The food was delicious and tasted as if the chef had his own recipes. Rather spicy and more interesting than the standard sweet mush you usually see in Indian restaurants. I believe that the cheese (paneer) is also homemade. The highlight: there is salty lassi with caraway seeds :) The service was friendly, personable and was able to provide good information about the food. Nevertheless, one small wish for the kitchen: the naan (we had garlic and ginger) could taste more like garlic or ginger. It was too subtle for me

The sauce was simply perfect, and the spiciness was also top notch. The prices are great! Added to this is the quick and very friendly service. The restaurant is a real insider tip for me. We ate here twice at Easter. Very comfortable, top service, friendly. The food was delicious and rich. A very small suggestion for improvement. The tomato sauce could use a lot more spices and braised onions. We will be back. Price/performance is right.

Very tasty food, perfectly seasoned. I was even able to park almost in front of the door. The price was a little above average, but parking was free after 6:30 p.m. and the samosas were a good size. The staff was very attentive and never made me wait long. Gladly again!

As a native I affirm this place is a pretty decent Indian restaurants in the region and it's pet friendly. We ate Thali, and their Naan is cooked deliciously in Tandoor, thin and crispy. Would definitely recommend visiting this place for Indian taste craves.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and had a great experience. It was very convenient that they're open all day. The environment and vibe was great. Nice and intimate with good music. Sukhdev was my server and he was super friendly. I wanted spicy and he recommended an amazing dish that hit the spot. I had naan that was pretty good and light. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Es war sehr lecker meine Freundin hatte Fisch mit Mango und ich Linsensüppchen, Hähnchen mit Masala. Sollten wir wieder in Dinkelsbühl sein, dann kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir sind zu Besuch in Dinkelsbühl und haben nach einigen Tagen mit deutschem Essen eine kulinarische Abwechslung gesucht. Wir waren die ersten im Restaurant, wurden aber vom Inhaber und dem Servicepersonal sehr herzlich empfangen und super bei der Auswahl des Essens beraten. Wir hatten das Bombay Thali (Nr. 134) für zwei Personen. Mit Hühnchen, Lamm und vegetarischen Gerichten. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell gebracht, der Reis sogar vom Chef selbst auf den Teller serviert. Es war toll angerichtet und super lecker, auch das Nan-Brot. Der Reis wurde genau im richtigen Moment vom aufmerksamen Servicepersonal nachgefüllt, man musste nicht mal selbst nachfragen. Der Mango-Lassi war klasse und definitiv selbst gemacht, was heutzutage leider gar nicht mehr Standard ist. Der Lassi hatte eine tolle Konsistenz und wurde eiskalt im Kupfergefäß serviert. Danach gab es noch ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Inhaber über seinen Werdegang, er kommt aus Mumbai und ist erst seit Mai 2023 der Inhaber des Bombay Tandoori. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, waren jederzeit herzlich Willkommen und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Danke!

Ein gehobenes indisches Restaurant. Die Einrichtung hier ist geschmackvoll ethnisch, ohne überladen zu wirken. Die Tische sind hübsch gedeckt und geschmackvoll dekoriert. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und individuell, beispielsweise wird man nach dem gewünschten Schärfegrad der Speisen gefragt, und auch ob man noch Reis möchte fragen die Kellner ganz von selbst. Die Speisen sind geschmackvoll angerichtet und sehr schmackhaft. Definitiv eine Empfehlung.

Wir waren letzten Sonntag dort essen mit der ganzen Familie und allen hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen ist authentisch, frisch zubereitet und schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Die Atmosphäre drinnen ist ebenfalls ansprechend, Köche und Bedienung sehr nett. Anscheinend hat vor kurzem das Kochteam gewechselt, ich kann einen Besuch nur empfehlen.

Haben zum ersten Mal die indische Küche probiert. Der Service war sehr nett und das Essen sehr lecker, kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :)

Seit dem neuen Inhaber richtig gute Küche, sehr freundliche Bedienung und und unbedingt einen Besuch wert. Uns gefällt es besonders gut im Außenbereich mit den Blick auf die schöne historische Altstadt.

Zufällig hier gelandet und nicht bereut. Original Indische Küche vom original indischen Inhaber (im Gegensatz zum pakistanischen Taj Mahal in Crailsheim) der bereits bereits langjährige Erfahrungen in Mumbay, der bayrischen und der Tiroler Gastronomie gesammelt hat. Absolut zu empfehlen

Der Service ist super, der Betreiber ist sehr freundlich und erzählte uns seinen beruflichen Werdegang und von seiner Ausbildung in Mombai.

Ich war hier zum Mittagstisch. Ein Gericht mit Suppe kostet in etwa 7€ (je nach Gericht) + Getränk (~3€). Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war gut. Auf Nachfrage wird ein weiterer Teller Reis zum Gericht serviert. Es gibt einen ebenerdigen Außenbereich. Die Toiletten sind etwas versteckt und scheinen älter zu sein, jedoch alles sauber. Zum Mittagessen zu empfehlen. Meiner Meinung nach, nicht für einen besonders langen Aufenthalt gedacht.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und der niedrige Preis hat uns überrascht. Der Inhaber ist so nett dass wir noch ne halbe Stunde gequatscht haben. Für mich jetzt Pflichtprogramm wenn wir wieder in DB sind.

Ich war selber das erste mal Indisch essen und es war einfach sooo lecker und kann es jedem einfach empfehlen. Die Preise sind einfach Top und Portionen mega. Empfehlenswert! Singh Sukhdev sehr lieber Chef und geht auf allein ein.

Worst Indian Restaurant. They were giving already cooked and stored food. We felt it was stale food. This was in Dinkelsbuhler in Germany.

Das Essen war wunderbar und mit Liebe zubereitet. Wir hätten keine so authentische und gute indische Küche hier erwartet. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Insgesamt große Empfehlung!

The person serving the food was very hospitable. The interiors of the restaurant is very pretty. There are a lot of options available and the selection of the menu is wide. The soup was amazing and so were the vegetable and paneer pakodas. I wish the food had more spice in it. Salt and other masalas were less in almost all of the dishes. But we loved the experience and were amazed to find an Indian restaurant in a little town.

Ich hatte das Naan Brot mit Knoblauch und das Chicken Korma. Ich liebe die indische Küche und war schon in vielen indischen Restaurants, dieses hier ist definitiv eine Empfehlung! Wenn wir nächstes Jahr wieder das Summer breeze Open Air besuchen werden wir uns ganz sicher wieder hier stärken!

Essen war indische Hausmannskost, Leider stimmt die Mittagskarte im Netz nicht mit der im Lokal überein, es gibt zu den Mittagsangeboten nur Veggie, Chicken und Lamm.

Wir haben das Taj Mahal Thali für 2 Personen bestellt – es enthält eine Auswahl von 6 verschiedenen Gerichten. Davon vier Fleischgerichte und zwei vegetarische Gerichte, außerdem wird Reis serviert. Unsere Wünsche zu der Auswahl der Gerichte wurden zudem berücksichtigt und wir haben tolle Empfehlungen vom Personal bekommen. Die Auswahl war super und alle 6 Gerichte haben uns sehr zugesagt. Außerdem ist das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider wohnen wir nicht in der Nähe, ansonsten würden wir wohl öfters dort essen gehen. Daher absolute Empfehlung! Es war wirklich sehr nett, wie zuvorkommend das Personal mit uns umgegangen ist. 🌼

Ayer fuimos a este restaurante por la buena puntuación pero me sorprendió ver tan poca gente en varias ocasiones. Fuimos con nuestro hijo de tres años. Cuando entramos había sólo dos mesas con un total de 5 personas. Nos pusieron tres platos y sólo dos cubiertos. Cuando nos trajeron la comida(tras bastante tiempo de espera para sólo dos platos que habíamos pedido), tuve que levantarme a pedir un tenedor para mi hijo y una servilleta. Se olvidaron también de traer el pan Nan que habíamos pedido también. Mientras estábamos cenando, vi como el dueño del restaurante cogía una pajita de un vaso, la aclaró bajo el grifo Y LA VOLVIÓ A PONER JUNTO CON EL RESTO DE LAS PAJAS! Si hace eso de cara a los clientes no me quiero imaginar que harán cuando no les ven. A la hora de pagar me cobraron el pan y se quedó con las vueltas como propina. Lo peor es que mi marido está CON FIEBRE Y DOLOR DE ESTÓMAGO. Afortunadamente mi hijo y yo estamos aparentemente bien. Espero que mi reseña sirva para que la gente no vaya a jugarse su salud a este restaurante (por llamarlo de alguna manera)
