I always enjoy coming back! The food is delicious every time, and everyone on the team is super nice and friendly.

We came close to closing time and the owner (i suppose), still served us. We had the fried squid, some ramen and drinks. Price is fair for the quantity of food. The fried squids were reaply good, the ramen is ok. The interior of the restaurant is very nice.

CAUTION!!! As many others have already written in their reviews: This restaurant offers "gifts" (as far as I can see, a mini cardboard notebook) when you leave a review. This, of course, leads to many 5-star reviews with little to no content and any information. We ordered two ramen: one vegan and one chicken. The miso broth in both was tasty, but both the toppings and the noodles themselves weren't particularly good. For such a hefty price, you'd expect high-quality noodles. Instead, they tasted like instant noodles. The topping was also strange. There's really very little topping (it looks like a lot in the picture, since I also ordered karaage), and it's not a good taste. The "crispy" chicken was very oily and greasy. I couldn't stand it later. Karaage was the same. More oil than meat. The meat is also not high-quality. The vegan version had strange topping combinations, and there was very little overall. Overall, it's not comparable to Takumi in Düsseldorf. What you get here is something you can easily cook yourself in your own kitchen.

The ramen was delicious, and the broth had a nice flavor. The toppings were also plentiful. The karaage were crispy and tender, though the mayo could have been seasoned a bit better.

We arrived a little earlier than 1 p.m. and were able to get in early. The staff was very friendly! And the food came quickly. First, appetizers, then ramen. It was delicious and very plentiful. Extra toppings weren't even necessary to fill you up. It was obvious that it had been recently renovated. The price/performance ratio was right for us. By the way, after about 25 minutes, the restaurant was 75% full. So be on time or make a reservation, especially if you want one of the two limited-edition ramen.

Takumi remains a top spot for ramen in Cologne. All the variations I've tried so far, both vegan and with chicken, are highly recommended. My favorite is the R09/R24, which I like with an egg!

You may call me a culinary snob, but I prefer the term soup-critical esthete. But my expectations were correspondingly high after the digital laurel wreath parade (vulgo: 4.8 stars). As soon as I entered the restaurant, the air seemed to smell of miso and manipulation: a small sign on the table, as inconspicuous as a wasabi nose, whispered to me: “5 stars = gift”. Aha. A super-inflationary shower of stars bought with the prospect of a free gimmick. Refined. Another guest later showed me the “gift” The menu was a love letter to ramen, but a no-brainer for anyone looking for alternatives. Apart from a solitary curry, there was no other way to break out of the ramen monopoly. This may please purists, but if you come with someone who isn't into the Japanese soup cult, look a little into the soy sauce. The food was OK. 17€ – ambitious, but not necessarily justified I was no longer a guest, I was a reviewer with a premonition.

I can't fully understand the enthusiasm. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio was not right. The food was ok, but other ramen restaurants simply have more ingredients. Here you could mainly find pasta, few vegetables and even less chicken. We only had 2 small slices in each of our 3 portions. Think it was less than 50g. There is now so much choice here that we will probably go somewhere else in the future.

A calm and warm atmosphere ensures that the food tastes even better. We particularly enjoyed the vegan ramen (the tempura!) and the vegan gyoza. The homemade iced tea is particularly recommended in summer. The service is very courteous and helpful🤗

It's just so perfect here, I've never seen such a perfect and delicious ramen restaurant and it's a halal restaurant so only chicken and vegan here, I'm happy to recommend it ❤

Great food! Great ambience. The food arrived at the table more than warm and stayed that way until the last bite, a rarity these days. Some of the most authentic Japanese food I have ever eaten.

Takumi Veggie is a highlight every time - super delicious ramen, fresh ingredients and really good vegan selection. The shop has style, the staff is friendly and the food comes quickly. For me the best address when it comes to vegan Japanese cuisine!

It was our first time at Takumi Cologne, Antwerpener Straße and we were warmly welcomed and given very good advice. The food was delicious and the service perfect, Small special requests were gladly fulfilled. The employees are very friendly. We'd love to come back. The price-performance ratio is right here.

We went to Takumi Chicken & Vegan Ramen today and loved it! The ramen was not only a visual highlight, but also really excellent in terms of taste - by far the best we have eaten in Cologne so far. Everything was freshly prepared, finely tuned and super aromatic. Particularly noteworthy are the crispy chicken – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside – and the perfectly balanced broth. The homemade drink was also super refreshing! The atmosphere is cozy and modern with loving details and Japanese retro posters that immediately inspire wanderlust. The service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back – an absolute recommendation for all ramen lovers!

Yesterday my girlfriend and I were here for the first time. The service staff was super friendly and accommodating, and we were also offered water for the dog :) The facility is very nice - we wouldn't have guessed that from the outside ;) and we felt very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the food, there is a large selection of ramen and we didn't have to wait long. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, even though the ramen is delicious, it tastes very generic. Nothing that could even begin to be compared to even very cheap ramen restaurants in Japan. Still, mostly authentic and tasty by Western standards. There are definitely 1-2 better options for ramen in Cologne. By the way, the karaage are 100% frozen food. Still tasty, but charging almost €8 for 5 pieces of frozen food where a whole bag costs €10 is just a bit cheeky. The staff was also kind of... Well. I wouldn't say unfriendly, but it didn't seem like you had any customer contact experience or enjoyed your work. You can do it. Bonus points for the noodles themselves, they are strong.

Unfortunately, my spicy miso ramen tasted mostly like sugar. I felt like I was constantly biting into a Mars or Snickers, even though I was eating noodle and vegetable soup. Even the spiciness I wanted couldn't cover it up. The service staff then confirmed to me that all the spices used contained sugar. Apparently no other guest noticed this. I definitely won't eat here again. I can definitely recommend the green tea - made with decalcified water - and the staff is very accommodating.

I came to this ramen restaurant spontaneously and I was very impressed. The noodles from Hokkaido are very tasty and have the right consistency. The ingredients in the soup and the broth have a first-class taste. I will also try the Takumi in Hamburg. I can highly recommend it for Japanese ramen fans!

Very nice ramen restaurant with a good variety of ramens. The service was very fast and friendly. The restaurant’s atmosphere was very cool with Japanese styled posters.

We went to Takumi Chicken Vegan and really loved it! The food was super tasty, especially the vegan gyozas – they were really amazing. The filling had the perfect consistency and everything tasted great. The rest of the dishes were also really good and made with a lot of love. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it!
