Takumi Köln - Japanisches Ramen Restaurant in Köln

I really like Takumi. They consistently serve solid, well-made ramen. The broths are rich and flavorful, and the appetizers are fresh and delicious. The lunch specials are particularly attractive and offer excellent value for money. The staff is always friendly and attentive. It's no wonder there are now so many Takumi branches in Europe. Overall, a straightforward, pleasant experience with good quality. I'll be happy to return.

Food 6/10. This has to be the least popular Takumi Ramen restaurant. The gyoza dumplings had almost no filling, the ramen was ok, nothing special.

The style of the place is nice, but unfortunately, the restaurant has a very strong, musty wood smell. The ramen is average. The gyoza are like you'd find in any Asian restaurant.

Not recommended. The restaurant is not clean, the ramen is not the authentic Japanese ramen taste, the noodle soup is not rich, it seems to be mixed. One of the Chinese waitresses (with a ponytail) was very unfriendly, I couldn't understand why she was like that, it was very strange. For us who walked for more than 30 minutes using the navigation to eat, it was a very disappointing experience.

Good ramen and cozy restaurant:)

Compared to the Düsseldorf compartment, the food here wasn't as tasty (even though we had the same items), but it was cheaper. Service wasn't as friendly either, rather wordless and much too fast, even though it wasn't as crowded.

A real Japanese restaurant, not cheap, but the ramen is excellent.

This is definitely not Japanese ramen. If you are Asian, you will be very disappointed. I had the tantanmen and it didn't taste like that at all, and the shrimp topping and fried chicken are a really bad combination.

The ramen tasted absolutely terrible. The miso soup had a very strange flavor, and the noodles tasted like plastic. My ramen also contained fried chicken that looked like it had been fried a week ago; it was extremely greasy and full of lumps. For €18.90 (or similar), it was definitely not worth it. I'm very disappointed, especially after so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. Go somewhere else!

Super delicious! The staff is super friendly, and it tastes exactly as it should. The iced tea is great, as is the Kirin on tap.

Simply the best ramen I've ever eaten. Simply top quality. The fact that my first date with my lover took place here also gives this place a special meaning for me. We always enjoy coming here.

We're from Bavaria and love Asian cuisine. :) We spontaneously decided to try Asian food and saw that this place supposedly has the best ramen in Cologne. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given a table. And we have to say, everything was simply top-notch: Ordered directly without a long wait Drinks and food were served quickly The food was fabulous; I haven't had such a taste experience in a long time. (As a Bavarian, I even really enjoyed the Kirin draft beer ;))

There are some delicious ramen soups here. I think there's a huge selection. Try it yourself!

You can enjoy the food in a lovely atmosphere, and there's absolutely nothing to complain about. The cocktails are amateurishly prepared, but acceptable for the price. It's definitely worth dining here.

I was always seeing Takumis everywhere and this branch was my first experience. It was quite nice, we managed to find a more calm area at the back and even that area was full when we were leaving. The food was nice, we got bowls with chicken karaage. The chicken was very tasty and juicy.

The chicken teriyaki and the fried shrimp tasted very good, the only thing that bothered me was that both dishes had mayo on them. In my opinion, it doesn't fit with an authentic Japanese restaurant, even if this shop otherwise embodies authenticity very well.

I don’t know why the rating is so high. Maybe it’s because it has been adjusted to the taste that Europeans like. If you have ever eaten real Japanese ramen, it is not perfectly presented at all, and the soup tastes very salty.

The three of us were there spontaneously on May 1st. Quick seating assignment, fast & friendly service + delicious food. There is a large selection of different ramen creations and additional side dishes. The ambience is nice and simple. I don't live in Cologne but it was a delicious experience!

Relaxed place for dinner, although the ramen was just OK and by default they come without eggs, which was a bit surprising. Tantanmen were more watery than creamy. But Katsu and Gyoso were fantastic for that.

Service bad: unfriendly, doesn't give advice. Food: okay, but way too expensive. Broth too salty and few ingredients in it, especially for the price. Ambiance: OK, music was nice and volume was good for entertaining. Otherwise it doesn't look so inviting and the menus are very worn out, some are broken and allergens are not labeled. Don't believe the hype! Rating completely undeserved.

I was very excited about what was supposed to be the best ramen in town. Unfortunately we were disappointed. I find the atmosphere not very inviting and everything a bit hectic. We ordered two appetizers and then ramen. The appetizer wasn't even on the table for five minutes before the ramen arrived. It seemed a little like clearance. The broth and the noodles themselves were very good, but the ratio between all the ingredients was not right. Half the bowl was full of green onions and sprouts. We had all the chicken dishes, from teriyaki to the gyoza and I can't recommend any of them, the quality is very poor. The service seemed a bit annoyed.

I went for ramen for the first time with friends. Unfortunately the service was really not good and when asked what could be recommended, the answer was "Everything". Thanks, unfortunately that doesn't help and doesn't make for good service. Even otherwise, we sat at the table rather deserted and had to ask for further conditions. Nobody else came. In my opinion the food was good and tasty. I ordered the vegan ramen. For around €20, I think a noodle soup with 3 pieces of tofu, 3 gyozas and some vegetables is way too expensive. The atmosphere also left a lot to be desired. My menu card was broken and allergens were not listed on it. As it turned out, the lady's toilet was also used as a storage room. In addition, the place didn't seem clean overall. Very frightening and a shame, especially for my first visit. My friends and I won't be coming back.

I'm used to better!!! There were three of us who ate there and the service was friendly and relatively quick. However, the food was really bad for the price. My own tastes even better. Since I ate in Dortmund and Bielefeld, you can't compare it here. The noodles were too firm, the egg was cold and poorly pickled. Vegetables were also poor and exhausted. The soup had hardly any taste. The miso also tasted nothing like miso. Unfortunately, the meat was wobbly and had a strange taste. The gyoza was also too well done and dry. I therefore absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant and do not understand these reviews here. Either people don't know anything else or we simply had a bad day.

We had the food delivered! A ramen soup for €20! The broth was very good. Noodles good. Otherwise, no vegetables for €20, just the chicken that was ordered with it. Overall, that's not enough for the price. I don't understand the good reviews!

I've been to Takumi in Cologne a few times now and have been thrilled every time! The ramen is incredibly delicious - perfectly seasoned, with great ingredients and always served nice and hot. You can simply taste that the cooking here is done with quality and attention to detail.

The food is really delicious. We had ramen, the side dishes were delicious, the noodles were springy and tasted good. The soup is very salty and suitable. Especially worth recommending.
