A bit too big, but food very tasty

Normal food, disappointing service due to the feeling we had, that is, of little tolerance towards those who are not German and do not know the German language. I actually understand it a little and I understood the words with which the German waitress asked her colleague to come to our table to take the order. Informal environment, pleasant overall

The ambience is only partially convincing; it is very large and very loud. The service seemed overwhelmed at times and we were missing a dish. The tapas were okay to good, but nothing exceptional. The price is rather high depending on the location. The evening was okay, but not a highlight. In comparison, there are significantly better tapas shops in Dresden.

I ate the best tapas here. Desserts are also wonderful. Recommended. Reservations are recommended on Friday and Saturday during peak times from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It's worth it.

Cozy atmosphere, extensive range of dishes

It's a delicious restaurant. I had the lunch special, and the Brussels sprouts are called Brussels sprouts in Korean. But there's only one employee, so the service can be a little slow.

Quite big, good ambience, good Spanish music. Unfortunately, the service leaves something to be desired. Food was good, but I've had better Spanish food. Of course it's a matter of opinion. But the fact that I had to “hold on” to a small glass for what felt like forever until a service employee came was unpleasant.

Overall I would definitely say it was good, because they make an effort and they have a good menu. The waiters were super friendly and efficient. Always making you feel comfortable. The food was ok, I wouldn't say absolutely amazing but good quality. The pimientos die padron didn't have any goats cheese or other cheese in them so that was a bit disappointing. Patatas bravas as I know it is cooked in a tomato sauce, but it was just aioli and the mayo ketchup sauce drizzled over it. I enjoyed my hugo and the goats cheese with the hazelnuts spread over it.

We decided to go here for dinner on a Saturday. Despite the full house, we got a great table. Food and drinks were top notch. There was nothing to complain about.

At Tappas Barcelona you can enjoy delicious Spanish specialties. There is nothing wrong with the quality. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is sometimes not that good when you pay up to 2 euros per piece for certain tapas. The atmosphere is generally cozy, but unfortunately always very loud due to the acoustics of the room. All in all, you can spend a nice evening with delicious food at Tapas Barcelona. With 3 tapas and 2 drinks the price ends up being around 35 euros. I can recommend the nachos with cheese dip and the breaded chicken with curry dip.

We were actually disappointed. The food was OK and sometimes good. But we know Las Tapas in Dresden and in comparison the quality here really didn't convince us at all. Contrary to the description on the menu, the pork in cheese sauce was not fried pink (as can be seen in one photo), but was dry throughout and in terms of consistency. The cheese sauce just tasted like parmesan. The Gallician style octopus was not tender but had the typical consistency. On the other hand, the grilled octopus from Las Tapas, for example, is an incredible dish with great oil, crispy potatoes and a great texture. The potatoes under the octopus in Tapas Barcelona, ​​on the other hand, were in unseasoned oil and were already soggy when the food came. The briefly seared beef was also done and no longer pink, it was also dry and looked like it had been sitting around for a while. The lamb with guacamole was fried pink and good. However, the guacamole tasted a bit like a Mexican spice mix. The anchovies were OK. The baby calamari was ok. A highlight were the croquettes with Serrano and cheese but unfortunately they were the only highlight. In addition, the price is pretty decent, but you don't think back positively about the food afterwards. No joke, if you want an excellent meal and not just an okay one, just go to Las Tapas on Münzgasse.

The opening hours say from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. I went twice. The first one at 2pm and they told me that they had already closed although there were people eating inside, fine. I assumed that maybe they took a break in the middle of the afternoon and that after those people finished they would close until the evening. The second time I went was at night, at 9pm, and they told me that the kitchen had already closed. But be careful! Because not only were there people eating inside but there were also customers smoking outside. If it was closed, the truth is that they hid it very well. It seems that they also do very well billing because they don't want new clients. So I don't plan to go again. I recommend going to all those who find a moment of opening in their strange schedules and do not be surprised that it has already closed even though there are people eating inside. We had dinner here last night. It wasn't really full, but it was still very loud in the restaurant. I added a photo of the nachos we were served. When I took the photo we had already eaten a few of the nachos. But charging €6.9 for some nacho curds and cheese sauce is pretty cheeky in my opinion. The nachos were one of my normal tapas, but were served 45-50 minutes before the rest of the food, which didn't come at the same time. The lemonades are also way too sweet, but according to my companion the wine was good. Overall, this wasn't a really good experience. The portions are too small for the price. We were recommended 3 tapas per portion. When we finished it, we were both still hungry, but didn't feel like waiting another hour for more food. We then went to the Striezelmarkt next door and got a decent portion for a fraction of the money. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The lamb is absolutely recommended, especially if your girlfriend pays for it. ^^

If you go there for the first time, you should read the menu completely. But it's worth it because the individual tapas and especially the fresh bread are incredibly tasty. However, you should book a table in advance otherwise you won't get a seat. It's worth checking out.

Overall ok... Garlic bread soaked in oil, prawns not deveined, quiche consistency too mushy for me personally. I also had bacon-wrapped dates, which were perfectly fine and tasty! Aioli very tasty! I had given it 3 stars until I received information from Google today that the owner of the restaurant was taking legal action against the rating. Maybe you should invest more time in quality control. Than trying to remove bad review via Google.

I ordered various tapas today. Marinated anchovies. Yummy. Fried anchovies, partly chewy. Serrano ham, hard, not good quality. Overall, I can't recommend the restaurant. Price-performance ratio is not right. I'm from North Rhine-Westphalia and know better Spanish restaurants. The sangria simply lacks the hit of alcohol. I won't be returning there again.

Because of the good reviews, we chose Tapas Barcelona for our visit to Dresden. Basically everything was fine, but I have to make some compromises. First of all, the ambience and service: everything was top! We sat very nicely in a booth near the bar and the service fulfilled our wishes in a timely manner. When it came to drinks, the women praised the cocktail they chose in terms of price and taste. The selection of tapas (which is why we ultimately came) was very varied, but the portion size was disproportionate in relation to the price. The taste of the food was okay, but unfortunately there were no great culinary delights. Admittedly, our expectations were very high after spending two unforgettable evenings in a tapas bar. The first time in Seville (Spain) and the second time in Sintra (Portugal). When it comes to price-performance, the Tapas Barcelona was worlds apart. My wife's potato omelet was burnt on the bottom, so of course it can't leave the kitchen like that. Even my meat, which I was really looking forward to, was just too dry. Unfortunately, the Tapas Barcelona couldn't satisfy us when it came to eating, even though the restaurant actually has everything else you need for a nice stay. Too bad!

Quite disappointed with chicken wings,. Description said "crispy", but they were clearly sitting around for awhile and were just tough and dry. Not crispy in the slightest. Serrano was not Serrano like we had in Barcelona. What I could recommend is Pamientos de Padrón if you go there.

So we had lunch in the restaurant today. The waitress service was very poor. No please, thank you or bon appetit or anything like that. In addition, it smelled considerably of cigarette smoke. Nevertheless, we tipped out of politeness. Even then there was no “thank you”. The food was 3/5. I have to be honest, I don't need to go to a restaurant for the entire experience. System catering with zero love for food. Never again. I have to be honest and say that my expectations were low, but unfortunately they were still disappointed.

We went to eat there, they charged us €50 for three wings, two meatballs, a salad, some bravas and two very bad croquettes. If you are Spanish, don't even think about stopping by here, they would have to be ashamed to put such rubbish and call it Spanish tapas las bravas with a pink sauce. shameful, the burnt ham croquettes, the overheated and sour black wings from having so many overheated ones, the only Spanish thing, the services sign that was in Spanish I don't know how they aren't ashamed to give such garbage to the Germans, as you think that's what we Spaniards eat, my goodness, gentlemen of the place, change the cook or close the business and put a bar to serve beers, which is the only decent thing they serve. The food was okay. We got this, but the cutlery was forgotten, which we then fetched from the neighboring table. No one asked if I wanted another drink, I sat there with an empty glass for almost 30 minutes. Ballermann music was played as background music, which we all found very inappropriate. Finally, a look into the kitchen, we shouldn't have done that. There were towels on the floor, things that had fallen down, etc. For us there was no alternative to Café Madrid in Leipzig or to the Spanier on Königstrasse in Dresden.

The three of us were there for lunch during the week. There was also a lunch menu with cheaper prices (including 3 tapas for the price of 2). After we had looked for a place in the very cozy atmosphere, we were served quite quickly. The really negative point at the start was that one of us was given the wrong drinks. The rest of the service worked quite well. There were five thick slices of delicious baguette for our table, which we almost didn't finish. The tapas themselves were of the usual size, so you could easily manage three tapas. To take advantage of the lunch offer, you can also calculate with 9 for the price of 6. But we also had a "normal main course" from the lunch menu, which was also quite lavish (plentiful and very well-dressed salad with pine nuts and dressing, a very properly prepared burger, French fries). Conclusion: You can do it again. If you can take advantage of the lunch prices during the week, it's actually quite cheap by Dresden standards.

Running all over place, when we asked for english menu, she sigh loudly with desaprobation, ok why not:) Then we were approached by, i think, floor manager who asked us to move to another table as this one is booked from 19.00 ( it was 17.30:) or stay and finish before 19.00, nice... btw no signs for booking on the table:) We choose 7 tapas which were fantastic btw. Beer was great, martini espresso very good. We had appetite for another drink bo no one approach us anymore and Nancy run away from Us all the time. Actually We felt really unwanted...

We were able to spend a wonderful evening here. The service was friendly and nice. The food was delicious and we were super happy. We paid 330 euros with 7 eaters. The evening here is not cheap but it is an experience. Just come over. Ambiance received a point deduction because it was quite loud. It only became quieter late in the evening. We gave the service a deduction. We had ordered. First the cold tapas plates came and then nothing for a long time. Then suddenly nachos with sauce arrived. And then we had to wait again for over 15 minutes and all the warm tapas came. We would have liked to have been given a hint that the warm tapas would come later. We shared everything at the table and didn't know what would happen next and sat in front of our empty plates. Just a little explanation would have been helpful. My wife and I were seated at a table in the main part of the restaurant. Two minutes later, we were asked to move to the back portion of the restaurant as we were told the table we were at had a reservation. The back area was pretty empty and had no vibe. Also, no server showed up at our table for the next 10 minutes, at which time we left.
