nicht wirklich Lust auf ihren Job. Im Großen und Ganzen hat es uns aber gut gefallen. Es war recht laut, man konnte sich aber gut unterhalten. Können das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Wir hatten zum Glück reserviert. Wir hatten Kabeljaufilet bzw. Nordsee-Speckscholle und waren mit der Qualität zufrieden. Als Dessert hatten wir Apfelstrudel bzw. Andre´s Traum (der wirklich ein Traum war).

Uns wurde das Restaurant empfohlen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war sehr gut und die beiden Damen die den Service meisterten sind ein unheimlich gut eingespieltes Team. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren gern an allen 4 Tagen hier gewesen leider sind wir an 1. zu früh abgebogen und am 4. war Ruhetag

manchmal macht essen nicht nur satt sondern auch glücklich. 😊

Wir waren mit 2 Personen zum Abendessen dort, nachdem wir ziemliche Schwierigkeiten hatten, überhaupt irgendwo einen Platz zu bekommen. Hier war es auch voll, aber es hat geklappt. Freundlicher Service, gutes Essen. Wir hatten Cordon blau und Lachs mit Spinat. Dazu einen leckeren Chardonnay aus der Pfalz. Alles tadellos und zu empfehlen.

Gemütliche Location mit guter Küche. Freundliche Mitarbeiter und schneller Service. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist auf der Insel angemessen. Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt.

A cozy location with good food. Friendly staff and fast service. The price-performance ratio is reasonable for the island. All in all, a good stay.

Wir sind mit dem Essen, dem Service und dem Preis-Leistungsniveau sehr zufrieden. Für jeden Geschmack findet es sich etwas. Selbst in super stresssituationen (Silvesterabend 2025) bleibt das Personal freundlich und zugewandt.

We were at Andre's last night. Our phone reservation was reliable. The food was delicious, especially the hot prawns 😋. Our server was friendly and attentive. The interior wasn't my cup of tea, but that's a matter of taste, as we all know. We'd be happy to come back.

A giant currywurst with fries, and my companion had pork schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was freshly cooked and very tasty. I can recommend both. The service was very friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

The beef fillet was very good and cooked medium-rare as ordered. The mushrooms and fries were also good. Nothing to complain about.

Great food, such as the spaghetti with prawns or the cordon bleu. Good advice on gluten-free options, so the plaice wasn't floured and was served gluten-free. Very nice Pinot Gris ("André's favorite wine"). At least for us, the waiter was very nice. Addendum: We were there again two months later. The waiter who serves us makes a big difference. The first time, we were served by the gentleman and were given polite, attentive, engaging, and entertaining advice and service. The second time, it was a woman plus a female assistant, and the impression we were left with was significantly worse: inflexible, in short, not as accommodating.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is very friendly. The value for money is simply outstanding. For example, a truly filling schnitzel costs less than a kebab! Despite staff shortages, this shop manages to pull it all off. Highly recommended! If the shop owner ever reads this, best wishes from Bielefeld & the Bielefelder Alm. As long as the shop still exists: we'll be back!

We've been to Andre's several times during our vacations over the past few years. The staff was always polite and friendly. The food was delicious, but the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller, and the prices are rising. These days, they're serving portions that wouldn't even satisfy a 7-year-old anorexic girl. The goal should be to leave a satisfied customer, not a customer with a swollen stomach who feels like they've been ripped off. Incidentally, the online menu isn't kept up to date either.

Great restaurant, I can only recommend it.

No organic quality, food tastes bland, waiters unfriendly to children

We're absolutely thrilled. The food is amazing, everything fresh and homemade, and the service really deserves a sixth star. Thank you so much, it was a wonderful stay.

One of the few restaurants that offers a full meal on Sunday afternoons, even if you arrive on the midday ferry and check into your hotel first. It has an ice cream parlor atmosphere, but the food is decent.

I like going there, everything just fits.

We've eaten at Andre's for the third year in a row and have always been satisfied. The portions are just right, the prices are a bit high but still reasonable. The staff is very attentive (thanks Christoph ;)). Dogs are welcome, and the staff makes every effort to find a quiet table/seat so your four-legged friend can rest. See you next year :)

Andre's is truly a fantastic restaurant among many others on Norderney. The food there is always delicious, and the staff and owners are extremely friendly.

We were a couple at Andre's Restaurant and wanted to eat some delicious fish. The menu featured pollock fillet, with a choice of boiled potatoes or potato salad. We ordered both. When served, we were both very surprised by the pollock fillet. It was immediately obvious that the fillet came from a pre-packaged frozen food, similar to fish sticks, only larger. When asked, the waitress admitted that this pollock fillet was indeed a pre-packaged product. It's a shame that a supposedly good restaurant treats you to such products. (Freshwater chip shop quality) Absolutely unacceptable, a real shame!!!

Unfortunately, my schnitzel didn't impress me. I ordered it with potato salad, but it came with fries. It was carelessly presented: schnitzel, fries, and that's it. Not even a small garnish, not a sliver of parsley or a tiny lettuce leaf. The waitress was probably trying to be funny; good service would have been better.

Very nice staff. And delicious food

Two items on the menu were no longer in stock, so I quickly ordered a “giant currywurst”. Sorry neither the sausage was tasty nor the “curry sauce”. The sauce was ketchup! with curry powder and ready-made fried onions on top. The sausage was large but not huge. In my opinion, sorry is fine at the “sausage stand on the corner”, but not in a bar.

During our visit to the island of Norderney, we stumbled upon a remarkable restaurant. We opted for the rump steak with mushrooms and onions. Unfortunately, the steak was a bit overcooked for medium-rare. However, the combination of sautéed mushrooms and onions was delicious, while the herb butter was a bit bland. The fries were crispy and very tasty. The kids also loved the nuggets and fries. Overall, our visit to this restaurant was satisfactory, and there's nothing stopping us from returning.

Very clear recommendation. I sat outside in a beach chair, spring sunshine directly in my face, incredibly comfortable! Plaice with crabs was super tasty, perfectly fried, served with boiled potatoes and a small salad. Non-alcoholic wheat and double espresso. Altogether approx. 42€. I found it really relaxing here, I haven't eaten so comfortably in a long time. Very nice service! It looks really nice inside too. However, it was off-season, so there was less going on and because of the weather everyone sat outside. Next time I'm in Norderney I'll definitely eat here again.

We had the vegetable risotto and it was delicious. Very fresh and spicy. Were really excited.
