We celebrated a friend's birthday. And this place was just right! Nice atmosphere! Good service! The food is really delicious! The place is really top class! There were a lot of people. But it was a nice atmosphere! And we left very satisfied! Therefore, this place can be recommended! We will come back! Thank you

Not up to par. When you see the restaurant and the quality of the facilities, you expect the meal to reflect the reception and welcome. But that's absolutely not the case. I came to this restaurant with a friend more than six months ago, and I still find it a real disappointment. The service is simply disastrous. We were given dishes that weren't ours. But that's not all: the main course was served as an appetizer, while the "mini tacos," available for between €5 and €8 each, were mere finger foods, even though the waiter described them as being about 10 cm. Finally, to end the meal—or rather, the melody—on a sour note, the person who took our payment didn't point out that we had to enter a four-digit code indicating the tip amount first, not our credit card number. This almost cost us quite a bit; luckily, we were vigilant. Bonus: They remove bad Google reviews if the steps to prove your visit are not complete.

Another wonderful evening. Top location, superb service, fantastic food. One of the best places in City West. Anyone who complains here should simply choose a different restaurant.

The Halloween party was a complete disappointment for the price of €43. Aside from the decorations and a few dancers, there were no special extras. The dance floors were way too crowded. I don't know where they dug up those DJs, but the music was really bad. There were no smooth transitions, and the music selection was inconsistent. Food and an extra show were only available for an additional fee, but it didn't look worth it. We waited three-quarters of an hour to get a drink at the bar. In short: The Instagram marketing was better than the actual party.

We were really looking forward to the Halloween party at Grace, but unfortunately, the evening turned into a complete disaster. The venue was nicely decorated, but completely overcrowded. Clearly, far too many tickets had been sold for the available space. There were two DJs and, consequently, two small "dance floors," both of which were so cramped that you could barely move—let alone walk normally without constantly bumping into other guests. The music was mediocre, but we didn't want to let that ruin our evening and stayed anyway until something happened that truly shocked us. During the evening, I wanted to sit down for a bit, as I, being diabetic, needed a short break after all the dancing and standing in high heels. I was there with a group of friends; one sat down next to me, and the other two stood beside us. On the table where we sat, there were open bottles of vodka and other drinks that apparently belonged to someone else. We didn't touch them but simply chatted amongst ourselves. Suddenly, a waiter dressed as a mummy appeared behind me, extremely arrogant and with the attitude of someone who owned the place. He initially spoke to two of my friends; I didn't immediately understand what was going on. Then, a moment later, he returned with a card reader and demanded we pay €60 for two vodka shots, which he claimed had been added to one of our other drinks! We were completely taken aback and initially thought it was a bad joke, but he was dead serious. We explained several times that we hadn't ordered anything from the table and had only sat down briefly. Just a few minutes earlier, we had even bought our own drinks at the bar! Despite this, the waiter became increasingly pushy and aggressive, which, frankly, frightened me as a woman. After a long and unpleasant discussion, we finally decided to pay the amount simply to avoid further escalation. The waiter then disappeared immediately, presumably to find his next victim to scam. ... We then went to the doorman, explained the situation, and asked where we could file a complaint. He was completely understanding and even said himself that such behavior was unacceptable. He directed us to reception, where we recounted the story again. However, the woman there reacted with utter indifference and simply said: "Well, why did you pay? You weren't forced to." I don't think I need to say anything more about that statement 😐 In hindsight, I deeply regret that we paid at all. There are certainly security camera recordings that would prove we didn't drink anything. And if the waiter had truly been convinced, he could have called security. In conclusion: We were looking forward to the evening, especially since we had heard many good things about the party last year. But this time, we were completely disappointed. This disrespectful and brazen act has cost Grace an entire group of guests. I absolutely cannot recommend the evening or the staff's behavior. To the management: Please select your service staff more carefully and avoid such "macho" waiters who think they own the place and are allowed to rip off guests.

Fantastic food, great location and service. Loved the atmosphere.

A pleasant, generally quiet restaurant with very good food, priced on the higher end due to its location on the Ku'damm. One inconvenience was the requirement of two permanent dining slots, which was probably due to the Saturday evening but ultimately wasn't activated. From around 9:00 p.m., the crowd shifted to younger partygoers, and the music became correspondingly louder and more contemporary in style, which became unpleasant for me, so I left the restaurant (hence a point deduction for the ambiance). The price-quality ratio was satisfactory.

We weren't served! After waiting 30 minutes, we left. Truly embarrassing when you have guests with you!

I never wanted to come back because I had an extremely traumatic incident in this shop, but thanks to Pablo (who was going to be crowned employee of the year) I changed my mind - thank you Pablo for being there

Spectacular, incredible service. I have stayed at the hotel more than 10 times and always at the restaurant, breakfast, very pleasant treatment from the girls.

Unfortunately, you encounter a rather timid sorter. He seems a bit insecure and not really up to the job. Because you should always demonstrate politeness and humility at the entrance. It's just a door you're "guarding." Maybe a reality show?

An upscale spot on U-Bahn Ku'damm, well hidden in the foyer of a hotel. Nothing here is cheap, but everything tastes absolutely delicious. If you're stuck for cash, the always friendly waiters will definitely come up with something for you. We had a lovely evening here. The rooftop entrance fee was €20 per person, oh lord, we skipped that, although we would have loved to have known what magic would be waiting for us up there. So, Grace is definitely worth recommending, even if it does attract a specific clientele. With enough spending money, you'll also get a sophisticated experience.

The Hotel Zoo Berlin has a somewhat hidden rooftop bar, not visible from Kurfürstendamm. It's called Grace, like the restaurant and bar on the ground floor. The rooftop bar can be reached via the elevator in the hotel lobby.

Never again! The lady who was at the door downstairs today (5.7) didn't want to let us in and politely told us to have a drink downstairs, as they were full upstairs, or pay 50 euros per person. This isn't a fancy place.

The waiter/server Chris is absolutely world-class. Friendly and empathetic at the same time. The food is top-notch. Our visitors from Munich were blown away. Please keep up the good work. We'll be back.

As a long-time regular guest, I was suddenly and without any clear justification denied entry to [location, e.g., “Grace Bar Berlin”]. The claims made to justify this decision are demonstrably false. I see clear indications of personal motives – possibly resentment, antipathy, or intentional malice. I have also received information suggesting that other individuals have been excluded in a similarly arbitrary and non-transparent manner. I am currently considering legal action – both in response to defamatory falsehoods and with regard to potential violations of the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). Should the suspicion of a systematic or discriminatory exclusion policy be confirmed, I will pursue the matter both publicly and through legal channels. This raises a public question: Are individuals being systematically excluded based on personal bias or other unexplained criteria?

Unfortunately, I find the service has gotten worse over the years. The food and location are worth seeing, but the place desperately needs to improve its attitude (despite regular visits!). Therefore, the price/performance ratio is tipping towards one star.

Amazing wagyu with truffle. Best one which we ever tried in our life. And pasta with lobster was super tasty. Would come back to this restaurant just for wagyu and amazing service.

The breakfast is exquisite! The selection is extensive and very varied. The service is super attentive and very, very friendly! Isa is just lovely and very professional. She personally takes care of every detail. The ambience is inviting, elegant, modern. All I can say is that I'm always happy to come back and highly recommend!

Stay way! We had a deeply disappointing experience at GRACE. We were told only the set menu was available, but no prices or clear information were given. Food kept coming without explanation, and we eventually had to stop the service ourselves. The bill came to €120, and the waiter claimed he thought we were influencers—an excuse that felt both strange and insulting. We left feeling deceived and embarrassed. For a restaurant of this caliber, the lack of transparency and professionalism was shocking.

During our visit, we were particularly impressed by the service provided by waiter, Yasar. His attentive and friendly service ensured we felt well taken care of throughout the evening. The combination of exquisite food and hospitality made our dining experience truly memorable.

Clear disrespect and rudeness to long-time, loyal customers. Unacceptable discrimination to women, unsupported arguments and offensive insinuations. Lack of coordination of the opinions of their own employees, confirming the high position of customers. Manager Scotty unable to assess the situation and make the correct decision, despite lengthy discussions, positively backed by their own employees; contradictory behaviour from the manager - despite his apology for poor assessment of the situation, no change in decision to let guests in.

A perfect evening in a perfect ambience. A new level of culinary delights is reached here. Absolute recommendation!!!

I was absolutely fascinated by GRACE Restaurant! The location is simply awesome, stylish, elegant and with a unique atmosphere that immediately captivates you. The service was first class: attentive, friendly and professional. Every moment was a delight, from the first greeting to the last bite. Mixed feelings for this evening. Early evening aperitif at the bar, chic and quiet for a Saturday evening. Then the meal begins and there, even if the room is very beautiful, we are especially surprised by the ambient noise of the discussions mixed with a sound system that is, in my opinion, too loud for this type of restaurant. Disappointment also when we discover the proximity between the tables which are far too close together. Don't come here to propose ;-) The food is very good but not exceptional and one could expect more creativity both in the flavors and in the presentation of the dishes. Return to the bar at 11 p.m. and there the atmosphere is completely different with a party atmosphere. Tables pushed together, little space and a predominantly female clientele in chic outfits and designer bags. Bling bling but not always classy. In short, the place is meant to be chic and selective but I'm not convinced that this is where the truly rich spend their evenings. Visit at least once to make up your own mind if you have 300 euros to spend with your partner.

Very, very chic, not for “normal people” and a little over the top!

I was a guest at the hotel and wanted to have a drink at the bar with friends in the evening. I was a bit surprised about the red cord with the inlet. It was just a simple hotel bar. I thought. As soon as we entered the ultra-stylish bar, we were greeted with cool DJ lounge music. The place was packed and the visitors were extravagant. The cocktails were great and what had been planned for half an hour turned into a great party with champagne and new people until the morning. Very happy again 🤗

It's a bar and the music was so loud like a club!! We had to scream to have a conversation! The drinks weren't good either. Just mix something together according to your feeling. My drink was way too sour and my girlfriend's was way too sweet! We just left it and went to another bar where we could chat. It's a shame because it's a really nice location and I have a long history with the hotel.

Unique in Berlin! Great selection of food, perfect service and beautiful interior. The sommelier was able to recommend various special wines for our meal and we once again had a wonderful evening Grace. Strong recommendation!

Disappointing…. If the row of rooms to arrive at the restaurant is magnificent, the rest is only disappointment as soon as we are seated at our table we are told that we have two hours to dine….. 30 minutes to have the aperitifs, 1h30 left….the waiters are looking to see who owns the dishes the glasses I would pass on the advice completely absent on the menu, to finish the tables are very close to each other. If the flavors are good they are not exceptional and I would skip the quantities. In short, impossible in this place which would have everything it takes to spend a pleasant evening.

There's no place like GRACE! For me by far the number 1 in Berlin (restaurant AND bar) - there is nothing like it in the city. The service is outstanding and the food and drinks are a real treat every time!

Unfortunately the service was catastrophic. It had already been almost 45 minutes before our order was taken. At that point the place wasn't even full. The food came so late that the joy of it was already gone. Our starter was also received incorrectly. The food was okay. Afterwards we wanted to order dessert. You also have to have a lot of patience to even catch a waiter - after ordering, it took another good 30 minutes to serve a piece of cheesecake...?! For the prices you pay there, you expect a certain level of service, which in our experience the restaurant absolutely does NOT live up to. No recommendation!

Totally overrated tourist trap.

We are two well-groomed ladies and come from far away. The bouncer Mohammed is very rude and insulting. The manner is also not easy to accept. Apparently there were a lot of reservations. We were allowed to order something in the foyè and were able to see him letting in friends and others who hadn't made a reservation. He said we don't fit in with society today. But next time. We would have to accept a “NO”. Our colleagues wanted to let us in, but Mohammed remained stubborn. We cannot recommend this bar to anyone. It doesn't fit for a 5 star bar!

A stylishly furnished restaurant that impresses with sophisticated design elements. Still only 3 stars because… The food was good, but as fine dining connoisseurs the prices were a bit overestimated for this standard in our opinion. There was nothing that surprised us about the meal. The service was very friendly and accommodating. There was no wine recommendation or accompaniment to the meal. At 9 p.m. there was a shift change for the guests. As a fan of good, high-quality and sophisticated cuisine, you suddenly found yourself very out of place between scantily clad women and their companions, who were looking quite dark. We therefore decided not to have a digestif at the bar. We have therefore discarded the initial idea of ​​staying in the attached Hotel ZOO on our next visit to Berlin. You no longer felt comfortable and unfortunately the chic ambience couldn't make up for it.

wir waren 6 Personen, 4 Personen hatten die Nacht Durchfall und mußten sich übergeben. Der Arzt stellte fest es lag an den Käse - es waren von den 6 Personen 4 Ärzte darunter. Ich bin öfter bei Ihnen und habe sowas bisher noch nie erlebt. Hoffe, das nächstemal wird es nicht mehr vorkommen.

We have enjoyed coming to Grace for several years and appreciate the beautiful ambience, the excellent food and the extremely good service. I regularly go to the best fine dining restaurants in Berlin and Grace is at the top of my list!

Trotz Reservierung und Hinterlegung ein Kreditkarte wurden wir als Gäste, vermutlich wegen fehlender Coolness, abgewiesen. Warum die Bar Reservierungen anbietet bleibt rätselhaft. Wir haben das Grace von unserer Liste sowohl als Restaurant als auch als Bar gestrichen.

The food was great and definitely justified the prices quoted. Unfortunately, the service was quite overwhelmed (you had to ask several times to be allowed to order; things were brought to you that you didn't order several times, and the waiter then tried the tables in the area). The ambience and furnishings were good, but it was very loud. All in all, it was okay because the food was really outstanding.

Went to the Halloween party. Mega decoration and great staff. Drinks prices top. I/We'll be back!!!!

Wir haben 40 Minuten auf unsere Bestellung gewartet. Die Cocktails waren verdünnt und ohne reichhaltigen Geschmack wie üblich. Wir verließen das Lokal früher, als wir geplant hatten. 😕 Dieses Mal war die Erfahrung nicht ganz zufriedenstellend.

Terrible service and arrogant staff. They also use intimidation tactics through their legal team to suppress negative reviews on Google, which is the only reason why their ranking is above a 4.

One of the best restaurants in Berlin. Very attentive service, great food and a pleasant atmosphere. A place where you feel comfortable. There is a very interesting crowd here. Interesting people with a conscience and not mainstream.

Grace is anything but; its mostly frequented by pretentious posers who are as arrogant and boring as it's staff. But if you like to overpay for mediocre food and drinks while being made to feel like you're doing the staff a favour, this is definitely the place for you.
