''Tante Lee'' Tradition in Jena

Ordered food through Lieferando, paid online. The food never arrived. Stay away from that place! After an hour and a half, the kitchen told me they had sent the food again. Then, after about two hours, the driver called me and told me the kitchen was closed. I should demand my money back from Lieferando. Just infuriating!!!

If you're looking for something different, this is the place for you. Moderate prices and incredibly delicious! Looks authentic. Addendum: Too bad they don't serve authentic Vietnamese food anymore. It's become fashionable to serve sushi. I can't comment on that.

Ordered six hours in advance, but the food was still delivered 45 minutes late. The sauce cups were open and leaking in the bag. The food was delicious but ice cold. Overall, the food was good, but the execution was absolutely disastrous.

Super delicious sushi and wok dishes! Always super fast service & perfectly reasonable prices. Unfortunately, there are limited seating options, so a maximum of six people can sit at a table.

I waited almost 1.5 hours for my food, and then the order was wrong. The food was delicious, but the service and delivery were really bad. This is the second time.

At 7:08 PM, we ordered three meals, which were supposed to arrive at 7:55 PM. The food didn't arrive until 9:45 PM. By then, we were already starving.

A huge compliment goes to the world-class driver who delivered my sushi. Fast and very friendly service. Simply fantastic! We need people like that!

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my last order. 1. Food was no longer hot 2. Delivery was incomplete 3. Unavailable by phone 4. No response to complaint via contact form 5. No response to emails. It's a shame, we were actually very satisfied.

Ordered from Lieferando and stated “without sauce”, it was still delivered with sauce and there was no response on the phone. 0 stars would be appropriate.

Auntie Lee is divided into order service/street vending and Auntie Lee Traditional, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food. The menu is certainly not to everyone's taste and may be a bit small, but it's definitely tasty and reasonably priced. The ordering service also offers what it is supposed to do at good prices and impresses me above all with delicious curry and sushi. I like eating here, whether ordered or on site.

Nach der Bestellung dauert es sehr lange, auch wenn man Stunden vorher bestellt hat. Das Smartphone ist wichtiger als die Kundschaft. Im Lokal selbst, könnte die Zeit für etwas mehr Sauberkeit genutzt werden.

New: I used to think they were great. However, the new card doesn't impress me at all. It's not original and like any other Asian in Jena. The only positive thing that can be highlighted is that there is tofu and vegan chicken. Earlier: At Tante Lee Tradition you can get the best traditional Vietnamese food in Jena. At least these types of dishes. The location is great. The employees all work quickly, there are no long waiting times. And there are vegan versions!

From 6 dishes only one could be called as palatable. Spring rolls served cold. Supposedly spicy sauce was mild. They’ve changed the menu and not for the better. A real shame

Actually, my friend and I had good experiences at Aunt Lee's. Our order today consisted of noodles, vegan chicken and peanut sauce. The chicken was totally over-seasoned and didn't correspond to what we were used to in the restaurant. The peanut sauce can also be described this way. Everything mixed together tasted way too salty, a little like peanuts and somehow strange. Additionally, our delivery was late and lukewarm. As I said, we've been happy so far, hopefully these new taste results will change things!

I thought the Banh Mi was so great and ate it every time I was in Jena. It's a shame that this no longer exists and has been switched to sushi, which is actually available everywhere :(

Why on earth did you change your menu? You were the only restaurant in Jena delivering decent vietnamese food. Every other vietnamese/"asian" restaurant either sucks or doesn't deliver. You had the best positioning and you ruined it by changing the menu and becoming like any other panasian sucky restaurant. Please could you provide the reason or explain if this is only a temporary solution? I am so heartbroken.

Früher unglaublich gern dort bestellt, jetzt wurden leider die besten Sachen aus der Karte entfernt und auch sonst Geschmacklich nachgelassen.

Hat sehr nachgelassen. Letztes Jahr vor Ort war es sehr gut, die Bestellung heute war eine große Enttäuschung. Viel zu wenig Gemüse und Soße auf einem riesigen Haufen trockenem Reis. Das Wachtelei hat ganz gefehlt, bei beiden Essen.

Leider hat die Qualität total nachgelassen. Es hat geschmacklich nichts mit einem originalen Banh Mi zu tun. Viel zu trocken, viiiiel zu wenig Gemüse und Koriander. Das Baguette ist einfach billiges, zu hartes Baguette aus dem Supermarkt. Schade! Fleischqualität auch eher mangelhaft

Ruhiger Ort zum Essen im Stadtzentrum.

Als Versender von vietnamesischen belegten Broten zu empfehlen. Der Besuch vor Ort nicht so sehr.

Ich war geschmacklich positiv überrascht. Bei der Bestellung irritierte mich, dass als Dip bzw. Soße ausschließlich - für mich so bekannt - reine Zutaten serviert werden. - Fischsauce, Erdnusspaste und Sojasauce - das finde ich schon sehr unkreativ. Dennoch sind die Zutaten frisch, die Wartezeit kurz und das Ergebnis schmeckt. Auch wenn mit besseren Saucen bestimmt noch etwas raus zu holen wäre... Fazit: kann man machen, ich gehe in Zukunft dann aber doch wieder zu meinem bisherigen Favoriten in der Stadt. ✌️

Wir haben schon mehrmals dort gegessen oder bestellt. An sich schmeckt es uns sehr lecker, nur mussten wir schon mehrmals beim bestellen feststellen, dass das Essen einfach nicht mehr frisch war. Essen das wir nicht geschafft und über Nacht im Kühlschrank hatten, war am nächsten Tag schlecht (einmal war 1 Gericht, was wir bestellt hatten, auch schlecht angekommen). Sowas sollte mit frischen Essen eigentlich nicht passieren und vielleicht sollte darauf in Zukunft mehr geachtet werden. Trotzdem ist das Essen lecker!

Their egg sandwich is really good. Kleb rice is also good. Order them from time to time. But quality sometimes not so consistent.

Best Vietnamese food I have tried in Jena so far! Sticky rice bowl with chicken and pork rice noodles were tasty. The home made fried spring rolls were light and crispy. The waitress was so friendly and we will definitely come back next time!

Bun mit veganem Hähnchen zum mitnehmen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Super frische Zutaten und große Portion zu angemessenem Preis.

Lieber und authentischer Service. Und die Bahn Mi - ein Traum. Eine Geschmacksexplosion. In meinem Kopf bin ich in Vietnam am Strand gewesen.

Richtig lecker und guter Service. Haben unterschiedliche Gerichte gegessen (Sommerrollen, Knödel und Baguette) und waren richtig zufrieden. Gehen mit Sicherheit wieder hin.

Tante Lee ist eine kleine charmante Lokalität. Die vietnamesische Küche kommt vollends zur Geltung!! Das Essen ist schnell zubereitet, und sieht sehr gut aus. Die Klebereis-Gerichte waren der Hammer, mit dem Tofu oder der veganen Fleischalternative ein Traum. Super nettes Personal, vielleicht war es auch die InhaberIn. Alles schön dekoriert, zum Wohlfühlen und wundervolles essen Genießen! Die Preise sind angemessen, ich werde gerne wieder vorbeischauen.
