Las Tapas in Dresden

Las Tapas isn't exactly around the corner from us 🫣 but on our third trip to Dresden, we booked well in advance so we could eat there again. Excellent food, super friendly and attentive staff.

Glass of tapwater was charged for 4,30€. Thats pure eagerness, spoiled whole experience.

We always stop here when we visit Dresden. The food was excellent again, especially the braised beef cheeks, which we highly recommend. The staff is friendly. We'll gladly come back.

Our server was very friendly and took the time for a little chat. She was also happy to give us recommendations. According to her, the prawns in oil are the absolute best, but unfortunately, we don't like prawns at all. The table for two was rather small for tapas, and we were seated in the far corner, despite having made a reservation. At least we didn't have to sit at the bar. Some of the food was very good, while some of it was quite bland; the Iberico pork was a bit tough in places. The meatballs in tomato sauce and the pork tenderloin in sherry sauce, however, were delicious. All in all, we would recommend this restaurant. Many thanks to Lenka for the excellent service.

We were in Dresden over the weekend and decided to eat here, and it was the perfect choice! Great food, amazing service, the food arrived so quickly – simply top-notch! We'll be back.

After 2 years living in Germany, in this restaurant they made me feel like at home. Not only because of the food, for the service too, I went twice in 4 days. Special mention for the blonde woman, she was rly kind and spoke really nice Spanish. All my best wishes for her and the rest of the team 🤗

Simple creations, but overall satisfactory.

Very friendly service and delicious tapas. The variety is fantastic; there's something for everyone. I especially recommend the grilled octopus. It's also a very dog-friendly restaurant; they immediately brought a bowl of water (which was lovely on that hot summer day) ☺️ We'll definitely be back!

We've eaten a lot of tapas in Dresden...🤤 Unfortunately, we didn't find it particularly good here. The food and service were just okay. We didn't like the atmosphere; it was too loud and lacked any Spanish flair... Disappointing for us...

During our short trip, we visited three times. Great staff, great food. A dream for smokers with a heated outdoor terrace.

Great atmosphere, good service, and delicious food. The only downside is that you can only reserve a table for a maximum of two hours.

The four of us ate at Las Tapas, and as always, the food was delicious, and we had a lovely evening. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive and always in good spirits. I'm deducting one star for item number 134 (the Serrano ham and cheese platter). The quality was excellent, but for the relatively large platter, it was a very meager collection of five small pieces of cheese and five slices of ham, accompanied by a bowl of olives. The price should definitely be reconsidered. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

I highly recommend the Catholic fish stew! Absolutely delicious and available at the counter without time restrictions, but reservations are essential for the weekend!

Las Tapas in Dresden is a real insider tip. At the beginning of November, we were able to sit outside under patio heaters. The service, especially Mateo, is excellent, and the food, particularly the spinach dumplings, is divine.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent food – every dish was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor! The incredibly friendly service deserves special mention, even late at night and despite the large crowd. You can tell they put their heart into what they do. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

This was our first time here today. We had tried to make a reservation by phone this morning, but unfortunately, all the tables inside were booked. However, we were told we could still come by; there were tables available outside, but without a reservation. So we did. It was very busy, but the staff immediately took excellent care of us and we were able to sit at the bar while we waited. There, we were offered drinks. When a table became available (quite quickly), we were able to sit outside. All the tables outside were heated, making it really cozy. Despite the large number of people, the staff were in great spirits and incredibly friendly. The food arrived quite promptly. It was delicious, and the portions were generous. They frequently checked on us to make sure everything was alright and if we needed anything else. For dessert, we had an espresso and a crema catalana (absolutely delicious). Many thanks to Lenka for the wonderful evening, thank you to the very kind gentleman who took such good care of us until we could be seated, and a heartfelt thank you to the entire team. I was at Las Tapas today, and the three of us sat down at a table that had just become available. The waiter then very unpleasantly informed us that it was very rude to sit down too early if the waiter hadn't wiped the table yet. The guests in front of us left two empty glasses. I call that rude.

It was a great meal with delicious toppings. Very friendly staff and very child-friendly. We'd love to come back.

We're on a city trip to Dresden. We were there for the first time on Monday and had a lovely outdoor seating area. All the tapas were excellent, as was the ambiance and, above all, the service. Excellent value for money. We enjoyed it so much that we had another fantastic meal there on Tuesday and Thursday. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

I'm Spanish, and the truth is, the food isn't 100% ours. But it's delicious, and for being outside of Spain, it's a 10. Clean and tidy, many bars in Spain would love to be like this. And on top of that, the decor is perfect, just like in the typical Bodeguita. I loved it.

I’ve eaten here so many times I have my list of favorite tapas, definitely the best in Dresden and I’ve tried them all.

A friend recommended this restaurant (for years). I always thought it was a different Spanish restaurant 😉 Great service, good food, and the vermouth. Delicious. We were lucky and were able to sit outside. The weather cooperated. The speaker is a bit too loud for me. If you're two people, you sit right underneath it. It's very nicely decorated inside. The Spanish Tapas has never fail to impress us. The reservation via Google was a breeze, the confirmation gave us assurance that we would have an indoor on a Saturday evening peak hours. Service was fast and staff were polite & attentive. I really love the ambience, cozy and filled with Spanish ambience though it was in Deutschland. We ordered the Fried Octopus, Fried Calamari & Seafood Paella for two pax sharing. I gave the Fried Octopus in Olive oil a 5 star rating, soft & tastily presented on the potatoes slice. Love it ! While for the Tapas fried calamari, somehow the batter that supposedly coating the squid ring did not work out as expected… luckily the garlic tartare dip save the day. The highlight was the Seafood Paella…presentation, fragrance & taste score with flying color. Overall satisfied with Las Tapas & will come again!

After being seated, I waited for more than five minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff. I understand it can get busy, but even a quick glance or a gesture would have been appreciated to show that someone would be with me shortly. Eventually, I said “Excuse me” to get attention, and that’s when a waiter(who has blonde hair and beards), instead of responding courteously, ignored me. He went inside, and returned a moment later with menus. What shocked me was his attitude. He handed me the menu with a visibly irritated facial expression and said, “Don’t scream. I can see you came in.” I found this completely impolite and inappropriate, especially for someone working in restaurants. Although I understand he may have been stressed, expressing frustration so openly to a guest is unprofessional.

Despite the crowds, we were served quickly. Good and attentive service with excellent food. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Out of 6 days in Dresden, 4 days were spent at Las Tapas. That speaks for itself, I think. Sangria, chorizo, and patatas bravas were amazing – just like in Spain. I'd go back anytime! 🇪🇦

Delicious tapas variety in Dresden's old town!

Excellent Spanish cuisine and very friendly, attentive staff. We always feel very comfortable here. The vanilla ice cream with olive oil and fried rosemary is particularly delicious.

It's clear to everyone that prices in the restaurant industry have gone up. But what I experienced here shocked me. I ordered Queso James, Spanish salami, ham, and cheese; if all of these items weighed 100g together, then that was a lot. Sliced ​​so thinly, it's an outrage. Everything was so see-through except for the cheese. That meant the flavor was lost. I've never experienced anything like it for €16.90, even though I've worked in the restaurant industry for 40 years and have visited other Las Tabas. I can't pass judgment on the other dishes. I can't understand how anyone can offer that to a guest, especially since I've been to this bar many times and have been satisfied. In my opinion, that's outrageous.

Reservations are only possible inside, even though reservation signs are posted on the tables outside. When we asked, we were told rather rudely that we should sit at the bar for half an hour, have a cocktail, and wait until a table became available outside, then the table would be reserved right away. When my husband declined, saying "sure not," I was snippily replied, "Your husband isn't in the mood!"
