We tried the Tonkotsu Special, and the broth was incredible - creamy and deeply savory without feeling too heavy. The noodles had just the right bite, and the chashu was melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender. The Spicy Miso Ramen packed a pleasant kick, balanced by sweet corn and perfectly roasted garlic oil. Don’t miss their Gyoza - crispy on the outside and beautifully seasoned inside. Portions are generous, and you can customize your bowl with extra noodles, egg, or chili oil at no extra fuss. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, making it easy to justify a return visit.

Wow, the ramen shop in Nuremberg is horrible. Rarely eaten such bad ramen. the gyoza taste disappointing. Not as well fried as you know it, wrong gyoza sauce. The ramen was pure disappointment. Full of watery broth, hardly any flavor, hardly any spices, just watery and bland. Visually not so inviting either. The egg was also cooked incorrectly - noodles were okay I love ramen and have tried many ramen shops, but the one in Nuremberg was one of the biggest disappointments. Summary: 🤮

Great taste of ramen. As vegetarian and vegan, they have so many options, and the flavor are amazing. Recommend if you want some nice ramen flavor.

Had chicken with Nanban sauce, it formed a composition of various flavors in my mouth accompanied by calm harmony. It was really tasty, together with a Kirin beer we were really well looked after here, which was reinforced by the friendly staff. Every time, KFC is an insult to the chicken animal.

Went here for a quick lunch and it was super tasty. The ramen broth was excellent as was the corn starter. My Asian schnitzel with vegetables was great. The homemade lemonades were flawlessly prepared and not too sweet. Cool decoration. We'll be back.

The best ramen I have eaten in Germany. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived and we were seated at the table. The food was processed very quickly and everything was delicious. The portions were more than enough. The waiters are always friendly and ready to help. The ramen and salmon carpaccio were really delicious. After the meals, we ordered an Espresso Martini. Everything excellent. Super recommended!

We were here for the first time today and got a place outside for 3 people without a reservation. The service is friendly, attentive and very quick. Shortly after our order we received the drinks and the salad. The two hot meals arrived at the same time shortly afterwards. The portions are decently sized, which puts the price, which at first glance seems expensive, into perspective - you get enough food for your money here. Payment was also possible without cash, including a tip. I can only recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommended Japanese restaurant, especially at lunchtime. But here you have to be quick or make a reservation. Today the store was full about 15 minutes after opening. Very tasty food with great service.

very yummy ramen. definitely want to book ahead if you're coming here, it was quite busy for a wednesday. ramen was very flavorful and meat was soft and juicy. nice amount of toppings to broth and noodles. sushi tacos were good too, very good flavor and nice amount of fish on top. service was quick and staff were very kind and helpful. interior was cute. i liked the option to add lime juice or sauce to the top of the food.

Great food and amazing waiting stuff!

Great food at a fair price. The Karaage was very crispy, light and fresh with a nice sauce and lemon wedge. The Ramen had a flavourful broth, great noodles and some delicious and unique toppings. I can't say that I've ever had green asparagus in Ramen before but it was actually very tasty. Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing special. A very solid ramen shop with average taste. Not worse than others, but not better either. Price-performance doesn't fit here. No recommendation.

This small Japanese restaurant in the center of Nuremberg impressed us again on our second visit. The food is authentic, high-quality, and very tasty. The service is fast, attentive, and friendly. Despite its stylish decor, the large room creates a bit of a disturbance, both in terms of noise and interactions.

We liked the variety of ramen. The gyozas were great. Special requests are always possible. That's great.

A ramen shop located along the main street leading from Nuremberg Central Station to the center of town. Vietnamese manager? This is a restaurant that has studied Japanese ramen quite a bit. Here was "TONKOTSU SHOYU - YOKOHAMA STYLE". As the name suggests, they served ``Yokohama Tonkotsu Shoyu,'' or ``Iekei-style'' ramen. What's more, the tonkotsu soy sauce was very rich and sticky, making it a very authentic, rich tonkotsu soy sauce. I was surprised to find that I had never seen such a thick and rich pork bone soy sauce at other restaurants (in German-speaking countries). The noodles were rather thin. The ``Yokohama-style pork bone and soy sauce ramen'' was very filling, with plenty of char siew and plenty of wood ear mushrooms and spinach. Also, does it look like Vietnam? The tabletop seasonings are also interesting. There was lime, rajaojan, and shichimi chili pepper, and I was able to change it to Asian-style Yokohama pork bone soy sauce to family-style ramen. The atmosphere was more like a stylish dining bar than a Japanese ramen shop, the music was cutting-edge, and the design of the restaurant was lovely. I think that's what makes ramen from overseas so interesting, that it's not run by a Japanese owner. I want to come again.

Best Ramem far and wide. Unfortunately, it's always full, and you can't get a seat without a reservation. Everything is a bit cramped.

This is a Thai restaurant. The ramen tastes very salty and average. We also added some Japanese fried dumplings.

While looking for a delicious dinner, we discovered Monki in Nuremberg - a spontaneous decision that we haven't regretted for a second! The ambience is stylish and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. And the food? Simply great! For us the best ramen we have ever eaten – 10/10!!! We were particularly impressed by the Tantan Ramen (spicy and full of flavor) and the Shoyu Classic Ramen (soft and aromatic). Their homemade drink selection looked very appealing and my drink (Rose Darling) was super tasty and recommended. The crowning finale was the Matcha Crème Brûlée, which tasted simply heavenly (order that too!!) So absolute recommendation! If we are in Nuremberg again, we will definitely come back. A visit is worth it! I already miss the taste...

Very nice restaurant. The ramen was super tasty and the fried corn is also highly recommended as an appetizer. Unfortunately there are only 2 pre-made choices (3 if you include vegetarian) for the ramen.

Based on the positive reviews, we spontaneously decided to have dinner at MONKI. The restaurant was quite busy both inside and outside. So good omens. In the end we were somewhat misled by the hype from the guests. The food (karaage and 2 different ramen) was by no means bad, but the taste was nothing exceptional either. Just average. It somehow lacked authenticity, the final kick. It tasted like when I, as a non-Japanese, cook ramen at home. Something was missing. Maybe the real Japanese kick.

For the lunch set, I ordered katsudon and salmon rice bowl and ordered karaage on the side, and it was all delicious. The cucumber salad and kimchi served as side dishes were also delicious.

I was there as a tourist and ordered to take away because the Rech store is full and it's difficult to get in with a stroller. The staff is very friendly. My order was misunderstood but it was corrected within about 5 minutes. I even got a beer on the house for eating the wrong thing.

First of all, not cheap, but very tasty and simply special. The homemade lemonade was already very good, then we had rice cooking mocchi style as a starter, then vegetarian ramen and at the end the macha creme brulee and the sago pearl mango coconut pudding as dessert. All tables were occupied and refilled again and again. We highly recommend the Monko Ramen!

Ich war mit meiner Tochter essen. Vorneweg, es ist nicht günstig, aber für uns war es definitiv das Geld wert. Es war sehr lecker und wir sind gut satt geworden. Wir hatten drei kleine Reis-Mocchiküchlein als Vorspeise, danach Ramen und dann noch Mango-Kokos-Pudding mit Sagoperlen sowie Matcha Creme-Brulee. Dazu besondere hausgemachte alkoholfreie Drinks, einmal mit Ingwer-Limetten-Gurke und einmal mit Aloe-Vera und Basilikumsamen. Es war auch einiges los und die Tische immer wieder gefüllt. Wir können das Monki Ramen auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlen.

Unfortunately not such a good experience. The ramen wasn't anything special and was a surprisingly small portion. The music and atmosphere in the store is very penetrating and loud. When I asked for a glass of tap water, I was told there wasn't any. Then I was given ice-cold tap water in a carafe, which was charged three euros. I think good restaurants don't need that.

Yummy! Despite the lack of space, the service tried hard to accommodate us.

A bowl of miso ramen costs 20,000 won, so I can't say it's good value for money, but the broth was very rich and the chashu was delicious without any smell, and when I asked for it to be spicy, they even added spicy toppings (probably red pepper powder), so I was quite satisfied with the taste. There are a lot of customers and the space is small, but if you don't mind the noise, you can eat comfortably. As mentioned above, there were a lot of customers, so in order to order, I had to make eye contact with the server and make a gesture of slightly raising my hand. In conclusion, it is a restaurant that is not cheap, but has good reasons (especially the taste). If you visit when you are tired of sausages or schnitzel, you will be twice as satisfied.

I had the Classic Shoyu Ramen and the Homemade Stick Gyoza, both of which tasted great and were prepared with a lot of care. The portions are rather light, so several dishes were necessary. If you are very hungry, you should plan for this. Overall, a great taste experience in a pleasant atmosphere.

We were here with a larger group and had reserved in advance. We were treated in an incredibly friendly manner and the food was wonderful. Regardless of whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, everything was really good. I'd love to come back here.

Super store with very tasty food! The service is very on point and very fast! There is a two star deduction because of the following: Unfortunately, the atmosphere was far too hectic and loud for us. It was pretty cold for us and the air from outside was blowing in. This really bothered us personally and the entire atmosphere didn't suit us.

It was already full at 6pm. Ordered miso ramen, and the food was served quickly. The service staff was friendly. The location is very compact, and I hope to continue exploring for better food tomorrow.

The restaurant is centrally located in downtown Nuremberg and has around 30-40 seats. Table reservations are therefore mandatory and can be done online. The food is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately service wasn't that good… e.g. drinks came after the starters, another drink was spilled while being served... Apart from apologizing with a smile, there was nothing... (not even a new drink). The food wasn't anything special... I found the ramen and the general spiciness of the food to be pretty flat. Ambience so-so, more like a train station hall… Unfortunately disappointing

The food is great, spicy is really spicy and the vegan options are very tasty. Unfortunately, it is very loud in the restaurant and it is difficult to sit down at the tables in the middle of the room without contorting yourself because there is only one long bench.

Great selection of different delicacies. What I also think is great are the pictures in the menu!! Both the various starters and the ramen itself were very tasty. But you should definitely make a reservation. When we went there to eat on a Saturday evening there was a long line in front of the restaurant. We were allowed to go in front because we had reserved but the others easily had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table.

The waitresses were very friendly and the price-performance ratio was good. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the draft of cold air, which often occurred with new customers constantly coming. But an attempt was made to counteract this with a curtain. The relatively narrow and open seating conditions weren't particularly disturbing, but they only allowed a limited amount of privacy, which is why there is a deduction in terms of ambience.

I've been there several times and always enjoy meeting friends there for dinner. It's usually busy, so it's usually worth making a reservation. If it is very busy, you may have to wait a while for your order to be taken, but it will come quite quickly. The service staff is very nice. A variety of food and drinks are offered, including vegan options (starters and main courses). The portions are rather large, so it's a good idea to share the starter if you order one. Extra requests such as “without leeks” are always taken into account. Overall a great restautant experience.

Excellent Ramen, I got tori shoyu and Hubby got tan tan men. Broth makes the ramen and I feel their chicken beoth is spectacular! Cant wait to try their pork broth 🥰 coffee is also pretty good compared to takeout places.

The ramen was good, the noodles seemed to be home made, they were firm, but tender at the same time. I've been to places with a lot more offer, but this one was okay. The service was nice and extra points for accepting us when it was already late, near closing time.

Schade! Wir hatten viele sehr positive Bewertungen gehört und hatten einen Tisch reserviert und waren pünktlich. Trotz Minusgraden mussten wir dann draußen 15 Min. warten. Innen setzte man uns an einen Tisch nahe der Tür, wo es so zog, dass alle ihre Jacken anbehalten mussten. Der Service war freundlich und sehr schnell, so schnell, dass man sich eher wie am Fließband vorkam. Das Essen war ok, die vegetarische Ramen fanden wir am besten. Die Portionen haben uns gereicht, allerdings sind die Preise relativ hoch. Alles in allem enttäuschend, wir werden nicht wieder hingehen. Es gibt in Nürnberg bessere Alternativen.

We spontaneously waded here in the early afternoon and after a short wait we got a place for the two of us with a small child. Unfortunately it's right next to the door and therefore a bit drafty despite the thick curtain. Service very friendly and quick. Kitchen also very quick and totally delicious!

Delicious food! The menu was very nicely designed to explain how to properly eat your Ramen. The noodles where homemade and the ingredients very fresh. Nice cozy atmosphere with very good service! Would recommend 💯

The food and drinks were really top. However, a bit expensive and the space was really very tight. Despite a reservation, we (5 people) sat with three other strangers at a table that normally offers space for 4 or a maximum of 6 guests. With appetizers, bowls of ramen, and drinks, it was hard to move. Perhaps better recommended in summer when the outdoor area is open and offers more space. Service was good and the food was prepared and delivered quickly. There are many options to customize the ramen, including plenty of vegetarian options.

Solid ramen restaurant. Is designed for fast throughput, staying seated for long periods of time is not desirable. Tonkotsu Ramen was very tasty, broth was almost too thick. Starters very good. Unfortunately, the main course came just a few minutes after the main course, so I had to wolf down the starter in order to eat the main course while it was still warm. I was asked several times to move to make room for even more guests. Prices very fair.

On December 29th I had severe intoxication, which caused me to feel unwell on the fifth day, lost 2 days of work, ruined the New Year, I can't recommend it to anyone.

We were there for dinner on New Year's Eve. As a starter there was an incredibly delicious sandwich (see photo, number 8 on the menu). Crispy, juicy and quality you can taste. The main course was ramen with chicken broth and pork. The overall picture here was consistent but not outstanding. All in all, a delicious main course with no big surprises. It was pretty full and we were basically sitting in the path of the waiters, but that wasn't too annoying. However, we hadn't made a reservation and were happy to have gotten a place. The kitchen was clearly visible from our seat. Lots of fresh food that was sliced ​​breaded etc. However, there were also some exceptions that were warmed up in the microwave. But this is certainly not the case in any kitchen. Successful dining experience.

You feel a bit like you're in a train station hall. You sit very crowded together in long rows of tables, you hear the conversations of the people sitting next to you and it's quite loud. A coming and going. Therefore points deducted. But the food is excellent.

Pleasant Japanese restaurant. We came just for the ramen and we weren't disappointed. We were there shortly before 12 p.m. and were able to get a spot. The restaurant filled up quite a bit and all the seats were immediately filled. There are tables with benches against the wall on one side of the restaurant and a long table in the middle of the room where you can sit down. The menu is extensive and there is also a large selection of drinks. We had 50 Tonkotsu Shoyu (Yokohama Style) and 51 Tonkotsu (Monki Style). Both soups had a pleasant taste. We would come to the restaurant again if we were in Nuremberg again.

Already our second visit and definitely not our last! Authentic cuisine and location, very courteous staff, very attentive and on point despite high occupancy, quality of starters and main courses at a high level, all at a reasonable price for a city center location, what more could you want?!
