Directly at Görlitzer Park, I was very positively surprised. Great ambience and good food. I redeemed a voucher from Mydays and was totally satisfied.

Everything was good and the food tasted good. The best was the flank steak. Beer was cold and tasty and espresso martini was tasty too. Service was friendly. Shop was very busy. But we had a reservation and therefore got a place.

Tasty food, a little bit too salty for my taste, but still enjoyable. The calamari was great. The grated tomatoes with bread (starter) were amazing. The pepper stuffed with crudo was also great. These are the top 3 of our 6 ordered dishes, imo. With honourable mention to the ham croquettes. Would recommend!

A chill place with a relaxed vibe and easygoing staff that made us feel right at home. The food and drinks were great, and we had a fantastic time just enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend trying the beetroot with goat cheese—it was a standout dish! Overall, a great spot to unwind and enjoy some good company.

Ich komme im 6. Jahr zur Bar Raval, um meinen Geburtstag zu feiern und noch nie wurde ich begrüßt "hallo bist Du das Geburtstagskind...herzlichen Glückwunsch...."oder ähnlich. Ich lasse da jedes Mal mehrere Hundert Euro pro Geburtstag und es gibt nichtmal einen Absacker am Ende aufs Haus oder bei der Abrechnung "1 Wasser geht auf uns" ( das wären 5EUR auf der Rechnung, weniger als 1 EUR im Einkauf). Gar nichts"! Immer hat man als Gast das Gefühl, dass man stört, wenn man etwas bestellen möchte. Daran muss das Team jedenfalls noch arbeiten - es sei denn, das Nicht-Lächeln ist das Image der Bar Raval. Jedenfalls ist das für das Geburtstagskind nicht schön, wenn man so ignoriert wird. Letztes Jahr hatte ich woanders gefeiert und dort wurde sogar mein Tisch mit Blumen und Kerzen geschmückt! So kann es auch gehen..... :-))

Very nice place and very cozy. The portions are rather smaller and yet more expensive. The waiting times between the tapas were very long. It's a bit uncomfortable when one tapas comes 30 minutes after the others and someone always has to watch you eat. Otherwise recommended.

Beautiful gastro bar with very friendly staff and most of all great food. The cava list is also very well stocked, highly recommend for a nice aperitif or a dinner with friends

Quite pricey for Kreuzberg, the free bread they served was not that good, you probably should order the bread on the menu for better quality, but overall the tapas were of good quality and the service. Just prepare yourself for being asked constantly for money if you sit outside, which is not the restaurants fault.

It was a pleasure to come celebrate my birthday here with all my friends. I didn't expect to feel so close to Españita being so far away. The dishes were very authentic and the staff so friendly that my friends asked me if the waiter and I had met before. I will return for sure, and so will they because what we had for dinner was a delight. WHAT CROQUETTES! AND WHAT WINE! Booking here was a real success. Thank you so much :)

So the food was really incredibly good and tasted better than I thought it would and could have wished for. You could also have a really nice chat with the staff, so I'll definitely try to go there again.

Fun atmosphere (don’t be scared off by the graffiti); good food & wine & amazing waitstaff- really really cannot say enough about the service- really lovely people. We had a cava rose, fried Sardelle, iberico, flank steak & baked cheese- all very nice, served fresh & quick. Families, couples, lots of friends meeting up… nice place!!

Bar Raval is a Spanish tapas bar that offers a wide selection of wines. The atmosphere is appealing, ideal for a cozy evening. Unfortunately, the food didn't completely convince us. Most of the dishes were lightly seasoned/salted, which meant that the typical Spanish flavor was a little lacking. The octopus stood out positively and we liked it the best. There were some delays in service; Our reservation via Google wasn't known upon arrival, which led to a rocky start. We also found the prices to be rather high, considering the quality and service offered. Overall, our visit to Bar Raval was okay, but not impressive enough to plan another visit. However, the large selection could be a draw for wine lovers.

Best Spaniard in the area! The atmosphere in the bar is the closest to that in Spain. The food is very tasty and authentic, even if not cheap. The tapas and wine selection completely convinced me and I can only recommend the bar. If you are willing to spend some money and have a nice evening in return, then this is the right choice; 10/10

Operator has filed a request for deletion due to defamation - I was there in October 2023 and posted the following: "Unfortunately, the food was only so-so (eggplants were delicious), I was disappointed with the rest." Went there in a large group and tried a lot. Attached are pictures of the food, unfortunately the steak was tough and the ingredients didn't seem to be of high quality.

Modern and classic tapas served in a great ambience. The vegan tapas, timbal sobrasada and the sirloin fillet are highly recommended. There is also a large selection of good wines, beer and cocktails.

Thanks to the team at Bar Raval, it would have been nice to spend more time there. We definitely had fun with you.

The food felt pricey at first, but honestly the portions are totally worth the price! Taste wise everything was amazing and this is coming from someone who spent a lot of time trying out all different kinds of tapas in Barcelona. The Sangria might be the best I had so far, in Germany at least definitely! The music is amazing and the waiters are very nice 👍🏻 I would go here again anytime!

Nomineed the worst service of the year. As a group of 10 we asked for recommandation to have food together, Tapas to share. We got served 1 to 2 plates at the time every 10-15minutes for 2 hours. This made it impossible to share it as all were hungry and we never had a full table of food. How do you share 1 plate every 5 minutes in 10, each a fork. So we kindly asked the service, to accumulate plates in the kitchen and bring 5 at the time as we ordered 18 plates, 2 or 3 times of each dish, to make it easier for the kitchen... "the kitchen do it this way" As a chef I can say the Kitchen organisation was the worst i have experienced, sure they had no real chef. How can you feed 13 people by sending 1-2 plates every 15 minutes. Even pimientos del padron we ordered 3 plates and got them served 1 at 20.15, 20.20, 20.40 why? To the customers: dont go as big groups. To the restaurant: dont take groups this big you can not handle & try to work with the peoples needs... The restaurant was not so busy, we left all hungry and upsad of one of the worst dining experience. A friend can cook the same from a thiny kitchen at home.

The whole thing was a gift. Location opposite the Görlitz park entrance. If you like rustic, authentic, neighborhood and scene, this is the place for you. The food was ok. Service easy. However, we won't be coming back! 😉

Food very tasty and authentic. Service was a bit inattentive and toilets were run down. Considering this, it's a bit overpriced.

Cozy and warm Tapas Bar in the heart of Kreuzberg. Wines and service are excellent. You can sit outside and just have a nice glass of wine with some sweet nibbles. Love how welcoming and approachable the place is, even though it looks much fancier it is quite affordable. Standouts were the goat cheese, the octopus and the Croquettes. Though I felt like some of the dishes lacked a little seasoning. But what the food lacked was made up by the warm service and atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a catch up with a big group of friends!

I absolutely cannot understand the positive recessions here. We visited the Tapas Bar yesterday and made a reservation in advance. When we got there we weren't even greeted. After we were seated I can only say that I have rarely experienced such a desert of service. After two aperitivi and a few starters we decided to go somewhere else. Unfortunately an absolute fail.

Went there spontaneously on Saturday evening and got a nice table for two outside. The service is very nice, the team has everything under control and the food was also very tasty. We have finally found a “typical” Spaniard that we have been looking for for a long time. We'll definitely be back!!

Once upon a time... visited again after years and the disappointment was great. No longer a place that invites you to linger. The food is mediocre to bland and you can't call it a bar, considering the opening and closing times.

Tiny portions even though it is a tapas bar, the real sous vide meat was tiny. It took them a long time to bring the drinks and tapas. We had to remind the waiters twice that we ordered croquettes. I must say the quality is excellent but prepare your wallet.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is just amazing! Even though we were a large group and ordered a lot of different things, they didn’t mix up the order and every single plate was served timely. Their house wine was above average and the service was excellent.

In this place I have eaten the worst calamari that has been served to me in my entire life. The fish totally dry and very salty. The fish were not fresh. The other dishes (grilled vacuum and Russian salad) taste good, but the portions are very small, I don't recommend going there hungry.

Tolle Tapas-Bar in Kreuzberg. Die Tapas waren lecker. Die Bedienung war schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam. Wegen der schlechten Akustik gibt es leider nicht die volle Punktzahl von mir.

We had to redeem a voucher and came across the Bar Raval. I have to say we are thrilled. Great ambience, super nice staff and the tapas were a poem accompanied by an excellent wine. That definitely wasn't the last time we were there.

I can just confirm that is a real spanish restaurant. In Berlin is often to find spanish restaurants that are not spanish at all. The meat here is amazing! Do not leave the restaurant withouth trying the blue cheese "croqueta" and the wonderful cheesecake Vasca, never ttied something better in my life!!! That was actually the 5th time that I vistited it but definetly not the Last one!!

A charming tapas bar with a warm ambiance and excellent wine selection. The staff is attentive and welcoming, and a big plus is that you can book a table online. As for the food , while the patatas bravas could have been crisper, the chorizo and olives were delicious. The croquettes were creamy and satisfying, though the eggplant with agave syrup was a letdown, due to the fishy taste, possibly the frying oil was shared with another dish. Nevertheless, the attentive service promptly addressed the issue and removed the dish from the bill. Overall, it’s a cute spot for a date night.

Delicious tapas and sangria, but very loud

A recent work event hired one of their experts to teach me and my colleagues about Spanish wines and vermouth. We also learned about Spanish beer which was a bonus. It was so much fun that I was sad when it was finished. I would highly recommend them!

Great tapas bar with very attentive service. The menu offers a wide selection. However, I found the taste to be a bit uninspired at times. The restaurant is simply furnished. Nice, but unfortunately not so great acoustically.

Excellent service, very decent food, the only complaint is the bread with tomato, which is well known to be impossible to make decently in Germany because tomatoes are a disgrace. The calamari with black aioli are very good and the batter thin and crispy. Mega correct price.

We reserved a table and when we arrived the place was busy, so we had to wait a bit. The wait staff were very nice and despite the moment of stress noticed our discomfort while standing there and made it up to us throughout the evening. We really appreciated the service and the attention, along with the food, that the was fast, on point and very good. Also, one of the few places that still keeps fair prices. We will definitely go back!

An hour and a half passed before all the food was there. In terms of taste, there are better options for eating tapas.

I called a Monday afternoon more than 10 times , trying in diferent hours as I understand they can be in rush, not a single time they answered....

Unfortunately the food was rather average. The service was very nice but not entirely reliable. The wine was very good but rather expensive. It's a shame, we probably won't come back. Nevertheless, good luck!

A Catalan bar in Berlin. Delicious tapas, with hats off for the jamón ibérico croquettes. Nice decoration and helpful staff. Definitely worth the experience.

Gutes spanisches Restaurant in Kreuzberg. Übersichtliche Speisekarte, was gut ist, es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Von den kleinsten Tapas, Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte bis zum Dessert. Schneller, aber unaufdringlicher Service. Man wird von einer Unmenge an Kellner/innen bedient, für den Gast etwas unübersichtlich und im ersten Anschein etwas konzeptionslos, aber alle Bestellungen, außer eine, kamen recht flott und vollständig. Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionsgrößen einem mehrgängigen Menü angepasst . Bei Bestellung einer Flasche Wein bekommt man ein Glas vorab zum Probieren. Netter Gag ist der Gin-Tonic Spezial auf der Dessertkarte. Preislich angemessen, ist halt kei Fastfood, aber von teuer weit entfernt. Großer Außenbereich auf dem Gehweg der Görlitzer und Lübbener Straße.

Nirgendwo ist Berlin spanischer als hier! Tolle Tapas, gigantische Auswahl, faire Preise, sehr authentischer Service. Wenn sie näher an meiner Wohnung wäre, wäre ich hier zweimal die Woche.

Booked this place last minute and am glad we did. We had a really nice meal here with some great food and wine. Its a neighbourhood type place so quite informal. Would definitely go here again.

Besser geht nicht! Authentische Tapas PUR. Selbst das Personal spricht überwiegend nur Spanisch oder Englisch, was sich dadurch noch mehr danach anfühlt, in Spanien in einer traditionellen Tapasbar zu sitzen.

Tolle Tapasbar, aufmerksame Bedienung, sehr gute Weine und eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Tapas.

Wir waren mit einer sehr großen Gruppe (ca. 25 Personen) vor Ort und hatten einen kleinen eigenen Bereich. Das Restaurant ist wunderschön eingerichtet und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Wir haben jeweils verschiedene Tapas für alle bestellt und jede einzelne davon hat großartig geschmeckt!! Besonders lecker war das Auberginen Tempura aber auch die Batatas bravas und die Garnelen. Der Mix aus Fleisch, Fisch und Vegetarisch/Vegan war ebenfalls super und jeder wurde fündig. Der Service war hervorragend, sehr lieb und wir mussten nie lange warten. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Vielen Dank! 😊

Good cocktails, great vibe with Spanish staff. Food was a bit mixed. The seafood wasn’t great, Gambias al ajillo was a bit bland and the calamari was tough. I realise we are a long way from the sea. Rest of the food was good.
