Takumi japanisches Chicken & Vegan Ramen Restaurant Köln in Köln

We ordered two ramen, but unfortunately the quality did not meet our expectations. The bowls were just noodles in broth with a single piece of chicken - no vegetables or other ingredients that you would expect with ramen. Overall, the preparation seemed very simple and not very varied. Given the price of €45, we would have liked a richer and more flavorful meal.

I've eaten here several times and am always very satisfied. 🙂👌🏻

As a self-confessed ramen fan, I have to admit: one of the best vegan ramens I've been to so far. Vegan ramen usually consists of misu (broth), which doesn't have much flavor. However, there was a large selection of vegan or vegetarian ramen variants and meat substitutes! Ambiance typically Japanese - narrow but cozy!

The food is always delicious. Takumis has quickly become my favorite restaurant.

Very very tasty! Friendly, authentic and attentive service. Always my pleasure. The ramen (Tan Tan Men) was very tasty, as was the pickles as a starter. The chicken was okay, but I've had better before.

The staff was very accommodating and polite. There is a good, large selection of different ramen and other Japanese specialties, especially for vegans. The food itself was very, very tasty and very large for the price. A ramen fills you up easily here.

Very nice service and everything was clean. Both the vegan ramen and the chicken ramen were very tasty and there was a large selection of side dishes. Definitely recommended! Additional information. Unfortunately, we both had migraines afterwards and I know that I can't tolerate glutamate. If it was marked on the menu, it must have been in very small print so I missed it. If you are equally sensitive, I recommend explicitly asking about preparation without sodium glutamate/MSG when ordering.

Relatively small but very nice Japanese restaurant with flair. The food tastes great! With an appetizer and a drink, the vegan options were under 30 euros and we were full. Effective and nice employees.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing visit to Takumi. Because of my allergy, I specifically asked about the allergens. The staff gave me conflicting answers about whether certain allergens were present and then presented me with a card with half of the allergen label missing. None of the staff were able to provide me with a complete and clear allergen table, which severely affected my confidence in the service and safety for allergy sufferers. In the end I was asked to leave the restaurant - without food and with the feeling that my request was not taken seriously. Very disappointing, especially for people with allergies.

We came from Euskirchen specifically to try the food here, it was definitely worth the trip! Would love to come back, great food, nice atmosphere and very nice staff.

Delicious and authentic ramen …

A very small and cramped restaurant, but still found a place. Very friendly staff. There is delicious ramen. It has to be said that there is only a vegan or chicken version to choose from with 3 different sauces. Of course, appetizers are also offered. And delicious drinks.

The food was really extremely good. Both the ramen and the spring rolls.

Here I get a nice selection of different vegan ramen and other vegan dishes/snacks. There are also dishes with chicken. But also a larger vegan offering. I can also recommend the homemade iced tea. And I tried a Japanese soda for the first time here. The service is always quick and friendly. I also like the style of the restaurant. Clear recommendation for people who like to eat ramen or Japanese cuisine. Especially if you like to eat vegan.

Best takumi in Cologne, unique taste very very tasty

Food was flawless and super tasty. I had the economy menu C with a miso soup and a sidedish. Both recommended. The service was a bit uncoordinated in places, but extremely friendly and accommodating. I'd love to come back.

Takumi Ramen in Cologne is a real insider tip for all ramen fans and gets a full 5 stars from me. The ramen is incredibly tasty, perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared. Particularly praiseworthy is the friendly and attentive team, which is particularly fond of children - you feel completely at home here, whether with or without family. The lunch menu is also impressive: for around 15 euros you can get a generous portion of ramen, an appetizer and a homemade tea. A truly unbeatable price-performance ratio! What's particularly pleasing is that there are also vegan ramen options that can absolutely keep up with the taste. If you are looking for authentic ramen in a warm atmosphere in Cologne, you should definitely try Takumi.

I ate miso ramen on site. The ingredients are fresh, it was also tasty, but it was nothing special. I've eaten much better ramen. I think the prices are very high for what you get. Probably due to the location. But I find almost €16 for a miso ramen very expensive.

We were here for the second time and once again went home very happy, excited and full. Highly recommended!

Some of the best ramen in Cologne

Very tasty chicken ramen! The yuzu broth in particular is something different and I can highly recommend it. Likewise the gyoza. The Kirin beer comes in an ice-cold glass and tastes perfect!

Very nice, young and cozy ramen shop in Cologne. Focused on chicken and vegetarian options it is my go to. No need to go to Düsseldorf anymore. Takumi Köln has got you covered. The friendly and helpful staff is always there for their guests, the music is just the right volume and the food is very good. Thank you for many wonderful visits.

Takumi is always a good choice, especially this one. The signature frames are highly recommended.

Very nice place with tasty ramen. The "limited" ramen with extra long-cooked broth was really tasty, and we also liked the takoyaki. Everything was cooked pretty fast, and soundtracks from Ghibli's movies were a nice and fitting background.

Nice restaurant, with many varieties of ramen. On both the vegan and chicken menus there is the possibility to choose the type of broth. Friendly staff, they speak English and are available to explain the dishes, helping you with your choice. The decor is really nice, the entrance is very nice with paper lanterns indicating the presence of Japanese food. Maybe a dear thread.

A small corner in Cologne where you can taste good ramen without too many pretensions. The environment is not very large but it is welcoming and the waitress was really nice to us but without being intrusive. English is also spoken. Ramen requires knowing how to choose because the flavors are very different: it went well for me, but for my girlfriend a little less.

As the name indicates, this second Takumi offers ramen with chicken and vegan broth. Particularly refreshing in summer try. Shoyu yuzu ramen with a dash of white pepper and chilli oil is highly recommended. Friendly and fast service. A perfect addition to Belgischer Viertel and Ehrenfeld.

The food was very tasty and authentic. The restaurant was very nicely designed, you felt comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Very happy again!

If you're not yet convinced that vegan food can be delicious, you should definitely eat here! The service was also very accommodating and for fans of Studio Ghibli, the ambience is a dream thanks to the music! I will definitely come back on my next trip to Cologne.

The highlight of our trip to Cologne! The food was soooo good! There were four of us and we all ate ramen, but different types. Everyone enjoyed it very much. As a starter we treated ourselves to the octopus balls and they were also very tasty. The homemade iced tea is also recommended. I found it particularly nice that the music from the Ghibli films (Japanese classical music) could be heard during our visit. Unfortunately we were only visiting Cologne, otherwise we would eat here regularly. We are really looking forward to our next visit to Cologne and Takumi!
