Konrad’s in Bonn

A disappointing overall experience. The service was abysmal; we waited over an hour for our food, and our wine and water weren't refilled. The man in the burgundy suit was just standing around, not supporting his team. The food was okay, the view was good, but everything else was bad.

The high expectations were unfortunately not fully met: the monkfish was perfect. However, the side dishes were only lukewarm. Unacceptable. Dessert was served without cutlery. Inattentive.

Unfortunately, the ambiance is a disaster. A lackluster dining room and the lighting create an uncomfortable feeling. The products are good, but the service seems somewhat disorganized. We had to cut short our visit on Saturday because the entire place suddenly smelled of rotten eggs.

After making a timely reservation, I had a wonderful evening with a perfect menu. I highly recommend this venue.

Outdoor seating with a wonderful view. Not too noisy inside, even though it gets quite busy on Saturdays. Light meals at the bar are very good. The restaurant, however, is excellent. A good wine selection—but not particularly cheap. We stayed there for four nights. We'll be back next time.

We waited a long time for the food. The vegetarian option consisted of exactly three small carrots on a large plate. The emphasis is on small and thin, and three. And then there was a hint of nothing. A disgrace. If there were negative points, they would be here. Never again.

We had a four-course meal, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent, with the dishes always arriving at the same time. And then there was the view over Bonn.

First, a brief review of the Skybar. Its overall appeal is largely due to its fantastic view of Bonn. The drinks are good, but at these prices, they could certainly do with some nuts or something similar. These would otherwise have to be ordered separately. This treat really only requires minimal input. In the restaurant, however, the staff are really friendly and approachable. The four-course menu, including wine pairing, was of a very high standard. Only the veal cheek was almost cold. However, this was pointed out on the spot, and they provided an espresso on the house. Everything tasted very good and was also attractively presented on the plate. The kitchen is open to the restaurant. Prices are more in line with those of a Michelin-starred restaurant.

We celebrated our civil wedding there on September 19th. It was simply perfect! The drinks were freshly prepared and delicious. All the food was beautifully presented and delicious. We received exceptional service at Konrads. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant to everyone.

I had the four-course menu, and every single dish was spot on. I personally have no comparison to the fois gras, but it was very tasty. Both the monkfish and the veal were a delight in terms of quality and preparation. And the ice cream to finish was a poem. I can't remember a more delicious dessert. The waiters were very attentive, with a few minor deductions. Of course, quality comes at a price.

The view and terrace are top-notch, the drinks are good but a bit overpriced, especially the cocktails and long drinks, and the service is awful, slow, and inattentive. The organizational structure needs to be improved urgently, as there's clearly enough staff.

We were at the Skybar today, August 29, 2025. Since the bar was full, we were unfortunately only able to find a seat in the restaurant. We ordered a wine and a cocktail. The cocktail was good, but the wine, unfortunately, was not. The staff was cold and at times arrogant. What was really unacceptable, however, was the cleaning activity in the kitchen. Bright lights, cleaning noises, and the smell of cleaning products. There was absolutely no comfort. A shame.

We wanted to sit on the terrace for a drink or two in the beautiful weather. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible because, according to the waiter, the terrace was too crowded. If we had wanted to, we could certainly have found another seat, but that's not as bad as the way the waiter approached us and fobbed us off. We would have had to wait forever for drinks anyway, they said, because there was a very long cocktail order list. The tone and manner for such a location. A real shame, regardless of whether there was room or not.

When ordering wine, be sure to read carefully. All wines on the wine list are 0.1L bottles with a corresponding price. But you'll receive a 0.2L bottle without being asked. Prices are then, of course, doubled. You'll pay €12.00 for a standard glass of Grauburgunder. Exorbitant by German standards, and it's antisocial that no questions are asked when taking your order.

An unreserved recommendation for a successful evening with delicious and beautifully presented food from the open kitchen, which, if you're well-placed, offers not only a view from the 17th floor but also a view of the kitchen team. The wine selection to complement the menus is highly recommended, allowing you to sample new flavors in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was attentive, prompt, and personal; a special thanks goes to Erik! The drinks at the bar are also highly recommended!

Great location, friendly service, but unfortunately the food has gone downhill. Cold fries, hard burgers. Nothing fresh. Different chef?

Generally really dissapointing experience for a meal costing 688 euro... First of we are showed to the bar and need to ask for our table half an hour into our booking. We are out a lot later than our booking time ends. Our food was very lack luster, first a completely liquid crab dish for some while it was solid for others also this was served to a vegetarian which was written in the booking note, one guest with some sort of shell or something in their dish aswell, the tartar was wet and tasteless, soft skin on chicken dish, dry chicken breast for mains, and everything missing salt Generally service was also mediocer at best, awkward upselling. Orders needing to be repeated a few times and long wait for the bill. So all in all a bad experience

They don't accept reservations...okay, I totally understand. There are three tables available...there's no room for us... We can do that...we'll get rid of the money down at the hotel.

We (2 people) wanted to end the evening yesterday after the artificial turf event with a drink or two. We were quickly assigned a table inside. It would have been nice if the person who served us had given us the drinks menu straight away, because we had to wait at least 10 minutes for it, and even then only after the waitress asked for it. Another half hour passed, and finally the waitress came to our table and informed us that no cocktails were available at the moment. The staff behind the bar couldn't keep up with the preparations; it was too busy. The waitress offered us whatever was available and promised to let us know when cocktails were available again. We ordered a water and an alcoholic spritzer. Another 15 to 20 minutes passed. Still feeling low, we decided to get up and leave at 11 p.m. So about an hour after we entered the bar. Our drinks finally arrived 3 minutes before 11 a.m. Hurray! At a quarter to midnight, we ordered the bill. At the same time, the lady told us they were serving cocktails again. Nope, not anymore! We paid for our drinks and left. Without a tip, of course. A plea to the bar managers: Sure, the ambiance and view justify the prices on your menu, but even more so, sufficient and experienced staff who can serve guests adequately and within a reasonable waiting time. Please do better in the future! Only then will we come back.

We waited an hour for our four cocktails. They were then delivered to the wrong table. If we hadn't seen this and called attention to it, we would never have received them. On top of that, the cocktails are extremely overpriced. When we finally wanted to pay, we had to ask three different waiters for the amount and were finally able to pay 30 minutes after we asked the first time. The service was, unfortunately, very disappointing!

Bonn's most stylish rooftop bar. I love coming here for special occasions. Considering the prices, the service could be a bit friendlier, but the view makes up for it.

The ambiance is good, but the service could be improved. We ordered a single dish and water for a dog, along with drinks, and both only arrived after 40 minutes, and only after repeated requests. We didn't receive one of our ordered drinks by the end of our stay, even though there were seven waiters on site. When paying, we had to explain everything to the waitress and even tell her all the prices, as she seemed completely overwhelmed with her own menu.

A very pleasant rooftop bar! The ambiance up at the Marriott is unbeatable, of course, and the view is amazing. The chairs and tables inside are also very comfortable, although they looked a bit hard outside. Still, really good! The cocktails are quite expensive; €14-15 is quite steep. It's annoying, given the price, that the Old Fashioned isn't made exactly according to the original recipe. But at that price, you're definitely paying for the view, so it's not a big deal.

Funny. Simply funny. Nice, uncomplicated atmosphere. Of course: A fantastic view along the Rhine and far beyond Bonn. Really friendly service on every visit so far. Even cocktails that aren't on the menu. I haven't tried the restaurant yet, but I've only heard good things about it. Parking is in the parking garage across the street. A few steps to the exit and then up to the 17th floor. I've been here a few times, brought guests, and I'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the evening was very disappointing overall. We ordered the 5-course menu and had to wait up to 40 minutes for the next course. We stated a gluten allergy both when making our reservation and at the restaurant. However, two courses were still served incorrectly and had to be returned. An absolute no-go! The kitchen fumes were so intense that it burned our eyes. Unfortunately, they're clearly skimping on the quality of service and the skilled staff. If you can do everything, then an evening like this for two people shouldn't cost €300!

First, the positives: The view is fantastic, and the option to sit outside is an absolute highlight. The interior is also attractive and modern. Now for the negatives: The food: We were real fans of Kaspars and have eaten worse in two-star restaurants than we did there. Accordingly, we had high expectations and were unfortunately somewhat disappointed. We had the veal and char tartare for starters. While the veal tartare tasted good, albeit small for the price, the char tartare only tasted of the cabbage used (I think it was tarragon). For the main course, we had scallops and zander. The zander was just as unseasoned as the potato ragout that came with it in copious amounts. The proportions were completely off here. The proportions were also off with the scallops and the rice that came with them, although the seasoning here was much better. Unfortunately, there are no options for children; you could only choose from the few dishes on the bar menu. We're used to it differently and much more flexible at upscale restaurants. The service: The staff were generally very friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. We had to ask for the bill twice, and then waited again for the payment terminal, so the payment process took almost half an hour. Instead, they brought the bill to the neighboring table, who were actually just about to order. At another neighboring table, the waiter was unprepared, didn't know any gluten-free options, and after ordering, brought regular (gluten-containing) bread and butter to the table. The ambiance: In the men's restroom, a urinal was covered with a garbage bag and tape. The long faucet by the left sink was dented and bent. There were also puddles all over the counter. If you charge such prices, you have to deliver accordingly. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here, and we won't be visiting the restaurant again. You can also enjoy the view from the bar.

Terrible experience. We booked for dinner and left before ordering because the service was excruciating. Great view, but menu and service sucked.

The food was impeccably prepared. The wine list doesn't overwhelm the guest. The service was very polite, friendly, and attentive. Anyone who appreciates an exceptional view of Bonn and beyond will get their money's worth. I would say that Konrad's is centered on the commitment to serving upscale French cuisine to its guests. The kitchen team succeeded in this with my four-course meal! I also found the selection and preparation of the cocktails at the bar to be commendable. Ambitious and very well executed by the bartender! What I did notice, however, was that the inventory and staffing levels needed improvement. The bar menus were very worn. The winter cocktails were still being advertised in mid-April. The pages of the restaurant menu were similarly worn. The tines of three of my five forks were noticeably bent. I've never seen that before... The wine glass at the bar had noticeable streaks on the rim. The cocktail glasses weren't polished either. Such uncleanliness unfortunately raises worrying conclusions about the cleanliness of food handling in general. We visited on a busy Saturday evening. The bar handled the volume of guests well, friendly, and with a slightly tense atmosphere. The wait times were reasonable and were more than compensated for by the view over Bonn. The number of customers clearly didn't match the number of kitchen staff. The wait times were therefore unfortunately far too long. 4-course meal / 4.0 hours. The waiters apologized for this with a glass of wine and, at the end, with an espresso on the house. Thank you, kitchen team! Thank you, bar team! Thank you, service! Dear restaurant management, staffing shortages and the bar's influx of visitors are difficult to coordinate. You can influence this when assigning tables. The additional three tables for nine people in the additional room were a financial incentive, but likely led to unfortunate waiting times for all guests. Please take a look at the inventory yourself and examine it carefully. If expectations and reality are to be reflected beyond the plate, there's room to make up ground here.

I ordered a cheeseburger, but the meat was tough and lacked flavor. On the other hand, the truffle fries were decent. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would recommend skipping the cheeseburger.

We were staying at the Marriott and wanted to enjoy something small and a glass or two of wine. At first there were no tables. We thought we would checkout the view and then take a glass back to our room. The view was amazing. As we returned to the bar to get our wine, the very friendly and helpful hostess thought a table would be available. She double checked and then led us to a 2 top table with a nice view. We enjoyed a few snacks and nice wine enjoying a great atmosphere, wonderful staff - waiter and bar staff and of course the view. Our next trip to Bonn, we will make a reservation and enjoy the full experience.

You can particularly enjoy the beautiful city of Bonn from the Konrad's roof terrace. The view over Bonn at night is only distracted by the delicacies on the plate, which come from the excellent kitchen and are served very attentively. Highly recommended.

The restaurant had a great atmosphere and excellent service, making for a pleasant dining experience. However, the menu was quite limited, which may not suit all diners. The food itself was solid, with good flavors and quality, earning an 8/10. A good spot, but a bit more variety would make it even better.

Idk if I'm spoiled or what, we went for the menu and it was good don't get me wrong but it wasn't extra good nor breathtaking nor extraordinary from the taste. The presentation was nice though and obviously the view from the hotel. But the food just good.

The great view of Bonn is definitely beautiful and special, and the staff was also very friendly and created a pleasant atmosphere. However, the selection and the food itself is anything but special. Starting with a simple coffee machine, where you have to wait in long lines to then get comparatively cafeteria coffee. There was a very manageable (vegetarian) selection of cold cuts etc., unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but the selection of cheese was particularly unspectacular (2 types of dried, simple sliced ​​cheese). Up to ready-made egg dishes in chafing dishes, and ready-made desserts, which are also familiar from the cafeteria from university times. Everything is really unspectacular and absolutely nothing special, which for me is out of proportion to the price of €60 + drinks flat rate.

We had a great evening with a delicious 5-course menu including wine accompaniment. We were there on Thursday and it wasn't that busy. We expected that our wine with the main course would not only be able to breathe for 15 minutes, but would also be opened in good time according to our menu. Unfortunately, the head waiter didn't seem to have a clear view of our order. The service was friendly and tried to make amends! Nevertheless, we cannot give a star because we ate and drank just as well in “normal” restaurants (e.g. Beach House). Overall, definitely recommended!

Good drinks, great views over the rooftops of Bonn and the Rhine at your feet. Unfortunately, the service cannot maintain the high standard, but the location can definitely compensate for that.

Dear Konrad's team, We had reserved two round tables with 11 people and can say in advance that we were very, very satisfied and overwhelmed. Just preparing for our family birthday dinner was amazing. Mr. Paulussen and his colleagues were absolutely service-oriented and always responded to all of the guests' wishes. Even the wishes for our small children were fulfilled wonderfully. As expected, the food and drinks were of the highest standard and everyone enjoyed it excellently. Our vegetarians also got their money's worth. Overall, a very successful evening on the occasion of my wife's 70th birthday. A special thank you again to my wife's service staff. It's definitely not the last time we've been to Konrad's. Thank you thank you.

Food and cocktails in the restaurant are great! Unfortunately, the coffee was disappointing - the worst I've had in a long time.

We were here for drinks and snacks. Since we got there relatively early, it wasn't a problem finding a spot. When we went later in the evening, there were lines outside the entrance. The view from the Marriott's roof terrace is of course great. The Smashburger was solid, but at the higher end of the justifyable price. When it comes to cocktails, the classics were solidly prepared. The “signature drinks,” on the other hand, are pretty wild and were apparently thought up by someone who previously developed Ax deodorants for 15-year-olds. Elsewhere, €15 per cocktail includes a glass of still water and a bowl of nuts or something without asking; here you pay €3.50 for such snacks. The service was very friendly and tried hard, but extremely poorly trained. A cocktail was mixed up and the question as to whether it was really XY was not recognized. The bar then knew it was one of the "signature cocktails" after I told them it tasted like the juice from a Tutti Frutti can. Everything was served with the burgers, my wife even had a fish knife(!), except for something sharp enough to cut the burger without crushing it. Overall an interesting location, but the management has a lot to think about.

The food was very good, the service was attentive, but the ambience was not right for this price category. In the Konrad's II, a privacy screen for the Konrad's I was torn off on the suspension and was hanging down on one side. The carpeting around Konrad's II was stained and the outside window in the men's room was dirty. These are small things, but if you want to be considered a fine restaurant, this shouldn't be the case. But the view was special that day and the food was very tasty, which is worth a lot sorry.

I never thought that the Marriott's Restaurant in Bonn would be so bad. I knew it was an expensive restaurant so I expected the best quality and service. My experience: the lousy food, I had to return the dishes. I ordered "pasta with shrimp" and they brought me salad with three shrimp and no pasta! As for drinks, hot beer. It was 50 euros. And to top it all off, there were ants on the table. It was stressful for me to remove the ants while trying to eat. In reality, the only ones who ate were the ants. I came home to take a shower to get rid of the ants that were climbing on me. I will never go there again and definitely don't recommend it.

Brilliant bar to get a great view of the historic federal political buildings such as the Chancellor's Bunker, the former Ministry of Finance and the old Bundestag. You should sit on the roof terrace and just enjoy. The drinks I've had here so far have been good and haven't detracted from the experience.

The two stars are only for the great view. Unfortunately the quality has declined. A pity !

Unfortunately very inflexible and not very hospitable. Even house guests are turned away if the bar is mostly full but the bar would have space for guests.

Konrad's is a fancy rooftop restaurant. If you plan to visit the restaurant I recommend to make a reservation in advance otherwise you might not be lucky to get a table in the evening rush hour. All of the staff is very pleasant and professional. The main waiter is very helpful and is able to recommend great wine and meals. The meals are well prepared and very delicious. In my opinion, the restaurant with its meals would deserve Michelin star. Dinning in the restaurant is very nice experience.

Nice venue for a drink on a warm summer evening. Prices in the bar are reasonable. The service was very slow: it took ages to get the drinks-list, then ages to place our order, then ages to get the bill at the end.

Top class - cuisine, service, view - simply indescribable

3 visits on 3 different evenings is not a “stupid coincidence” 😕 Lovely, outdated furnishings, really bad service and overpriced food. Tables that wobble, armchairs that are dirty and an unkempt bar don't exactly invite you to stay longer 👎🏽 You can't call "service" either the speed or the lack of expertise of the employees. It seems as if the people hadn't found a better place to ruin the evening for visitors ❌ Last but not least: 26.50 EUR (!!!!!!) for a leaf salad with a few croutons thrown on top with 2 pieces of chicken?? Tell me, is it still okay? 🤡

Waited one hour and a half for some average, overpriced food. Service is good, waiters are nice. But one and a half hours is crazy. Go to the snack bar, same place, same atmosphere.

Amazing experience with food and wine. The four course menu was more than enough. Memorable loop de mer and a white Burgundy that had a note of... creamy polenta. The masterpiece was the Rinderfilet with a Spanish red but less impressive was the Rhabarber dessert. Elegant service with English speaking personnel. Breathtaking view of the river Rhine and of Cologne at a distance.

The one star is for the great view. We had booked a table for 6:45 p.m. because there was nothing available at Open Table for 7:00 p.m. After waiting in line at the entrance for 10 minutes, we were at the table at 7:00 p.m. Since, according to the waiter, all the menus were out of stock, we were asked to shorten the waiting time with a bottle of water. Which we rejected. We actually had to wait 20 minutes for the menu. This consisted of a few pages. The whole evening went on at this level. It was interesting to observe that the wine bottles were opened in a room next to the kitchen and the waitress or waiter took a sample sip there. A pity.

Fine dining in Bonn at a very high level in three respects - in terms of the location of the restaurant (17th floor in/above the Marriott Hotel with a magnificent view), the cuisine on offer (high-quality and varied menus and drinks) and the prices charged (In my opinion a tad too high, therefore only four stars for the food). The extremely friendly and professional service fits in seamlessly here and is definitely worth mentioning. Konrad's is definitely a recommendation for a special occasion and is unique in its kind in Bonn and the surrounding area.

Fantastic views with tasty cocktails

One of the really best restaurants in Bonn, great, well-trained staff, very tasty food, phenomenal view of Bonn and the Rhine.

French-influenced cuisine, a phenomenal view on the 17th floor of the Marriott overlooking the Bundesviertel, Rhine and Siebengebirge and the reputation of Felix Kaspar lured us to Konrad's on a Saturday evening for a special occasion. After a friendly reception, during which our coats and umbrellas were removed, we took a seat and were promptly greeted by the house sommelier, who looked after us professionally, personably and attentively throughout the evening. The choice quickly fell on the current 4-course menu with wine accompaniment and we accepted the recommendation for the aperitif. Both the non-alcoholic Konrad's Spritz and the Red Pleasure, an Aperol variant with rum, made a very good first impression. After an amuse-bouche, we took advantage of the clearing up to take a detour to the terrace and enjoy the view. Then the first two courses: foie gras with brioche and monkfish with puntine in a spicy jus. The high quality of the ingredients caught the eye and combining the goose liver pate with ice cream demonstrated a creative approach. Not only the taste, but also the color and texture create a harmonious overall picture. In the main course, a wafer-thin roasted texture was added to the super-tender milk veal on top of the potato cream. We also enjoyed the wine accompaniment. The sommelier Mr. Paulussen made a nice choice for the individual courses and discussed them rigorously in conjunction with the taste impressions of the respective course. And all without seeming stressed or rushed. In particular, the sweet wine with the foie gras and the final sparkling wine with the milk ice cream with citrus fruits and caramel stood out. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. At around 11 p.m. we received espresso and bill. It's nice to take the time for a special occasion. At the beginning of the menu the waiting time between courses was perhaps a bit long, but that leveled off as the evening progressed. The cuisine left an excellent impression; you can see how the team works in the open kitchen. The service is top and attentive and the atmosphere at Konrad's is beyond any doubt. At times the dress code of the guests seemed very casual. A location for special occasions, we will come back.

This restaurant is something very special. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was more than perfect. Starting with the service and the staff, we felt that we were extremely valued as customers. The drinks were always refilled immediately if you didn't have much in them, and everyone was super nice and very friendly. The ambience is really unique and the view is also beautiful. The food was then brought out at exactly the right times and breaks, we were told straight away what was in it and we knew what was on our plate. Everything was very, very finely laid out and nothing was missing. You have a pleasant feeling of fullness and you don't fall out. We decided on the 5 course menu and it was really delicious, really perfect and the dessert topped it all off. It is highly recommended if you want to experience something special. We'll be back and we're so happy we were there. It will remain a wonderful memory for us and will not be forgotten. Lots of love to the staff - you do everything so well ❤️

We had a very nice evening at Konrad's. We booked the table online and asked in the comments when booking to get a table by the window, as we thought you would certainly have a wonderful view of the Rhine. Our wish was granted and, as expected, the view from the 17th floor windows was beautiful. We chose the 5-course menu and it was really delicious. The individual portions weren't huge, but just the right amount to fill us up without feeling full. This is certainly also thanks to the experience of the chefs, who of course know exactly at what intervals to send the individual courses so that it is a "round" menu. The breaks between the individual courses were precisely coordinated - not too short and not too long. Before dessert we were asked whether it should be served straight away or whether we wanted to take a short break first, for example to have an espresso or something similar. to drink, which we gladly accepted and found to be very prudent. The service was very attentive, as soon as the water glass was empty someone came and refilled it. The explanations about the individual courses when serving were also great, so you were once again made aware of what you had in front of you on the beautifully presented plate. It was definitely worth the hour drive to Bonn.

We were invited to celebrate the promotion and were seated on high chairs in front of the kitchen. The menu selection was too limited, the portions tiny but tasty.

The food is at star level (more like French cuisine), we opted for the 5-course menu (around €100 per person), other highlights are the cocktail bar and the absolutely great view! In summer, the terrace outside on the 17th floor is recommended!

There is a bar and restaurant. I'd suggest reserving a table for dining, but for the bar you don't need a reservation. They serve delicious cocktails and the view is stunning.

Excellent, very refined French cuisine

We really liked Konrads, definitely a unique spot in Bonn, starting with the reception, the very attentive and friendly service and the view over the city - really impressive! The menu was well advertised and the service was excellent. The food itself tasted great, I really liked the presentation - rather understatement. Thank you for the lovely evening! It certainly wasn't the last visit!

Waited 45 minutes for the drink and 90 minutes for the food. 1 of the 3 waitresses was very unfriendly, the other two tried very hard. Given the level and prices, it should be better.

Conclusion: - View is an experience - Drinks poor quality - Service is ok for a bar of this caliber, not professional (they seem like student assistants who have been dressed chick) it's more of an appearance than it is. - Prices are exorbitant compared to the rest. - The menu is very small, the bar can neither create anything itself nor recommend anything, neither the waiters nor the bar know their way around drinks! Extremely disappointing! - the drinks taste strongly of alcohol and not of the drink. - the service doesn't observe but asks every 10 minutes if everything is ok. - Sorry! That was nothing! I want my time, my taste buds and my money back.

NO WAY!!! We wanted to have a beautifully romantic evening with late dinner and drinks... WHAT WE GOT... Stale wine, a place at the bar even though we wanted to eat and when we asked for a table that was already free, the request was rejected. After the receptionist now knew that we wanted to eat, he pointed out to us that we should hurry up with our choice. It was 9:45 p.m. and the The kitchen was open until 10 p.m. NO ONE asked us about our food order and the waitress came by about every 30 minutes. Now it was late to eat... Now we were able to watch how a couple HAD to change their table, which was already occupied with food, cocktails and a Viennese bottle, for 4 newly arrived guests... OUTSIDE HUI SERVICE PFUI!!!!!! *Addendum February 2024: This is the third attempt to share my experience, let's see how long it takes for it to be blocked again...

Bar with a great view of the Rhine area. Drinks have bar prices, you had to wait a little long for sweet potato fries and burgers... what was that about?

Simply a fantastic evening with delicious food, sensational service in a wonderful ambience. It has its price - but completely justified.

Eine sehr gepflegte skybar mit exzellenten Service und perfekten Cocktails.

Wundervolle Location mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal, das sehr zuvorkommend und zügig aus einem breiten Angebot hochwertiger Speisen und Getränke bietet. Sehr gute Öffnungszeiten, viele Parkplätze - und eine grandiose Aussicht. Jederzeit sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren anlässlich eines Jubiläums zu zweit im Restaurant. Alles in allem kann man nur sagen: „ganz großes Kino“. Die Qualität und der Einfallsreichtum des Menüs (5 Gänge mit Weinbegleitung) waren ausgezeichnet. Besonders der Service hat zum Gesamtbild beigetragen. Die Restaurantfachfrau konnte ohne nachzufragen über jede Komponente jedes Gerichts genaue Auskunft geben und die ausgewählten Weine perfekt beschreiben, einerseits geschmacklich, wie sie zum aktuellen Gericht passen, andererseits auch zum Weingut an sich. Man merkte bei jedem Mitarbeiter das ernsthafte Interesse an den Gerichten und dem Wohlbefinden des Gastes. Auch der kleine Bereich am Ende des Restaurants ohne Musik hat uns besonders gefallen, da man so alles noch besser genießen konnte. Anschließend wollten wir noch einen Cocktail an der Bar trinken. Leider kann man dazu dann nichts gutes mehr sagen. Im Barbereich wandelte sich das „ganz große Kino“ im einen B-Movie. Das Personal, welches dort servierte konnte keine Frage zufriedenstellend beantworten (Auf die Frage was denn Martini Fiero sei wurde einfach nur gesagt er sei halt rot. Auf die Frage nach dem Unterschied zu Martini Rosso konnten 3 Kellner nur die Schultern Zucken. Die Cocktails schmeckten uninspiriert bis nicht trinkbar und waren dabei mit 15€ pro Cocktail dramatisch überteuert (wenn man sich die Basis Spirituosen angesehen hat). Im Fazit also eines solchen Restaurants unwürdig. Wir haben den Abend trotzdem in besonderer Erinnerung behalten. Das fantastische Essen und der beeindruckende Service im Restaurant ist jederzeit einen Besuch wert. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Nur den Cocktail sparen wir uns dann.
