BRLO Chicken & Beer in Berlin

The Food was very very good! A nice concept with delicious food and great beers. However given the location its very different for other brlos and a bit uncomfortable to stay and sit.

On the 6th floor, there's a beer bar with a large selection of chicken dishes. I personally enjoyed the artichoke.

The AC, the cold beer, and the friendly service made this an A+ experience! Valentin treated us, and all guests with exceptional care and attention. Weiter so!

Excellent service, and the young man who served us was very attentive. We wanted something sweet to go with our ciders, and he told us he didn't have much but that we could buy something else. He gave us cutlery without any problem. The beers and ciders were also very good, and they had an excellent selection.

Amazing dark beer with wonderful roasted chicken at Kadewe, Berlin.

I ordered from uber eats, they basically sent me two slices of bread and sauce for 13 euros. There was no chicken in it, instead of you frauds to cancel my order when you knew you were out of chicken or were about to close, you sent me two freaking slices of bread with sauce and collected my 13 euros. Bunch of thieves

Had a great experience here with a friend who was visiting Berlin. Jamie, the chef there, was super helpful and suggested trying the range of beers and various tasty bites. Was cool to relax there after checking out the various floors in KaDeWe. Will be back for sure!

The menu is very small but the rotisserie chicken is incredibly tasty and juicy. The aioli makes everything even better.

Every now and then we treat ourselves to an evening at KaDeWe. At least in the food department. We always enjoy being at the BRLO. The service is quite dependent on the workload, but that's okay. Sitting at the bar always has advantages. The service is always nice and courteous. We never really waited long. We enjoy the ambience in KaDeWe. Seeing and being seen and strolling through the aisles before and after eating is fun. The food is plentiful. The half chicken is really big, very juicy and just tastes good. The fried chicken pieces are strongly reminiscent of restaurants in Austria.

Great place. Staff is well trained, good beer, top location. Shout out to Beatriz who showed me the best beers.

Was really the definition of mediocre. Chicken was. But dry and salad flooded with sauce. The cesar salad was weird. You essentially get a normal salad and they throw a chicken leg on top. We didn’t love that

The chicken is flavorless…it was set in front of me with nothing not a sauce not the included popcorn nor the included sause. Waiters overworked and short tempered you can’t have a conversation with her. Or possibly biased towards certain guests. This is one of the most over priced half chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life…I just feel awful to my friend who invited me out to eat chicken with him.

The food at home tastes like it was fresh from the kitchen and even better. So really wow. Huge praise. This is by far the best thing I have ordered and eaten in a long time. In any case, I can warmly recommend the chicken, the lentil and cauliflower salad, the chicken sandwich and also the fries with the spicy mayonnaise. Really very strong!

The fried chicken is coated in a very thick flour batter, which is neither bran nor starch. The chicken has not been marinated and has no base flavor. It is not as delicious as the fried chicken before decoration. The fries are as delicious as ever, even if they have been left out for twenty minutes, they are still crispy, and the three sauces are also very substantial. Forget it about chicken, really.

Strange concept. 5 people behind the counter but only one serving. Actually not much activity. I asked. I left again after about 10 minutes.

Unfortunately most of the food items weren't available when we visited but the beers were and they were good! It's a great way to try the BRLO beer range without having to make your way to their main brewery. I would recommend the tasting board, it has a lot of variety.

We often go to KaDeWe, but we haven't really had BRLO on our radar until now. What a fatal mistake! It's fantastic! 😀 Really delicious beer, and not just the German standard pilsner in the repertoire. The food was also very tasty and absolutely sufficient. The cauliflower. Yummy! Service very attentive but not intrusive. From now on the first point of contact for us.

First time I visited KaDeWe, I was blown away by the exceptional service, delicious food and impressive beer selection and coincidently, the staffs were so nice, Elvis recommended burry vision for me and it was my favourite beer🍺 KaDeWe is one of the best Resturant I have been to since I moved to Berlin

I had dinner there with colleagues and drank a few beers. Both the meat eaters and I, as a vegetarian, really got our money's worth. And the fries are the best anyway! We received super friendly service and really enjoyed our time.

The choice of drinks was quite limited, non-alcoholic drinks are not the focus. We each had half a grilled chicken, but it came from the convection oven - the grill next to it seems to be just for decoration and the chickens were pre-fried. Unfortunately, they were also too salty and overall seasoned. For that price I could go to Chicken Hugo, have better taste and drink a few more beers.

Wide selection of BRLO draft bears! IPA is especially good.

The ordering process is a bit confusing. The Fassbrause is very tasty, and the beers we had are highly recommended (Porter and Weizen)

Recommended for woke Berlin hipster craft beer fans with a penchant for straight edge. The Kikok chicken itself is really good and grilled perfectly. Light crust, very tender inside. We had it with the thyme-lemon marinade which went very well. It was also roughly dismantled beforehand. The fries had been on the counter for a while and were only lukewarm. But replacements were immediately available and they were perfectly crispy and tender on the inside. The sauces are really good too. The beer, on the other hand, didn't convince me. In general, the drink selection is rather clear. I'm not an IPA fan, so I ordered the Weizen, which has the same sour taste that I don't like in traditional craft. There is only their beer, Berliner Weisse without coloring, no ice cubes ("We don't serve cocktails, so we don't have any cocktails"), etc. So, it's all a bit uncompromising and too much of a message for my taste. Whoever likes it...

We had booked the tasting event and were guided through the world of the BRLO brewery and beer by our employee Natascha. Thank you for the great advice and the lovely evening! It was awesome and a lot of fun. Highly recommended for everyone. We especially liked the “parings” of the beers, completely new.

We decided to go here for food and a drink. We had the vegetarian meal, which was delicious. The service was ok and it was nice to watch the hustle and bustle in the KdW.

Either you have to sit at the counter (then with service) under a strong, very cold exhaust system and a permanent cacophonous sound system or in an area where the service doesn't give a damn about you. While the four of us are having fun behind the counter (they're welcome), you have to place your order with immediate payment, just like in self-service counter. The service at the table was underground and disinterested. The whole event there is not worthy of the 6th in KaDeWe. It's a shame actually...

Be sure to try the chicken with BBQ spice. Justifies an extra pale ale to deglaze…

Yesterday we were there around 4 p.m. and were actually looking forward to the delicious chicken and a special beer. But this is the fifth time we have been disappointed in the same way. At first the waitress ignored us or referred us to colleagues who did the same. After 20 minutes someone finally served us, only to tell us that the food was sold out?! Of course, this can happen on busy days. We wasted our time there for the umpteenth time without it being particularly busy or even close to closing time. Rather, they were always peak times when you would expect regular food.

Beer is good as usual, food tastes good too but in my opinion it's a little overpriced. Unfortunately, staff are regularly overwhelmed, so tables are not cleared/cleaned or orders are forgotten.

Als wir ankamen gab es kein Chicken mehr. Wir wollten also die vegetarischen Gerichte ausprobieren und ich bin echt begeistert. Das Maisgericht mit Kartoffeln ist mein Favorit. Die neue Cider Winteredition gab's leider nur in kalt, hätte ich gerne auch in warm probiert. Ansonsten alles top!

Das Hendl/Broiler/Hähnchen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Service ist fast so leger wie im Stammhaus am Gleisdreieck. Alles fein und brewed in Berlin.

By far the best roasted chicken in berlin. It’s crunchy, warm , tender , absolutely delicious. The service is excellent . And it’s always nice to be in kadewe as an atmosphere. A must try !

Perfekte Ergänzung des kulinarischen Angebots im KaDeWe. Perfekt um entspannt lecker Bier zu trinken oder großartiges chicken zu essen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Spots auf der 6. sehr großzügig und daher etwas entspannter

The beer flight is very fun! I strongly recommend the Baltic Port beer for its hints of chocolate. The beer flight enables you to try five of the beers, which is how i got to taste the Baltic Porter, which i wasn't planning on ordering initially.

We had an amazing dinner here this evening; the best chicken any of us have had anywhere ever! Between us, we also tried the beer tasting selection, which was apparently incredible and I loved the Riesling. We’ve eaten brilliantly in Berlin, but this was a real highlight and we would highly recommend. The staff made our family super welcome so thanks to Haris and the team for a very special dinner.

Very bad service. My wife asked if she could order. Got then told that somebody will come to the table to take it. Waited then for over 20 minutes and nobody showed up. So went then back again when somebody will finally come. Got then told the exact opposite that she has to order there?!?!? Then asked if she could then finally order now but then got told that the kitchen is closed right now and she can not?!? Luckily another person came then and said that she obviously can order now and then simply get her food when the kitchen is open again in 5 minutes. Honestly also do not understand why the kitchen would close in the middle of the day in the first place. The chicken was then OK but for sure nothing to get excited about.

Für die Lage ein super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Viele verschiedene Biere, die super lecker sind. Was anderes hab ich nicht probiert.

BRLO Biere frisch vom Fass, Kikok-Hähnchen vom Rotisserie Grill und super leckere Gemüse Gerichte. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Immer wieder gerne hier am Wochenende!

Bestes Grillhähnchen (zwei Leute werden hier locker satt für ein halbes Hähnchen) und Berliner Biervielfalt!
