Uncomfortable to sit on. Food is terrible. It's like a warmed-up frozen food, at least the tortilla. You can't write off the receipt because they write in Spanish!!! It's not an invoice. My tax advisor had to tell me that.

First of all, I’ve worked in the restaurant business as a server so I understand mistakes can happen. We were mistakenly charged for the wrong bill and the server said that she would have to charge me again and hopefully the wrong one would likely come off my credit card overnight but she wasn’t definite about it. I said “that’s annoying“ because it did annoy me but charged my card again. Should I have just smiled and take it? As I was walking out she said in front of other customers across the restaurant “can I give you a tip?“ and she told me “to be nicer to servers!“. She also said I’m an engineer and was up since 5am etc. I think that was very rude and really unnecessary when all I did was express my annoyance for having to swipe my card twice. I was more annoyed at the situation than actually at her. It’s not my problem that she’s unhappy with her job really and she shouldn’t take it out on paying customers. Also I gave her a 15% tip on the first wrong check. I also had a long day and was up since 6am too and don’t think I deserved to be treated with a nasty attitude, and berated in front of the whole restaurant like this. I also have the add the patatas bravas weren’t fresh and smelled like garbage. Never going back there again.

The service was very friendly, the food came quickly and tasted fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was that you sit relatively close together with other guests.

It's okay, the place is small and cozy but nothing out of this world and very expensive, they also make you agree to leave a tip or not... 1 tapa, a beer and an espresso €16...Another of many places where the tapas are good but they are nothing out of this world and they are not professional, I expected more.

The tapas were really tasty, very well made. The seating wasn't that nice. You sat very close together with other customers. It was very loud. It was very strange that we were supposed to speak English to the waiter in our hometown, even though the official language here is still German. We were au after 2 hours fdemanded to leave. This could have been communicated better in advance. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back.

Found this high up on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. Beautiful, authentic Spanish tapas and stunning decor. Great location, right on the square at Alexanderplatz! The food was amazing, particularly the Jamon and cheese platter it was to die for! Great first feed in Berlin and perfect if you're not overly hungry and want some picky bits to share. Restaurant is small so I recommend booking.

It was a very bad experience. Two people working, but more interested in other issues than attending the clients. We complained, after waiting several minutes, but the attitude remained the same. Then, at the middle of the meal, we payed, made a formal complain, and left. It was a pitty, because the place seemed very nice and with good reviews...

No, because the kitchen was closed at lunchtime despite a reservation. The waitress, who also spoke little German or English, said it was open, but there were only cold dishes and gestured that we should leave. Don't go there if you're looking for tasty and generous tapas and especially NOT for a business lunch. We had to wait 20min before placing our orders. Food was delivered at different times for everyone, two of us got our sandwiches (simple bocadillo with ham and cheese) 20min after everyone else. The sandwiches were average, with 2 very thin slices of cheese in it - for 10EUR. Clearly a bad service (felt like it was even done on purpose). The waitress made my phone fall from the table, and didn't even serve enough glasses for everyone, even after asking. Never going back there again.

Our experience at El Comado was wonderful, and Gastón's service was one of the highlights. He was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure to help us understand each dish and ensuring that everything came out perfectly. We started with the Iberian ham croquettes, which were exceptional: crispy on the outside, with an incredibly creamy filling and a wonderful touch of cheese that made all the difference. Next, we tried the toast with caramelized onion, goat cheese and walnuts, a perfect combination of sweetness and texture that surprised and delighted us. Afterwards, we ordered the Patatas Bravas, which came with a simply spectacular tomato sauce, balanced and full of flavor. Finally, we tried the Chorizo ​​in Cider, which was very tasty and well seasoned. However, it is worth mentioning that it can be a little spicy for those who are not used to pepper. Between the cozy atmosphere, the impeccable food and the warm service from Gastón, our visit to El Comado was unforgettable. An experience that combines authentic flavors and impeccable service.

A gem of a Spanish restaurant that truly delivers on flavor. We tried a variety of tapas, and each dish was delicious and authentically prepared. The prices are slightly on the high end, it’s a fair choice for a casual yet satisfying dining experience. What stood out the most was the incredible dedication of the staff. When we visited, we were the first customers of the day, and we were amazed to see one lady running the entire restaurant. We ordered patatas bravas, 9.80 euros for a ridiculous tray with "alioli" and "salsa brava", excessively expensive, the concept is sold and when they serve it to you you laugh. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant... Für meinen Geschmack alles sehr fad und nicht meinen Erfahrungen der spanischen Küche entsprechend. Leider wurde auf Reklamationen nicht eingegangen. Die patata bravas schmeckten im Prinzip wie Fischstäbchen. Auch auf Nachfragen würde lediglich gesagt, dass dies nicht sein könne. Interessant... Leider waren die Aioli und auch die Gambas völlig ohne Geschmack. Für uns gibt es keinen Grund hier wiederzukommen. Alles in allem leider nicht empfehlenswert.

As a Spanish person I can say that since I leave Spain I've been looking for a place that offers real Spanish food, I couldn't found it, until now. Not only is good food, it is amazing, seems like you are eating in Spain. The quality is very nice, te food is tasty, the prices are good, the service is friendly and fast. They even gave me a cheesecake for my birthday and sang happy birthday to me! How careful and sweet people!!! More than satisfied with my choices, If I ever come back to Berlin, this restaurant is my first stop.

Wir wollten eigentlich nur eine Kleinigkeit Essen. Habe uns jeweils ein Brot mit unterschiedlichen Belag ausgesucht. Erst einmal hat es 30 Min. gedauert bis die Schlafmütze von Kellner aktiviert wurde und dann war es eine Brötchenhälfte mit vier kleinen Stücken Wurst und ein Spiegelei für 6,50 €. Bei meiner Frau Ziegenkäse auf verbranntem Brötchen. Der Laden ist Hip augenscheinlich, das Essen ist nicht zu empfehlen. Am Ende wurde noch eine falsche Rechnung präsentiert und wir wurden mit verpiss dich verabschiedet.

Tried this place on our first night in Berlin. Fantastic location with delicious food. The calamari and the croquettes were favourites. Service was a little slow but wasn't a problem as we weren't in a rush.

Fast and friendly service. The food is very tasty and is served attractively. We particularly liked the “Donated Meal for Children in Need” campaign, which people are happy to order from. It would be nice if more restaurants followed this example.

I went to eat during my stay in Berlin as I fancied something "from home" and I was not disappointed. Very good service and they made me feel like one more. The delicious food, the potato omelette and the Iberian ham and cheese sandwich were to die for. And the Estrella Galicia that I drank was also refreshing and delicious.

Really bad service. I called since yesterday to reserve a table for 25 people. Nobody told me that there was no table anymore but took my contact details. To date I have spoken to 3 people on the phone, had to give my contact details twice and had to write an email to make the reservation only to be told by email at the end that they no longer had a table. If it starts like that!!!! And apparently you don't want to make any money. So not recommended at all!!!!

Food was okish, portions were small. We got the chorizo cooked with cider, which wasn’t great. The anchovies with tomatoes were not bad, and the calamari were ok too.

Food as good as you could ask for such an establishment, chorizo cooked in cider that melts in the mouth (a fave of Fernando Alonso, so the menu said!) A bit of misunderstanding between us and the waiter a few times (e.g. concerning our request for tap/table water) but I put that down to a mild language barrier. Nonetheless polite, as was the lady who served us later. Oh, and you get a view of the TV tower, where we'd been previously, which is pretty neat.

In the vast variety of multi-ethnic cuisines, a Spanish dinner in Berlin could not be missing. As a great visitor to the Iberian peninsula, I must say the excellent quality of the products and the impeccable service. A little trip to Spain. Congratulations to the staff!

There were 8 of us and we had booked in advance. Was served tapas, but many dishes were in 6 copies. The waiter appeared very inexperienced. Drinks came late. Will not return.

Bad experience. Not because of the food but because when we went to pay, we had booked with the 30% discount from The Fork app, which indicates a 30% discount on the menu. We have warned as soon as we sat down to avoid misunderstandings. When paying, they only charge us 30% on DRINKS (water) and tell us no on food. We complain and they tell us that it is a system thing and that they cannot change it. Curiously, the day before we also went and they did it to us. How strange, right? We have felt cheated.

Unfortunately a lot of money for little food. It was tasty, but I think €11 for half a ciabatta with a few slices of salami and a fried egg and €9 for 6 croquettes with cheese/bacon filling is very overpriced.

It was a nice found in Berlin. The manager was super accommodating and the staff was very friendly. We visited the restaurant multiple times in 10-day visit. Unfortunately no pic since it was exactly what I expected in a Spanish tapas bar like in Spain. Highly recommended if you like Spanish tapas.

Their Empanadas is a must try. I would have liked the fried anchovies crispier. Patatas Bravas is a no no, as they tasted neutral and the sauces on top did not add any flavour. Personal opinion: I felt the need to add salt in all the foods. Their churros with hot chocolate sauce is a must try. Shout out to the great service offered. Overall, the experience was good.

My new tapas - favorite location! Even though I can't describe the space directly in front of it as sexy undenied, the inside is beautiful, well ventilated and magically decorated. The food is amazing, the taps are great and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. Great wines by the way. We really like it there!
