Delicious vegetarian burgers. Great selection of pizzas. Every variety I've tried so far has been absolutely amazing. The crust is wonderfully crispy and thin. The service and atmosphere deserve more than 5 stars. Friendly, quick, and welcoming. Almost like visiting friends.

A lovely restaurant with a large menu, including options for vegans and vegetarians! The lunch menu is excellent, especially considering the prices. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious. The very friendly staff, always with a friendly word to share, makes the experience complete!

I loved the food and the prices are good. The service was incredible (the waiter realized I only spoke English and didn't hesitate to take my order in that language). For me personally, this is definitely THE place in Bonn's Südstadt district if you want to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. A fantastic selection of both typical and rather unusual dishes, all of which taste excellent, super friendly staff, fair prices, and the aforementioned relaxed atmosphere keep me coming back. A definite recommendation!

In addition to the usual burgers and salads, there is a very interesting selection of vegan dishes, mostly Persian and Indian.

A bit run-down. The food was good, but the service was abysmal. After repeated requests, we finally got our drinks after 45 minutes. The food took an hour. The restaurant was not even half full, and the prices are pretty outrageous. I can't recommend it.

The food is as good as the waiter is friendly. There are also funny sayings on the menu. Outside is a super cozy spot to eat without much traffic.

The von & zu restaurant has unfortunately lost some of its luster. Cobwebs on the ceiling, dusty corners, broken baseboards. A fresh coat of paint is desperately needed. And the decor is also slowly past its prime. Therefore, unfortunately, only 2 stars for the ambiance. Nevertheless: the food is delicious and the owners are always friendly.

Von&Zu is my absolute favorite cafe in Bonn! The avocado and arugula pizza (also available in vegan) is amazing :)! The menu caters to everyone, whether you're gluten-free, meat-loving, vegetarian, or vegan.

Great, unusual dishes from the Middle and Far East in a typical southern city atmosphere. You'll need to spend some time, but you'll be rewarded with authentic dishes! The chefs themselves say they come from the respective regions of the dishes. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Paid 50 euros for two supposedly Persian dishes. It had nothing to do with Iranian food. The kebab plate was a chicken skewer with no seasoning and a lamb skewer with no seasoning other than salt. Definitely not going there for that kind of cuisine.

The seating is rather simple in the dining room (there are also outdoor seats, unfortunately, on the street). Very friendly service and really good food. The pizza is good, the Indian-inspired chicken is very tasty. Good value for money.

Highly priced, service and atmosphere always pleasant. Student food is great, but we've been disappointed several times with the portion size and taste on the regular menu.

The food is excellent, as are the drinks (although the rum is relatively expensive). There's a parking garage nearby. In the summer, you can sit outside (in the restaurant's courtyard). All in all, I highly recommend this place.

Hello everyone, to answer the question: Yes, the staff was quite friendly, 1 small faupas with my pizza but the rest you have to find out for yourself. Otherwise it was very cozy and the cocktails were great.

We went there as a group for breakfast on a weekend. I was allowed to have a mix of the vegan and vegetarian breakfast options, which I thought was very nice. Especially the vegetables and cold cuts on the bread were great! And the price for the breakfast plates was very fair. The cocoa and coffee were also very tasty.

Only 35 minutes. Serviced at Lieferando instead of the forecast 40. Both Madras Curry and Fessenjon taste great.

Always A1 - Brunch is highly recommended, but make sure you make a reservation! Apart from that, you can dine excellently there, the menu offers a variety of different dishes from all over the world, there is something for every taste. There are also fair prices!

What's going on in the "from & to"? Before Corona times, we regularly went to the restaurant with a group of 5-10 people after 9:30 p.m. Eating and drinking wasn't a problem, although the store was always busy. We haven't been there for a long time, but have now made our fourth attempt to get a nightcap with 2-5 people. Eating is no longer possible after 9:30 p.m., guests can hardly be found and yet the staff is not flexible and able to sell fresh draft beer or, alternatively, bottled beer. Sometimes it's not surprising that restaurateurs complain...how about staff training and customer service???? Germany service desert!!! Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives in Bonn's Südstadt! Unfortunately no longer recommended...it's a shame.

The service was very attentive and the cafe was also comfortably furnished. My friends and I had brunch here and unfortunately what was on offer didn't quite convince us. Even though we were there right when it opened, the pastries were already dried out and generally didn't seem very fresh. Unfortunately, the hot food was only lukewarm and the three different egg dishes tasted more or less the same. All in all, we would have liked a little more selection and, above all, fresher food.

Unfortunately, it's now really nothing more than a shabby pub, and there are certainly enough of those in Bonn. Unfortunately, the inner courtyard doesn't seem well maintained, although it could be spruced up in a few simple steps. The shop was empty except for 2 other tables and we still waited a good hour for a burger and an appetizer. In between, the staff sits for a good 10 minutes and smokes - that's fine for them, but unfortunately it doesn't make the best impression given the rather dingy image. Unfortunately, the service is not particularly friendly or attentive. When the food came, it was also the wrong burger. Shortly afterwards it was the last round, at least you were asked if you would like to drink something else. Unfortunately, the icing on the cake was the upset stomach that I probably got from the aioli. That's a shame and doesn't have to be the case. :( I always liked going here for a snack, but since my impression matches the other bad reviews here, that's it for now.

A good meal and drinks. Food was wonderful but slow, I think because it was made to order. Interesting menu of Afghan, Persian, Vietnamese and pizzas with lots of vegan options. The staff was friendly although they smoked in the enclosed terrace.

Unfortunately the quality of the dishes has decreased significantly. 😭 So I haven't been there for 6 months now. Maybe something has changed, but someone from the staff discouraged me from eating there. But you can drink expensive gin and surprisingly good vodka there.

Last time I had the Indian Madras curry with peppers, zucchini, peas, tomatoes & rice (spicy), which tasted very good. Unfortunately the drink prices have risen disproportionately and there is still room for improvement in the service; this is sometimes very cautious. A nice student bar in itself, Old review; Unfortunately, the last few visits have not been so good in terms of quality and partly also the service. There were also limited portions during one visit. The price-performance ratio is no longer right here. And the tiramisu has also decreased significantly. It is said that the eye eats with you. And in this case I found the presentation rather unsuccessful and unfortunately that also applied to the taste. A pity.

Great Sunday brunch buffet! Cozy and warm. But it's best to reserve a table in advance. Always changing selection of classic breakfasts, exotic fruits, delicious warm dishes and lots of vegetarian/vegan options.

All friendly. Cozy. There is a covered tent in the back. You can drink your coffee and smoke there. Only not on Saturdays and before public holidays, because that's when brunch is served there. I haven't eaten it yet, but I'll try it.

Very nice service - but the Sunday buffet is unfortunately not recommended. A culinary geriatric ward where the rudiments of the week have their last chance to be eaten before they die. Ganz gewöhnlicher Atmosphäre, laut und lustig

Wir waren mit einer grossen Gruppe zim Brunch dort. Ich fand das Angebot nicht entsprechend für den Preis. Ab 11:30h gab es keine Brötchen mehr, diese waren zuvor auch schon in Hälften geschnitten. Für knapp 20€pP darf es nicht an Brötchen fehlen. Das Essen könnte auch optisch schöner angerichtet werden. Preis/ Leistung hat für mich leider nicht gepasst. Service war allerdings sehr sympathisch.

Wir waren bereits zwei mal vor Ort, einmal zum Brunch und einmal zum Frühstück. Dir Qualität der Speisen ist ok. Der Service könnte ein wenig aufgeschlossener sein, oder zB signalisieren, wenn es dauern könnten. So haben wir mit einem reservierten Tisch um 10:30 Uhr unser Frühstück um 11:50 Uhr bekommen und es gibt ja nur drei Frühstücke zur Auswahl. Leider hat es auch extrem gezogen und war sehr kühl, sodass wir zum Ende hin mit winterjacke am Tisch sitzen mussten. Mit großem Hunger und Kälte kann man natürlich seinen Frühstücksausflug nicht vollumfänglich genießen. Preislich gut, mit genug Brot wird man satt.

Mal wirklich ein außergewöhnliches Café mit unterschiedlichstem Essen, sodass jeder etwas für sich findet

Die Bedienung war super freundlich und der vegane Auflauf einfach köstlich!

Getränke ⭐⭐⭐ Preis-/Leistung ⭐⭐⭐ Gerichte lagen bei ⭐⭐⭐ bis ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pro Person ohne Vorspeise und mit einem Getränk haben wir ca. 25,00€ ausgegeben, wobei wir zwei vegane Gerichte und einen Vorspeisenteller als Hauptgericht hatten. Das hat den Durchschnittspreis definitiv gedrückt, sonst wären wir bei über 30,00€ pro Person gelandet. Eine interessante Essenskarte die auch für Veganer und Vegetarier eine gute Auswahl bietet. Nächstes Mal werde ich mal mittags einkehren, da gibt es preisgünstige Tagesgerichte. Bei den Getränken ist noch viel Luft nach oben 😁

Von Lecker zu Laut Tolles Essen, afghani und persische Gerichte sehr gut gemacht und der Tiramisu und Mascarpone auch. Leider kommen Rotwein lieber nicht auf ihre Kosten und es schallt ganz schön doll, wenn alles Tische besetzt sind. Nächstes mal vielleicht nicht an einem Samstag Abend 🤜

Wir waren beim Brunch. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Eierspeisen und anderen warmen Speisen. Geschmacklich war es gut. Aber die Auswahl an Brot und Brötchen ist unterirdisch! Die 08-15 Brötchen sind in der Mitte geteilt, teilweise gibt es noch Brotscheiben, aber ansonsten nichts! Keine (frischen) Brezeln, keine (warmen) Croissants, kein Körnerbrot etc. Für Nutella und das bisschen Marmelade gibt es keine kleinen Schälchen. Mir fehlt Lachs (mit Meerrettich) und Weisswürste. Der Kaffee hingegen ist lecker. Eine Empfehlung kann ich aber leider nicht aussprechen.

Also das Essen ist Klasse. Faire Preise. Ambiente ist halt nicht grad schön und wenig gemütlich muss ich sagen. Service total nett, aber es braucht echt SEHR lange bis Getränke kommen. 15 min für eine Cola und ein Glas Wein.....und so viele Gäste waren halt auch nicht da.

Wir waren zum Brunch dort. Schöner, gemütlicher Ort mit netten Menschen im Service. Die angebotene Auswahl war groß, international und sehr lecker. Da ist bestimmt für jeden das passende dabei. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Saßen zuerst draußen im Biergarten, der Straßenlärm ist schon heftig und die Atmosphäre nicht besonders, eher schlampig, verschmutzte Tische, Ecke mit Holzlatten, Pappe etc., Blumenbeete nicht gepflegt, keine Sitzkissen....... Drinnen war es ganz nett. Das Dhal selbst war sehr lecker, das Geflügel, laut Karte sollte es gebraten sein, lag in Streifen geschnitten kalt oben drauf, also nicht frisch. Auch die Kartoffeln waren in Scheiben, vielleicht vier, oben drauf drapiert. Das dazu gereichte Naan war auch kalt. Für ein angeblich indisches Gericht ziemlich einfach ! und deutsch interpretiert!!! ? Wartezeit für das Essen eine 3/4 Stunde und aus meiner Sicht ein absolut überzogener Preis.

Das Sonntagsbrunch ist fantastisch! Tolle Auswahl und nettes Personal. Wer wie ich etwas Geräuschsensibel ist sollte sich aber in den hinteren Teil setzen. Unbedingt vorher reservieren.
