We visited the Tapas y Mas restaurant today, Thursday, and enjoyed one of the best palla and tapas dishes of our lives. These tapas, especially palla, are only available in Spain in 4-star restaurants and above. We would like to thank the chef of this restaurant, who provided us with an unforgettable evening, as well as the friendly waiters, who served us so well. We hope to return again. Very spacious place. Super friendly and attentive waiters. The food is good quality, and the atmosphere is pleasant, redolent of typical Spanish dishes.

The food was okay. The taste was nothing exceptional. We shared a platter of various tapas. Most of it was tasty. The presentation of the dishes really made us want to eat it, but the food itself wasn't convincing.

We were a group of 11 people out for dinner. Making a reservation wasn't a problem, as we could call as early as 10:00 a.m. The service was rather mediocre: the waiter only came twice to order drinks. The advertised white wine was served warm, as was the apple juice spritzer. My wife ordered a wine spritzer, which was also served warm; the second time we asked for a cold wine spritzer, we were served a glass with ice cubes. We ordered the "Tapas Special Platter for 2 People," which featured meat, fish, and vegetarian specialties. The platter was lavishly decorated and topped with salad, fried liver, chicken pieces, squid rings, green peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, potatoes, and croquettes with three sauces. Because everything was served at once, it was rather lukewarm and difficult to enjoy. The taste was rather average.

The food is good; it feels like it used to be better. The staff is friendly, and you can eat there even with large groups. However, the food is quite expensive compared to nearby restaurants.

I had such a great experience here — the service was fast, friendly, and super efficient. Every dish we ordered was delicious, but the seafood really stood out — incredibly fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they care about quality. From start to finish, everything was spot-on. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great tapas and a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. Delicious food, very delicious! I've been looking for Spanish food in Germany for a long time, and it's delicious here. The paella is just like in Valencia, and the place is very pretty.

The food is delicious; the warm bread basket with homemade herb butter and a variety of tapas is especially recommended. The staff is very friendly, quick, and happy to accommodate special requests. Eating on the terrace on warm summer evenings creates a bit of a holiday feeling. I wish the background music were a bit louder to better convey the Spanish feel. All in all, we go there at least twice a year and will be back.

Spanisches Restaurant, nicht ungemütlich, mit sehr schönem Innenhof. Drinnen war die Musik für Unterhaltungen (oder um Bestellungen aufzugeben) einfach zu laut. Der Service war schnell und gut. Habe nur ein paar Tapas gegessen, die gut bis okay waren. Vorsicht: Nur Barzahlung (wurde allerdings bei der Begrüßung direkt angesprochen).

Simply fantastic! Waitress Lorena treated us to a truly wonderful and fun evening! We sat in a beautiful courtyard with a great atmosphere! The food was fantastic. Very fresh and the tapas portions were generous.

I just had a nice afternoon tapas after walking around Berlin. Tapas was really nice even the quality of jamon serrano wasn’t really high quality and cheese doesn’t need to be in oil. Taste still was good. I loved the chorizos ❤️

Very friendly and professional service, and our platter for two was not only delicious but also tasted great. We truly felt very comfortable.

Tapas and much more. The atmosphere, the clientele, the service (Hassan?), the food, the prices, and plenty of parking in front of the door. Everything was absolutely fantastic. As a somewhat older professional in the gastronomic scene, if I had to criticize anything, it would be the endlessly long menu. I could barely get through it; a few fewer items wouldn't have been a disadvantage.

A very nice Spanish restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, both with the menu selection and with the warning about the upcoming rain (otherwise, the courtyard outside was lovely). The tapas platter for three people was just as delicious as the goat cheese salad. We'd be happy to go again!

Jolie terrasse dans la cour intérieure du bâtiment à l'arrière de la salle. J'ai choisi trois tapas pour dïner rapidement avant d'aller écouter un récital de piano au Konzerthaus : des calmars frits (trop gras), des croquettes d'épinards (bonnes) et des filets de poulet dans une sauce au miel (trop secs). J'ai bu un verre d'Apfelschorle. Sympa entre amis mais pas tout seul où l'on ne peut que constater la qualité médiocre des plats.

Great food and service at Lorena

A diverse selection of Spanish tapas and other dishes. Very friendly and attentive staff. We received a very friendly welcome, even without a reservation, and a very pleasant farewell. The tapas plate for three people was very plentiful and delicious. For us, as spicy food lovers, it could have been a bit spicier. All in all, we were very satisfied and would return!

We just need a final glass for the night and the personnel kindly greeted and accommodated us. The place had a very wide terrace, large interior and a variety of choices in term of food and drinks.

Auf der Suche nach einem Italiener und etwas zu essen landete ich hier im Tapas y Mas. Der Italiener nebenan sprach nicht nicht so an. Beide haben einen tollen Innenhof. Auf drinnen sah alles gut aus. Ich aß Speckmantel, Rippchen, Hackbällchen und Kaninchen. Die ersten drei Tapas waren gut. Dazu gab es spanisches Bier vom Fass, dass sehr lecker war. Der Service war auf Zack und so war ich um 21 Uhr wieder auf dem Weg nach Hause.

You can enjoy delicious Spanish dishes here in a very sociable atmosphere. The service is entertaining, but also sometimes erratic and unfocused. You'll get more points if you can also pay by card....

Incredibly delicious food. Authentic Spanish cuisine in an atmospheric, bright ambience. Light streams into the restaurant through large windows from the cozy courtyard, where you can sit outside when the weather is nice. Reasonably priced, good portions, fresh ingredients, deliciously prepared and seasoned. Very friendly staff. Definitely coming back soon.

The service was really very good, quick and courteous. There's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the food didn't really impress us. It was rather average. There is no difference between the red and green mojo sauce, it was just mayonnaise, sometimes red, sometimes green. We actually know the red one to be much hotter and spicier, but most Germans probably don't want that. But that's why you go eat somewhere else, right?

We had great service during our dinner with a very friendly waiter and the food was delicious. The prices are also quite reasonable for this part of town. They don't have the usual tapas you'll find in a small tapas place in spain but a lot of choices nonetheless

The tapas are worth a try . Plentiful and tasty mix of foods. Very good service and fast kitchen. The toilets are not as good ,but not a big deal.

You can't ask for more from Berlin, but the food really doesn't taste good. I ordered croquettes with mojo sauce, and the sauce had no flavor. The food isn't worth it if you're expecting true Spanish flavors. But they were very attentive and friendly.

Paella for 2 people is very small. You're still hungry afterwards. And then around €20 per person is very questionable.

We went to Tapas today and were thrilled by the good service and the Spanish cuisine. Lorena in particular was very friendly, personable and very service-oriented.

We went to Tapas y más with a large group of 22 people and had a great evening! The service was incredibly fast and friendly - a huge thank you to Laurena, who served us very nicely. The food was delicious and despite the large group, everything went smoothly. We'd love to come back!

The food was nice but when you have to withdraw cash from the ATM by the hotel across street it gets pricey. Please fix your card reader.

There are good restaurants and there is this one. We visited this restaurant expecting to eat authentic Spanish tapas. This expectation was not fulfilled at all. I really rarely have things brought back to the kitchen, but this restaurant did it. 4 out of 7 tapas were inedible. The calamari were soggy and tasteless. The shrimp tasted expired. Even the waitress confirmed after trying them that they really weren't tasty at all. The croquettes, phew, a real disgrace. We would have had a better taste experience if we had bought croquettes next door at Netto TK. The croquettes were definitely not homemade and the chef doesn't seem to be able to use the microwave. The dishes were all lukewarm. The tapas we kept (ribs in honey sauce, meatballs in tomato sauce and a plate of jacket potatoes) were also unimpressive. The meat was hard and also lukewarm. At good tapas restaurants, bread is included. In this we paid over €4 for some baked and dry slices of chabatta and some aioli. When we pointed out the poor tapas to the waitress, she took them back after some discussion and found the calamari and shrimp themselves to be inedible. When it came to the croquettes, she said that they have always tasted like this for OVER 20 YEARS (!!). On a positive note, the waitress deducted the returned tapas from the bill after some discussion. However, the €40 we paid for the rest is still not appropriate. If you want bad food very quickly (the food came in less than 10 minutes), I recommend visiting this restaurant. Everyone else, any fast food chain will give you a better experience.

Went to Germany for vacation with my family and ran across this restaurant. This restaurant has by far some of the best food I have ever tasted.the atmosphere is beautiful and the service is good and fast.

I was there late in the evening with four friends. The service wasn't very attentive and we didn't like the food.

Spacious rooms, friendly service. But: tapas disappointing. Shrimp in white wine with no taste (at least 11.90 euros), small potatoes with mojo completely overcooked, mojo boring without heat or aroma, chicken breast falling apart, mini pieces in also boring sauce. A little piece of Spain in the city! We had the great pleasure of dining at Tapas y mas and it was an absolute delight! The food was simply outstanding - every dish was freshly prepared and full of authentic flavors. We had beef, chicken and scampi, and everything was delicious! Simply heavenly!!! The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a charming Mediterranean flair that immediately put me in the holiday mood. The decoration is tasteful and creates a relaxed and cozy environment, perfect for a lovely evening. The highlight of the evening, however, was the wonderful service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They made us feel very welcome and contributed to an overall successful experience. All in all, I can only warmly recommend Tapas y mas. It is a gem for all Spanish food lovers and a place I will definitely visit again. Full 5 stars!!!

We really enjoy being here, especially the landlord, Hassan, who goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable here. Actually 5 stars! The only thing missing is music, which is only available at the front of the bar, live music music would of course be even better,

Really friendly and fantastic food. Tapas was excellent and the paella very food. Often visit Valencia and this is a real find here in Germany.

Despite a limited menu for a larger evening party, there was an exceptionally long wait for the food, which was okay and rather fatty, but nothing special. But there may be more to discover on the map... :-)

They serve a wide variety of really good tapas. The service is fast and knowledgeable. And you don't have to worry about reservations as the restaurant is large, and there is even a very nice garden (for the smokers and oxygen lovers).

Only came here because there was nothing else open. I should have just gotten chips and gummy bears from the vending machine instead. Aside from not having many items available, the food lacked flavor and depth, especially for tapas. Maybe we caught the chef on a bad day but everything that we tried was bad. Furthermore, I became stomach sick early the next morning due to their food. I would suggest avoiding this place and finding real tapas elsewhere.

Nice restaurant, and we had a reasonably good meal there. Unfortunately, we ran out of certain things on the menu so we had to order something else. Staff was friendly.

When taking the order, I immediately received the strange message that we could only pay in cash - although it is clearly stated otherwise on the door. The fish croquettes as tapa did not bode well: tasteless, purchased frozen product with a sour green mayonnaise. If we had tasted with our eyes closed, we would both have chosen a cheese croquette.... Certainly not the chef's home-made tapas that the menu talks about. The paella consisted of 90% rice, onion, garlic and (dry) pieces of chicken. With 1 prawn and 1 mussel (!) per person, the poorest garnish EVER. Vegetables are otherwise completely absent, except for a few stray beans. Where were the peppers, peas, chorizo....? I can't believe we waited almost an hour for that (even though there were hardly any people in the restaurant). We didn't feel like ordering dessert for a long time after this fiasco. Finally, the setting itself: cheerless and cold, pop music in the background that lowers the atmosphere even more. To be avoided!

With a Google rating of only 3.9, I probably wouldn't have gone here with 20 guests if a colleague hadn't given us a good tip. The reservation and organization was completely uncomplicated and professional. The service was impeccable - despite the restaurant being full. I, but also our guests, felt very comfortable. The dishes were typical of a Spanish restaurant. My chicken dish was delicious, maybe a little too much ;-). So in my opinion the rating should be significantly higher compared to other restaurant reviews! Try it out.

Comimos aquí dos veces durante nuestra visita de cinco días a Berlín. Ambos tiempos fueron maravillosos. Recomendamos encarecidamente la Paella con mariscos. Es imposible saberlo desde el frente, pero hay un patio precioso que comparten con el restaurante italiano vecino. Sólo aceptan efectivo.

I didn't actually eat anything, but I went there with my buddies to have a drink. The server was so friendly, and English friendly, even offered to tell me where cool places were nearby if I wanted to party. (Alexanderplatz by the way) Great stuff.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but the chicken was dry, the menu itself doesn’t explain with details how will be the food, if you haven’t tried Spanish food before will be a mess. It wasn’t bad but was not good either. If you run out of options, is still decent to eat there, but I wouldn’t come back.

You let unfriendly staff bounce off you somewhere. But the fact that you get old, newly reheated chicken pieces and then the waitress complains that the tip is €0 is tough. I haven't been to a restaurant this bad in a long time

I ordered a steak for 25 euros. The steak was OK in size, but the side dishes were extremely manageable. Far too manageable for my taste. I would still have liked to eat something after the 25 euros, but didn't see the point of ordering another dish after a 25 euros meal. So at 25 euros I want to be full afterwards! There could have been a few more pieces of potato. ... Of course there was no free mini appetizer or a free mini drink afterwards, as you would expect from good restaurants.

Wir hatten 3 Gänge, als Hauptgang Tapas Spezialplatte für 2 P. (Fleisch, Fisch, vegetarisch). Es hat uns alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Koch macht immer verschiedene Zusammenstellungen, für uns extra noch die Lieblings-Tapas des Services zusätzlich oben drauf - was will man mehr?! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fatal, for a bottle of water and a coke they charge us 15 euros, we ask to pay by card and they don't have one and when you insist they tell you that they are going to ask the place next door for the dataphone xddd the food is rubbish and the waiters fighting over who is going to smoke first in front of the clients, I won't come back even if they pay me.

We had a lovely time here. The tapas were excellent and the warm bread with aoili was very good. The service wasn't perfect, but it was friendly and fine for the kind of evening we wanted - a cozy time in the garden.

It's absurd that there is a restaurant in the capital where you can't pay by card. I hope that the tax authorities will take an interest in this place.

We asked for the tapas with meat and it was absolutely terrible. Worst food I've been served in a long time. Overcooked, dry, tasteless, bad presentation. Just a bunch of meat on top of some lettuce. No bread or olives. Even the sauces were bad. Not a good representation of the Spanish tapas. The waiters didn't look like they were enjoying a bit working there. They were not rude, just in indifferent.

Hier war es richtig spanisch und auch die Speisen waren vorzüglich, reichlich und gut gewürzt. Wir haben während der Fußballspieles Spanien-Kroatien ein paar schöne Stunden mit vielen Spaniern verbracht und sehr schön im Hofgarten gesessen. Auch die Preise sind akzeptabel. Gerne wieder.

The patio is great, the beer is decent. The food is terrible - tasteless and doesn't seem fresh. We ordered the tapas for two with meat because they couldn't guarantee no seafood if we ordered the mixed one. I am sure we just ate either yesterday's presunto or one made out of plastic. And this was the best item on the plate. There are no sides, no bread, nothing but a few kinds of truly tasteless meat. We were hungry and couldn't get ourselves to finish it. One of the recent comments below advises to come for a beer and get your food elsewhere, and I couldn't agree more. Eating here will just make you angry.

If you like tappas, you've come to the right place, nice atmosphere, whether outside in the large beer garden or inside, the service was very good, the waiters tried to serve everyone very quickly and also gave very good advice on the dishes. Delicious Spanish 🍺 is also available, even in a 1.5l pitcher. Definitely recommended all around.
