Great wine advice, super nice service and the pizzas are unique.

Stayed at the hotel. Location right in the middle of Jena, unfortunately no sufficient sound insulation, woke up every 2-3 hours!

I think this is what a Neapolitan pizza should taste like. Please inform in advance or try it without bias. Was served by the boss.

Very, very tasty here.. the starters, the pizzas and also the dessert.. the staff are also very friendly and helpful.. All in all a very nice restaurant. We would love to come back...

The pizzas were very tasty. The overall composition worked very well and tasted well thought out. Unfortunately the pizzas were a bit burnt in some areas. Just cut it away and you're good. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended. Overall, it is worth a visit and recommended. Especially if you want to experiment outside of the standard pizzas. We'll definitely come back. :)

The pizzas are super delicious. Unfortunately I found the chairs uncomfortable.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The pizzas are super tasty, especially the dough, so I'll definitely order flatbread next time. The only criticism: When it got busier, the waitresses were overloaded, placing orders was difficult and they took a long time.

The atmosphere is very nice and we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately there were problems with the service: a salad we ordered (€17) was served without asparagus without notice because it was out of stock. We only received a €2 discount on the salad, which was disappointing given a total bill of €75. When asked for more generous compensation, the response was unfriendly. We also often had to wait a long time for service. Food and ambience are good, but service could be improved.

If you like pizza Neapoletana, you will love NinOfive. All pizzas are freshly prepared here. I have rarely eaten such good pizza. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is like an Italian pizzeria, very neat and tidy. The toilets are clean.

Ich habe nichts gegen höherpreisiges Essen wenn die Qualität stimmt aber die Bilder der zwei Pizzen kommen nicht an das ran, was uns serviert worden ist. Der Service sollte auch nochmal überdacht werden. Unser Essen kam lauwarm an den Tisch, die Pizza war durchgeweicht.

Pizza as it should be: from the stone oven with a thick, airy crust. Here you can get the best pizza in the area and the snacks and desserts are also impressive. There are also new creative ideas for toppings, some of which change depending on the season. The Hellboy Pizza is and remains the best I have ever eaten.

Super friendly service, beautiful rooms in the halls of a former fraternity house from the beginning of the 20th century. The size of the wine list certainly leaves no taste unaffected, while the Neapolitan pizza is in a heated battle for my personal first place. Absolute recommendation!

I visited NineOfive in the early evening, which I already knew from Vienna, and felt completely at home in the location. The quality of my food and drinks was very good, I would have liked the wine selection to be a little more regional, but in general it was extensive. The staff was very friendly, asked frequently, but not annoyingly often, whether everything was okay and showed a good understanding of the products on offer. However, due to the concept of expiring table reservations after 90 minutes, you quickly feel a little pressured, probably even more so in larger groups. However, I was able to sit longer yesterday without any problems because I showed up early. Thank you for the experience!

Today we were in Jena at NineOFive for the first time. Since we love Neapolitan pizza, it was a very special visit for us. First impression was very relaxed, good music and not too many guests. The service was nice and we were also given an insight into the oven if we were interested. The pizza took a relatively long time, which surprised us a bit since the pizza was baked in 90-120 seconds. The taste of the pizza was good except for the salty taste in all 3 pizzas. The variations were great and the size was perfect. The dessert wasn't all that great. Unfortunately the pudding (a la grandma) wasn't great. The panna cotta was quite ok. Overall it was a nice stay. Point deduction really only for the salty taste and the bad little dessert (€6.50).

Considering that a “Pizza Napoletana” only has to be in the oven for 90 seconds, everything took quite a long time. Visually the result was good, unfortunately all the pizzas we ordered were completely mushy/mushy in the middle and only crispy on the outside. A pity! A service worker - obviously a student - was pretty stupid and preferred to spend most of the time chatting with the pizza maker instead of taking an empty plate. So both service and pizza were a bit of a letdown. That was the "second chance"... but a friend also reported that he had been there twice and everything was great. So it's obviously a matter of luck.

Both pizzas were lukewarm, an absolute no-go, at €20 per pizza I definitely expected more!

The ambience is beautifully decorated, especially with the wine bottles. -1 star: because our table was unfortunately not clean. Plate impressions etc. Service was friendly, but people were constantly pushing us to order the main course when we wanted to enjoy the starter and wine first. You also don't remove the starter plate when serving if there is still something on it. I would recommend asking beforehand. Unfortunately, two out of four glasses were not clean, so - 2 stars. The starter (19€) had far too little bread and the middle of two of the four pizzas was soft, so the dough stuck to the plate. Therefore -2 stars.

A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but I became aware of the restaurant through television. Service was a bit inattentive, after the meal no one came to ask for further requests.

We ate there for the first time yesterday. Nice and welcoming atmosphere, great wine selection and the pizza was really perfect - all fresh and delicious. The music upstairs was a little too loud.

This is the second time I have been to NineOFive Jena. The overall atmosphere is very harmonious and tends to be chic and upscale. The Neapolitan pizzas are a highlight in Jena and, in my opinion, the best in the city so far! I only deduct one star for the selection of non-alcoholic drinks: On the one hand, almost everything only comes in 0.33L (or smaller). I prefer slightly larger drinks to quench my thirst. On the other hand, the prices were rather high - even still water wasn't exactly cheap. Knowing that it will be a slightly more upscale evening, I can always recommend NineOFive!

We had a wonderful evening, with good wine and a great pizza. The best thing was the olive oil that is on every table...we bought two bottles. On our next stay in Jena, we definitely know where we will eat.

A really successful evening! The guest room is very cozy and tasteful. The service staff is really courteous and nice and really knows a lot about wine. I certainly wouldn't have tried the combination of fresh pizza and wine without this concept. But I was taught otherwise, because both harmonize very well.

Ambiente Innen ist sehr schön. Das Essen war gut, dass es keinen alkoholfreien Wein gibt, fanden wir ein bisschen schade. Beim Service leichte Abstriche, gerade als es dann zwei größere Gruppen gab, wurden einige Bestellungen vergessen.

Echte Napolitanische Pizza und eine extrem gute Auswahl verschiedener Weine. Das Ambiente ist fantastisch, die Pizza eine der besten die ich je gegessen hab. All das wird nur getoppt vom tollen Personal, das mit Begeisterung und sehr viel Fachwissen an die Weinauswahl heran geht. Definitiv ein Muss in Jena, sofern man einen Tisch bekommt... Reservierung ist empfohlen.

Super leckere Pizza und Vorspeisen! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen war wirklich gut. Die Karte ist zwar klein, aber dafür sehr außergewöhnlich - die 0815 Pizzen findet man dort definitiv nicht. Das Restaurant ist auf 2 Ebenen in einem sehr schönen Gebäude. Der einzige kleine Nachteil hier ist, dass es v.a. oben ziemlich schnell ziemlich laut wird.

Pizza ist richtig gut, insbesondere der Teig. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen. Im oberen Raum ist die Akustik etwas laut, daher 1 Stern weniger bei Ambiente.

This is a nice place, they have very good pizza. We tried the Buffalana it was really delicious. We also tried the pumpkin pizza, honestly it could have been better, it lacked flavors and did not feel the flavors of its ingredients. But one should say, the dough is really special and so delicious.

Set: Ein Freund schwärmt vom überhaupt besten Pizzarestaurant im Umkreis von 50km und wir treffen uns zu 9 an einem Sonntag 17 Uhr dort. Größtenteils Akademiker, verbunden über gemeinsamen Sport. Setting: Ganz gutes Ambiente, viel Platz und Ruhe. Erfahrung: Das Essen (Pizza) hat wirklich klasse geschmeckt und ist vom Preis im Rahmen dessen, was man heute zahlt. Wir hatten viel Spaß und waren gut gelaunt, aber man merkte schnell, dass die Bedienung nicht so recht gut gelaunt zu sein schien (w). Besagter Freund, der kräftig die Werbetrommel rührte war wohl schon sehr oft da und hat viel getan uns "den Laden" in optimalem Licht zu präsentieren. Es Schien alles etwas extravagant, die Weinkarte war so dick wie ein Telefonbuch und es sei wohl "der neue shizzle" Pizza und Wein so zu verheiraten. Nichtsdestotrotz hat keiner von uns Wein bestellt und ich fragte mich schon, warum keiner die -pro Platz je 2 überflüssigen Gläser abräumt, wenn das doch hier so "high level" läuft. Nunja, es kam dazu, dass ein Glas umfiel und kaputt ging... kann mal passieren, schon 1000x mal erlebt, aber bei NlneOFive kommt das auf die Rechnung (10€!!!) weil es ja "extra für NinoOFive Mundgefertigt" wurde. Hier kann man das übrigens kaufen, gleicher Preis: https://jena.nineofive.de/bestellung ...klar, verkauf' uns doch dein Industrieglas mit Aufdruck für den gleichen Preis wie im Merch-Shop, obwohl das auch zum Selbstkostenpreis ginge, weil das nun mal passieren kann. Es gab noch das ein oder andere Thema, wie beispielsweise den Fakt, dass besagter hyped Freund Hausverbot erhielt, weil er das noch mal ansprach und es dann im Streit mit besagter Bedienung weiter eskalierte. Kurzum, essen wirklich top. Ambiente auch, bis auf die Stühle die wie in Klassenzimmer aussehen. Service grummelig, kritikunfähig und absolut kundenunfreundlich. 3/5 weil man wahrscheinlich selten was kaputt macht und die Erfahrung dann möglicherweise besser ist und für mich war alles gut... allerdings hat mich das gesehene so abgeschreckt, dass ich wahrscheinlich nicht noch mal vorbei schauen werde.

Richtig kreative Pizzen, Wahnsinns Nachtisch und gut Service

Eine richtige Möchtegernpizza. Außen verbrannt und trotzdem nicht knusprig, dafür aber innen totall knatschig. So macht Pizza keinen Spaß. Der Belag war ok aber wenig. Service: unfassbar langsam. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Die Pizzen sind wirklich ein Traum. Der Service und das Ambiente ist auch wirklich klasse. Wie gut essen gehen will, ist hier top aufgehoben. Wir gehen regelmäßig hin und lieben es. 😍

Das NineOfive ist eine tolle Location für Parties. Wir haben hier eine silberne Hochzeit gefeiert. Das Ambiente ist genau so toll wie das Essen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Gute hausgemachte Pizza, gute Weinkarte. Lokaler Wein (Saale-Unstrut) leider Fehlanzeige

Vorweg: Wir lieben Pizza. Wir probieren gern Außergewöhnliches. Ich liebe kross und dunkel Gebackenes jeder Form. Zum Essen: Die Vorspeise (Oliventapenade) war sehr lecker! Neapolitanische Pizza heißt, kurz und heiß gebacken mit knusprigem, dunklen, dicken Rand und dünnem weichen Belagteil ... soweit die Theorie. Der Pizzateig im Nine 0 Five ist hervorragend. Leider wurde er uns nicht dunkel knusprig, sondern schwarz verbrannt serviert. Dafür war in der Mitte für unseren Geschmack viel zu viel Fett. Zum Wein: Der Wein wird überzeugend dargeboten, ist aber tatsächlich nichts Besonderes (für unseren Geschmack, zu kantig und lieblos ausgebaut.) Auszeichnungen, z.B. Kammerpreismünze, hatte keiner der Weine. Preis-Leistung: Trotz nettem Ambiente und sehr freundlichem Personal ... Zu wenig Leistung für den Preis. Sehr schade!

Kurzfassung: 4,5* für Singles und Pärchen 3,5* für Familien mit jungen Kindern Essen gut bis sehr gut (aber oft verbrannt, dann nicht), Service sehr gut (wenn man keine Kinder hat), Wein gut, Ambiente modern und einladend, Preise fair bis gehoben. Details: Wir waren riesen Fans als der Laden während Corona aufmachte und waren recht häufig dort oder haben sogar anfangs bestellt als das noch ging. Die Qualität schien zu stimmen, die Leute waren super nett, das Kreationen waren stimmig und der Wein war gut bis sehr gut. Leider leider stellte sich aber recht schnell ein, dass die Pizzen verbrannt waren bzw. ein guter Teil der Pizzen schwarze Brandblasen aufwiesen, welche man entfernen muss um den Rest genießen zu können. Als wir dann nach der Geburt unserer Tochter so frech waren mit Baby zu kommen, wurde uns durch konsequentes Ignorieren recht deutlich gemacht, dass dies kein Restaurant für die Familie ist (zumindest ist das unsere Interpretation). Auf jeden Fall habe ich mich so unwohl gefühlt, dass ich nicht mehr kommen werde.

Beste Pizza Jenas und mit Sicherheit auch weit außerhalb. Davon abgesehen ist das Personal einfach so cool und freundlich! Ich war schon einige Male hier und wurde immer super nett bei der Weinauswahl beraten - dabei habe ich gar keine Ahnung von Wein, mein Vokabular besteht nur aus "schmeckt" und "schmeckt nicht". Hier kann man sich einfach zurücklehnen und auf die Empfehlungen der Mitarbeitenden vertrauen, und genau deswegen komme ich immer wieder gerne hierher.

Seit der Eröffnung noch zu Lockdown-Zeiten unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Jena, das im weiteren Umkreis seinesgleichen sucht: kreativ komponierte neapolitanische (!!) Pizzen, ergänzt durch eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl kleinerer Barfood-Gerichte. Alles mit höchstem Anspruch an die Produktqualität, sowohl was das Essen mit handverlesenen Zutaten, als auch die umfangreiche Weinkarte angeht, auf der sich namhafte Winzer ebenso wie echte Geheimtipps mit absolut fairer Preis-Leistung finden lassen. Alles mit viel Kompetenz präsentiert von einem jungen Team, das den Gast seine Begeisterung für guten Wein und gutes Essen spüren lässt. Macht einfach Spaß! Wir kommen gerne wieder und wieder und wieder… :D

Nettes Ambiente mit schöner Terrasse in einem alten Gebäude, klasse Service und das wichtigste; Sehr leckere Pizza! (hmmm dieser Teig sucht seines Gleichen!) Allerdings gab es für unseren Geschmack etwas zu viele "weiße" Pizzen (also ohne Tomatensoße) auf der Karte, das könnte man überdenken und besser kennzeichnen. (wir hatten zwei bestellt, bei denen uns nicht klar war, dass sie "weiß" sind und waren dann nicht begeistert) Preise sind auf jeden Fall gehoben. (Pizza 10-17€, Weinglas ab 9€) Insgesamt eine 4,5

Tolle und ausgefallene Pizzen, einfach nur lecker. Wir schaffen es kaum eine Woche ohne :D Auch die Weine. Einfach rundum perfekt und gemütlich :)

We went here on Friday evening with my fiancee. We took one pizza (the last one in menu, for 11euro) and ordered Cola. But they had only Fritz cola (with caffeine) and we didn't want to drink caffeine in the evening. We ate pizza and it was too sour and we didn't like it. We called the waiter and asked for check because we wanted to leave this place. Waiter came and told that WE NEED TO PAY EXTRA 5 EURO FINE because we ate in Friday evening and didn't have anything to eat. We didnt even stay there more than 20 minutes. The waiter told us that IT IS NORMAL IN GERMANY and that if a person comes to a restaurant and doesn't drink anything from menu HAS TO PAY EXTRA 5 EUROS. But we leave here more than 7 years and we know that it is NOT NORMAL. It took us 20 more minutes to explain the waiter that THERE IS NO SUCH RULE AND WE WILL NOT PAY THIS "MAD UP RULE". This is THE WORST restaurant experience EVER for us. We will NEVER come here and we will make sure EVERYONE knows of their made-up rules!
