Delicious food, fresh everything and beautifully presented. Very good, nice and helpful service, atmospheric place, with appropriate atmosphere and music in the background. I would definitely like to come back here.

I was in Berlin once because I'm from Hesse, but I definitely won't recommend this restaurant. Please save your time and money somewhere else. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with our visit on New Year's Eve 2024. We had reserved a table for about 6-7 people, but when we arrived we were not well received and didn't know where our table was. I had to go to the waiter myself and ask. We had to wait over an hour for our food, even though there were hardly any visitors to the restaurant. Some of us had ordered karahi - a dish that is usually served with naan bread. Unfortunately no bread was brought with it. Even after we asked again for two naan breads, they still didn't come. In addition, the food was mostly cold, tasted original and expensive 👎

The three of us ate there today and ordered kebab skewers. Unfortunately the meat was served completely cold. The rice was also cold. Very annoying. That's why I wouldn't go there again and don't recommend the restaurant. It doesn't work like that!!!!😡

Fraud! I ordered a meat main course via Uber for €18(!) and only 2 small pieces of meat were delivered, which was enough for 2 bites. I called the restaurant and asked if this was normal. The man on the phone tried to brush me off and eventually hung up. When I tried to call again I was pushed away.

An absolutely recommended restaurant! At first glance everything seems a bit inconspicuous and the furnishings are thrown together - the map also seems a bit confusing at first. But you shouldn't let that fool you! We have tried all the dishes on the lunch menu over the last few weeks and are absolutely thrilled. Here you will truly be treated like royalty. Price/performance 10/10.

The dominant turmeric flavor, along with the questionable freshness, made the dish inedible. I also felt nauseous and could only eat a few bites before I stopped. The food service was slow, really slow. The food tastes ok, but when I was there there was a repulsive frying oil smell in the air which made it hard to sit inside, so I had to stay by the door until my food got ready. The staff were friendly

Restaurant Bahar is an Iranian and Afghan restaurant in Berlin and is one of my better experiences with Persian restaurants in the city. The menu offers a wide variety of Iranian and Afghan dishes, and the ambience is pleasantly calm. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered two main courses and a starter. Surprisingly, the portion of the starter was very generous, which was a positive thing. The prices are fair compared to other Iranian restaurants in Berlin, and card payments are also possible here. The kebab barg could have been marinated a little better, but the quality was good overall. It was probably the best dish we ordered. **In my opinion, however, there is still room for improvement in the service.** The quality of service could be significantly improved by having the staff check in with guests more often during the meal to ask if everything is OK or if something is missing. That would be a nice gesture. In addition, the preparation time of the food could be a little faster. Overall, a recommended restaurant for lovers of Persian and Afghan cuisine.

I've already ordered food there twice since it was my first time. Unfortunately, I have to be honest, the rice wasn't fully cooked yet so it had to be cooked longer, and the meat skewers weren't grilled properly either and had to be grilled even longer. Salad was fresh and tasty Yoghurt dip was also tasty. I hope they can do even better.

Very tasty food and great service

3 stars because of the taste of the rice. It was like chewing plastic. I liked the kebab, the taste of the meat was not bad. Plus to the establishment, if you have time before the evening, you can take Tagesmenü for 10 euros. For the money it's worth it, without it it's not at all.

I ordered both in person multiple times and online through their website and Wolt. In person things were fine. Ordering online through their website does NOT work. Nothing will be sent and they don’t bother to even call you to tell you. You have to call them😕 Today I ordered from Wolt and after waiting over an hour, they cancelled the order! I will not be ordering in person or online from this business again when this is the way they choose to treat their customers.

Horrible cold and fat food. Very unfriendly owner of the restaurant who cheated me with my friend when we ordered a business lunch but he gave us something different and at menu price. No wonder why the restaurant was almost empty.

We ordered Kubideh and Djuje through Wolt. One of the highest qualities in Berlin with generous sides: salad, yoghourt, and torshi! We will order again definitely.

I personally like Bahar Restaurant more than any other Iranian restaurants in Berlin. Simply because of the food quality and the price. Sometimes the food tastes weird but overall I think the service and the food (Koubideh) is great! The only complaint I have is that sometimes the staff come up with random excuses to refuse card payments, which I found super weird.

We were promised to have a part of Resturant reserved but after that came many people in the same place, we were completely disappointed. The service was not satisfactory. The food was delicious.

The service was horrible. We had an organized event there. They promised us several services with providing us a nice environment, but they didn’t keep their promises. The atmosphere wasn’t pleasant as there wasn’t enough air in the room. I won’t recommend this place for events and parties as they have very dishonest and poor management.

Feels like home. My favorite spot in Berlin. The staff is very friendly, the food tastes as if grandma cooked it, the price is reasonable.

Yummy foods, portion of rice and khoresht didn't fit together.

That was a very unfortunate events. The food was just awful, we had kubideh and adas polo and both were so bad. I could not finish my food (kubideh) did not taste or smell anything like it was supposed to. Adas polo was also not good. Who ads carrots in adas polo??? The lemon had the sticker on it (picture) which means they did not wash it or not wash it properly. They serve the food in an aluminum tray which is extremely toxic and not good for this purpose. The service was good, the girl who surved our food was very nice and friendly.

I was excited to try out the food at Bahar Restaurant since I had heard good things, but unfortunately my experience fell short. The Qabuli and Narenji polo tasted pretty good, but my excitement quickly turned to disgust when I found a long strand of hair in my rice and then a fly in the Narenji polo. When I politely alerted the staff, they offered to replace the food, but were dismissive about the fly, blaming it on the window beside my table. However, when I looked over there were literally dozens of flies. It was just dirty. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was just an off day, because the food tasted great. But the staff's apathetic attitude about the unsanitary conditions didn't sit well with me. For a restaurant, cleanliness should be baseline. It's a real shame because the food seems tasty. But with the dirty table, hair and flies... If they fix those issues then Bahar could be a solid option.

Meine afghanische Freundin hat mir dieses Restaurant empfohlen . Wir hatten gleich ein Tee bekommen, fanden wir es ganz nett . Das Essen schmeckt super . Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder dort hin.

Leider waren noch Flecken auf dem Tischtuch, Speisen sehr lecker leider nur lauwarm, obwohl bei mir die fritierten Kartoffeln fehlten , geben wir den Restaurant noch einmal eine Chance und werden Speisen vom Grill bestellen...

Von außen unscheinbar ist dieses afghanisch & persische Restaurant einen Besuch wert. Das Ambiente und der Service lädt zwar nicht ein, jedoch ist das Essen super lecker gewesen. Wir hatten Kubideh, Hähnchenspieße und 2 Mal die Lammhaxe. Leider waren Mantu ausverkauft, diese wollten wir vorab essen. Das Hähnchenspieß war uns etwas zu trocken aber gut mariniert. Das selbe war ebenfalls beim Kubideh, da hat uns die saftigkeit gefehlt wie wir sie sonst aus anderen Läden kennen. Aber die Lammhaxe war echt schön zart und lecker! Vor allem der afghanische Reis mit den Rosinen👍 Von außen lädt der Laden gar nicht ein und wäre daher ein guter Tipp für die Restaurantleitung Mal außen etwas mehr zu investieren. Das würde einiges ausmachen. Die Terrasse ist bei schönem Wetter hilfreich, jedoch leider direkt an der Hauptstraße. Die Tischdecken sind wunderschön und das Ambiente jedoch allgemein etwas zu unkreativ. Da geht sicher noch einiges 👍 Die Dame beim Service war bemüht und nett, jedoch noch unerfahren und schüchtern. Uns hat es dennoch gefallen und wir kommen wieder!

We hebben hier heerlijk op het terras gegeten. Het eten was heerlijk en vers. De service is goed en iedereen is er erg vriendelijk.

Persian restaurant, try Chelo koobideh

During my vacation to Berlin, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming Persian/Afgani restaurant that left a lasting impression. As a Persian visitor from the US, I was thrilled to find the food to be both amazing and authentic, yet surprisingly affordable. The ghormeh sabzi, the khoobedi, and the Jujeh kabab were all delicious and reminded me of the flavors from back home. The waitress, though nameless in my memory, was delightful and provided excellent service. The family-owned atmosphere added a warm touch, and I ended up dining there three times during my stay. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a taste of genuine Persian/Afgani cuisine.

Gewoon een leuk klein restaurantje. Het eten is Heerlijk en heeft prijs/kwaliteit! In de zomer kan je op een terrasje zitten. Echt een aanrader.

Uns hat das Essen geschmacklich überwältigt. Unglaublich zartes Lammfleisch in super fein zubereiteten Schmorgerichten. Wir hatten Gormeh Sabzi, Khoreshte Fesenjuun, Khoreshte Bamieh, Adas Polo und Aschak zudem einen gemischten Vorspeisenteller und sowieso alles miteinander geteilt. Das alles war zu viert ein bisschen viel aber mit großem Hunger geht das schon. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Restaurant schön eingerichtet. Die Lage an der Straße ist ein bisschen ungünstig weil laut aber die alles in allem merken wir uns das Restaurant als gute Option für gutes afghanisches - persisches Essen in Berlin.

An nem Mittwochabend um 22:30 bestellt. Wie man dem einen stern entnehmen kann versuche ich dadurch lediglich Tatsachen zu schildern und nichts der folgenden Kritik zu rechtfertigen. Ein gericht mit gemüse in einer Tomatensauce, sowie die auberginenpaste mit knoblauch und joghurt schmecken nicht nur schlecht, sondern sind schlecht. Uns wurden Lebensmittel verkauft die nicht mehr genießbar sind und negative gesundheitliche Folgen mit sich bringen können, falls man das nicht bemerkt (sollte jeder mensch schmecken). Seit 25 jahren liebe ich die persische Küche und behaupte von mir selber, dass ich einschätzen kann ob das neue geschmäcker oder zubereitungsarten sind, oder einfach nur abgelaufene Lebensmittel waren.

Dieser Ort ist ein absolutes Juwel! Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und immer bereit, etwas zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Mein Lammgericht war sehr zart und lecker, der Reis perfekt zubereitet. Und die Dessertabteilung ist zum Sterben schön :) Ich kann dieses Lokal nur empfehlen. This place is absolute gem! Silvester Essen versaut! Über eine Stunde gewartet. Sehr sehr sehr enttäuschend leider! Als wir ankamen wurden wir quasi für locker 15 min ignoriert und dann gab es erst die Karten. Als wir unsere Gerichte ausgewählt haben, hieß es dann, dass es diese nicht gebe und wir was anderes auswählen sollen. An Silvester sollte es einem Restaurant möglich sein, sich vorzubereiten. Wir hatten ja Tage davor reserviert. Danach wollten wir etwas Vorspeise ( Brot und Soßen zum Dippen, quasi wie man es beim Inder kennt), weil wir schon mit Wartezeit rechneten. Doch wir bekamen keine Vorspeise und warteten dann einfach auf unser Essen, welches erst nach 1 stunde und 20 min ankam!! Ich bin Immer noch schockiert.. Und das Essen war auch leider ein Reinfall.. Der Lachs war viel zu trocken und nur mit einer scharfen Soße serviert worden. Nicht einmal Messer wurden verteilt zu den Speisen. Es war nur ein Kellner anwesend und gefühlt jeder der nach uns kam, musste genau so lange warten. Sehr sehr schade, denn das wird leider das erste und letzte mal sein, dass wir da waren! Absolut nicht zu empfehlen und höchst unprofessionell!

Aufgrund einer Geburtstagsfeier waren wir hier essen. Als wir ankamen, war alles sehr schön dekoriert und das Essen war sehr lecker. Außerdem war der Kellner sehr freundlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat gestimmt.Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant jedem!

Authentische afghanische Küche, die Mantus (Teigtaschen) sind sehr lecker, auch die Lammspiesse. Burger oder Pizza gibt es hier NICHT wie die Fotos suggerieren. Das war wohl der Vorgänger.

Vor paar Tagen war ich dort, ich musste 20 Minuten auf mein essen warten. Kein Wunder, dass das Restaurant fast leer war. Da war ein Männliche personal und könnte nicht so gut Deutsch man könnte sich nicht verständigen.

Ich und meine Freundin waren vor paar Tagen dort essen und Mussten feststellen, das mehrere Kunden schlecht behandelt wurden von der Übergewichtiger Kellner der kein Deutsch kann er hat keine Erfahrung ,und das Essen schmeckt nach nichts . Allerdings war das Besteck sehr unsauber. nie wieder gehe ich dort hin und empfehle es auch keinen anderen. ;)

Ate there today. Absolutely delicious! The fried aubergine with small pieces of roasted garlic and some walnuts was especially good. Highly recommend.

The food is excellent! Rarely do you find a place these days where people cook so carefully elaborated dishes. The aubergine dishes are delicious, so are the dumplings. You wouldn't guess it from the signs nor the decor, but it's so worth it if you like to eat well.
