Very good japanese place, can't recommend it enough. If we would find this place on the first day of our stay we would come here daily..

Very good tonkotsu ramen. The meat was decent and the flavor was good. The broth could have been a bit more intense, though. That's just nitpicking. I find the extra €15 with egg a bit pricey, but then again, we're in Germany—we're used to it by now.

Truly delicious food and friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere. No over-the-top flavors, just real spices. And the green tea was perfectly hot, which isn't the case in many restaurants. I 100% recommend it!

Tried couple days ago the Oro-Chon Ramen at this place and… oh wow. SO GOOD. Like, the kind of good where you forget to talk and just keep nodding while slurping. Absolute flavor bomb. I was genuinely sad when I got to the bottom of the bowl — 10/10 would emotionally bond with this ramen again. The atmosphere? Super cool. And the waiter? That man cared. Friendly, helpful, and clearly into what he’s doing. I wanted to high-five him after the meal. In short: big yum, big vibes, big heart.

The soup was good, but really nothing special. The waiter was more cheeky than funny, and when he picked out a few things to add his two cents, I personally had enough. It was just unpleasant. Personally, I wouldn't come back after this experience. It had less to do with the food than with the overall demeanor of the waitress...

It was OK, but definitely not the quality and quantity you'd get in Düsseldorf. I'm a good eater, but not a big eater. Still, I wasn't completely full with gyoza and kaarage. Kaarage was a bit dry, and the gyozas (small) tasted the same as everywhere else, so I assume it was frozen. My ramen was good, but not enough; it was all gone in three bites. The toppings were well-stocked. Unfortunately, not my first choice in Nuremberg.

I had a ramen 🍜 today. The soup was OK, unfortunately not my taste, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for that. PS: Food is always a matter of taste and is not a criticism.

I don't understand the extremely high ratings. The ramen broth lacks oomph. The noodles are too smooth; the broth doesn't stick to them. The pork slices are cooked through and tasty, but they could have been cooked more tenderly. Everything tastes good, but it could be much better. The drink selection is just average. The service staff were flawless so far. The fact that the food arrived so quickly speaks volumes about the many pre-made, quick meals. Love and dedication to good food look different.

We also had good conversations about (Japanese) tattoos 😄 the atmosphere was also very harmonious. With 2 starters, 3 drinks and 2 large bowls of ramen we came to around €55 - great!

A real insider tip! The ramen bar has a wonderfully cozy and atmospheric interior - perfect for switching off and enjoying. The service was friendly and attentive. And the ramen? Simply delicious! The broth was aromatic, the ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced. I'll definitely be back!

It's of course great that the chain came to Nuremberg. I'm a big fan. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. The staff is very nice. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point because in my opinion there is better ramen in Nuremberg, and we also had to wait quite a long time for our order.

The Nuremberg branch of Mendokoro Takumi, a famous and popular restaurant that originated in Dusseldorf and is well-known throughout Germany, will open in 2022. This is a ``Sapporo concept'' ramen restaurant that uses Nishiyama Seimen, and offers a variety of ramen. Among them, the one that caught my attention was the "Spicy Miso Shrimp Karaage Ramen" with the concept of "Surf & Turf (waves and grass = seafood & meat)". I think I've never eaten this before. Spicy miso shrimp fried ramen was the most luxurious and gorgeous ramen. A spicy miso soup that doesn't use pork is filled with shrimp and fried chicken. It also comes with flavored eggs. The noodles are made by Nishiyama Seimen and are thin and curly. This really felt like ``special ramen.'' The ramen costs over 3,000 yen in Japanese yen, but I think it's worth it! The Takumi Nuremberg store also became a very popular store. A Japanese ramen shop that represents Germany and Europe. I want to keep chasing it (#^.^#)!

I happened to come across this particular shop as it is right next to the room I was in. First time eating ramen, and I have nothing negative to say. Nice shop, fast service and very tasty food.

The pork bones are cooked for a long time and made into a thick soup that provides warmth to my body in this cold winter! There are many options for delicious food, but if you want a hot bowl of ramen, Takumi is definitely a good choice. Friendly service and Japanese atmosphere. Would recommend and come back

I've eaten ramen many times and I have to say that it really tastes the best here, the prices are perfectly reasonable and you can simply taste the quality!

I've eaten at Takumi in Nuremberg twice so far and was impressed by the delicious ramen both times! What stands out for me in comparison to other ramen restaurants in the area are the great noodles (I'm a fan of the consistency) and the strong broth. When it comes to vegetarian ramen, I think you get more on offer here than at many other restaurants (e.g. with gyoza or vegetable tepura). The decor is also attractive and when I was there in winter and had to queue outside, tea was brought to us straight away :)

Overall, the store, the food and the staff were convincing. The surf and turf ramen isn't exactly cheap at around €18, but the portion was really big and damn tasty. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Absolutely recommended if you're in the mood for ramen 🍜☺️

I was here for the first time about a year ago and since then Takumi has been a must on every visit to Nuremberg! I think I've already filled up two stamp cards. Except for the vegetarian items, I think I've tried all of the ramen at least once, two of the Don dishes and the only problem I face every time is whether there's karaage or takoyaki as a starter! The staff is always friendly, quick and takes the time when someone like me asks for recommendations! It's been a long time since I've been there for lunch and that's why there was a lunch menu: Kombo C with Tonkotsu broth and Kalbi Don, with a passion fruit spritzer. The Kalbi Don tasted great, was marinated brilliantly and the juice from the meat and onions that permeated the rice was simply great! I added 2 spoonfuls of the chili crisp oil to the tonkotsu ramen and remembered too late that the seasoning options here actually contain seasoning and 1 spoonful would have been completely sufficient. The chashu was juicy, the noodles were pleasantly chewy, the broth was strong and the fried onions with the mung bean sprouts and bamboo shoots on top just fit perfectly and gave a nice touch! The one drawback that you might have is that the desserts are nothing special, but such a small portion of yuzu ice cream after a hearty lunch is still super refreshing! Unfortunately, Google won't let me upload photos at the moment, so I can only recommend that you come by and take a look yourself! PS: There were three gentlemen sitting at the table next to me who were talking in Japanese and clearly enjoying themselves! Always a good sign for foreign cuisine restaurants!

This was by far not my first time eating ramen soup in a restaurant, but I have to admit that the ramen I ate at Takumi was by far the best I've ever had. I am very enthusiastic about this restaurant and will definitely eat there very regularly. The atmosphere is really cozy, the selection is extensive and the service is very courteous and quick. 100% recommendation!

Really very good ramen! The boiled eggs are perfect and the pasta tastes unique and aldente. The employees are also very kind in explaining the differences between the ramen. The portions are large and are also available to take away. Personally, I wish there were more mushrooms in the ramen, but this is just a personal preference. The starters are really very good, especially the gyoza! The lunch menu is particularly worthwhile because you get an appetizer with your ramen. The atmosphere is very nice, a bit small but cozy. In December last year I was eating there with a friend and we smelled like we had finished eating about 40 minutes after our lunch break, because we clearly underestimated the size of the portion. The staff was very friendly about this and just told us to come earlier next time. Overall a great place to eat!!

I had surf and turf ramen. My companion could choose from 6 vegetarian or vegan ramen. It was very tasty. Ambiance was right. The service was remarkable. We wanted it a little spicier and helped ourselves to the chili flakes at the table. The service was attentive and brought home-made chili paste very quickly and without asking, which was really spicy. New drinks were picked up and brought quickly. When we left the door was even held open for us. It was a nice evening. Naturally *****

The most authentic ramen in town

We are in Takumi at least once a month. No matter what you order, everything tastes delicious and the service is really great. Also lots of veggie offers. We love it!!!

You don't have to wait long for Long - the guy serves caffeine faster than a ninja. Some say he once put out a burning soup bowl with his bare hands while bringing extra chili to a guest. Others say he once won a fight against a sumo wrestling chef just to secure extra spring onions for a guest. And he has definitely saved at least seven kittens! Conclusion: Food 10/10, Service 11/10, Long 1000/10. If you're lucky, he might even give you a secret long blessing - and then your ramen will never be lukewarm again.

Well deserved 5 stars for service and atmosphere. Though always full and thus occasionally a bit "crowded", it offers the atmosphere of how a ramen restaurant is supposed to be enjoyed. Staff is very friendly, which alignes even more with thé theme of a ramen restaurant. Food menu offers a lot of variety, I tried the Vegan Miso and was very satisfied. A bit too much toppings for my personal liking. The broth is exquisite - in most restaurants, the vegan broths lack something (e.g. too thin, more like a soup than a broth) or are too much in one direction (too salty, too sweet or too sour). The miso broth here at taking Hits the spot perfectly 😙👌 The egg on my picture was ordered additionally, it is not included in the vegan ramen.

We ordered vegan ramen (one shoyu and another spicy ramen with Tempura). Mala veg roll was super delicious. Ramen was also nicely done. Overall a good dinner place for Japanese! Thank you for the delicious food! Gochisosamadeshita! :)

I came here with my dad and brother cause we all got hungry. The appetizers here were good, we got the spring rolls, and they tasted great with the sauce. My Poke Bowl with fried chicken was great. My whole family had a good time eating. Very nice guy. working

Small, fine, tasty - that's how I would describe Takumi. I spontaneously came here in the evening on the recommendation of a colleague and just managed to get a small seat by the window. The restaurant always seems to be busy and a reservation is recommended. The food tasted excellent and was served within a very short time. For me, the restaurant is particularly suitable as a quick snack, but it also seems to be popular with groups who stay here for a little longer.

I recently tried Takumi Nürnberg Sapporo Ramen, and it’s truly an authentic Japanese experience! Even though Japanese noodles can sometimes be on the sweeter side, they can adjust the sweetness on request (super considerate!). If you prefer a saltier taste, definitely go for their miso or the "豚味" （Tonkotsu ） version. And if you want less salt, just let them know. Highly recommended for ramen fans! Recently tried Takumi Nuremberg Sapporo Ramen – truly an authentic Japanese experience! Although Japanese noodles are sometimes a little sweeter, they can adjust the sweetness if requested (very accommodating!). Very tasty starters. Food was prepared quickly even though the restaurant was busy. The frames are delicious, large portions, only the type of noodle is different than what I'm used to.

I also received very good advice. The taste was delicious, but maybe I just didn't find the right soup for my taste. The facility is small but cozy.

Die Ramen selbst haben mir gut geschmeckt, und ich würde sie als solide bewerten. Leider entsprach das Fleisch nicht meinen Erwartungen. Ich persönlich empfand es als nicht so appetitlich, da ich auf Knorpel gestoßen bin, was mir den Genuss etwas getrübt hat. Der Laden ist allerdings sehr sauber, und der Service war wirklich hervorragend. Das Essen wurde zeitgleich für den gesamten Tisch serviert, und sowohl Essen als auch Getränke kamen schnell. Zusammenfassend würde ich sagen, dass der Besuch durchaus in Ordnung war, aber ich persönlich würde beim nächsten Mal eher eine vegetarische Option wählen.

Very cool ramen restaurant. As a starter we had the karagee (here even prepared with chicken legs = juicier) and the takoyaku. Both tasted very tasty. The main course was Karagee Miso Ramen and Teriyaki Miso Ramen, both of which were very spicy and tasted extremely good. Greetings go to the nice waitress "Long", very humorous, funny and nice waitress. Will definitely come by again 🤝🏽

Great framework restaurant, highly recommended! We were at Takumi's for dinner around 6:30pm on a cold winter day. Since you can't make a reservation, there was already a small line in front of the restaurant. But the wait wasn't bad, because there is a patio heater in front of the door where you can warm yourself and the owner also brings hot tea to the waiting guests in front of the shop. There is a small selection of Japanese drinks such as yuzuka or sake. The menu is in the same style as a restaurant in Japan. The restaurant's interior is also very authentic. We had kimchi, miso ramen with terryaki chicken and vegan miso ramen with gyozas. Everything was really delicious and recommended! The service was also friendly and quick. The only thing missing is a small basket to put the handbag. Then a visit to Takumi is almost like visiting Japan! We'd love to come back.

Great recommendation for frames in Nuremberg. Great noodles, soup and generous, very fresh toppings. Also vegetarian and vegan versions. I was very enthusiastic about the Vegi Miso Ramen. No reservation but early evening in December during the week a table was still available, later it filled up quickly. Rightly so popular. Friendly service and absolutely reasonable prices for the quality.
