Because of the excellent reviews, a friend of mine and I wanted to try the ramen at Takumi. The food came very quickly and was indeed very tasty, especially my friend's shrimp ramen. I ordered Takumi's special ramen with miso, and it was also very tasty, although there was a bit too much vegetables for my taste. However, it could be that this is normal for Sapporo ramen. I've experienced it a bit differently before, but I didn't consider it a negative, because the soup base was truly delicious. If you want to try delicious ramen, Takumi is definitely a good place to go.

Let's say I've tried a lot of ramen in different cities and countries, and the "Special Ramen" I ordered wasn't perfect, because the vegetables weren't fried, they were just thrown into the broth. The portion was too big, which I couldn't eat. The broth is 3.5/5, as is all the ramen. The service is perfect.

Absolutely ridiculous in Cologne. Open every day from morning to night. In Bavaria, it's only open from 5:00 p.m., which is simply unfriendly to customers!!!!!!

Very tasty ramen and very fair priced

Okay, be careful! We arrived as a somewhat larger group. We were immediately greeted by arguably the best waitress in the world. Unfortunately, I didn't ask his name, but the young man was friendly, quick, and especially funny (no joke, he was really entertaining!). He helped us arrange two tables into one long table without any problems and even came straight away with menus. While in other restaurants you wait forever for someone to come, this man was really quick. We ordered drinks - they arrived a few minutes later! Unfortunately, I had a bit of trouble with the food because I don't particularly like Asian cuisine in general (as I said: we were a larger group, and the others really wanted to go). Everyone ordered, but it took me forever to find something. In the end, I settled on a simple ice cream. I felt incredibly sorry for him 😂 the disappointment after all the waiting to find something. But even then, he was still veeerily friendly, nice, and funny. :) Payment was quick and painless. If the good man ever reads this: Sorry for the "small" tip! You actually deserve much more! I'd come back anytime just for the entertainment! ❤️ Maybe I'll find more than just the ice cream then 😉

No Ramen No Life! By far my favorite ramen restaurant. The vegan versions are just as delicious as the meaty ramen.

I had "Gyoza & Karaage Teishoku," which is basically a set meal consisting of gyoza, miso soup, kimchi, karaage, and rice. I simply love this combination. The karaage was moist and delicious, the kimchi was perfectly fermented, the miso soup was spicy, and the gyoza were good. I think it contained chicken and some vegetables. For dessert, I had matcha ice cream, which, although it came from a package, tasted incredibly delicious (and not at all artificial). I sat outside; there were larger seating groups, but also individual tables for 1-2 people. It's especially nice to be able to sit outside in good weather. There was plenty of space inside, and they have an upper level with additional seating where the restrooms are located. The restroom was tidy and clean, lacking nothing. The waitresses were very attentive, and they even checked my suitcase at the end so I could quickly use the restroom.

It is a nice place with decent prices. The service is very good but the Ramen itself could be much better. I took a standard Tonkotsu and honestly it was quite bland, i mean it is a good soup but from.the flavor point of view a bit away from the vest I've tried. Karaage was super good - crispy and juicy!

Absolutely unfriendly and rude waiter - never again The waiter greeted us in Vietnamese (?) even though we have no Asian background whatsoever. He himself spoke German without an accent. When I ordered, he replied twice with "Pardon?!" When I looked at him, confused, he simply said, "Haha, I was just kidding." Then he conspicuously looked at a bandage on my arm and asked, "What did you do?" - absolutely rude and disrespectful. I have never experienced such poor service in my life. We left the restaurant before dinner and will definitely not go back.

We wanted a break from schnitzel and bratwurst and Takumi didn’t disappoint! Food is tasty, portions are generous and service is top notch. The broth is perfectly balanced when most ramen broth is usually too salty for my taste. I strongly recommend you stop and try Takumi Ramen while in Nuremberg!

We paid over 40 euros for two ramen and two drinks and didn't even get full! The dishes are simply too small! I wrote about it on their Instagram, and they laughed at me, but it's not a problem...

By far the best ramen in the area (or ever?)! Since the restaurant serves only ramen, one naturally expects the noodles to be of a certain quality, but they are more than that! One sip of the precious noodle soup and all my problems disappear for a few minutes. The decor is reminiscent of modern Japanese cuisine, and the service is always extremely friendly and attentive. A visit to this restaurant once a month is a must!

Delicious ramen, good selection, fast, humorous service, a nice outdoor seating area, and clean restrooms. A little around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Breite Gasse, but absolutely central. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is simply amazing! The food is incredibly delicious, and every dish is a true taste experience. You can tell the passion that goes into the cooking here. What really makes the visit perfect, though, is the service. The entire team is super attentive and friendly, but the guy with the tattoos especially stands out. He's always in a good mood, has a brilliant sense of humor, and cracks really cool jokes, which create a great atmosphere. You just feel completely at home and well looked after here. Anyone who's ever been to Max's Beef Noodles in Munich will notice the HUGE difference and will never go back. Don't go! 🤢

Best ramen this side of Bavaria!

Great ramen in the heart of the old town. We visited on a Friday evening. The restaurant was busy, but we were quickly assigned a table for two. The menu is straightforward, but offers a good mix of traditional ramen variations and creative appetizers and main courses. We opted for tonkotsu and teriyaki miso ramen. The broths were very well-balanced, the noodles had the typical alkaline consistency and color, and the toppings were delicious and fresh. I loved the perfectly cooked, lean pork slices in contrast to the rich tonkotsu broth. Often, fattier char siu belly slices are served with the broth. Another positive aspect is the portion size, which is really filling (unlike some other ramen shops in Nuremberg). A great place for a bowl of noodle soup when you're in the old town.

Very good tonkotsu ramen. The meat was decent and the flavor was good. The broth could have been a bit more intense, though. That's just nitpicking. I find the extra €15 with egg a bit pricey, but then again, we're in Germany—we're used to it by now.

Tried couple days ago the Oro-Chon Ramen at this place and… oh wow. SO GOOD. Like, the kind of good where you forget to talk and just keep nodding while slurping. Absolute flavor bomb. I was genuinely sad when I got to the bottom of the bowl — 10/10 would emotionally bond with this ramen again. The atmosphere? Super cool. And the waiter? That man cared. Friendly, helpful, and clearly into what he’s doing. I wanted to high-five him after the meal. In short: big yum, big vibes, big heart.

The soup was good, but really nothing special. The waiter was more cheeky than funny, and when he picked out a few things to add his two cents, I personally had enough. It was just unpleasant. Personally, I wouldn't come back after this experience. It had less to do with the food than with the overall demeanor of the waitress...

It was OK, but definitely not the quality and quantity you'd get in Düsseldorf. I'm a good eater, but not a big eater. Still, I wasn't completely full with gyoza and kaarage. Kaarage was a bit dry, and the gyozas (small) tasted the same as everywhere else, so I assume it was frozen. My ramen was good, but not enough; it was all gone in three bites. The toppings were well-stocked. Unfortunately, not my first choice in Nuremberg.

I don't understand the extremely high ratings. The ramen broth lacks oomph. The noodles are too smooth; the broth doesn't stick to them. The pork slices are cooked through and tasty, but they could have been cooked more tenderly. Everything tastes good, but it could be much better. The drink selection is just average. The service staff were flawless so far. The fact that the food arrived so quickly speaks volumes about the many pre-made, quick meals. Love and dedication to good food look different.

The Nuremberg branch of Mendokoro Takumi, a famous and popular restaurant that originated in Dusseldorf and is well-known throughout Germany, will open in 2022. This is a ``Sapporo concept'' ramen restaurant that uses Nishiyama Seimen, and offers a variety of ramen. Among them, the one that caught my attention was the "Spicy Miso Shrimp Karaage Ramen" with the concept of "Surf & Turf (waves and grass = seafood & meat)". I think I've never eaten this before. Spicy miso shrimp fried ramen was the most luxurious and gorgeous ramen. A spicy miso soup that doesn't use pork is filled with shrimp and fried chicken. It also comes with flavored eggs. The noodles are made by Nishiyama Seimen and are thin and curly. This really felt like ``special ramen.'' The ramen costs over 3,000 yen in Japanese yen, but I think it's worth it! The Takumi Nuremberg store also became a very popular store. A Japanese ramen shop that represents Germany and Europe. I want to keep chasing it (#^.^#)!

I happened to come across this particular shop as it is right next to the room I was in. First time eating ramen, and I have nothing negative to say. Nice shop, fast service and very tasty food.

The pork bones are cooked for a long time and made into a thick soup that provides warmth to my body in this cold winter!
