Man kann hier gut essen. Der Service ist aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist ein bisschen eng, aber trotzdem sympathisch eingerichtet.

Ich war schon in drei Takumi-Filialen in Deutschland. Jede hat eine etwas andere Speisekarte: verschiedene Brühen, Fleischsorten, Vorspeisen usw. Diese hier in Köln ist meine Lieblingsfiliale, weil ich Hühnerbrühe mit etwas Würze mag. Wir haben die R10 und die R2 probiert. Die R10 hat mir besser geschmeckt. Die trübe Hühnerbrühe mit der richtigen Würze war genau richtig. Sowohl das knusprige Hähnchen als auch das Karaage sind köstlich. Außerdem wird sehr schnell serviert, und der Service fragt genau im richtigen Maße nach, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Ich wünschte, wir hätten auch eine in Bonn.

Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe gearbeitet wird. Vielen Dank, ich komme definitiv wieder!

Nach einem extrem langen Tag in der Tierklinik wollten meine Partnerin und ich noch etwas essen gehen um den Stress des Tages abzulegen. Das Takumi war die perfekte Wahl dafür! Obwohl wir eine halbe Stunde vor Ladenschluss erst da waren, war das Personal ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser bestelltes Essen war schnell am Tisch und war, wie in jeder Takumi Filiale die ich bisher besucht habe, fantastisch! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

I think it all depends on what you order. Our friends' ramen dishes looked very good, but our tofu with rice wasn't all that great.

Highly recommended! I had ramen and was thrilled. The broth was delicious, the miso noodles perfect, and the toppings fresh. Plus, the service was friendly and the atmosphere cozy. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious ramen! I'll definitely come back and try the vegan ramen. The only improvement would be to have your own chili paste/garlic paste/sesame seeds or something similar served at the table as standard.

Extremely disappointing service. They brought the wrong beers, and warm, stale ones at that. When we complained, they showed no understanding. Despite having already ordered food, our group of six was eventually asked to leave. Completely unprofessional, not recommended.

I came here to eat ramen several times a month. The Creamy White TanTan was by far the best soup I have ever eaten. But unfortunately the recipe was changed... very unfortunate. I would have thought it would have been better to raise the prices but leave the recipe the same. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating.

The food was absolutely delicious. The gravy was very flavorful and aromatic. The order arrived very quickly and tasted great. The restaurant is cozy and a pleasant place to sit.

Not recommended, terrible service. Two out of three beers were stale and warm. When we asked for two new ones that were as fresh as the others, the waiter took all three beers back and said they didn't serve alcohol. We asked to speak to management, whereupon the waiter asked us to leave. Completely absurd! We had been there several times before, and the waiter was new.

We found this restaurant through other Google recommendations. Since reservations aren't possible, finding a free table, even on a Saturday evening, wasn't a problem. Upon arrival, we were immediately shown to a table and, after a short wait, received our food and enjoyed it in the restaurant. The food was delicious, the price was reasonable, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. All in all, it was incredibly tasty and authentic. We'll definitely be back.

A highly recommended ramen bar specializing in chicken, as well as vegan soups and side dishes. Especially suitable for those who don't eat pork, which is rather unusual in the world of Japanese ramen, where pork belly is a classic ingredient. Our favorites are the Yuzu Ramen and the Paitan Ramen. A great alternative to classic Tonkotsu Ramen and a firm favorite of ours in Cologne.

Incredibly delicious ramen. The best ever, in my opinion! I had the surf and turf. Perfect combination and plenty of toppings. It's great that there are also a lot of vegan options. The staff is very friendly and the service is very fast.

We waited a very long time for our order, even though ramen is generally considered fast food. On top of that, the chopsticks were more Chinese than authentic Japanese. The food itself tasted good, but unfortunately, the long wait left us a bit disappointed. We also ordered gyoza, which only came with soy sauce and not the vinegar sauce that usually accompanies them. Very disappointing.

First off, I'd like to say that the ramen tasted okay, but nothing special. The noodles were fine, but nothing more. The broth was alright, neither particularly good nor bad. But that's not the real problem. You can immediately tell that the restaurant isn't run by Japanese people. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but then the food, etc., should at least be somewhat authentic. It starts with the chopsticks, which are Chinese chopsticks, not Japanese. Okay, not a huge deal, although it wouldn't have been difficult to simply provide the proper ones instead of the cheap ones you get at Chinese buffets. But why are the gyoza served with just plain soy sauce? Normally, they come with a specific sauce made from soy sauce and vinegar, and optionally chili oil. This is also the case at other Takumi restaurants, at least in Düsseldorf. That's really unacceptable. Especially for the price... It also took quite a while for the ramen to arrive. It was pretty crowded, but ramen is fast food after all... Well, the place seems to be doing quite well, judging by the reviews. The restaurant is clearly aimed at Germans. They're trying to pass it off as Japanese, but the clientele hardly cares. Most of them probably don't even know what authentic Japanese food is 🤷 The poster wall also looks like some things have snuck in there in Chinese. Are the posters AI-generated, by the way?

Probably one of the best ramen I've had. I had the R25 (creamy tantanmen with tomatoes and Soy balls), and it was delicious. Perfect salt level in the broth, and not too spicy. My waiter was friendly. The atmosphere of the joint is calm. Perfect resting spot.

The worst of the Takumi restaurants in Cologne… To save true ramen fans from bitter disappointment, like all the other Takumi branches in Cologne, neither the quality of the ingredients nor the timing of the preparation is right; the food is cold, uninspired, and poorly seasoned. The Cologne branches are significantly worse than the main restaurants in Düsseldorf… Unfortunately, mass production doesn't guarantee quality, and charging these prices is completely unacceptable.

I had the R15 - Cologne Signature Ramen Surf & Turf, and the V16 - Cucumber (slightly spicy). The service was friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely eat here again.

We just wanted a solid quick ramen and were so pleasantly surprised that we came back the following week. Takumi has four different shops in Cologne, each specializing in a specific broth. Here, they had a very good chicken broth and even vegan versions. The chicken broth was very rich and warming, just what we needed for the autumn weather outside. The vegan broth was also completely convincing. We're excited to try the other versions :)

A Japanese chain with delicious ramen in Cologne. I particularly enjoyed the Creamy White Tan Tan Men. In my opinion, the broth could have been a bit spicier, but it was still very flavorful. The amount of ramen was especially great – vegetables like bok choy could have been a bit more plentiful in the broth. Otherwise, it's really great – and the service is friendly. The prices are a bit on the high side – with a drink, it easily comes to €25. There's comfortable seating both inside and outside. Outside, you can even enjoy the sun!

Here, I get a nice selection of different vegan ramen and other vegan dishes/snacks. There are also chicken dishes, but also a larger vegan selection. I can also recommend the homemade iced tea. And I tried a Japanese lemonade here for the first time. The service is always fast and friendly. I also like the style of the restaurant. A clear recommendation for people who enjoy ramen or Japanese cuisine, especially if you like vegan food.

Very nice, young and cozy ramen shop in Cologne. Focused on chicken and vegetarian options it is my go to. No need to go to Düsseldorf anymore. Takumi Köln has got you covered. The friendly and helpful staff is always there for their guests, the music is just the right volume and the food is very good. Thank you for many wonderful visits.

CAUTION! Two of us were there today – one vegan, the other with crispy chicken. Unfortunately, the broth was nothing special. For the hefty price of €17-18, we absolutely don't see it coming – this was definitely our first and last visit. Of course, they collect positive reviews through small gifts – that's the owners' tactic. Don't expect authenticity here: Japanese paintings on the walls, but the staff are all from China. It feels like deception to us. Overpriced, lackluster flavor, and the atmosphere inauthentic – beware!

We finally went to Takumi again today. As always, it was fantastic. The food was served very quickly and the staff were very friendly. We had a mix of vegan and meaty dishes. The prices are more than reasonable! We would love to come back. This review reflects our personal opinion and was written independently of any "gifts."
