The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is very friendly. The value for money is simply outstanding. For example, a truly filling schnitzel costs less than a kebab! Despite staff shortages, this shop manages to pull it all off. Highly recommended! If the shop owner ever reads this, best wishes from Bielefeld & the Bielefelder Alm. As long as the shop still exists: we'll be back!

We've been to Andre's several times during our vacations over the past few years. The staff was always polite and friendly. The food was delicious, but the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller, and the prices are rising. These days, they're serving portions that wouldn't even satisfy a 7-year-old anorexic girl. The goal should be to leave a satisfied customer, not a customer with a swollen stomach who feels like they've been ripped off. Incidentally, the online menu isn't kept up to date either.

Great restaurant, I can only recommend it.

We're absolutely thrilled. The food is amazing, everything fresh and homemade, and the service really deserves a sixth star. Thank you so much, it was a wonderful stay.

One of the few restaurants that offers a full meal on Sunday afternoons, even if you arrive on the midday ferry and check into your hotel first. It has an ice cream parlor atmosphere, but the food is decent.

I like going there, everything just fits.

We've eaten at Andre's for the third year in a row and have always been satisfied. The portions are just right, the prices are a bit high but still reasonable. The staff is very attentive (thanks Christoph ;)). Dogs are welcome, and the staff makes every effort to find a quiet table/seat so your four-legged friend can rest. See you next year :)

Andre's is truly a fantastic restaurant among many others on Norderney. The food there is always delicious, and the staff and owners are extremely friendly.

Great food, like the spaghetti with prawns or the cordon bleu. Good advice on gluten-free options, so the plaice was served without flour and gluten-free. A very nice Pinot Gris ("André's favorite wine"). At least for us, the waiter was very friendly.

We were a couple at Andre's Restaurant and wanted to eat some delicious fish. The menu featured pollock fillet, with a choice of boiled potatoes or potato salad. We ordered both. When served, we were both very surprised by the pollock fillet. It was immediately obvious that the fillet came from a pre-packaged frozen food, similar to fish sticks, only larger. When asked, the waitress admitted that this pollock fillet was indeed a pre-packaged product. It's a shame that a supposedly good restaurant treats you to such products. (Freshwater chip shop quality) Absolutely unacceptable, a real shame!!!

Very tasty cordon bleu and a very friendly host. The price is fair! We'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, my schnitzel didn't impress me. I ordered it with potato salad, but it came with fries. It was carelessly presented: schnitzel, fries, and that's it. Not even a small garnish, not a sliver of parsley or a tiny lettuce leaf. The waitress was probably trying to be funny; good service would have been better.

Very nice staff. And delicious food

Two items on the menu were no longer in stock, so I quickly ordered a “giant currywurst”. Sorry neither the sausage was tasty nor the “curry sauce”. The sauce was ketchup! with curry powder and ready-made fried onions on top. The sausage was large but not huge. In my opinion, sorry is fine at the “sausage stand on the corner”, but not in a bar.

The restaurant is highly recommended. Very friendly staff. The food is very tasty and the plates are very appetizingly prepared.

We always enjoy coming to André's, be it for the delicious homemade cake or for dinner. It's a cozy restaurant with very friendly staff.

During our visit to the island of Norderney, we stumbled upon a remarkable restaurant. We opted for the rump steak with mushrooms and onions. Unfortunately, the steak was a bit overcooked for medium-rare. However, the combination of sautéed mushrooms and onions was delicious, while the herb butter was a bit bland. The fries were crispy and very tasty. The kids also loved the nuggets and fries. Overall, our visit to this restaurant was satisfactory, and there's nothing stopping us from returning.

Very clear recommendation. I sat outside in a beach chair, spring sunshine directly in my face, incredibly comfortable! Plaice with crabs was super tasty, perfectly fried, served with boiled potatoes and a small salad. Non-alcoholic wheat and double espresso. Altogether approx. 42€. I found it really relaxing here, I haven't eaten so comfortably in a long time. Very nice service! It looks really nice inside too. However, it was off-season, so there was less going on and because of the weather everyone sat outside. Next time I'm in Norderney I'll definitely eat here again.

We had the vegetable risotto and it was delicious. Very fresh and spicy. Were really excited.

Were here twice in our 9 days in Norderney because everything was just right. The spaghetti with prawns is simply excellent, the service is friendly and attentive and all in an appealing atmosphere

Nice coffee for a short stay. I had an apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and a hot chocolate. The chocolate was very tasty, the apple strudel was standard... Probably a convenience product.

In the evenings we sat outside near the patio heaters and had a drink. Friendly service. Well-attended restaurant.

Nice atmosphere, very nice and fast service! Prices and taste were really okay for Norderney. BUT: What's wrong is the way the presumed boss treats the employees. So unfriendly and stroppy and in front of the guests... That's not possible and costs the two stars in my rating! We no longer come to Andre's Restaurant for this reason. I hope the employees will soon find a good job with nice bosses somewhere else... They also exist in Norderney!!!

Super delicious food - also for children. Very friendly staff. We had a table outside and were there for lunch. I had the salmon with vegetables and potato gratin - simply delicious. My husband had the plaice, salad and potatoes. Our child had fries with fish fingers. I was able to eat the leftover fish fingers and it was crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside.

There's someone in the kitchen who knows what he's doing. Fries particularly tasty, good mayo. Burgers with hand-formed good meat, curry sausages also delicious and chic to look at. On another occasion, prawns in a very well-seasoned “soup” plus dip, everything fits together. Top service

You can't escape the noisemakers that are omnipresent on Norderney after the summer holidays, but the food is good and plentiful, as are the alcoholic beverages with which you can keep your annoying contemporaries drunk. Recommended as a nightcap: Old Williams Christ.

Food is great. Only it hates me too quickly. Starter and main course in 30 minutes. The lady serving gave me a rushed feeling. And the price? Perhaps a little too high, but the food was really tasty. Perhaps not the right restaurant for a nice evening.

Had coffee and cake on the outside terrace. The service was super attentive and very friendly. The cake recommendation was very tasty and good. We'll definitely come by again.

Super nice service, it couldn't be better. The food was very tasty - the beef burgers were probably the juiciest I've ever eaten and the burger buns were nice and crispy. The waitresses were super nice to our son.

Today we are visiting Andre's Restaurant, for the first time after 6 days on Norderney. Our accommodation was above the restaurant, and unfortunately we only decided to visit Andre's on the last evening. The service as well as the food was simply priceless. From fries to burgers, the shepherd's cheese and the cordon bleu were simply excellent. Just as desirable as you would hope. Delicious fresh homemade cuisine. Also extremely friendly service, especially Christoph. We are looking forward to our next visit, where we will visit Andre's on the first day.

Like every year, this year too, good, honest food. Service as always friendly, with charm and humor. Whatever is on the menu is what you get. Gladly again.

We ate there with 8 people on July 19, 2024 and we all thought it was very good. Nice atmosphere, delicious food, but relatively expensive (my personal opinion). The service was super nice and attentive, the dining room is very cozy and there is actually something on the menu for everyone.
